PERBANDINGAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA ANTARA MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION DAN STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION

The purpose of this research is to find out the difference between the result of student learning which taught by cooperative learning Group Investigation type and Student Teams Achievement Division type on polyhedron in the class VIII of Junior High School 4 Bengkulu City. This research is quasy experiment research with population in this research is the student in class VIII of Junior High School 4 Bengkulu City. The sample in this research is get from cluster sampling, so the experiment class (VIII4) are 35 students by using Group Investigation an control class (VIII5) are 34 students by using Student Teams Achievement Division. Based on data analysis by using t test is get tcount=0,02 and ttabel with ? = 0,05, df = 66 get ttabel = 2,00, so tcount is placed between -2,00 ? tcount ? 2,00. This matter, H0 accepted which means there is no significant differences between the result of student learning between cooperative learning Group Investigation type and Student Teams Achievement Division type in class VIII of Junior High School 4 Bengkulu City.Keyword:result of student learning, GI, and STAD

Group Investigation Learning Implementation and EAOAT-Based Assessement on Profession Education Subject

ABSTRACT: Profession Education subject has wide coverage lecture material and tend to be regarded as a theoretical matter. Profession Education conventionally, students will only examine theoretically and less meets the subject goals. Evaluation shows that it needs improvement efforts from material aspects, strategies, and assessment systems in Profession Education lectures. The study focused on the description of the implementation and effect of GI in Professions Education subject, a description of EOOAT-based assessment implementation. Subjects of this study were students of Chemical Education Islamic University of Indonesia who took Profession Education subject in the academic year 2016/2017. Lectures conducted with the collaboration of lecturers and expert lecturers from National University of Malaysia. The research instruments include course outline, lecture events unit, hand outs, diagnostic tests, project assessment, cognitive assessment, self-assessment, student satisfaction questionnaires, and expert lecturer’s assessment questionnaire. Lectures conducted in accordance with the stages in the GI, namely: identification of topics, planning investigations, execution of investigations, preparation of the final report, presentation of the final report, an evaluation of progress. Oriented learning outcomes should ideally use a rating system that can give a continuous process and performance. With EOOAT-based assessment, teachers can determine the difficulties and competencies that have not reached by the students. Lecturers can further specify corrective measures in learning to allow students to achieve competence expected. Data research shows that GI learning and EOOAT-based learning has a positive impact. The final grade point average of students was 79.2. The average score of student satisfaction was 92.5. The expert lecturer’s assessment scores were 95.8. From self assessment showed that students understand the lecture material and the interest in the teacher profession was increased after the lecture.

STUDENT' CRITICAL THINKING PROFILE THROUGH MODEL OF GROUP INVESTIGATION LEARNING (GI) ON MOTION SYSTEM CONCEPT

This research aims to determine student’s critical thinking ability profile through Group Investigation (GI) learning model on the biological motion systems concept at SMAN 7 Kota Serang. This research used a descriptive method. The population in this research were students of class XI IPA at SMAN 7 Kota Serang and sample were class XI IPA 1 which taken by simple random sampling technique. The data was collected by using essay test to determine student’s critical thinking ability. The result showed that student’s critical thinking ability of SMA Negeri 7 Kota Serang classically include in very critical category as much as 85,20%. Distribution of students in each category of critical thinking ability is 58.82% categorized as critical, 35.29% are very critical, and 5.88% are quite critical.

EFEKTIVITAS PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS GROUP INVESTIGATION DAN DISCOVERY LEARNING DITINJAU DARI MINAT BELAJAR MAHASISWA

Appropriate learning models contribute to student learning interest in math. The purpose of this study is to describe the difference in effectiveness between scientific approach based on group investigation and discovery in terms of student's interest in learning. The research that is conducted is quasi experimental research and the design used is 2 x factorial description. In experimental class I that apply scientific approach model based on study group investigation obtained the average value of learning outcome of 66.60 while in the experimental class II applying the approach Science-based discovery learning obtained the average value of posttest of 76.28. Based on the marginal rate, the scientific approach to discovery-based learning on moderate interest in learning outcomes is higher than the learning outcomes at high and low interest. In the scientific approach based on group study investigation and discovery learning there are differences in average learning outcomes between high, medium and low interest. Scientific approach based on group investigation learning on higher interest in learning outcomes is higher than moderate and low interest.

The Influence of Group Investigation and Virtual Box Learning Media to Students’ Activeness.

This research aims to know whether the implementation of Group Investigation learning model and Virtual Box learning media can increase students activeness and learning achievement on the subject of operating system class X Multimedia (MM) SMK N 6 Surakarta. This research used classroom action research with two cycles, each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection of teaching and learning activities. The subject of this research is the students of class X MM1 SMK N 6 Surakarta which numbered 32 students. Data collection technique that used were interview, observation, documentation and test. Meanwhile analysis technique implemented through comparative analysis and descriptive qualitative. This class action research carried out from December 2015 until June 2016. The result of research shows that the implementation of Group Investigation learning model and Virtual Box learning media can increase students activeness and learning achievement on the operating system subject. This can be proved on the pre-cycle activities observation, the percentage of students activeness is 52,87%, after implementation of Group Investigation learning model and Virtual Box in the first cycle increased by 77,87%, then in the second cycle increased to 86,72%. While the result of students learning achievement also increased from the value of each cycle test. On pre-cycle the average learning achievement for cognitive domain 62,5%, affective 65,27%, and psychomotor 73,44%. The average of learning achievement increased for cognitive domain became 73,38%, affective 71,5%, and psychomotor 75% after the implementation of Group Investigation learning model and Virtual Box at the first cycle. At the second cycle increased for cognitive domain to 87,5%, affective 82,52%, and psychomotor 80,47%. Research conclusion that the implementation of Group Investigation learning model and Virtual Box learning media could increase the students activeness and learning achievement on the subject of operating system class X MM SMK N 6 Surakarta. PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN INVESTIGASI KELOMPOK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS DITINJAU DARI INTELLIGENCE QUOTIENT SISWA

This research aims to know the effect of group investigation learning on student’s science process skill based on their IQ in SMAN 1 Mataram for eleventh grade students. This is a quasi experimental study using pretest postest control group design design. Pretest was taken to get data of student’s IQ. Posttest was also conducted to measure student’s science process skill. Sample was taken using nonprobability sampling from the population of eleventh grade student in SMAN 1 Mataram.The sample was two group of student each from two class, class XI sains 6 and as experimental group and class XI sains 5 as control group. The average os Student’s IQ on experimental group and control group were equal, both at 112. Learning processes were 12 x 45 minutes long in total. The experimental group showed better average score on posttest where they scored 82.40 on average, while control group only scored 74.83 on average. This value is statistically significant, at p = 0.007, less that 0.005. This result shows that implementation of group investigation can increase student’s science process skill.Keywords: Group investigation, science process skill, intelligence Quotient (IQ)ABSTRACT

MODEL COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN PERAWATAN DAN PERBAIKAN SISTEM REFRIGERASI

This study aims to investigate the application of group investigation model in improving learning outcomes in maintenance and repair of refrigeration systems subjects. The research was conducted to students in SMK Negeri (State Vocational School) 1 Cimahi joining Refrigeration Engineering Program Class XI TP A 2009/2010. The research method used here is classroom action research with three research cycles. Each cycle consists of learning-teaching activity planning, implementation and reflection. The study, using N-Gain calculation, shows that this model improves the students’ learning outcomes. The largest percentage is on the third cycle, which is 48.55%, and falls into medium category. In addition to increasing learning outcome, the investigation group learning model also makes students more active in participating in the learning activities

Pengembangan Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation Media Vido Story Pokok Bahasan Keseimbangan Lingkungan Untuk Meningkatkan Berpikir Kritis Siswa

<p class="5abstrak">Tuban Regency is one of the areas that holds the potential of nature, this can be seen from the number of large factories established in Tuban Regency. The existence of this large factory causes changes in the surrounding environmental balance. Based on the results of observation of learning in SMA Muhammadiyah 03 Bancar class X on the subject of environmental balance is still conventional with the lecture method and discussion of this matter leads to less interesting and boring learning therefore there needs to be a development of learning models where students can engage in a social solution Namely the Group Investigation learning model (GI). The purpose of this research is to develop a model of learning by using the environment as a learning medium that is packaged in the form of video story to cultivate students' critical thinking skills. The students' critical thinking ability can be measured from aspects of identifying problems, interpreting, giving relevant ideas and drawing conclusions. This type of research is a research development, which is the development of a learning model that is very appropriate for the material of environmental balance class X semester even, the resulting draft then validated by two experts and one teacher as a user. The results showed the average validation of two experts and one user is 83.529% which indicates valid criteria and is worthy of use. From the results of small-scale test results amounted to 15 students who analyzed with the normalized gain obtained N gain> 0.7. These results indicate that there is a significant improvement in critical thinking of the students so that it can be concluded that the development of this learning model is very valid and feasible to be applied to improve critical thinking of the students.</p>

Effectiveness of Cooperative Learning (Theme: Limited Natural Resources) to Increase Intention to Save Energy in Students

Some of the natural disaster occurred caused by people using natural resources unwisely. Before analyzing about that behavior, first will be analyzed is behavioral intention. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning group investigation type with the theme of “limited natural resources” to improve intention to save energy. The study used an experimental design Post-test-Only Design With Equivalent Groups, involving 66 people, divided into two groups, each 33 in the experimental group and 33 control group. Process experiments were conducted in a way, dividing the experimental group in 5 small groups, having given the matter of limited natural resources, then each group discussion, and sharing ideas with other groups in the jigsaw. The results showed that there are differences in energy-saving behavior intention significantly between the experimental group (KE) and the control group (KK) with t value of 3.192 with 0.002 significance (p <0.05). Differences KE and KK with a positive t value indicates that the energy-saving behavior intention at KE has a higher value than the families who were not given the manipulation. In general score KE and KK if joined at the high category, but if sorted, KE scores at the high category and score KK in middle category.

The Correlation Between Critical Thinking and The Learning Results of The Senior High School Students in Biology Learning Implementing Group Investigation (GI) Learning in Malang, Indonesia

The students’ biology learning results may vary among student, caused by several variables affecting the students’ learning results, such as, learning style, critical thinking, metacognitive skills, learning models and some others. Many researches have investigated the correlation between critical thinking and students’ learning results. However, a research investigating the correlation between critical thinking and learning results in Group Investigation (GI) learning has not been conducted. This research aims at investigating the correlation between the critical thinking and the learning results of senior high school students in Biology learning implementing the Group Investigation (GI) learning in Malang. This research was conducted in 2015 from July until December, using correlational design. The population of this research was all senior high school students in Malang. The subjects of this research were 32 students of class X MIA 2, and 33 students of class X MIA 4 of St Mary senior high school Malang. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results of this research showed that there was a correlation between students’ critical thinking and their learning results with the regression equation of the correlation between the two variables Y = 0.988X + 0.095, having a reliability value of 73.9%.

Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation dan Motivasi Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kela VII SMP Dalam Pembelajaran IPA Terpadu Pada Materi Asam, Basa dan Garam

This research aimed to determine the effect of group investigation learning model and motivation on the students' learning result. The research employed a quasi experimental research with nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. The research used factorial design of 2x2. The population of this research was the first semester of seventh grade students. The sample used VII A and VII B class, samples were taken by using purposive sampling. The learning result data measured using of the tests and motivation data using of questionnaires. The data are analyzed using two-way(s) ANOVA. Test analysis showed that difference between post-test score of experiment class were higher than the control class. Based on the result, it can be concluded that: 1) the implementation of the group learning model investigation affect the students’ learning result, 2) motivation also influences the student learning result. 3) There is no interaction between the group investigation learning model and motivation on the students' learning achievement. Hasil Belajar Matematika dengan Strategi Discovery Learning dan Group Investigation Ditinjau dari Keaktifan Siswa SMP

The aim of observation is to analyses the effects of using learning strategies of investigation group and discovery learning base on the result of learning mathematic process, to analyses the effects of being active of students base on the result of learning mathematic process, to analyses of interaction between learning strategies of investigation group and discovery learning with being active on result of learning mathematic. The types base on scientific quantitative. Design of observation is quasi experimental. The technique of analysis data is using analysis variants two ways. Base on the result of observation, can conclude there are influence of strategies of group investigation and discovery learning for the result of learning mathematic with significant level 5%, to influence the level of being active in result of learning mathematic with significant level 5%, for the interaction between group investigation and discovery learning with significant level 5%.

Studi Komparasi Hasil Belajar Menggunakan Model Group Investigation dengan Model Picture And Picture Pada Mata Pelajaran Sains Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar

This study aims to determine the differences in the average results of learning science the subject matter of the structure and function of plants between students whose learning uses a group investigation learning model with a model of picture and picture. This research includes field research, with the method used is comparative causal. The population of this study were all fourth grade students of SDN 45/1 Sridadi in the first semester of the 2014/2015 academic year, consisting of IV-A classes with 25 students, IV-B classes with 24 students. So the total population was 47 participants student. Because the population is less than 100, the entire population is sampled, with class IV-A consisting of 25 students as experimental class B and class IV-B consisting of 24 students as experimental class A. Data is collected by documentation method and test. The collected data were analyzed using statistical analysis of test differences in the average experimental class 1 (group investigation) and experimental class 2 (picture and picture) with the analysis of the two-party t-test test. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: the average science learning outcomes in the subject matter of plant structure and function of IV-A class students with the group investigation model is 84.44, while the average mathematics learning outcomes of students studying with a model of picture and picture is 77.29.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Investigasi Kelompok berbantuan Perangkat Lunak Maple terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis

This study aims to determine the effect of mathematical problem solving ability of learners who follow the learning by using an instructional model of maple assisted software assisted, with learners who use, study group investigation model, as well as learners who follow the conventional learning model conducted by researchers on participants Students of class X SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Metro. This type of research is a quasi experimental research with posttest only control design design. Hypothesis test using a one-way anava test with unequal cells and obtained the conclusion that the model of group investigation learning is better than an instructional model of maple assisted software group and both models of learning is better than conventional learning model. Based on the results of analysis and discussion of research data obtained that there is an influence on the ability of solving mathematical problems among students in class applying group investigation model assisted maple software, students in class apply only group investigation learning model, and students whose class apply the conventional learning model on the principal Discussion of the matrix.

PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISTEM PENGAPIAN KONVENSIONAL

The aim of this research to determine the increase in activity and learning outcomes conventional ignition system by applying the learning model of Group Investigation (GI). The hypothesis in this research is application of Group Investigation (GI) learning model’s can increase the activity and learning outcomes conventional ignition system. The research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted collaboratively between teachers and researches. The subjects in this study is 20 students from class TKR of SMK, while the object of this research is the application of Group Investigation learning model’s (GI) to increase the activity and student learning outcomes in conventional ignition system subjects. The experiment was conducted with three (3) cycles. Data collection techniques using observation, testing and documentation. Data were analyzed using quantitative description of the statistical formula. Results of this research by applying the Group Investigation learning model’s (GI) showed the presence of increasing activity and learning outcomes conventional ignition system in every cycle. This is indicated by: 1. The increase of learning outcomes was showed by percentage of learning activity more than (≥) enough, before action only 25% increased by 22,4% into 47,4% after doing first cycles. When doing second cycles increased by 10,5% into 63,2% and third cycles increased by 10,5% into 73,7%. 2. Another increase was showed by learning outcomes of students who passed, from learning outcomes before action only 40% and after doing first cycles increased by 12,6% to 52,6%. Then second cycles increased by 8,5% into 61,1% and third cycles increased by 17,8% into 78,9%. From the above data it can be conclude by applying the learning model of Group Investigation (GI) on the subjects of conventional ignition system can increase the activity and learning outcomes, in line with the hypotesis of this action research

THE EFFECT OF KOOPERATIF LEARNING MODEL TYPE GROUP INVESTIGATION AND FIRST CONCEPT UNDERSTANDING TO SCIENCE PROCESS SKILL OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT

This study aims to: know the difference science process skills of students using cooperative learning model group investigation with direct instruction teaching model. This study is quasi exsperiment. The sample in this research was done by using cluster random sampling two classes. Instruments used in this research is understanding the concept of the initial test in the form of multiple-choice comprised of 10 questions and test science process skills in the form of 15 questions of multiple choice. From the results of this study concluded that: 1) there are differences in students' science process skills are taught using cooperative learning model group investigation, 2) there is a difference science process skills of students who have an understanding of the concept of high and low initial, 3) there is an interaction between the model of cooperative learning group investigation and understanding of the initial concept of the science process skills that students have a better learning model applied to students who have an understanding of the high initial concept.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah dan Group Investigation Terhadap Hasil Belajar dan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Pada Materi Sistem Pencernaan Makanan di SMA Negeri 1 Muara Batu Kabupaten Aceh Utara

This study was aimed to determine the effect of problem based learning and group investigation on: (1) learning outcomes; and (2) creative thinking ability of student in class XI of SMAN 1 Muara Batu. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design. Samples were selected using random cluster sampling technique and divided into experimental and control classes. Class XI IPA3 was applied problem-based learning model, class XI IPA1 was applied to the model group investigation, and class XI IPA2 was applied in the conventional learning (control). Multiple choices were used to measure learning outcomes, while tests of creative thinking skills in the form of essay questions. Data were analyzed using Analysis Covarian (Anacova) at significance level α = 0.05 and followed by Tukey's test with SPSS 21.0. The results showed that: (1) There was an effect of learning model to the learning outcomes of students (F = 14.183, P = 0.000). Students who were taught by problem-based learning model was significantly different from those of group investigation and conventional learning model; and (2) There was an effect of learning model to students creative thinking abilities (F = 12.030, P = 0.000). Students who were taught by problem-based learning model was not significantly different from the group investigation model but differed significantly with students who were taught by conventional learning model.

PENERAPAN SISTEM AMONG DENGAN GROUP INVESTIGATION UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA

The purpose of this research is to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes in mathematics through application of system among with cooperative learning Group Investigation (GI) in class VIII F SMP Negeri 1 Banguntapan. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycle. The subjects of this research is students of class VIII F SMP Negeri 1 Banguntapan totaling 27 students. Data collection techniques in this research uses observation, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The results showed that motivation and mathematics learning outcomes has increased. Based on the results of research,math teachers can implement application of system among with cooperative learning Group Investigation (GI) as a variation in mathematics learning model.

PENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN GROUP INVESTIGATION SISWA KELAS VII C SMP N 1 NGLIPAR GUNUNGKIDUL

The purpose of the study to describe the process of cooperative learning Group Investigation ( GI ) in order to increase motivation and learning mathematics class VII C SMP N 1 Nglipar Gunungkidul . This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted a minimum of two cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class VII C SMP N 1 Nglipar Gunungkidul totaling 32 students. The object of this study was motivation and learning outcomes of mathematics. The results showed that motivation and learning outcomes of mathematics has increased. Average percentage yield motivation questionnaire on pre cycle of 67.27 %, in the first cycle increased by 11.36 % to 78.64 %. In the second cycle increased by 6.57 % to 85.21 %. Initial ability to use the average value of the first half of the middle repeat is 59.84 with KKM attainment percentage of 13%. In the first cycle, the average increased 7.03 percentage points to 63.87 with KKM achievement by 53 %. In the second cycle an average increase of 6.22 percentage points to 73.09 with 63 % KKM achievement. Implementation of cooperative learning With group investigation model to improve learning Achievement of vocational school students in indonesia

The purpose of this research is to describe the application of group investigation learning model in improving learning achievement of vocational school students in Indonesia. This research used qualified approach and applied classroom action. Subjects were students of first year of Sales Skills Program Vocational School in Malang Indonesia. Data collection techniques used were: in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, literature studies and tests. Data analysis technique used interactive technique. The results showed that: learning model group investigation has been carried out properly and vocational students have better learning achievement. Investigation group learning model can improve learning achievement of vocational school students.
