Analysis on Artist Neuropsychology and Art Creation.

Based on Carl Gustav Jung’s persona philosophy, this paper conducts theoretical analysis on the introvert and extravert personalities, distinguishes the introvert personality from the psychopathy defined from a medical perspective, and elaborates on the dominance of introvert personality in art creations, as well as the “mental conditions” among artists that the contemporary society is concerned with. This paper uses modern artists as subjects to support the conclusion through analysis of their childhood, career and life stories.

Mathematics communications skill of student in senior high school on introvert

Introvert personality is a characteristic of students stimulates thought and behavior. For this reason, introvert personality can influence mathematics learning and students’ mathematics communication. Through mathematics communication, students can organize the ability to think both verbally and in writing. This study aimed to analyze the mathematical communication skills of students who had an introvert personality. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with 20 subjects in the eleventh grade of a national senior high school in Sukoharjo. The data was collected through questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The results of this study are the students who had an introvert personality type who was able to analyze and write information obtained by mathematical symbols was 90 % in the high category. The indicator of mathematics communication capabilities that are expressing ideas, mathematical situations or with pictures, graphs, and algebraic forms, which have a percentage of 24.5% in the low category.

IMPLEMENTATION GUIDANCE SERVICES GROUP TO OVERCOME INTROVERTED PERSONALITY

Abstract: The study was based on concerns about the personality of the students in the school environment, especially regarding introvert (closed). The research goal is to overcome the introverted personalities of students in SMK Negeri 1 Padangsidimpuan through Guidance Services Group. The method used is a pre-experimental research with the shape of The One Group Pretest - Post Test Design. With a sample of experimental class is class XI Administration 1 as many as 10 students were 5 girls and 5 boys, so as the total sample of 10 students. Tutoring Services Group dilakukakan three meetings and one-time meeting information services, namely in the first meeting perform pretest and posttest perform all treatments. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon rank test signesd and Kolmogorov Smirnov 2 with the help SPSS version 20.00. From the results of operations to be carried, a decline in student introverted personalities are quite large, especially the second and third meetings. The findings in the experimental group there is a significant drop between the results of the posttest. to test the hypothesis used by the formula Wilcoxon signed rank test using SPSS version 20 o'clock Wilcoxon test was used to analyze the results of observations of the two data are different or not. On average variable introverted personalities of 142.6000 (posttest experiment) this looks very significant difference. The conclusion of this study the data processing, shows that the implementation of group counseling services can overcome introvert personalities. It is recommended for teachers to approach through group counseling, especially guidance to help shape the personality of students, both in learning, implementation and evaluation of learning. For further research, is expected to make a research on the introverted personalities through other methods

KEPRIBADIAN EKSTROVERT-INTROVERT DAN PEMEROLEHAN BAHASA KEDUA PERSPEKTIF PSIKOLINGUISTIK PADA SANTRI PONDOK MODERN

Personality as one of the factors of language acquisition in modern cottage students. Open personality (extrovert) or closed personality (introvert) has keberpengaruhan on language acquisition. Both of these personalities, extrovert and introvert has a way, the model, as well as their own style in acquiring language. Language acquisition means the ability to use language that is obtained, especially in the four language skills, such as listening skills (listening abilities), speech (speaking ability), literacy (reading ability), and writing skills (writing abilities). Language acquisition is based on a process that is not conscious (subconscious). Therefore, extrovert or introvert personality has a different way of language acquisition. This is caused by differences in personality- type. Extroverts tend to be more open, while introverts tend to be closed. This study refers to Noam Chomsky thought with his theory in his book Transforming Generative entitled "Language and Mind" which says that humans have an innate trait in acquiring a language that is inborn. Extrovert and introvert personality characteristic of the human personality. Personality is a factor that affects language acquisition. This study used, a qualitative method with descriptive analysis approach to describe the findings of extrovert and introvert personality behavior in acquiring language. This study revealed that extrovert and introvert personality has a certain way and in acquiring language models. However, there are differences in the tendency towards acquiring the four language skills.

Relationships Between Myers-Briggs Type Indicators and NAPLEX Performances

Objective. To examine the relationships between pharmacy students' Myers-Briggs Type Indicators (MBTIs) and their first-attempt NAPLEX scores within an accelerated, dual campus curriculum. Methods. Data from the MBTIs and NAPLEX findings were retrieved from a single cohort of the Columbia, SC and Savannah, GA campuses of South University School of Pharmacy. A multiple linear regression technique was performed to assess the degree of variability in first-attempt NAPLEX scores that could be accounted for by MBTIs, campus of enrollment, and gender. Results. Of the 134 student data samples collected, 119 (86%) were included for study analysis. Campus of enrollment and MBTIs were predictive of first-attempt NAPLEX scores. Introversion personality types scored 9.5 points higher on the NAPLEX than extroversion types; feeling personality types scored 6.0 points higher than thinking types; students enrolled at the Savannah, GA campus scored 5.7 points higher than their Columbia, SC campus counterparts. Conclusion. Certain personality types were shown to have predictive value with regard to first-attempt NAPLEX score achievements. These results offer plausible insights into pharmacy student tendencies that can affect success on high-stakes standardized examinations. Additional research into sociological aspects of pharmacy students' composition may assist with optimizing performances on licensure examinations as prerequisites to proficient careers within the pharmacy profession.

Introversion Personality and Students’ Reading Comprehension

Introversion is characterized by social isolation and introspective nature. In the process of learning English as a foreign language, it is important to understand learner’s personalities. This is because each individual language learner has different tendencies and can influence the effectiveness and success of learning the four main skills of the language. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between introversion personality and students’ reading comprehension. 95 eleventh-grade upper secondary students were randomly selected for this study. The researchers used a questionnaire to measure students’ introversion personality, and a test to measure their reading comprehension. Serial Correlation Coefficient formula was employed as the main method to analyze the data. Based on the analysis, it was found that both the students’ introversion personality and reading comprehension was categorized as average. This indicated that introversion personality and students’ reading comprehension were significantly correlated. The correlation between the two variables were strong. Therefore, it can be concluded that introversion personality played an important role in affecting students’ reading comprehension. Thus, the more introverted the students, the better their reading comprehension.

Research about Children's Painting Education Method Based on House Tree Person Test

Human behaviors are cultivated from childhood. People's aesthetic habits and creativity are cultivated through the creation of children's painting works. Unlike the other art activities, painting is an art activity that is very easy to implement and not constrained by the surrounding environment. Creating a painting work is an art activity that everyone can participate in. Anyone can use painting works to express their own thoughts and feelings. As for some introverted personality children, they are shy to share their ideas. Researchers can search children's growth environment, psychological state, aesthetic habits and their painting habits from these children's painting works. Aesthetic cognition and concept are the most important factors that compose a painting work. Children's aesthetic habits and painting habits will directly affect children's creativity and imagination after adulthood. There are 471 children aged 7-13 participated in this study. This research focuses on seeking children's painting education method. In addition, using House Tree Person (HTP) test to find children’s preference and habits while creating the paintings works.

Analisis Psikopatologi Sindroma Depresi Pecandu Narkoba Kini Abstinen yang Mengalami Stroke

<p>This study aimed to uncover how to analyze psychopathology in depth about drug addicts with depression syndrome after abstinence from substances and suffer a stroke. This study involved one (1) male subject, aged 22 years, drug addicts are now abstinent in drug rehabilitation treatment, experiencing depression, and stroke due to substances. This study used a qualitative approach to case studies. Data extraction in this study used observation, in-depth interviews, medical records, and psychological tests such SPM (Scale Progressive Matrick), Graphics (BAUM, DAP, HTP, WTZ), BDI II. The results of this study indicated that introverted personality types, low cognitive abilities, family neglect contributed to depression syndrome with poor prognosis. Other than that, experiencing depression was not caused by abstinence of substances but because of psychological factors.<strong></strong></p>

Relationship of extrovert and introvert personality types against student achievement faculty of nursing USU

Learning achievement is one indicator in determining the success of an educational institution, student learning achievement consists of three aspects, namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. The student has unique and distinctive characteristics in behaving as well as in the learning process. A good learning process will result in a good learning achievement as well. Learning achievement is a proof of the success of learning or ability of a person in doing learning activities in accordance with the weight achieved. Many factors that affect learning achievement one of them is the student’s personality. Personality can affect student achievement level. This study uses a descriptive correlative design that aims to determine the relationship between the personality with student achievement. The sample in this study amounted to 234 students of the Faculty of Nursing USU, with the approach of proportionate stratified random sampling. Chi-square test results obtained a relationship of personality with student achievement with p-value value of 0.043. Furthermore, the test statistic nonparametric test sperman rho that produces strength correlation relationship of the personality variable to the achievement index of -0.050. The suggestion for further research is to include other variables that influence academic achievement such as interest, motivation, lecturer and teaching method and environmental factors so that can be seen the influence of these variables.

THE STUDENTS PERSONALITY BASED ON THE READING STRATEGY USED

The study attempts to analyze the students’ personality, the reading strategy that the students used in reading, and the correlation between the students personality and reading strategy used. The study took place at SMAN 6 Wajo where 3 classes were participated to represent their classes. The study employed descriptive method, where the data obtained through personality inventory questionnaire, reading strategy questionnaire and reading test. There are three points were found from this reserach. First, regarding with the students personality, mostly students in SMAN 6 Wajo are extrovert persons. The rest of students is dominated with introvert personality. Second, the reading strategy that the student most frequently used is Global Reading Strategy. It is followed with Problem Solving Strategy and Support Reading Strategy. Last, related with the relationship between reading strategy used and the students personality, there are three points we got from this study. Fisrt, Global Reading Strategy is commonly used by extrovert students. Second, Problem Solving Strategy is used by introvert students. Third, Support Reading Strategy is used by thinking students.

Mathematical communication skill of senior high school students based on their personality types

Every student with different type of personality, extrovert or introvert, has his or her own characteristic. The difference of the personality type can influence their way of having confident attitude, communication, and other activities including learning. This research aims at analysing student’s ability of mathematical communication with extrovert and introvert personality type. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The data of this research was obtained from 34 students of senior high school in Sukoharjo region with heterogeneous abilities, collected using written test and interview. The result of the research gave an overview that mathematical communication skill of students having introvert personality can arrange conjecture, make an argument, and formulate generalization definition. However, they had difficulty in understanding a mathematical presentation. Meanwhile, the students having extrovert personality can explore their ideas, but they have difficulty in revealing the idea or mathematical paragraph in their language. In order to improve mathematical communication, students should be given mathematical problem related to mathematical communication and the teacher is expected to know the characteristics of the students so that the teacher can provide appropriate actions.

Deskripsi Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis pada Soal Cerita Berdasarkan Tipe Kepribadian Ekstrovert-Introvert Siswa SMP Negeri 6 Rembang

This study aims to describe the ability of mathematical problem solving in solving story problems in terms of the extrovert introvert personality types of SMP N 6 Rembang students on a two-variable linear equation system. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects in this study were students of class VIIIB SMP N 6 Rembang. Selection of Respondents used a purposive sampling technique consisting of three students for each personality type. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, tests, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques with data presentation steps, data reduction and conclusions. The results showed that the problem-solving ability for (1) extroverted students: were able to understand the problem and were able to explain again in their own language, were able to draw up a problem-solving plan, were able to carry out calculations and writing very neatly, were able to check the results obtained, ( 2) introverted students: have been able to understand the problem but have not been able to explain again with their own language, have been able to draw up a problem solving plan and are able to do calculations even though the writing is still messy, in general do not re-check the answers he has obtained.

Konseling Kelompok untuk Menurunkan Depresi Pada Remaja Introvert Korban Kekerasan Seksual

Depression in adolescent victims of sexual violence needs to get proper attention and handling. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group counseling in reducing depression in adolescent victims of sexual violence. The data collection tools used are depression scale and introvert personality type scale. The subjects of this study were 5 (five) introverted adolescents who had experienced sexual violence and had received psychosocial assistance from Yayasan Hotline Surabaya and Yayasan Embun Surabaya Foundation. The research design used is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The analytical method used was nonparametric wilxocon test and correlation test using spearman. THE EFFECT OF COOPERATIVE LANGUAGE LEARNING AND PERSONALITY TYPES TOWARDS ESSAY WRITING

This study is aimed to find out the effect of Cooperative learning techniques and personality types on English essay writing skill. This study was conducted at STIBA � IEC Jakarta for the fourth semester in the academic year 2016/2017. It was an experimental study with the factorial design 2 x 2 at 0.05 significance level. The sample was 32 students and divided into two groups which each group was 16 students. The research reveals that: (1) students� English essay writing skill taught with Think-Pair-Share (TPS) technique was� higher than with Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) technique; (2) English essay writing skill on introvert personality type was higher than extrovert personality types; (3) there was interaction effect between learning techniques and personality type toward English essay writing skill; and (4) students with introvert type taught with TPS technique was higher than those taught with STAD technique. There is an interaction effect between learning techniques and personality types on English essay writing skills. HUBUNGAN ANTARA KEPRIBADIAN INTROVERT DENGAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII DI SMP NEGERI 8 KEDIRI

Kepribadian introvert adalah kondisi individu yang memiliki kecenderungan tertutup, baik sifatnya maupun tingkah lakunya yaitu lebih suka menyendiri, menyukai kesunyian, individual, dan berusaha menarik diri dari lingkungan. Siswa yang memiliki kepribadian introvert memiliki hubungan dengan motivasi belajarnya di sekolah sehingga akan mempengaruhi prestasi belajarnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh informasi dan mendapatkan data yang akurat mengenai hubungan kepribadian introvert dengan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 8 Kediri Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Proses analisis datanya menggunakan Korelasi Product Moment dan sampel dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 70 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Kediri. Pengambilan datanya menggunakan instrumen angket kepribadian introvert dan motivasi belajar. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji Korelasi Product Moment menunjukkan hubungan positif antara Kepribadian Introvert dengan Motivasi Belajar hubungan antara kepribadian introvert dengan motivasi belajar siswa ditunjukkan dengan nilai r hitung 0,502 lebih besar dari r tabel 0,235 dengan taraf signifikansi 5% (0,502 ≥ 0,235). Karena nilai korelasi berada di range 0,40 – 0,599, maka disimpulkan bahwa hubungan antara variabel X dengan variabel Y adalah sedang. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, berbunyi adanya hubungan antara kepribadian introvert dengan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 8 Kediri Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan saran yang perlu dikemukakan adalah Hendaknya oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling dapat dijadikan sumber bahan untuk meningkatkan kualitas ilmu bimbingan dan konseling.

Learner Aptitude Variables in L2 Learners' Strategy Frame Shift : A Comparative Study on the Effects of Collaborative Group Discussion

This study expands upon the previous research (Duvernay & You, 2017) made to investigate the Collaborative Group Discussion** method and its effects on learning strategy use as described in the Strategy Inventory for Language Learning (SILL, Oxford 1995). In the current study, additional factors in the form of learner types—including personality, gender and learner aptitude—have been included as variables that may affect L2 learners' Strategy Inventory Frame Shift*** after a semester of classroom CGD sessions. The study found that learner types have a significant impact on variations in CGD Strategy Frame Shift (SFS) results and that the three main factors indicate interconnected correlations. In particular, introverted personalities, females and language learners of lower language-learning aptitude all demonstrated SFS in the form of improvements in metacognitive, affective and social strategy use.

Personality and Students’ Knowledge about Ecosystem Related to Environmental Behavior of Grade XI Senior High School Students at SMA N 112, West Jakarta

The objective of this research is to find out the effect of Personality (P) and knowledge students about ecosystem (KS) on environmental behaviour (EB). An expost facto method has been used by selecting 8 sample for each cell. Reliability of P was .964, KS was .937 and EB was .95. Data analyzed by two-way ANOVA. Research results revealed that there was environmental behaviour significant difference between those students who have most extraversion personality compared to introversion personality. Moreover, there was significant interaction effect between personality and knowledge students about ecosystem on environmental behaviour.
