Artifact Evaluation for ACM TRETS Papers Submitted from the FPT Journal Track

Authors of papers that were accepted to ACM TRETS via the FPT 2022 journal track had the option of participating in Artifact Evaluation (AE). Four papers from this track volunteered to participate in the AE process. All of these papers have been awarded badges from ACM as described below.

This Special Issue of the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems—I: Regular Papers (TCAS-I) includes papers presented at the International Symposium on Integrated Circuits and Systems (ISICAS) 2022, held on October 20–21, 2022, at Bordeaux, France. This is the fifth edition of this journal track symposium as part of the initiative of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS), started in 2018. The Symposium welcomes high-quality original research papers in the areas of integrated circuits and systems, including but not limited to analog, digital, power, energy, biomedical, sensor interfaces, and communication systems. A reader will notice that all the papers presented in this Special Issue and at the conference describe integrated circuit and implementations in CMOS, hybrid, SiP or SoC forms with experimental results—this is a mandatory requirement of the Symposium.

This special issue of the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems—Part II: Express Briefs (TCAS-II) includes papers presented at the International Symposium on Integrated Circuits and Systems (ISICAS). This year, the conference is held in Bordeaux, France, on October 20 <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">th</sup> and 21 <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">st</sup> 2022. This is the fifth edition of this journal track symposium as part of the initiative of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS), started in 2018. The symposium is focused on original works reporting hybrid, System-in-Package (SiP) or System-on-Chip (SoC) implementations of circuits and systems with state-of-the-art experimental results.

This is the fourth edition of this journal track symposium as part of the initiative of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS), started in 2018. The Symposium welcomes high-quality original research papers in the areas of integrated circuits and systems, including but not limited to analog, digital, power, energy, biomedical, sensory, and communications systems. A reader will notice that all the papers presented in this Special Issue and at the conference describe integrated implementations in CMOS, hybrid, SiP or SoC forms with experimental results—this is a mandatory requirement of the Symposium.

Editorial Acknowledgments and Introduction to the Special Issue for the EDM Journal Track

For the seventh time, EDM 2021 held a Journal track allowing papers submitted to JEDM to be presented at the conference. A summary was included in the EDM 2021 proceedings, and the full texts are included in this Special Issue of the Journal of Educational Data Mining (JEDM). The JEDM Track at EDM 2021 received 7 submissions, among which 3 made it to the final stage in time for publication. We are pleased to publish the following works in this issue.

THIS special issue of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ONCIRCUITS AND SYSTEMS-Part I: Regular Papers(TCAS-I) includes papers presented at the International Symposiumon Integrated Circuits and Systems (ISICAS), heldon 2-3 September 2018 in Taormina, Italy. This is a newinitiative of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS)and the first edition of the symposium, which includes aselection of original works in very diverse areas of integratedcircuits and systems, describing integrated implementationswith experimental results. In contrast to conventional symposiaand conferences, ISICAS is a Journal Track Symposium whichdoes not produce proceedings. Instead, the papers presented atthe conference are published in two journal special issues. Oneof them is the issue that you are holding, and the other is aspecial issue of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON CIRCUITS ANDSYSTEMS-Part II: Express Briefs (TCAS-II). The technicalprogram of the conference is, therefore, made up of thosepapers that have been accepted for publication in these specialissues of TCAS-I and TCAS-II.
