IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROJECT BASED LEARINING (PJBL) BERBASIS VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR SISWA

The rapid advancement of technology forces every individual to face increasingly complex challenges. This also has an impact on the world of education, where the ability of learners is developed along with the times. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence and difference in student learning interest using a project-based learning model (PJBL) with the help of interactive learning videos in video editing subjects. The research method used is a pseudo-experimental design with a quantitative approach, and data collection is done through a questionnaire given to 66 grade X students at SMK Darus Syifa in Cilegon city. The results showed that the application of the project-based learning model influenced student interest in learning, and there were differences in the increase in the average percentage of questionnaire scores, where the control class had an average score of 53.26% while the experimental class reached 60.69%. This research is expected to be a learning model in basic video editing subjects and provide benefits for teachers, students, and future researchers.

The Effect of Game-Based Learning on Improving the Basic English Speaking and Listening Ability of Children Aged 5-6 at Golden Cradle Kindergarten in High-Tech Zone of Nanchang, Jiangxi

Background and Aims: English language proficiency is increasingly becoming a vital skill in today's globalized world. As countries strive to enhance their competitiveness on the international stage, the ability to communicate effectively in English has become a critical aspect of education, particularly during early childhood development. Early exposure to English language learning has been shown to yield significant benefits, leading to increased linguistic abilities and intercultural understanding. Consequently, the implementation of effective language learning strategies during early childhood education becomes paramount. The purposes of this study were: 1) to compare the basic English listening ability of children aged 5–6 after using game-based learning activities to that before learning, 2) to compare the basic English-speaking ability of children aged 5–6 after using the game-based learning activities with that before learning. And 3) to study the children’s interest in the game-based learning activities. Methodology: The study, conducted at Golden Cradle Kindergarten in Nanchang City, evaluated the impact of a game-based teaching method on the English listening and speaking skills of 35 children aged 5-6 over one month. Initial and final assessments recorded in Excel showed significant improvements in both skills and increased learning interest. The data analysis includes percentages, means, standard deviation, and paired t-tests. Results: Results showed that the English listening ability of students was significantly higher than before they learned, indicating that the game teaching method can improve the English listening ability of children aged 5–6 years old, students had English-speaking ability was significantly higher than before they learned, indicating that the game teaching method can improve the English-speaking ability of 5–6-year-old children and the learning interest of students was significantly higher than before they learned. Conclude: Children between the ages of five and six have demonstrated a significant improvement in their English listening skills after using the game teaching method; their ability was significantly better than before. Additionally, it improves their ability to speak English, with a discernible increase observed following the application of the game-based learning approach. Additionally, this approach makes the kids more engaged and motivated than they were before by piquing their curiosity in learning.

Design an Electrical Power Practical Module in the Introductory Electrical Energy Course

The introductory electrical energy course is one of the courses that applies learning using practical methods. In the introductory electrical energy course, there is material about electrical power. Based on observations, it is known that students need more learning media in the form of modules in the electrical power practicum, which causes a lack of interest and low understanding of student learning. Based on these problems, a learning medium in the form of a practicum module was developed to complement practicum learning and is expected to increase students' interest in and understanding of learning. The electrical power practicum module was developed using research and development methods. The researcher's research instrument was a media expert and material expert validation sheet to test the feasibility of the practicum module to be applied in the Electrical Power Practicum. The validation results of media and material experts prove that the electrical power practicum module is very feasible regarding media and material. Based on the percentage of scores obtained from media experts, namely 81.66%, material experts obtained a score of 88.57%, which is included in the very suitable category to be applied in the Basic Electrical Energy course.

Development of Interactive Learning Media Using Android-based Google Sites to Increase Students' Interest in Learning

In this study, researchers found a problem: there is still a lack of student interest in learning mathematics due to the media provided, which is less innovative and interactive, so students feel bored. Therefore, this research aims to (1) develop interactive learning media using Google Sites based on Android to increase student learning interest in Flat Buildings material grade VII SMP / MTs, (2) test the feasibility of the media, and (3) increase student learning interest. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). The instruments used were expert validation, student response, learning interest, and pretest-posttest questionnaires. The results of this study obtained an average value from media experts of 92% with a very feasible category, while material experts obtained an average of 84% with a feasible category. The results of the N-Gain test obtained an average value of 82%, and the results of the student interest questionnaire of 76.62%. These results show that Android-based Google Sites learning media effectively increases student interest in learning. It can be concluded that interactive learning media using Android-based Google Sites is feasible and effective in increasing student interest in learning.

PERAN GURU AGAMA HINDU DALAM MENUMBUHKAN MINAT BELAJAR BIDANG STUDI PENDIDIKAN AGAMA HINDU DI SMP NEGERI I PERMATA KECUBUNG

The purpose of this study is to find out the aspects that cause the lack of interest in learning of grade 9 students in the field of Hindu Religious Education at SMP Negeri I Permata Kekubung. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of many students who are often absent for various reasons that cannot be accounted for, ignoring the tasks given by teachers, low interest in reading and most of the students are passive in the teaching and learning process. This research is a case study research. The approach used in this study is qualitative. Data sources are obtained through observation, structured interviews, and documentation. In order to obtain data validity, the data source triangulation method is applied. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the aspects that caused the lack of interest in learning of students were internal aspects consisting of: students' ideals and low understanding of concepts in the field of Hindu Religious Education study, external aspects consisting of family economic status, the absence of support from parents that can support the improvement of students' religious knowledge, the lack of parental knowledge of Hindu teachings, and the state of the environment that does not reflect as a religious society. The results of the study also show that the teacher concerned has played a role in fostering the learning interest of grade 9 students in the field of Hindu Religious Education. Hindu Religious Education teachers can use the findings of this study as a guideline to make efforts to improve learning.

A Pilot Project to Promote Research Competency in Medical Students Through Journal Clubs: Mixed Methods Study.

Undergraduate medical students often lack hands-on research experience and fundamental scientific research skills, limiting their exposure to the practical aspects of scientific investigation. The Cerrahpasa Neuroscience Society introduced a program to address this deficiency and facilitate student-led research. The primary goal of this initiative was to enhance medical students' research output by enabling them to generate and publish peer-reviewed papers within the framework of this pilot project. The project aimed to provide an accessible, global model for research training through structured journal clubs, mentorship from experienced peers, and resource access. In January 2022, a total of 30 volunteer students from various Turkish medical schools participated in this course-based undergraduate research experience program. Students self-organized into 2 groups according to their preferred study type: original research or systematic review. Two final-year students with prior research experience led the project, developing training modules using selected materials. The project was implemented entirely online, with participants completing training modules before using their newly acquired theoretical knowledge to perform assigned tasks. Based on student feedback, the project timeline was adjusted to allow for greater flexibility in meeting deadlines. Despite these adjustments, participants successfully completed their tasks, applying the theoretical knowledge they had gained to their respective assignments. As of April 2024, the initiative has culminated in 3 published papers and 3 more under peer review. The project has also seen an increase in student interest in further involvement and self-paced learning. This initiative leverages globally accessible resources for research training, effectively fostering research competency among participants. It has successfully demonstrated the potential for undergraduates to contribute to medical research output and paved the way for a self-sustaining, student-led research program. Despite some logistical challenges, the project provided valuable insights for future implementations, showcasing the potential for students to engage in meaningful, publishable research.

Analysis of Student Learning Difficulties in Integrated Social Studies Subjects in Class VIII

The main problem in this study is the low understanding of class VIII UPTD SMP Neger 1 Gunungsitoli students related to Integrated Social Studies subjects. Learning difficulties have an impact on the activities of students in the classroom who tend to be passive and do not play an active role. The purpose of this study was to determine learning difficulties in social studies learning in students at UPTD SMPN 1 Gunungsitoli Utara. In this study researchers used qualitative research methods. The results of the research conducted, it is known that the factors that influence students' learning difficulties include internal and external factors. Internal factors include the minimal interest in learning of students and the low level of learning ability of students so that it affects low learning outcomes, as well as external factors which include lack of attention from parents and the way teachers teach that has not hit students. It can be concluded that students have difficulty learning social studies, caused by external and internal factors.

Application of Wordwall Media to increase learning motivation in learning the History of Colonialism and Imperialism in class XI-6 SMA Negeri 5 Medan

This research aims to increase student motivation in studying in class XI-6 students at SMA Negeri 5 Medan in studying the history of colonialism and imperialism through the use of the Wordwall web media. The classroom action research method was applied in three stages. The research results showed a significant increase in students' learning motivation after using Wordwall. In the second stage, student learning motivation reached 81%, an increase from 50% in the initial stage. These findings indicate that Wordwall has the potential to be an effective tool for increasing student interest and engagement in history learning.

Application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model Assisted by Canva Media to Increase Interest in History Subjects for Class X.9 SMA Negeri 5 Medan

This research aims to increase students' interest in learning in the subject of History by implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by Canva media. The research was conducted in class X.9 of SMA Negeri 5 Medan. The method used is classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and student learning interest questionnaires. The research results show that the application of the PBL learning model assisted by Canva media is able to increase students' interest in learning significantly. Using Canva media in the learning process makes the material more interesting and easy to understand, so that students are more actively involved in learning. This research suggests implementing the PBL learning model with the support of digital media such as Canva as an effective strategy in increasing students' interest in learning, especially in History subjects.

Study of Wordwall Web Based Learning Media to Increase Student Learning Interest in Science Learning

This research aims to find out the study implementation of Wordwall web-based learning media to increase student learning interest in Natural and Social Science (IPAS) learning. This research is qualitative descriptive research, and did not aim to test a learning model by providing a certain stimulus, but to provide an in-depth description of changes in student interest in learning when obtaining web-based media in the students’ learning process. This research was conducted in SDN 08 Wanarejan which is located at St. Kerinci Taman, Rt 3/RW 3, Wanarejan, Taman, South Wanarejan, Wanarejan Sel. There are several kinds of games in Wordwall-based learning media that can be implemented. The implementation can be adjusted to the situation and conditions as well as the facilities and infrastructure of both schools and teachers and students personally as a form of flexibility in learning time.

Pengaruh Penggunaan Gadget dan Self Regulated Learning terhadap Minat Belajar pada Mata Kuliah Web Design Mahasiswa Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran

This study aims to investigate the influence of gadget use and self-regulated learning on the learning interest of students majoring in Office Administration Education who take Web Design courses. Through a quantitative approach, data was collected from odd semester students in the 2023/2024 academic year using a validated questionnaire. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that gadget use and self-regulated learning significantly affect learning interest, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.65, which means 65% of the variation in learning interest can be explained by these two variables. Hypothesis testing showed an F-statistic value of 24.56 (df = 2, sig < 0.01), confirming a significant influence between the independent variables and study interest. The results of this study indicate that gadget usage and self-regulated learning have a significant positive influence on the learning interest of students majoring in office administration majoring in web design.

Blended Teaching Design of Hotel Customer Management based on Xuexi Tong

This paper explores the innovative application of a blended teaching mode for the core hotel management course, "Hotel Customer Management" (HCM), utilizing the Xuexi Tong learning platform. This study analyzes the platform's advantages for student learning and propose a comprehensive teaching design that has been implemented and evaluated using qualitative research methods. The results demonstrate that the Xuexi Tong-based blended teaching mode effectively stimulates student learning interest, fosters initiative, promotes deep learning, and cultivates practical abilities. This paper details the teaching design content, implementation process, and evaluation methods, offering valuable insights for promoting and applying blended teaching approaches in hotel management education.

Wordwall Application in Improving Numeracy Ability SDN RENDA

Education plays a crucial role in developing individual potential and enhancing quality of life, with numeracy skills being a key aspect of this process. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using the Wordwall application in mathematics learning to improve numeracy skills among students at SDN Renda. A qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design was employed. Data were collected through observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. The results indicate that the use of Wordwall significantly increased student engagement and motivation, with an average posttest score improvement of 20.4 points compared to the pretest. The application offers various quiz and game templates that make learning more interactive and engaging. However, challenges related to technology access limited the full implementation of the application. The discussion highlights that Wordwall is effective in enhancing mathematics understanding and numeracy skills, as well as increasing student interest in learning. In conclusion, Wordwall is a highly beneficial tool in mathematics education, and schools should provide technological support and training for teachers to maximize its benefits. The study recommends broader implementation of the Wordwall application to improve the quality of mathematics education in elementary schools.

The Impact of Using Quizizz as a Learning Media on Learning Interest of Computer Education Students

In this case, this research aims to determine the effect of using Quizizz as a learning media on the learning interest of Computer Education Students in the Linear Algebra course. The research method uses quantitative experiments. The research design used One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects of this research were 38 consisting of 4th Semester Students of the Department of Computer Education, Dehasen University, Bengkulu. The instrument used 20 items questionnaire, the data analysis techniques used normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. The results of the pretest and posttest questionnaires were 40% and 85% indicating an increase in student learning interest. The results of research using paired sample testing show that the asym sig. (2-laid) of 0.000 < 0.05 where t-count is greater than t-table 24.220 > 2.037 so that H_O is rejected and H_a is accepted. It can be concluded that the use of Quizizz as a learning media (X) has a significant effect on the learning interest of computer education students at Dehasen University, Bengkulu.

Enhancing Learning Interest in the Collaborative Learning Practitioner Lecture: Training on Determining the Viscosity of Palm Kernel Oil (PKO)

This study aims to determine the effects in physical chemistry class with the workshop sessions on measuring PKO viscosity by CV. Bina Agro Mandiri. The effects are evaluated through the enhancing of student's learning interest in the Physical Chemistry II class in Chemistry Program of the Islamic University of Indonesia, which presents a good avenue for this investigation. The study was conducted by classroom, practical and online action. The data were analyzed using a pie chart. Findings showed that the implementation of the practical was able to increase the student's learning interests. Through case analysis tasks, students participate significantly in the teaching-learning process.

Implementasi Pembelajaran Kitab Ta’zimul Ilmi dalam Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Mahasantri Ma’had Aly Jajar Surakarta

The blessing of knowledge begins with the interest of a student. The greater the interest, the greater the attention to the manners of seeking knowledge. The Ta'zimul Ilmi book is a book that discusses 20 manners in seeking knowledge and is accompanied by examples of the interests, enthusiasm, and manners of previous scholars. Learning the Ta'zimul Ilmi book at Ma'had Aly Jajar Surakarta is the Ma'had's way of increasing the interest of its students in learning. This study aims to determine the extent to which the implementation of learning the Ta'zimul Ilmi book has increased the interest of students in learning. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research approach. This study was located at Ma'had Aly Jajar Surakarta. The main data sources were the principal, teachers, and students. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The researcher used triangulation to check the validity of the data. The research data collected were then analyzed using data analysis techniques, namely, data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. After being observed and researched, it was found that learning with the book could boost the interest of students in learning. In fact, this learning can provide students with a deep understanding of the importance of seeking knowledge and the manners in achieving it.

Increasing Student Interest in Learning through the Implementation of the K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm in Classifying Learning Preferences at SMAN 1 Kraksaan

This research examines the effectiveness of implementing the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm in classifying student learning preferences and its impact on increasing interest in learning at SMAN 1 Kraksaan. The main aim of the research is to optimize learning methods through personalization based on individual student preferences. The study involved 560 students of SMAN 1 Kraksaan, with data including variables of age, gender, academic grades, daily study time, attendance and participation in class. The KNN algorithm is used to classify students' learning preferences into visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and reading/writing categories. The learning method is then adjusted based on the results of this classification. The results show that the KNN algorithm is able to classify student learning preferences with an accuracy of 80.36%. After implementing personalized learning methods, there was a significant increase in students' interest in learning, with an average increase of 1.76 points on a 10-point scale. Paired t-test analysis showed a statistically significant difference between interest in learning before and after intervention (p < 0.0001). This research concludes that the implementation of the KNN algorithm in classifying learning preferences can help increase students' interest in learning effectively. These findings emphasize the importance of personalization in education and demonstrate the potential of integrating machine learning in the pedagogical process to improve learning outcomes.

The Effect of Three-Dimensional Media and Learning Interest to Improve Learning Outcomes of Environmental Appearance Material Reviewed from the Learning Styles of Grade IV Students of State Elementary School 2 Ketanon Tulungagung

Three-dimensional media is a suitable media used in accordance with the level of development of children aged 7-10 years, a period where children think concretely in accordance with reality. Three-dimensional media can be used in learning so that student interest in learning can increase and have an impact on student learning outcomes. In terms of student learning styles, three-dimensional media can contribute to improving student learning outcomes. The research approach taken is a quantitative research approach using the analysis that will be used to test this hypothesis is path analysis to regularly measure the effect of three-dimensional media and learning interest to improve learning outcomes in terms of student learning styles, especially in understanding the material of Indonesia's natural appearance. Path analysis research is a technique for analyzing the causal relationship that occurs if the independent variable affects the dependent variable not directly, but also indirectly. The results of the study state that: (1) Three-dimensional media has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes as evidenced by the sig value of 0.857 which is greater than 0.05 (2) Learning Interest has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes as evidenced by the sig value of 0.599 which is greater than 0.05 (3) Three-dimensional media has a positive and significant effect on student learning styles as evidenced by the sig value of 0.082 which is greater than 0.05 (5 ) Learning interests have a positive and significant effect on student learning styles as evidenced by the sig value of 0.206 which is greater than 0.05 (5) Student learning styles can improve learning outcomes as evidenced by the sig value of 0.322 which is greater than 0.05. Upaya meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta didik dan Sikap Gotong Royong Dengan Metode Problem Basic Learning (PBL) Berbantuan Audio Visual Pada Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik dan Budi Pekerti di kelas VII Fase D SMP N 2 Doloksanggul

This research aims to improve learning outcomes for Catholic students in class VII of SMP N 2 Doloksanggul by using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by audio-visual media which is applied in PaKat and BP learning for the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in 2 cycles through 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection with different learning materials. The subjects of this research were 15 students in class VII of SMP N 2 Doloksanggul who were Catholic. The indicators of success in this research are based on increasing learning outcomes in cognitive, affective and psychomotor and social aspects. Data collection techniques using observation and assessment of student learning outcomes. Data analysis techniques with formulas to determine average values and percentages. The research results showed that the average student interest in learning in cycle I was 72% in the proficient category and experienced an increase in cycle II, namely 78% in the proficient category. The overall average percentage of interest in learning has reached more than 90%, so the researchers state that this research has achieved success. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Audio Visual media can increase students' interest in learning.

Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa pada Pelajaran Agama Katolik dan Budi Pekerti dengan Model PjBL Fase D Kelas VII SMPK Santo Yusup Banyuwangi

This Classroom Action Research aims to increase the learning interest of 7th-grade students at SMPK Santo Yusup Banyuwangi in the subject of Catholic Religious Education and Character through the Project Based Learning (PjBL) phase D model. The main issue faced by 7th-grade students at SMPK Santo Yusup is their low interest in learning, which has negatively affected their academic performance and decreased their motivation to participate in learning activities. This study uses the classroom action research method with two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through direct observations, student interest questionnaires, performance evaluations, and tests. The results of the research show that PjBL phase D can significantly improve students' interest in learning. In the first cycle, student interest increased, although many challenges were encountered in implementing the method. In the second cycle, after addressing the issues and challenges, student interest increased significantly without further problems. The conclusion of this research is that the use of the PjBL phase D model is effective in improving students' interest in the subject of Catholic Religious Education and Character. Therefore, this model can be considered an alternative teaching method to address the issue of low student interest.
