"The gate of science" Hazrat Ali is one of the people who have an important place in the history of Islam in many ways. The name of Hazrat Ali, who was from the family of the Prophet and was one of the leading scholars and scribes of revelation, has been included in many discussions. In addition to the fact that he should have the priority in the office of the head of state (caliphate), he has even been the subject of false claims that prophecy is his right, especially given by Shia sources. One of the current issues about Hazrat Ali throughout history is the mushafs attributed to him. It is generally accepted that Ali wrote a mushaf that belonged to him. As a result of this acceptance, there are mushafs claimed to have been written by Hazrat Ali in many Islamic cities today. While some of these are complete mushafs, others contain some parts of the Qur’ān as a piece of mushaf. Whether these mushafs belong to Hazrat Ali is one of the problems that are of interest to Muslims and therefore need to be investigated. In accordance with the assumption that it is a mushaf belonging to Hazrat Ali, introductory information about this mushaf is given in some sources. In this study, which is prepared on the basis of the information given about Hazrat Ali's mushaf, TMSK 2, TMSK 29 and TİEM 458 mushafs, along with the San'a copy attributed to Hazrat Ali, are examined in terms of attribution to him. In the study, first of all, technical and introductory information about the mushafs, which are important because each of them was written in early periods, is given. In the second part, it has been determined what kind of information is given about the mushaf written by Hazrat Ali in the sources and which features are included. In the last part, considering these features, four mushafs were examined and it was tried to determine whether the mushafs comply with the mentioned features. On this occasion, the issue of attributing the mushafs to Hazrat Ali has been tried to be clarified and the question marks on the subject have been resolved. As the details are stated in the content of the study, as a result of this research, it has been concluded that there is no harmony between these historically important mushafs and the features mentioned about the mushaf written by Hazrat Ali, and it is not possible for these mushafs to belong to Hazrat Ali.
