The purpose of the article is to study the peculiarities of the organization of production at the enterprises of the hotel business. Methodology of research. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research are developed by domestic and foreign scientists and practitioners on the issues of strategic management and processes of strategic planning and forecasting of entrepreneurial activity of the hotel business enterprises. Findings. The main positive and negative factors of the decision to open a hotel business have been identified, the recommendations for the development of a hotel strategy and three organizational basic values on which the main components of the hotel business (manageability, customer orientation and innovation) are built. Practical value. The modern approach to the effective management of the hotel business must also take into account the diverse and ever-changing needs of customers, which can only be met by tailoring each workplace not only to the needs of the client, but also to the needs of the employee himself. The article substantiates that the implementation of the suggested recommendations for the development of the hotel strategy and taking into account basic organizational values will contribute to the growth of the hotel business, the expansion of the number of customers, the search for new business partners. The measures identified and described in the article are aimed at improving the efficiency of the whole enterprise, which will ultimately increase its economic and financial results. Adhering to a strategy of increasing profits by creating an image, advertising, effective management structure will help to realize further entrepreneurial goals. The basic scientific provisions of the article can be used in the practice of hotel business enterprises.
