IMPROVING ENGLISH LEARNING BY USING INTERACTIVE VIDEO AT SMP SATAP PEMATANG JERING

Classroom Action Research on Improving student learning outcomes through the use of Interactive Video is one of the media that helps improve English language learning by introducing students to various expressions in students' daily lives through listening skills for grade VII junior high school students. This research can create an active and independent learning atmosphere. In addition, the Interactive Video introduces students to everyday expressions in English, such as greetings, goodbyes, introducing yourself, introducing others, thank you, and apologizing. The development of Interactive Video designed by using the Classroom Action research design model. then the researcher refers to the process of implementing Classroom Action Research which includes steps including: preparing an action plan, implementing action, observing, and reflecting. Based on the results of the Cycle I evaluation, student learning outcomes were obtained with a class average of 63.6. Then from the evaluation results of Cycle II obtained student learning outcomes with a class average, namely 73. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of learning by using Interactive Video Media can improve student learning outcomes in English subjects in class VII SMPN Satap Pematang Jering. This can also be seen from the results of observations of learning implementation showing an increase in activities at the good and excellent levels from the first cycle to the second cycle.

The Influence of Teaching Talent on Student Learning Outcomes

This research aims to examine the influence of teaching talent on student learning outcomes. The research method used is a quasi-experimental research method. The research design uses Factorialized (2x2) Version of the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample was 140 prospective teacher students at Malang State University, Indonesia. The data analysis technique uses the Analysis of Variances/ANOVA two factor experiment technique. The research conclusion states that differences in teaching talent influence differences in student learning outcomes with an F count of 237,333, significant at p<0.05 and a relatively strong effect size of 0.440. There is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of students who have strong teaching talents compared to the learning outcomes of students who have weak teaching talents. The average value of the subject learning outcomes of the group of students who have strong teaching talents is greater than the average value of the subject learning outcomes of the group of students who have weak teaching talents. Overall, this research contributes to understanding the influence of students' teaching talents in improving learning outcomes which ultimately results in their quality as prospective teachers.

PENGARUH METODE RECIPROCAL LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN DI SMA NEGERI 1 SIMPANG DUA KETAPANG

The aim of this research is to obtain information on the influence of the application of the reciprocal learning method on student learning outcomes in citizenship education subjects in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Dua, Ketapang Regency.The research method used in this research is experimentation in the form of Pre-Experimental Design. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the application of the reciprocal learning method on student learning outcomes in citizenship education subjects in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Dua, Ketapang Regency.The results of the research after being given the reciprocal learning method, obtained data from research samples with a sample size of 28, the average value is 70.00, the middle value is 70.00, the value that often appears is 70.00, the difference value between the maximum and minimum namely 20.00, the lowest value is 60.00, the highest value is 80.00, the total value is 1960. The results of the research before being given the reciprocal learning method, obtained data from research samples with a total sample of 28, the average value is 87.85, the middle value is 90.00, the value that often appears is 90.00, the difference between the maximum and minimum value is 15.00, the lowest value is 80.00, the highest (maximum) value is 95.00, the total value The total is 2460. So it can be concluded that the student's score after using the reciprocal learning method is higher than before using the reciprocal learning method. This can be seen from the difference in the average learning outcomes of class.

Upaya Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Bahasa Indonesia Pada Materi Bermain Di Lingkunganku Untuk Siswa Kelas II SD Negeri 056620 Muka Paya Ujung

The research used is classroom action research (PTK) which aims 1) to determine the process of implementing learning using image media as an effort to improve Indonesian language learning outcomes for class II students at SD Negeri 056620 Muka Paya Ujung; and 2) To determine the increase in Indonesian language learning outcomes through the use of image media in class II students at SD Negeri 056620 Muka Paya Ujung. This classroom action research (PTK) will be carried out at SD Negeri 056620 Muka Paya Ujung. The location of this research was determined based on considerations where it was found that student learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects were still low. The subjects of this research were class II students at SD Negeri 056620 Muka Paya Ujung in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, with a total of 8 people (7 male students and 1 female student). This research was carried out in three cycles, each cycle being held in one meeting. Data collection in Classroom Action Research (CAR) takes the form of observations, tests and documentation. Based on the description of the data and discussion of the research results presented, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of class II students at SD Negeri 056620 Muka Paya Ujung in Indonesian language subjects have generally improved significantly from cycle to cycle by using image media in learning. It can be stated that: 1) Using image media can improve the process of learning Indonesian activities for class II students at SD Negeri 056620 Muka Paya Ujung; and 2) The use of image media in learning can improve Indonesian language learning outcomes for class II students at SD Negeri 056620 Muka Paya Ujung.

Implementation of Sport Education Model Learning for Improving the Learning Outcomes of the Ninth Grade Students in the Physical Education Learning in the Football Material Learning at SMP Negeri 1 Sampara

Satrio Eka Putra: Implementation of Sport Education Model Learning for Improving the Learning Outcomes of the Ninth Grade Students in the Physical Education Learning in the Football Material Learning at SMP Negeri 1 Sampara. This research aims to: (1) describe the increase in student learning participation in Physical Education learning related to football material through the application of the sports education model, and (2) describe the increase in student learning outcomes in Physical Education subjects through the application of the sports education model. This research was classroom action research conducted in three cycles, each cycle consisted of two meetings. The research subjects were 40 ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sampara (Sampara 1 Junior High School). The data collection techniques used observation and learning outcomes tests. The results of research on the ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sampara through the application of sport education model can be concluded as follows: (1) there is an increasing students participation in the Physical Education learning through the application of sport education model with the average in precycle at 65% as it increases from 30.5% up to 95.5%. (2) research results show that applying the sports education model can also increase learning outcomes up to 82.5%.

Pengaruh Metode Diskusi Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Tangerang

The discussion method is a way of presenting teaching materials with the teacher giving students or groups the opportunity to hold scientific discussions in order to gather opinions, make conclusions, or develop various alternative solutions to a problem. Meanwhile, learning outcomes are the value of student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education subjects. So in this research, in the field of Islamic religious education, the goal is to guide students to better know and understand the procedures related to changes in a Muslim, both in relation to God, humans and nature so that the objectives of learning can be achieved. This research is correlational research with two variables, namely the first variable X (discussion method) and variable Y (learning outcomes). The target population is all students at the MAN 1 Tangerang School, totaling 742. And the target population for class XI MAN 1 Tangerang is 117 students. The sample was taken using the Non Probability Quota technique, namely in class XI as many as 38 students. And researchers use product moment analysis. The results of calculations using the product moment correlation formula obtained a calculated r of 0.34, then the results were compared with the tabael r with a significance level of 5%, which was 0.32, meaning the calculated r was greater than the table r. Thus the null hypothesis which states that there is no significant positive influence between the discussion method on student learning outcomes in the field of Islamic religious education is rejected. Thus the research results conclude that there is a positive influence between the discussion method on student learning outcomes in the field of Islamic religious education studies in material on commendable morals and despicable morals at XI MAN 1 Tangerang.

Gamfication dalam Evaluasi Pembelajaran untuk Meningkatkan Hasill Belajar dengan Aplikasi Kahoot Mata Pelajaran Informatika SMA Negeri 14 Maros

This research is clossroom action research (Classroom Action research) which aims to deretmine tha improvement in student learning outcomes in the informatics subject class X.1 SMA Negeri 14 Maros. The research subjects were students in class X.1 of SMA Negeri 14 Maros for the 2023/2024 academic year with a tital of 36 students. This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of 4 meetings. The results of this research show that the application of kahoot game-based media can increase student activity and learning outcomes in informatics subjects. Quatitative analysis shows that learning outcomes in the initial test were 33.33%, in cycle i there was an increase of 55.55% and then in cycle II it became 88.88%. This means that there is a significant increase in student learning outcomes.

Efforts to Improve Science Learning Outcomes Through the Problem-Based Learning Model for Students in Bengkulu

Purpose of the study: This research aims to address the low student learning outcomes in the science learning subjects of class IV elementary school students in Bengkulu by applying the Problem Based Learning model and examining its effectiveness in enhancing the student learning outcome.
 Methodology: The research uses a Classroom Action Research method with two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection stages. The research subjects are 20 students in class IV Elementary School in Bengkulu. The data collection technique is a test.
 Main Findings: The research data shows that the Problem Based Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class IV elementary school students in Bengkulu. The completeness of learning outcomes increases from 3% in the pre-cycle to 65% in the first cycle and 85% in the second cycle, exceeding the expected outcome of 75%.
 Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty in this research is the application of the Problem Based Learning model in the science learning subjects of class IV elementary school students in Bengkulu, which have different characteristics and needs from other students in other regions or countries. The research also contributes to the development of the Classroom Action Research method, which involves the active participation of the teacher and the students in the learning process and the improvement of the learning quality. The research has implications for the improvement of the science curriculum and the teacher training program in Bengkulu.

Wordwall : Media Pembelajaran Inovatif Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Dan Hasil Belajar Siswa SMP Negeri 06 Bandung Pada Materi SPLDV

Low student learning outcomes are influenced by several things, one of which is the learning media used. Innovation in the use of learning media is needed to improve student learning outcomes, especially in mathematics subjects. This makes researchers interested in conducting a wordwall games-based learning media experiment at SMP Negeri 06 Bandung. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using wordwall learning media on improving student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects. The research method used is quantitative experiment with one group pretest-postest model with the population of class IX students of SMP Negeri 06 Bandung. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling with the provision that students can access the browser as many as 18 students. Based on the N-Gain test, the average N-Gain value of 0.679056437 is included in the medium category and is quite effective. This shows that the use of Wordwall learning media has a significant impact on improving the mathematics learning outcomes of SMP Negeri 06 Bandung students.

Motivasi Belajar dan Lingkungan Keluarga Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas XI Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi

The research aims to analyze how learning motivation and family environment partially or simultaneously affect the learning outcomes of economic subjects for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Tanjunganom Nganjuk. The approach used is quantitative correlation with the subject, namely 144 children of the saturated sample technique. Data were obtained through questionnaires and tests. Data analysis is multiple linear regression. The results showed a significant influence of learning motivation and family environment, partially or simultaneously, on the learning outcomes of economic subjects in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Tanjunganom Nganjuk.

Pengaruh Pembelajaran diluar Kelas (Outdoor Study) Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas IV A SDN Paccinongan Unggulan

This research aims to determine outdoor study on student learning outcomes in Natural Sciences subjects at SDN Paccinongan Unggulan. With the research problem "Is there an influence of outdoor study on the science learning outcomes of Class IV A students at SDN Paccinongan Unggulan?" The method used in this research is an experimental method in the form of pretest posttest control group design. The sample in this study was class IV A students of SDN Paccinongan Unggulan. Data collection techniques use direct observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is a test/T-test data analysis technique where the collected data will be processed and analyzed using a normality test using SPSS version 22.
 The results of this research show that learning that applies outdoor learning has an effect on student learning outcomes in Natural Sciences (Science) subjects. In collecting data, research uses observation, documentation and test techniques. The results of this research show that there is an influence of outdoor study in learning natural sciences. This is proven in the t-test table (Independent Sample Test) with a significance value of 0.54 < 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted or tcount > ttable (26,610 > 2,056).

PENGARUH MEDIA POWERPOINT TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in SD Negeri 3 Bumi Waras due to the fact that the educators have not provided creative and innovative learning media in the learning process, resulting in students' lack of active engagement in learning. This study aims to determine the influence of using PowerPoint media on the learning outcomes of thematic subjects among students. The research method used is quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study consists of 76 students in the fourth grade. The research sample consists of 50 students selected using purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques employed are observation, document analysis, and tests. The data analysis involves simple linear regression. The results of this research indicates that there is an influence of PowerPoint media on the learning outcomes of students in the fourth grade thematic subjects at SD Negeri 3 Bumi Waras in the academic year 2022/2023.

Assessing Content Assimilation in Health Research Methodology: A Comparative Study of Lecture and Flipped Classroom Instruction

Virtual education has evolved significantly, driven by the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) resources, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Health Sciences, with their practical components, present unique challenges in virtual education, including maintaining student engagement. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of the flipped learning methodology with and without in-class content reinforcement in a virtual classroom for previously assimilated materials within Health Sciences. The study involved students in a Kinesiology program using the Blackboard Learn platform. Two groups were established: one completing a questionnaire at the beginning of the virtual class (FLI group) and the other at the end following a content reinforcement session (FLI+TRA group). While no statistically significant score differences were found between the two groups, the FLI+TRA group showed higher pass rates and improved average scores, indicating practical benefits. These results suggest that combining flipped learning with traditional in-class instruction can enhance content assimilation in virtual education, fostering increased student engagement and participation. However, further research is needed to explore the full implications and adaptability of this approach. In conclusion, this study highlights the potential of the FLI+TRA approach to improve learning outcomes in complex subjects like Epistemology and Research Methodology within Health Sciences. As virtual education continues to evolve, educators should consider this hybrid teaching model as a valuable tool to provide a more holistic and effective learning experience.

The Effectiveness of Tonglish Application in English Language Learning for Elementary School Students

English language learning in primary schools has an important role in forming the basis of foreign language skills for students, and early mastery of English is considered a worthwhile educational investment for the future. However, challenges in English learning at the primary school level are often related to low student motivation, conventional teaching methods, and limited teaching resources. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Tonglish application in English language learning in elementary schools. The app is designed to improve students’ English skills through interactive features such as vocabulary quizzes and learning videos. This research uses quantitative experimental method with a True Experimental Design, namely Pretest-Post-test Control Group Design. Two groups of students from grade 5 of SD Muhammadiyah Ambarketawang 2 were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group used the Tonglish app for two meetings, while the control group did not use the app. Data were collected through a pretest and post-test consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions on? The results showed that there was a significant difference between the English scores of students who studied using the Tonglish application compared to those who did not. The average score of students who used the Tonglish app was 84.40, while students who did not use the app were 51.40. What about the statistical result showing the significance of the implemented app?; Then there should be hypothesis testing? The use of the English app significantly improves elementary school students’ learning outcomes in English subject.

Pengaruh gaya belajar dan belajar matematika realistis terhadap hasil belajar Siswa kelas V SDN 11 Lubuk Buaya Padang

This research was conducted because researchers wanted to know the influence of learning styles and the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model on student learning outcomes in fifth grade elementary school mathematics subjects. This research method is quantitative and is a type of Non Equivalent Pre-Test and Post-Test Control Group Design. The research sample for the experimental class was all class V students at SD Negeri 11 Lubuk Buaya, totaling 27 students and the control class was all class V students at SD Negeri 11 Lubuk Buaya, totaling 27 students. The data collection technique is in the form of 20 multiple choice test questions. The Independent Sample T-Test serves to test the hypothesis obtained by Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the results, it shows that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that the application of the Realistic Mathematics Education learning style and learning model has an influence and the learning outcomes of class V students at SD Negeri 11 Lubuk Buaya Padang increase. It is known that the experimental class obtained an average pretest result of 65.25 and the control class pretest average was 65. Meanwhile, the posttest average of the experimental class was higher than the control class, namely 84 > 72.5.

Evaluation of the implementation of machine learning algorithm K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) using rapid miner on junior high school student learning outcomes

The focus of the PISA 2022 assessment is on the subjects of Mathematics, Language and Science. Therefore, these subjects are compulsory subjects at every level of education. Because learning activities are the most important activities, the success of a learning activity is measured by the learning outcomes that have reached completeness or failed. Prediction of completeness or failure can be done by classifying data using the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm using the RapidMiner application. The KNN algorithm is one of the classification methods for a set of data based on learning data that has been classified before. The data used are student learning outcomes in Mathematics, Indonesian Language and Science subjects at the junior high school education level in Padang city. This research aims to predict student learning outcomes in Mathematics, Indonesian and Science subjects based on student score completeness by comparing various k values to obtain the best performance of this algorithm. The results obtained after analyzing the KNN algorithm are Classification using the KNN algorithm is most accurate when the value of k = 5 and k = 7. Where by using the value of k, the accuracy of the KNN algorithm reaches the maximum result of 94.12%. Thus, this algorithm can help teachers to predict or find out how appropriate student completeness.

Pengaruh Media Pembelajaran Animasi Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Kelas IV SD N 1 Poncowati Kecamatan Terbanggi Besar Kabupaten Lampung Tengah

Learning media is an information medium for teaching and learning activities so that it can provide effectiveness and interactivity in learning. The research objective in writing this is to determine the effect of animated media on student learning outcomes in science subjects for fourth grade students at SDN 1 Poncowati, Terbanggi Besar District, Central Lampung Regency. This study uses a type of quantitative research. With a quasi-experimental approach. The population in this study were all students of class IV B and class IV C of SDN 1 Poncowati, Terbanggi Besar District, Central Lampung Regency. The instruments used are test and non-test. using independent simple t-test hypothesis testing. This data collection technique uses observation, test and documentation methods. The results of this study indicate that the value of learning outcomes obtained after applying animation media to the experimental class has increased compared to the class that was not given treatment, namely animation media. This can be seen from the mean or average value of the experimental class, namely 79.93 with 96.6% completeness. And there is a significant influence between Animation Media on student learning outcomes. In this study researchers. This assessment results in a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.014 <0.05, which means 0.014 is smaller than 0.05. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is an influence of animation media on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD N 1 Poncowati, Terbanggi Besar District, Central Lampung Regency.

Penerapan Model Talking Stick Berbantuan Media Gambar pada Pembelajaran PPKN

This research aims to determine the completeness of learning outcomes for PPKN subjects in class V of SDN 1 Terawas after treatment by implementing the Talking Stick Model Assisted by Image Media. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research design of one group pretest-posttest. The research showed that the average post-test result was 85.2 with a completion percentage of 86.7% (13 students), while for students who did not complete it was 13.3% (2 students). The results of the data analysis show that Zcount ≥ Ztable is 3.30 ≥ 1.64. The conclusion is that the PPKN learning outcomes of class V students of SDN 1 Terawas after implementing the Talking Stick learning model assisted by picture media are significantly significant. Teaching mode in the PRE-COVID, COVID-19, and POST-COVID periods and students’ learning outcomes on the example of Accounting study program

Main research aim is assessing whether the mode of conducting classes (traditional/distance) affects the differentiation in the obtained subject grades in the period preceding distance teaching (PRE-COVID), during the pandemic (COVID-19), with distance teaching, and after its end (POST-COVID). This study was conducted on the example of the subject "Accounting" taught at the University of Economics in Katowice. The grades of 278 students in the “Accounting” course were analyzed. To verify the hypothesis of this study, indicating the lack of differentiation of students’ grades depending on the mode of study (traditional/distance), it was necessary to assign the obtained grades to three distinguished research subperiods. The significance of variance in the grades of “Accounting” course students in individual sub-periods was calculated based on the one-way ANOVA analysis of variance. The conducted research allowed us to confirm the existence of a relationship between the adopted teaching formula (traditional and distance) and the grades (outcomes) of students. Based on the analyses carried out, it is necessary to reject the initial hypothesis about the lack of dependence between the mode of teaching in the PRE-COVID, COVID-19, and POST-COVID subperiods and the student’s learning outcomes in the introductory subject to accounting. The unique value of this study lies in the analysis of three consecutive comparative periods, in which traditional teaching, e-learning, and return to traditional education took place. This allows to set trends in the observed phenomena and make specific forecasts.
