Cryptocurrency in Islamic View: Sentiment Analysis Method Approach

Islamic economics focuses on realizing Islamic ideals, rahmatan lil 'alamin, which aims to provide goodness, prosperity and well-being. Halal (Positive) and haram (negative) aspects in the realm of cryptocurrency. Based on an extensive review of 23 relevant journals, this research aims to analyze the literature and explore the implications of cryptocurrency in relation to Islamic principles. This research focuses on key variables such as compliance with Sharia, riba (usury), gharar (uncertainty), and transparency. By reviewing existing literature and considering the perspective of Islamic scholars and law, this paper aims to determine whether cryptocurrency is permitted or prohibited from an Islamic perspective. These findings will contribute to the ongoing discourse around the compatibility of cryptocurrencies with Islamic finance and ethics. This study emphasizes the importance of addressing halal and haram issues and implications in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Ultimately, this research aims to provide insights and recommendations for scholars and practitioners in the field of Islamic finance and cryptocurrency.

A Study on Practice of Reproductive Health Care Facilities and Family Planning Decisions of the Rural Adolescent in an area of Bogura District, Bangladesh

Adolescent’s reproductive health is a serious concern in Bangladesh. The present study is based on primary data collection and in-depth interviews of 150 rural adolescent females of Fulbari and Baiguni villages of Bogura district. The objectives of the study were to assess the level of knowledge attitude and practice on reproductive health issues, to assess the socio-demographic features of samples and to explore the level of knowledge & awareness to demonstrate the role of the information & education (media, counseling, services facilities) in the management of reproductive health issues among rural adolescent females. The mean age of the respondents were 16.2 years. School enrolment is still low (46%) and dropout rate is high (32%). A large number of rural adolescent females of the study area have been found to discontinue education after a few years of schooling. The data further shows that, in TV 7.31% attending health education and 12.19% to family planning program. More of the adolescents (60%) were aware of all least one family planning methods (Oral Pill). However, it is obvious that knowledge of various methods of contraception does not imply that the respondents actually knew how to use these methods effectively. The highest three methods they can named were oral pill 60%, Injection 35% and Implant/ Norplant 18.67%. Among all 72.64% were not known or received any information about the management of menstruation before their first menstruation. The study revealed that 72.41% of adolescent’s females, those were suffering from at least one complication or problems of menstruation and were not visited or seeking any consultation or treatment from any service providers available. Only 18% of them seek treatment or consultation from the service providers. Among these sick adolescents’ females who attended for consultation or treatments, 83.33% were not satisfied while only 16.67% express their satisfaction on the health care services. The social and religious constraints are strict in the culture and Islamic ideals of Bangladeshi people where the majority of whom still live in joint families. The study indicates that the rural adolescent females are poorly informed about most of the reproductive health issues. There also exist important misconceptions regarding healthy management of menstruation. Besides, there is big gap between their knowledge, attitude and practice. Parents, Guardians, teachers, religious leaders and community leaders (they are main gatekeeper) concern regarding management reproductive health issues of rural adolescent females.

Strategi Bisnis Kuliner Aceh: Transformasi Identitas Islami Melalui Inovasi Dan Komodifikasi


 
 Abstract
 The aim of this research is to examine Aceh's culinary business strategy which emphasizes commodification and innovation in order to transform Islamic identity. Aceh's rich culinary heritage reflects the varied and diverse Islamic values that make it the home of Mecca. This study looks at how innovative menus, presentation and customer experience are used by Acehnese food companies to project a strong Islamic identity. This research methodology is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach including direct observation of industrial operations, literature review, interviews with industry professionals in the culinary arts field, and documentation. The findings of this research show how creative culinary entrepreneurs in Aceh are actively implementing new ideas in preparing and serving food in a way that respects Islamic principles. In addition, the use of branding, MPU Aceh's halal certification, and the provision of places of worship all contribute to the commodification of Islamic identity and are important components of business strategy. The results of this research are that this change in Islamic identity is increasing the gastronomic appeal of Aceh, both among local people and visitors. This business plan is expected to uphold and preserve Aceh's Islamic culinary heritage and have a positive impact on regional economic growth. These results provide in-depth information for the growth of culinary businesses based on Islamic identity in a similar context.

Intolerance among Different Islamic Sects in Pakistan: Causes and Solution

Intolerance has been a serious problem as an inter-communal problem and this problem exists in the form of inter-communal intolerance in Pakistan which leads to violence and bloodshed. Many factors contribute to this intolerance, including sectarian differences in belief and practice, political exploitation of sectarian differences, lack of education and understanding, and the influence of extremism. Due to which Pakistani people are facing many problems. There are many different sects of Muslims in Pakistan, each with its own set of beliefs and customs. These differences can sometimes lead to stresses and even violence between sects. For instance, the Sunni and Shia organizations of Islam have several views about the succession of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), and this has been a wellspring of contention between the two factions for a really long time. Misunderstandings and prejudices between sects can result from the fact that many Pakistanis lack Islamic knowledge. For instance, some individuals may be of the opinion that their particular sect is the only genuine Islamic sect and that all others are heretics. Intolerance and even violence can result from it. The aim of this research work is to explain a comparative analysis of intolerance among different Islamic sects in Pakistan and as well as to find out its causes and solution under the Islamic context. In this study used a qualitative approach to its investigation. The information was gathered from a variety of sources, including websites, books, magazines, news pieces, and research papers. The primary and secondary both sources were used in references. Any society that wants to sustain stability, moral development, and peace has to have a giving and tolerant relationship among its members of all religions and sects. To promote regional security, stability, peace, and order, it is equally important to behave with charity and tolerance. In Pakistan, where people of diverse countries, beliefs, and sects live, tolerance is especially important. There must be religious tolerance for people to coexist peacefully in society. Then the environment of society would be peaceful and calm.

Theological and Cultural Construction: Resilience Strategies of the To Sallang Minority in A Multicultural Society

To Sallang is a term addressed to minority Muslims who live in Toraja. Even though they are a minority, they can live side by side, without losing their Islamic identity. This research aims to find out To Sallang's resilience strategy to survive among the mainstream religions and customs of the Toraja people who are predominantly Christian. In addition, it also aims to explore religious aspects that can strengthen To Sallang community to survive and adapt to a multicultural society. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research results show that To Sallang manages to maintain their social identity as a native of Toraja descent, as well as negotiate personal identity as a Muslim community by adapting their genius and creative assimilation to universal religious values and local wisdom (indigenous knowledge). Through theological concepts such as fitrah-sunnatullah (natural law), hablum min al-nas (social interaction), hurmatu al-takrim (respect and honor), and al-ma'ruf (values of goodness and wisdom that are rooted in the traditions of society) synchronized with local wisdom values such as sikamali (love-miss each other), siangga' (mutual respect), and siangkaran (help each other), To Sallang can present a comprehensive picture of religiosity that accommodates religious aspirations with cultural characteristics. To Sallang strategy could be the best practice and reference to build religious and cultural co-existence since they can survive with their Islamic identity and local wisdom to live together in a multicultural society. It can also be a blueprint for religious and cultural harmony in overcoming potential conflicts caused by ethnic and religious differences.

The phenomenon of religion appears as a multidimensional element in terms of individual, society and state. It has effects on people individually as well as in the context of social and international relations. In terms of states, religion appears as a phenomenon that affects and determines the domestic and foreign policies of states. Especially in the 21st century, we see that religion has begun to affect international relations in various areas. Another area where International Relations has begun to establish relations in recent years has been religion. Especially when foreign policy decision-making processes are examined, it is seen that religious beliefs, religion-based organizations and non-governmental organizations are effective in the decision-making processes of state administrators. The issue of Islamic Sects, and Shi’ism in particular, has been a much-discussed phenomenon in recent years due to its global and regional effects. Along with the Persian perspective inherited from the Persian Empire, Shi'ism has significantly influenced and continues to influence the geopolitical and geocultural education of today's Iran. With its politicization, Shiism has become one of the factors that play an important role in the creation and preservation of Iran's national identity, perhaps the most important. In this context, Iranian Shiism, which creates a socio-cultural system different from other civilizations around it, has become the main determinant on the security and foreign policy of today's Iran by intertwining with Persian nationalism since the reign of Shah Ismail. Iran has influenced Shiite communities in various regions - the Middle East, Africa - Central Asia - through its Shiite proxies, or has worked to Shiite the promising masses in the political field. Iran also has an influence on Shiite Muslims in Europe. Its relationship with the Shiite communities here appears as an important element in Iran's relations with European countries in the context of foreign policy. Shiite activities in Germany are carried out through an association in Hamburg, where Iranian business people have been living for many years. The Islamic Center of Hamburg describes itself as the "case representative" of the Shiites in Europe, especially in Germany. The concentration of Shiites and organizations in Germany in a single center is entirely in line with Iran's aim of "uniting the Shiites of the world under its rule and spreading Shiism (the belief in velayat-e faqih) from a single center". Approximately 200,000 Shiites live in France. Ten associations and cultural centers, which have been identified as carrying out religious activities on the basis of Shiism, are active in the country on behalf of Iran. Shiites currently constitute 10% of the total number of Muslims in the UK. Persian community centers have been established in the UK since the 1980s. Iranian individuals have established associations in the UK in many fields such as trade, health, culture and religion. It is estimated that these associations aim to spread Shiism among Muslim communities in the UK. Iran is trying to be active in Europe through these groups and Shiism is an important element in its relations with Europe.

This article examines changes and developments in the concept of Islamic thought in the archipelago, especially in Indonesia. This study examines Islamic thought throughout Indonesian culture and history. This journal examines the role of intellectuals, literature and religious institutions that have shaped Islamic identity in Indonesia from the beginning of the spread of Islam to the present. In addition, this research emphasizes interactions and conversations between Islam and local culture, which reflects the plurality and tolerance that characterize the Islamic paradigm in the archipelago. This journal provides in-depth insight into the unique contribution and complexity of Islamic thought in constructing intellectual identity in Indonesia by investigating the history of Islamic thought in Indonesia. This article will also explain how liberal Islamic ideas developed in Indonesia, the main points of liberal Islamic thought, and also in this article will explain the challenges of Islam in the current era of globalization in the archipelago.

Ishak Imamovic, a Qadi and a Book Author in Australia

This is the little-known story about an Australian sheikh, Ishak Imamovic, a qadi (Sharia judge) of Bosnian Muslim ethnic origin (Bosniak), and his forgotten pioneering book, the Outlines of Islamic Doctrine, which was published in Australia. The article comprises three parts: Ishak settling in Australia, his community engagement and a review of his book. It links Ishak’s ethnic background, adjustment to a new homeland and Muslim Australianness through his contributions to the Bosnian ethnic and multi-ethnic Muslim communities in Queensland, and his scholarly book. This article considers Ishak as a first qadi and Muslim book author, especially after the Second World War in Australia. However, his scholarly legacy is still unknown among Australian Muslim and non-Muslim scholars and students. The article is an “Ishak’s call” for better understanding of Islamic ideals and social virtues in the context of his legal considerations. It is primarily based on my discovery of his book, remarks from his descendants, friends and scholars, and the available archival data I read during my field trips to Brisbane in 1997, 2017 and 2023. By doing so, this article recommends reading Ishak’s 1971 magnum opus against scholarly ignorance and oblivion.

Konseptualisasi Cara Pandang Islamisasi Bahasa

Similar terms are frequently heard in several languages, yet every language has its unique viewpoint. As a result, conceptual and semantic shifts within a language are frequent. Nevertheless, problems occur when these modifications are made to important Islamic jargon. It is well recognized that Islam and Arabic are closely related. The Qur'anic text is written in Arabic, which offers a strong basis for the language's semantic perpetuity. The purpose of this study is to investigate how stable the Arabic-Islamic language is and how meaning changes affect important terms in Islam. The research method used is library research, with data collection techniques involving the examination of books as primary sources and journals and articles related to the research topic as secondary sources. The results of the study suggest that certain languages that share terminology with important terms in Islam but have different meanings should be Islamized. The goal of language Islamization is to adapt Western viewpoints of a language to those of Islam, particularly with regard to upholding Islamic ideas. Although Arabic and other languages share many phrases, it is imperative to maintain the Islamic ideals and continuity of meaning in the vocabulary used.

IMF Financing, Pakistan's Economic Growth, and Islam

The International Monetary Fund acts as the ultimate source of financial assistance for all nations. Since 1958, Pakistan has regularly availed of IMF loans. However, its economic status has not advanced sufficiently enough to be classified as one of the industrialised nations. The study seeks to analyse the influence of an IMF loan on Pakistan's economic progress. The study intends to investigate the influence of IMF loans on the improvement of socio-economic dynamics in Pakistan. The study seeks to ascertain if IMF interest-based funding enhances or impedes the development of Pakistan's economy. Qualitative research methodology is used subjectively to develop a conceptual framework using an inductive paradigm. IMF loans to Pakistan are thought to have impeded economic progress and worsened the plight of economically disadvantaged individuals by undermining their rights to health, food, and quality of life. The loans are interest-based, which goes against Islamic Shariah rules and the country's Islamic identity. Pakistan faces particular costs in obtaining IMF loan funding with interest.

Islamization of Knowledge of Ismail Raji Faruqi: Integration-Interconnection to the Contextualization of Indonesian Science

<p>This article discusses the concept of Islamization of knowledge promoted by Ismail Raji Faruqi. This concept aims to defeat secularism that blinds Muslims and brings misfortune. The spread of secularism has encouraged Muslims to make concessions to what the West offers them. Therefore, reading the Islamization of knowledge in the context of scientific integration-interconnection becomes essential to raise awareness among Muslims who are considered to glorify secular science so that people are too far from the concept of tawhid (monotheism). This research used a literature review method through several textual sources related to the topic discussed, primarily Faruqi's work entitled "Islamization of Knowledge," and secondary in the form of similar articles on the theme of Islamization of knowledge. Then, it is to consider the aims and objectives of the Islamization of knowledge, linking it with the concept of integration-interconnection, and considering the contextualization of the Islamization of knowledge in the Indonesian science. The results of this paper are as follows: Islamization of knowledge becomes an inclusive concept if we consider the existence of two disciplines. As a Muslim scientist, the realm of Islamization of knowledge must be imprinted in him to achieve the ideals of Islam. Islamization of knowledge is closely related to integration-interconnection, namely integrating sciences without legitimizing that one science with another cannot be merged. Islamization of knowledge is also a step in creating an Islamic civilization in the world of science. In the context of Indonesia, the Islamization of knowledge can be seen in the concept of science integration in several Islamic universities in Indonesia which has different concepts, but the same essence. The purpose of Faruqi's thought is to demand Muslims to be creative.</p>

Innovative Integration: Exploring AI Art Platforms in Architectural Education for Mosque Facade Design

This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of implementing the mentoring model in Mosque facade design presents a unique challenge in the field of architecture due to their importance as the mosque's front-facing feature and their role in representing Islamic identity. In this study, an AI art platform was introduced as a tool to improve the creativity and design process for architecture students and professionals. The study investigated the platform's novel application in the context of architectural learning for mosque façade design. The research methodology was divided into three parts: a description of the platforms used, identification of common use cases in mosque architectural design, and query analysis using NLP methods in Midjourney AI art platform. According to the findings of the study, the AI art platform is a valuable tool for architectural learning, allowing students and professionals to generate diverse and innovative designconcepts. The Midjourney AI art platform has flaws such as difficulty recognizing architectural styles from specific regions.

ISLAMIC PRINCIPLES AS A DESIGN FRAMEWORK FOR URBAN SYSTEM: ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERN AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

It is hard to discuss Islam without bringing up the person of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The urban crisis has become a significant issue due to society's Westernization. The experts say that the Islamic approach appears to be the most promising due to the urgent need for harmonization. Several concepts unmistakably found in this tradition's fundamental sources, the Hadith, the Qur'an, and the Sunnah, show how often attention the Islamic tradition has paid to both natural and urban growth. Traditional Islamic towns offered a range of experiences, from the intimate world of Home to the aspirations of the local population on a more global scale. This study critically assesses Islamic ethics and principles for sustainable urban development. According to Shari'a, the ancient Islamic law, this necessitates that the built environment be envisioned and governed in a way that advances morals and the growth of society. Urban zoning and land use rules should prioritize social integration and protect people's rights and needs since urban planning decisions affect social life in the built environment. A variety of basic Islamic ideals, such as human welfare and glory, justice and equality, central consideration, unanimity and kindness, economic development, security and safety, and environmental protection, must be considered when planning an Islamic metropolis. These principles could be a foundation for sustainable urban development wherever and whenever. In this research, traditional judgments support several pertinent Islamic beliefs. Eminent judges and jurists rendered these decisions in the early Muslims' customary courtroom settings. The primary sources of Shari'a, from which most were descended, are the Qur'an, Hadith, and Sunnah. This research also attempts to look into how Islamic design paradigms may be used to create urban settings that are more habitable, environmentally friendly, and culturally sensitive.

The Relationship between the Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Social Media Use in Articulating Islamic Identity among Muslim Millennials

Current technological developments have both positive and negative impacts. One of the negative impacts of excessive use of social media is that it can lead to addiction, cyberbullying, and fear of missing out (FoMO). It can even erode one's identity, as it is influenced by widely circulated videos on social media. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between FoMO, problematic use of social media, and expressions of Islamic identity. The FoMO scale, social media disorder scale, and Instagram Islamic identity scale were used as measuring tools in this research. A quantitative approach was employed, using multiple analyses, which revealed that both FoMO and problematic use of social media contribute simultaneously to the expression of Islamic identity. The subjects of this research were 177 Indonesian millennial Muslims who actively participated in the Instagram migration movement. Problematic use of social media and expression of Islamic identity had an effective contribution of 40.6% (36.7% from social media use and 3.9% from FoMO). Additionally, we found that questionable social media use had a significant correlation with the articulation of Islamic identity, while FoMO itself had no correlation with it. These results can serve as a basis for future research on the expression of religious identity on social media and the development of interventions to address excessive social media use.

Exploring the Beauty of Islamic Values Through Metaphorical Expressions in Literary Work

Islamic values are strongly tied to Muslims’ ability to live in this world and the Hereafter. As a result, continuous research on Islamic ideals is required. These ideals can serve as a guideline for Muslims in their daily lives. In this regard, this research investigates Islamic principles reflected through metaphorical expressions in a literary work. This research employs a qualitative approach, an in-depth examination of a phenomenon. This study’s data was derived from metaphorical language containing Islamic ideals. The source of the data is Hamka’s novel Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah. The Qur’an and Hadith are utilized to analyze Islamic principles, while metaphor theory is employed to study metaphorical terms. The study’s findings indicate that this novel has the core values for hablun min Allah and hablun min al-nas. The value of hablun min Allah is firm faith (‘aqidah) in Allah. Hablun min al-nas’s main principles include the pursuit of trustworthiness, togetherness, affection, kindness, carefulness, and politeness, all leading to prosperity. In expressing and preaching Islamic ideals, metaphorical terms serve as a medium to describe a situation, underline a message, deliver values politely, and create aesthetic and artistic effects.

Assessing Contrasting Approaches to Dacwah on Radio in Ilorin, Nigeria

This research examines the role of media, specifically radio, in the dissemination of Islamic teachings through da’wah (the act of inviting people to Islam). In the context of contemporary Islamic scholarship, the study conducts a comparative analysis of two influential Islamic radio programs in Nigeria: "Madrasatu dalilis shar’i" and "Manhaju Ahlus Sunah wal Jama’a". These programs, hosted by Professor Abdulrahman Ahmad and Alfa Ali Jabata respectively, showcase distinct styles and methodologies in their approach to preaching Islam, reflecting the diverse interpretations and applications of Islamic teachings in modern media. The research employs descriptive analysis and a quantitative approach, including observations, interviews, and documentation. Interviews with forty Muslim scholars and academics provide insights into the content, relevance, and impact of these programs. The study reveals that while "Madrasatu dalilis shar’i" focuses on jurisprudential issues with an academic perspective, "Manhaju Ahlus Sunah wal Jama’a" adopts a more critical stance towards other Islamic sects and interpretations. The findings highlight the significant role of media in shaping the understanding and practice of Islam among contemporary Muslim audiences. The study underscores the necessity for media, especially radio, in effectively disseminating Islamic teachings, given its wide reach and influence. However, it also points to the challenges and responsibilities associated with using media for religious propagation, including the need for accuracy, respect for diverse viewpoints, and avoidance of sectarianism. In conclusion, the research emphasizes the crucial role of media in Islamic da’wah and recommends the establishment of regulatory institutions to oversee religious broadcasting. It suggests organizing workshops and seminars to enhance the effectiveness of da’wah through media, ensuring that the message of Islam is conveyed in a manner that is respectful, inclusive, and adaptable to the contemporary context.

Presentation of Islamic Identity in Tv Series: The Example of Kızılcık Şerbeti

Diziler, insanlar için vakit geçirmeyi sağlayan, onları günlük telaşlarından uzaklaştıran eğlence araçlarından bir tanesidir. Dizilerde yansıtılan yaşantılar ve karakterler bazen doğrudan bazen de dolaylı olarak izleyicilerin zihnine belli yapıları inşa etmektedir. Dizilerin etkililiği, diziler aracılığıyla verilen mesajlar ile sağlanmaktadır. Dini içerikli TV dizilerinde İslami kimliğin nasıl sunulduğu ve yansıtılan ile var olan arasında nasıl bir mesafenin olduğunu ortaya koymak araştırmanın amacını oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi seçilmiş ve söylem analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma örneklemi için Kızılcık Şerbeti dizisi seçilmiştir. Çözümlemeler, 8-15 Mayıs arasında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler çözümlenerek araştırma sonucunda İslami kimliğinin ve İslam dininin seküler kesim tarafından uygarlığın gerisinde ve eğitimsiz bireylerin bir inancı olarak konumlandırıldığı bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Muhafazakâr kesim ile de bu savın doğrulanarak, içselleştirilerek sunulduğu görülmüştür. Varılan bir diğer sonuç ise muhafazakâr kesimin yansıttığı kültürel davranışların birer İslami kimlik değeri olarak sunulduğu ve İslam dini için dezenformasyon sağladığıdır. İslam dininde yer alan ilkelerin bağlamsız olarak yer aldığı, bu nedenle irrasyonel ve abartılı sunularak spekülasyon oluşturduğu gözlemlenmiştir.

VISUAL RHETORIC OF ‘GUS’ AS POLITICAL IMAGE: ISLAM-NATIONALIST OR COMMODIFYING ISLAM

The rise of Islam-nationalist ideology in Indonesia's political contestation brings various Muslim figures to be involved. One of the most popular in the 2024 General Election is the appearance of ‘Gus’ as a representation of youth and religious politicians. This research focused on the construction of ‘Gus’ as a political image, and explored how their public relations team used visuals as an essential channel for storytelling, persuading, and image building. Adopting the agenda-setting theories and Burke’s dramatist pentad, this research draws the visual framing, answering ‘what is shown’ to the public and ‘how it is characterized’ as a presentation in social media. This research conducts the qualitative data analysis of four figures: Gus Muhaimin Iskandar, Gus Saifullah Yusuf, Gus Taj Yasin Maimoen, and Gus Ahmad Mudlor Ali. As a result, this research validates that the PR team used socially mediated images to build images based on “Islamic idealism”, the power of a local strongman, the leadership, and the point of view to legitimize their political position. To understand the political visual rhetoric, this research adopted the pentadic reading by looking at the element of social media post. It identifies the commodification goals of every figure, and shows where messaging priorities lies.

Keep Halal Bro: Analyze the Interplay Between Social Networking and Café Cultures Toward Islamic Self-Conception among Muslim Youth in Pekanbaru City, Indonesia

This article discusses the relationship between Muslims, cafes, and social media. Although cafes are constructed as modern public spaces and are considered "non-Islamic," it does not mean they have no connection with Islam. Therefore, this article seeks to answer questions about the nature of the relationship between Islam, cafes, and social media. Additionally, it explores the extent to which young Muslims access cafes and how they construct their identities of piety and youthfulness in cafes and online spaces. To address these questions, the author's teams conducted fieldwork in several cafes in Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia. Subsequently, the authors conducted observations and interviews with cafe owners and several young individuals using a narrative approach. This research indicates that cafes have become comfortable spaces for young Muslims. They negotiate their Islamic identity with the modern identities present in cafes. The formation of youthful identities is also inseparable from the use of social media among young people. These findings deconstruct the long-held view held by some scholars or communities that cafes are considered public spaces disconnected from Islam.
