Optimalisasi Biaya Transportasi Pendistribusian Pasir Menggunakan Model Transportasi Metode Steppingstone (Studi Kasus: Tangkahan Pasir Syawal)

Tangkahan Pasir Syawal is the largest mining or sand excavation business in Gunung Maria Hamlet, Janji Village, West Bilah District, Labuhanbatu Regency. This research aims to determine the optimization of transportation costs in sand distribution. To obtain the objectives of this research, data collection was carried out through direct interviews, while data analysis used the Vogel's Approximation Method (VAM) to determine the initial solution and to determine the optimal solution using the Stepping Stone method. From the research results, an initial solution of Rp. 6.310.000 and the optimal solution is Rp. 6.310.000. Meanwhile, transportation costs from Tangkahan Pasir Syawal before optimization were carried out were Rp. 9.425.000. This shows that Tangkahan Pasir Syawal can optimize transportation costs for sand distribution in November 2023 with cost savings of Rp. 3.115.000 or 4%.

Government Strategy in Reducing Stunting Rate for the People of North Labuhanbatu Regency towards Zero Stunting

This problem is one of the problems that has an impact on the development and improvement of the younger generation. The absence of energy and protein in a long enough period of time will cause inhibition of growth and development in infants. This research aims to find out the strategies implemented by the North Labuhanbatu Regency government in the process of reducing stunting rates and how to overcome them. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Research data was obtained from interviews and observations. The data analysis carried out was taken from several stunting cases that have occurred and looked at the social situation and conditions in the field. The results of this research show that there are still many cases of stunting occurring in North Labuhanbatu Regency, especially among toddlers, pregnant women, postpartum and breastfeeding mothers, prospective brides, and grooms. The main causes of stunting are nutritional, health and environmental disorders. This has become the concern of the North Labuhanbatu Regency government in the process of targeting a reduction in the stunting rate towards zero stunting by 2024. Apart from that, the government will carry out eight convergence actions to reduce stunting in each district/city.

The Role of the Social Welfare Service in Community Empowerment in NA IX-X District, North Labuhanbatu Regency

The policy of the Labura District Government plays a crucial role in overseeing and facilitating development in the region. The area can effectively and sustainably manage its development when complemented by a well-crafted RPJM (Regional Medium-Term Development Plan) and efficient organizational roles. The purpose of this study is to elaborate on the contribution of the Social Welfare Office to the empowerment of district communities. North Labuhanbatu Regency, NA IX-X. Obstacles to this program are usually found in remote locations, which may make it difficult for the Social Welfare Office to help those in need and strengthen communities in the NA IX-X District of North Labuhanbatu Regency. Qualitative data analysis methods such as literature review, interviews, and observations were used in this research approach. The study's findings suggest that, in line with community empowerment theory, they will help facilitate community participation to increase resource capacity. However, due to poor coordination, the role of the Social Welfare Office as a stakeholder in community empowerment for poverty alleviation, including planning, data collection, and assistance, is not optimal in fulfilling its obligations. Data collection of Family Hope Program recipients needs to be corrected on target in all local governments.

Study of Soil Biological Properties in Producing Plants and Immature Plants of Oil Palm in Aek Nabara Utara Plantation PTPN III

The maintenance of soil fertility stability and soil health heavily relies on the biological properties of the soil. This study aims to investigate the biological properties of soil in immature plantations (TBM III) and mature plantations (TM 18) located in Aek Nabara Utara Plantation PTPN III, Bilah Hulu District, Labuhanbatu Regency. The research methodology employed survey and descriptive methods to analyze various parameters. The parameters measured in this study include C-Organic (%), Soil Respiration (mg/CO2), Total Microbes (CFU/ml), and Total Fungi (CFU/ml). The research findings indicate increased microbes, fungi, and respiration from immature plants (TBM III) to mature plants (TM 18). This increase can be attributed to environmental factors. Numerous ground cover plants at the research site facilitate the growth and reproduction of microbes and fungi. As the number of microbes and fungi increases, so does the respiration rate.

Study of Some Physical Properties of Soil in Immature Oil Palm Plant at Different Slopes

The physical properties of the soil will influence plant growth and development. This research aims to examine the physical properties of soil in various slope classes of oil palm plantations inPTPN III KebunAekNabara Utara, BilahHulu District, Labuhanbatu Regency. This research uses survey and descriptive methods by analyzing the parameters of the physical properties of the soil, namely:Bulk Density (g/cm3) Total Pore Space (%) Soil Structure, Soil Water Content (%), Soil Texture (%). The tools used are a Global Positioning System (GPS), sample ring, hoe, soil drill, penetrometer, oven, permeameter, dry sieve, wet sieve, and pressure plate apparatus. The materials used are soil samples and work maps. The research results show that several soil physical properties showBulk Density value 1.30 – 1.51 g/cm3, Total Pore Space 0.17-0.58%, water content 0.20-0.27%, while the texture is dominantly clayey, and the structure is dominantly angular blocky. The physical properties of soil require a long time to change, because the physical properties of soil are difficult to change.

Transformasi Pondok Pesantren Dar Al-Maarif Basilam Baru Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan Tahun 1992-2021

This research aims to determine the transformation of the Dar Al-Maarif Basilam Baru Islamic boarding school. The research used is a historical research method through heuristic stages of collecting historical sources by means of interviews and archives in the form of Islamic boarding school founding deeds, verification (criticism of data), interpretation and historiography. In this research, the author uses a historical approach. As for the theory, the author uses Aguste Comte's social theory. The aim of this research is to find out the history of the establishment of the Dar Al-Maarif Basilam Baru Islamic Boarding School, South Labuhanbatu Regency in 1992-2021 and the development of the Dar Al-Maarif Basilam Baru Islamic Boarding School in 1992-2021. The results of this research concluded that the New Dar Al-Maarif Basilam Islamic Boarding School was founded in 1992 by Sheikh Abdullah Efendi. Before the establishment of the Dar Al-Maarif Basilam Baru Islamic Boarding School, it was only a religious pilgrimage and study carried out for the people of Sosopan village and its surroundings. The Dar Al-Maarif Basilam Baru Islamic Boarding School has developed from various aspects which include the development of facilities and infrastructure, the development of students, the development of work programs. Developments in terms of prayer rooms used for student activities. The development of santri students, which was initially only dozens of santri, has now reached a thousand santri. Dar Al-Maarif Islamic Boarding School has progressed in its development due to several factors that influence it, namely the role of the founder of the Islamic boarding school, family, support from the surrounding community and the infrastructure it has. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the behavior of the students, management cadre formation, and the Islamic boarding school's financial resources.

EVALUASI KESESUAIAN LAHAN PERTANIAN UNTUK TANAMAN JAGUNG DI KECAMATAN KUALUH HILIR, LABUHAN BATU UTARA, SUMATERA UTARA

Land suitability is one method used to assess the suitability of a commodity to be cultivated sustainably on land. This research aimed to highlight the issue of agricultural land for maize in Kulah Hilir District, Labuhan Batu Regency, North Sumatra. The method used in this research is the matching evaluation method (weight factor match). The data used in this research is secondary data sourced from research data in the form of rice agricultural land suitability data with the title Evaluation of Land Suitability for Rice (Oryza sativa L.) in Kualuh Hilir District, Labuhanbatu Regency. North, North Sumatra. This research showed that the land suitability class of corn in Kualuh Hilir District, North Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra, using the weight factor matching method, is in class S2, "quite suitable" for planting corn plants. There are two limiting factors in land adjustment from rice plant data for corn plants; namely, the limiting factor for nutrient retention (nr) is only (base saturation (%)) and pH H2O with a land suitability level of "marginal suitability" S3 but improvements can be made to increase the class. The suitability of the land with the addition of organic materials and lime ameliorant materials with low to medium input can increase the potential suitability class of the land to S2.

Natural Growth Model of Amorphophallus gigas from Simandiangin Hamlet, Sungai Kanan District, North Sumatra

Amorphophallus gigas is a plant belonging to the Araceae family, including the tallest flower in the world. A. gigas was often found in North Sumatra, grows naturally under agroforestry stands. The aim of this research was to calculate the population of A. gigas and predict the population of A. gigas in the future assuming the habitat is not disturbed. This research was conducted in Simandiangin Hamlet, South Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra Indonesia. The method used is to count the number of A. gigas individuals in 1 hectare by census. From the research results, there were 92 Amorphopallus gigas individuals with various growth phases, 40 seedlings, 28 juveniles and 26 adults. The average seedling height is 7.52 cm, the average seedling diameter is 0.27 cm, the average number of leaves is 7, the average canopy width is 27.27 cm. The average height in the juvenile phase is 56.88 cm, the average diameter is 1.40 cm and the canopy width is 76.2 cm. The average height in the adult phase is 151 cm, diameter 5.36, number of leaves 132 and canopy width 199.08 cm.

Analisis Minat Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Aek Natas

The aim of this research is to identify students' learning interests in class X Biology at SMA Negeri 1 Aek Natas, Aek Natas District, North Labuhanbatu Regency. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach. The research strategy applied was to analyze students' interest in learning at SMA Negeri 1 Aek Natas. The method used in this research was a questionnaire given to 29 class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Aek Natas. The questionnaire is filled out via the Google Form Platform. There are four indicators that are measured in evaluating students' interest in learning Biology in class The results of the research show that students' interest in learning in class X SMA Negeri 1 Aek Natas is 53.6%. In detail, the percentage of student interest for the knowledge indicator was 62.05%, the activeness indicator was 55.7%, the attention indicator was 48.3%, and the interest indicator was 48.3%. This percentage was obtained by filling out a questionnaire distributed to students. Based on these results, it can be concluded that students' interest in learning Biology in class X SMA Negeri 1 Aek Natas can be categorized as moderate interest.

Analysis of Factors Influencing Palm Oil Farmers' Income of Production in the Labuhanbatu Regency

The research was conducted to determine the factors that affect the income of oil palm farmers in North Labuhanbatu Regency with production as the intervening variable. The income of oil palm farmers is the dependent variable, while land area, fertilizer costs, labor, and selling prices become independent variables and production as an intervening variable. The population in this study involved the people of North Labuhanbatu Regency consisting of eight sub-districts, with a total population of 20,861 oil palm farmers. The sample in this study amounted to 100 farmers. This type of research used primary and secondary data. The method used in this research was path analysis. It is the development of multiple regression analysis by describing the magnitude of the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable indirectly using IBM SPSS AMOS 22. The results of path analysis show that land area, fertilizer costs, and selling prices have an indirect and significant relationship to farmers' income through production, while indirect labor has no influence on farmers in production.

Swallow’s Nest (Collocalia Fuciphaga) Business Development Strategy

This study was carried out in the Rantau Utara District, located inside the Labuhan Batu Regency of the North Sumatra Province. The primary objective of this study is to ascertain and devise a comprehensive strategy for the growth and expansion of the Swallow’s Nest enterprise. The research employed a survey methodology, wherein the participants consisted of all businessmen operating in the Swallow’s Nest industry within the Rantau Utara District. The sampling technique employed in this study was purposive sampling. The research sample consists of 32 individuals who are businessmen associated with Swallow’s Nest. The utilization of SWOT analysis for data analysis. The findings indicated that the Swallow’s Nest enterprise occupied the initial quadrant of the SWOT analysis. The formulated strategy is aimed toward expansion. The objective of implementing this business plan is to enhance production, leverage contemporary technology, cultivate human resources, secure company licenses, capitalize on strategic locations, and uphold nest quality.

Analysis of Several Soil Physical Properties in the Third Generation of Oil Palm Plants at PT. Sinar Pandawa Labuhanbatu

The physical properties of the soil that need to be considered are the problems of degradation and soil structure due to management functions. In addition, on cultivated land that is not eroded, organic material is lost quickly.This research was carried out through 2 stages of activities, namely field activities and analysis activities. Stages of field activities were carried out at the Kebun Sinar Pandawa Palm Oil Plantation PT. Sinar Pandawa, Labuhanabtu, North Sumatra Province with a height of 28 meters. The method used in this research is a free grid measurement method at a semi-detailed survey level (observation frequency of 1 sample per 500 meters). Carrying out soil sampling at up to 5 sampling points with a distance of 100 meters in the field using a random method, spread over a predetermined area based on the base map. Land Use Research Results withSoil texture at PT. Sinar Pandawa, Labuhanbatu Regency, Sandy Clay, The Bulk Density value shows low, soil porosity is still high, the soil color looks relatively dark, and the soil water content is still relatively normal.

Penerapan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Terhadap Efektivitas Pengendalian Internal Kas Pada Usaha Peternak Ayam Broiler Di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan

This research aims to determine the application of accounting information systems to the effectiveness of cash internal control in broiler chicken farming businesses in South Labuhanbatu Regency and to determine the effectiveness of cash internal control in broiler chicken farming businesses in South Labuhanbatu Regency which is running effectively. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The type of data used in this research is primary data and secondary data obtained from broiler chicken farming businesses in South Labuhanbatu Regency. Data collection techniques were carried out using documentation and interview techniques. The results of this research indicate that the application of the accounting information system to the effectiveness of internal cash control in broiler chicken farming businesses in South Labuhanbatu Regency is considered effective, however, there are still shortcomings in the system which still exist in some manual parts. The effectiveness of internal cash control does not fully use computers but there are still manual ones, and the obstacles experienced when recording financial reports in broiler chicken farming businesses in South Labuhanbatu Regency are that sometimes it is still difficult for outside parties to accept and understand because they do not fully use the system. accounting information.

Analysis of Scientific Literacy in Class IX Middle School Students of Rantau Utara Regency in Science Learning

Science literacy is a very important thing for students where with scientific literacy students can have an ability in writing and reading, as well as knowing the things they learn and can give conclusions in a lesson learned and can explain the phenomena around in this case science literacy is very important for everyone, This study aims to be able to know and see how Science Literacy Abilities in Class XI Students in Science Learning at North Rantau Junior High School, Labuhanbatu Regency, The method in the research used is descriptive qualitative. The sample in this study was 30 students and 4 teachers at North Rantau Junior High School, Labuhanbatu Regency. The data collection technique was carried out by giving questionnaires, observations and interviews. The results in the study showed that on the indicators of science literacy in class IX students of North Rantau Junior High School in science learning, namely 1). Insight Knowledge of science literacy obtained a value of 65.23% 2.) Implementation of the Science Literacy Process obtained a value of 53.99% 3.) Attitude in science literacy obtained a value of 61.24% 4.) Understanding and motivation in science literacy obtained a value of 42.15%.in this case that science literacy greatly supports learning for students and can improve student learning outcomes

Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Pada Materi Sistem Peredaran Darah

This study aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning (PBL) model on students' critical thinking skills in the subject of the human circulatory system in class XI IPA SMAN 1 Na IX-X Aek Kota Batu, Labuhan Batu Utara Regency. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach (Quasi experiment). The instrument used is a test in the form of a description of 12 questions that have been validated by experts. The sampling technique was carried out by cluster random sampling with a total sample of 60 students consisting of two classes of 120 research populations.The results of hypothesis testing using the Independent sample t test statistic show that there is a significant effect between the PBL model on improving students' critical thinking skills in the human circulatory system material in class IX SMA Negeri 1 Na IX-X Aek Kota Baru, North Labuhanbatu Regency.

Analysis of Financial Literacy on Community Investment Decisions (Study in Tanjung Medan Village, Labuhanbatu Regency)

This study aims to analyze the impact of financial knowledge on individual investment decisions. The tests focus on each indicator to determine which factors most influence individual investment decisions. This study involved 80 respondents residing in Tanjung Medan Village and were identified using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling design. This study is descriptive and quantitative with primary data collected using questionnaire techniques. The results of the study show that financial literacy indicators, specifically general financial knowledge, lending and saving, investing and risk management, have a positive and significant impact on decision-making. investment decisions, both partially and simultaneously, in which loan and savings indices have the dominant influence. Meanwhile, in the determination coefficient test, financial knowledge has an 89.70% influence on people's investment decisions, the rest is affected by other factors not considered in the study.

ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF KB FIELD OFFICERS' COMPETENCE AND WORK MOTIVATION IN SUPPORTING THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE POST DELIVERY KB PROGRAM AT THE PPKB SERVICE OF LABUHANBATU UTARA DISTRICT IN 2023

The prevalence of postpartum family planning services in low and middle-income countries is 8% in the first month, 25% at 6 months, and 30% in the first 12 months. Even so, the state continues to be motivated to expand family planning services (family planning) through family planning commodities, training for family planning health workers, and integration of family planning services. However, currently, the number of family planning services has not been served properly. This study applies a quantitative approach, observational, and cross-sectional design. Through this approach, it is possible to measure the influence of the competence and work motivation variables at the PLKB in supporting the achievement of the Postpartum Family Planning program. The sample for this study were all PLKB/PKB officers at the North Labuhanbatu Regency PPKB Office with a total of 41 people who were determined using a total sampling technique and using a questionnaire instrument in measuring. A total of 41 respondents who were tested based on age, gender, education, length of work, and employment status showed that there was a significant influence between the competence of PLKB/PKB officers and the achievement of postpartum family planning programs, with a Pearson Chi-Square value of 11.896 and a p-value = 0.001 ( p<0.05). If viewed based on motivation, then between work motivation aspects of personal and altruistic goals, work motivation aspects of pride and self-satisfaction, work motivation aspects of self-recognition and support, and work motivation as a whole with the achievement of postpartum family planning programs with each value of Pearson Chi-Square of (11.896; 6.600; 4.490; 9.899) and each value of p = 0.001; 0.010; 0.034; 0.002 (p<0.05).

Investigation of Traditional Fishermen's Income in Labuhan Bilik Village, Panai Tengah District, Labuhan Batu Regency

This research aims to reveal and analyze the income of traditional fishermen in Labuhan Bilik Village. The research methods used are surveys, interviews, and data analysis. The data collected includes fishermen's income, sources of income, equipment used, and challenges faced. The research results show that traditional fishermen's income comes from several sources, including fish catches, seafood, and side jobs such as agriculture. Although fishermen's income varies throughout the year and is influenced by weather factors, fish catches remain their main source of income. The main challenges traditional fishermen face in this village include climate change, declining fish stocks, and competition with commercial fishermen. It provides a basis for developing policies that support the fisheries sector in the region.
