A novel and effective encrypted traffic classification method based on channel attention and deformable convolution

With the rapid development of the Internet and 5G communication technologies, encrypted traffic classification, recognized as a fundamental task in network management, has gained increasing attention from researchers. An accurate traffic classification is crucial for improving network service quality, optimizing network operations, and ensuring information security. However, most of the existing neural network-based methods lack attention to key information and have insufficient traffic feature extraction capability. Motivated by the above limitations, we proposed a novel and effective end-to-end model based on channel attention and deformable convolution, called CAD-Net. Specifically, a novel channel attention mechanism and a powerful deformable convolution technique are introduced in the residual network, which provides the model with the capability of focusing on the most relevant features and capturing the implicit features among the traffic bytes. Furthermore, our class-aware weighted cross-entropy loss function significantly improves the performance of CAD-Net under class-imbalanced conditions. We comprehensively evaluated the effectiveness of CAD-Net on two public datasets, and the experimental results demonstrate that our model achieved the best performance compared with existing methods on both encrypted traffic service and application classification tasks.

DIGITAL DIPLOMACY: THE INFLUENCE OF DIGITAL PLATFORMS ON GLOBAL DIPLOMACY AND FOREIGN POLICY

Diplomats use the Internet for information retrieval, email correspondence with colleagues, electronic draft text negotiation, and a growing number of new social networking sites like Facebook and blogs. In times of crisis, leaders are using hash tags to spread data and analysis and to promote government activities. Without a doubt, digital technology has influenced how the modern world operates, even to the point where it has given rise to a brand-new type of diplomacy called "digital diplomacy." This essay investigates how conventional diplomatic methods have evolved into a new era defined by digital diplomacy and assesses how this has affected international relations. It explores the various ways that digital instruments, such as online forums, virtual summits, and social media platforms, have shaped international relations. The present study delves into the notion of digital diplomacy, emphasising the application of digital media in the diplomatic sphere and the manner in which nations, particularly India, are employing these instruments to advance their foreign policies. The study examines the challenges and opportunities posed by digital diplomacy, considering issues of cybersecurity, information warfare, and the democratization of diplomacy through increased public engagement. Moreover, it investigates the implications of this digital shift on the effectiveness, transparency, and inclusivity of foreign policy frameworks. By analyzing case studies and scholarly works, this paper aims to provide insights into the intricate interplay between technology, diplomacy, and foreign policy in an era dominated by digital connectivity.

The Role of Influencer Collaboration as A Marketing Strategy In Promoting New Product Collection

Internet, social media, mobile apps, and other digital communications technologies have all become a part of everyday life for billions of people around the world. A global phenomenon, as mentioned by Backaler is that influencer marketing is growing in countries around the world. One example of a local fashion brand that has recently just adopted influencer collaboration as its marketing strategy is THENBLANK. The study objectives of this research are to analyze the role of Isyana Sarasvati as a marketing strategy collaborator in promoting THENBLANK’s new product collection, to know how Isyana Sarasvati contributes to THENBLANK’s marketing strategy, and to identify the factors that THENBLANK considers when choosing an influencer to collaborate with. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with semi-structured in-depth interviews as the data collection method. The theories and concepts used in this research are the Stimulus-Response Theory, AISAS Model, Pillars of Influence, and Marketing Strategy. The result of this research shows the collaboration between THENBLANK and Isyana was successful because of the compatibility of personality and character. THENBLANK also collaborates with Isyana because they want to increase the brand value, brand image and social status of customers, and this was in accordance with their selection. The role of Isyana as an influencer is also very good and contributes through making a song scoring, providing criticism and input, and many more.

Educational Innovations in the Fundamentals of Marxism in the Context of the New Era

In the historical context of the new era, socialist education with Chinese characteristics faces many opportunities and challenges. With the further deepening of globalisation and informatisation, traditional economic, cultural and technological boundaries are becoming blurred, while bringing about social challenges such as intensified global competition and the polarisation of the rich and the poor. As the world's second largest economy, China is striving to find a development path suitable for itself in the wave of globalisation. In the age of information technology, cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data are reshaping the economy and society, while the Internet and mobile communication technologies have made the flow of information more rapid, which not only facilitates the dissemination of knowledge, but also has a significant impact on the mode of education and the way of work. By promoting the "Internet Plus" action plan and the development of the digital economy, the Chinese government aims to improve governance capacity and efficiency, and draw up a blueprint for a digital China and a smart society. In the new era of ideological pluralism, China faces the challenges and opportunities of both socialist core values and traditional cultural heritage. China is trying to find a balance between inheritance and innovation, and to strengthen citizens' moral construction and cultural confidence. Such an endeavour not only enhances the country's cultural soft power, but is also a positive response to the changes of the times. At the same time, socialist education with Chinese characteristics is also placing greater emphasis on people's livelihoods and fairness and justice in the new era, and the public's pursuit of a high quality of life has become more intense. The rising demand for education, health, housing and the environment requires the government to pay more attention to livelihood improvement and social equity while promoting economic development. The concept of environmental protection and green development has become a social consensus, pointing to the goal of sustainable development. China's economic system is transforming into a more globally competitive modernisation and is seeking a broader space for development under the new pattern of globalisation. The changes brought about by this new era to Chinese education are not only challenges, but also opportunities. China not only needs to play an important role in the international arena, but also needs to deepen its internal reforms in order to raise the level of national education and contribute to the grand blueprint of high-quality economic development and national rejuvenation. Marxist education, as a guiding ideology, will continue to play an important role in this process, aiming to cultivate the talents needed by the times, promote the internalisation and practice of socialist core values, and ultimately realise socialist modernisation and the overall revitalization of the country.

The Effect of a Program to Improve Adherence to the Mediterranean Diet on Cardiometabolic Parameters in 7034 Spanish Workers.

Cardiovascular and metabolic diseases include a large group of pathologies and constitute one of the most serious chronic health problems facing the 21st century, with high rates of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Unhealthy diets influence the development of these pathologies. The Mediterranean diet can be an important part in the treatment of these diseases. The objective of this study was to assess the effect of a program that aims to increase adherence to the Mediterranean diet on the improvement of different cardiometabolic risk parameters. A prospective intervention study was carried out on 7034 Spanish workers. Prior to the intervention, 22 cardiometabolic risk scales were evaluated. Participants in this study were informed both orally and in writing of the characteristics and benefits of the Mediterranean diet and were given the website of the Ministry of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare of Spain, which provides advice on nutrition. Adherence to the Mediterranean diet was reinforced by sending a monthly SMS to their mobile phones. After six months of follow-up, the 22 risk scales were re-evaluated to assess changes. Means and standard deviations were calculated using Student's t test to analyse quantitative variables. Prevalence was calculated using the Chi-square test when the variables were qualitative. All the cardiometabolic risk scales studied decreased after implementing a program to improve and enhance adherence to the Mediterranean diet. The number of losses in the sample was very low, standing at 4.31%. The Mediterranean diet is effective in reducing all cardiovascular risk scales evaluated. The mean values and prevalence of high values of the different cardiometabolic risk scales analysed led to lower values after the implementation of the program to increase adherence to the Mediterranean diet. We observed a significant positive difference in metabolic age in both sexes. We have obtained a significant improvement in the insulin resistance index, especially in the SPISE-IR index, data that we have not found in previous publications. Easy access to the Internet and new information and communication technologies facilitate adherence to a diet and can reduce the number of losses.

A Study on the Effectiveness of Online Learning under Complex Dynamic System Theory

With the acceleration of informatization and the rapid development of Internet information and communication technology, mankind has gradually entered the "Internet +" era. The development of online media has led to continuous innovation in education methods, the speed of knowledge dissemination is increasing day by day, and the breadth of knowledge dissemination is also expanding. As an emerging learning model, online learning is a complete system consisting of teaching and learning, teaching content, learning habits and learning methods, platforms and approaches, and the management of learning resources. A systematic review method was utilized to examine the current state of online learning and make recommendations based on the theory of complex dynamic systems. The study discovered that online learning is complex and systematic, requiring the cooperation of many parties throughout the entire educational system; that it is dynamic and variable, necessitating that teachers update their teaching philosophies and methods for disseminating knowledge; and that its variation of online learning, advising that teachers use stratified teaching to increase students' autonomy and learning effectiveness.

Graph Crypto-Stego System for Securing Graph Data Using Association Schemes

Cryptography has recently become a critical area to research and advance in order to transmit information safely and securely among various entities, especially when the transmitted data is classified as crucial or important. This is due to the increase in the use of the Internet and other novel communication technology. Many businesses now outsource sensitive data to a third party because of the rise of cloud computing and storage. Currently, the key problem is to encrypt the data such that it may be stored on an unreliable server without sacrificing the ability to use it effectively. In this paper, we propose a graph encryption scheme by using cryptography and steganography. Data is encrypted using association schemes over finite abelian groups and then hiding the encrypted data behind randomly chosen cover image. We implemented and evaluated the efficiency of our constructions experimentally. We provide experimental results, statistical analysis, error analysis, and key analysis that demonstrates the appropriateness and efficiency of the proposed technique.

Digitisation of Administration and Legal Basis in Kosovo

Background: In contact with modern technologies, public administration transforms, adopting a new look and changing its legal nature to become an electronic public administration. In addition, we can also observe the use of information technologies in the activities of courts. In electronic public administration, which is based on the use of information and communication technologies and the Internet, the underlying working element is information and personal data of citizens. However, new technologies also carry numerous risks for the security of information and personal data used by administrative bodies and courts in their work, which may lead to the infringement of citizens' rights and the public interest. The demand for adequate protection of personal data in relation to administrative authorities stands out as an important need of citizens in modern society, that we tried to illustrate on the example of the Republic of Kosovo. Methods: The methodology employed in this research involves the methods of description, comparison, legal analysis and analysis of data and information collected within the context of Kosovo. The legal analysis in this paper focuses on the content of the constitutional and legal framework for public administration control instruments. The legal analysis pertaining to public administration control instruments is also widely used to clarify the implementation of laws and principles in practice within Kosovo. Through this method, it is intended to highlight the problems during the applicability of the legislation. The descriptive method used in this paper was intended to reflect the current state of public administration control instruments in Kosovo. This article provides an overview of legal mechanisms that can be implemented to stimulate digital administration in developing countries. These legal mechanisms include the development of appropriate legal frameworks for e-administration, protection of intellectual property rights, privacy and data protection laws, and cyber security laws. Results and Conclusions: Electronic public administration in Kosovo represents an altered and modern concept of public administration that has changed the way and purpose of performing state affairs. Technically, it is based on using the Internet and information and communication technologies to conduct regular state affairs and forecast the situation in various social fields. These technical elements have also influenced its legal nature, facilitating administrative bodies in expediting their duties and enhancing the execution of their responsibilities. This evolution fosters a more direct interaction between Kosovo citizens and their state, allowing citizens to gain insight into state affairs that directly affect their rights and interests.

Improving co-creation strategies and competitive strategies to achieve business performance

The foundation of this study is the findings from implementing co-creation and competitive strategies to increase the operation efficiency of wholesale service companies of Information Communication Technology (ICT) of network, internet and infrastructure in Indonesia. It is necessary to review journal papers that discuss business performance in wholesale service companies of ICT of network, internet, and infrastructure. The study aims to find out whether a co-creation strategy and competitive strategy can drive business performance. The research method uses a quantitative approach using data collected using 54 random samples from a population and the data were analyzed using SEM-PLS. Results showed that both co-creation and competitive strategy affected business performance, but the competitive strategy was dominant. The insights gathered from this study should help wholesale service companies of ICT continually enhance their co-creation and competitive strategies, which will boost their overall performance.

Social support via Internet communication technology for diabetes self-management: a scoping review.

The global prevalence of diabetes has been increasing over the past 30 years, leading to a rise in complications; diabetes is the leading cause of amputations, blindness, and kidney failure in developed countries. Diabetes self-management is challenging due to the complex lifestyle changes required. Social support from family and friends plays a crucial role in overcoming barriers to healthy behavior choices. Integrating Internet and communication technologies with social support interventions has the potential to improve diabetes self-management. A scoping review was conducted by searching PubMed, Ovid, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), and Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Digital Library databases for studies combining diabetes, Internet and communication technologies, and social support interventions. Inclusion criteria focused on adult patients with diabetes and primarily Internet and communication technologies-based strategies to initiate and enhance social support. Data abstraction included study population, design, outcomes, social support domains emphasized, support relationship intervention strategy, and Internet and communication technologies modality. The review identified 39 articles and 33 unique studies representing 27 unique interventions utilizing peer web forums, interactive voice recordings, messaging-based interventions (including Short Message Service and instant messaging), and email as Internet and communication technologies modalities. Various outcomes were reported, including improvements in perception of social support, psychosocial well-being, behavior changes, and clinical outcomes. Existing support relationships may be more effective in promoting behavior change and clinical outcomes compared to developing new relationships. Studies that explicitly measured patients' perception of support consistently showed improvements in psycho-social, behavioral, and clinical outcomes. This scoping review highlights the pivotal role of social support in diabetes self-management. By integrating Internet and communication technologies into interventions, diverse modalities such as web forums and text messaging have shown promise in enhancing patients' perception of support and improving psychosocial well-being, behavior changes, and clinical outcomes. The emphasis on leveraging existing support relationships, rather than establishing new ones, underscores the effectiveness of personalized, patient-centered approaches. These findings provide essential insights for healthcare strategies, emphasizing the need to harness technology and existing social networks to empower individuals in managing diabetes effectively.

The Influence of Internet Environment Health on College Pupils' Ideological and Moral Education and Its Promotion

The internet, which is constantly advancing in technology, together with the rapidly changing internet communication technology terminals, has formed a new internet media, which has penetrated into all fields of human material life and spiritual life. This article proposes a design scheme for optimizing the impact of internet environment health on college pupils' ideological and moral education and the promotion path. It summarizes the influencing factors of contemporary college pupils' ideological and moral education through cluster analysis, optimizes the factors using Apriori arithmetic in data mining, and realizes the promotion of the path to solve problems. Finally, it carries out simulation testing and analysis. In order to promote the effective development of college pupils' ideological and political education, we should strengthen the internet management, purify the internet environment, strengthen the construction of “red websites,” and enhance their attractiveness.

Instructional Revolutions in English Language Pedagogical Process

One of the languages that have had the biggest impact on globalization and the explosion of knowledge is English. In the natural world, it is the most commonly used kind of communication. Using technology has become essential to learning a language, both inside and outside of the classroom. Almost all language classes use some sort of technology. The use of technology has helped and enhanced language acquisition. ICTs have a lot to offer teachers and students in language classrooms. Teachers must fulfill the roles of educator and facilitator while students improve their vocabulary, reading, and speaking skills. The use of Internet communication technology (ICT) in English language pedagogy is a relatively recent tradition in India. Technology gives teachers the ability to modify lessons, which improves language acquisition. Technology continues to gain relevance as a tool to assist teachers in facilitating language learning for their students. This study examines the usage of modern technologies in relation to teaching and learning English as a second or foreign language. Using technology, English language learners can improve their learning abilities.

Examining the Digital Divide in Education during COVID-19 from Teachers' Perspectives

The outbreak of COVID-19 resulted in unprecedented school closures in education, leading online education to become “the new normal.” Concurrently, emergency online instruction further exacerbated what is known as the digital divide, one of the contributing factors to inequality of educational opportunities. The purpose of our research is to examine in what ways the digital divide influences teachers and students during COVID-19. A better understanding of teachers' perceptions of teaching online and the digital divide can offer more information for effective teaching during the pandemic. In this multi-method study, researchers collected data from 36 teachers through Likert scale questions and open-ended survey questions. The findings indicated that first- and second-level digital divides are the main problems affecting online education during the COVID-19 outbreak. Some students might not benefit from online learning due to the digital divide. Lack of access to technology and the internet, first-level digital divide, affected primarily students from lower SES. Further, even though some students had access to technology and the internet, students' and teachers' information and communication technology (ICT) skills, second-level digital divide, impacted how they use technology and profit from online education. Teachers need support to improve their own ICT skills, as well as their students, to reduce the impact of the digital divide in education.

Joint Beamforming and Backscatter Communication Design for Symbiotic Radio Networks

Symbiotic radio (SR) is a promising energy-, spectrum-and cost-efficient communication technology for Internet of Things. This paper considers an SR network (SRN) in which backscatter devices (BDs) communicate with a primary receiver (PR) by riding on ambient radio frequency carriers from a primary transmitter (PT). First, both the achievable primary rate and backscatter-link sum rate are derived for BDs adopting spatial-division-multiple-access (SDMA) scheme and dynamic time-division-multiple-access (TDMA) scheme, respectively. Then, two optimization problems are formulated to maximize the BDs’ sum rate, by jointly optimizing the PT’s beamforming matrix, and the BDs’ power reflection coefficients as well as the backscatter time allocation. For the single-antenna PR case, the optimal beamforming is obtained in semi-closed forms. For the multi-antenna PR case, to solve the non-convex problems with coupled variables, efficient iterative algorithms are proposed based on block coordinate descent and sequential convex approximation techniques. Finally, numerical results show that the proposed design enhances the SRN’s throughput significantly, and give useful insights on the BDs’ multiple-access schemes.

Impact of Digital Marketing on Real Estate Customer Patronage in Federal Capital City (FCC) Abuja, Nigeria

Internet, social media, mobile apps, and other digital communications technologies have become part of everyday life for billions of people around the world. It is therefore critical to examine the impact such phenomenon is having the basic essential need of Man (i.e., shelter) particularly in cosmopolitan cities. The study examined the impact of digital marketing on the real estate disposal and customer patronage in the Federal Capital City Abuja, Nigeria. The study adopted survey design. Data collected by the researchers for the study were presented using statistical tools required for data analysis. The Regression Analysis using ANOVA was adopted to analyze the variables of digital marketing on real estate customer patronage. The study reveals that there is a positive relationship between digital marketing and customer patronage. This is evidenced by coefficient value of 0.621. Statistically, the Sig. value of 0.021 is lower than the acceptable significance value of 0.05. Also the result reveals a positive impact of image management on customer patronage. This is evidenced by coefficient value of 0.591. Statistically, the Sig. value of 0.008 is lower than the acceptable significance value of 0.05. The study therefore concludes that digital marketing and image management are the key promoters of real estate customer patronage in federal capital city Abuja, Nigeria. It therefore recommends that digital creative ideas from employees across the organizations is advocated to be given the desired level of attention. This will encourage more digital marketing innovations within the organization that will enhance patronage. Also, business organization should continuously improve the effectiveness of their image management in order to accelerate their overall performance.

The nuances of network sovereignty: A collaborative study of the Internet and ICTs in the Blackfeet community in Montana

Building on research on network sovereignty in American Indian communities, this study explores how the Internet and information and communication technologies (ICTs) are imagined and used by members of the Blackfeet community in Montana. Using qualitative mixed methods, including interviews with 38 Blackfeet community members, the study provides a brief overview of the Siyeh Corporation’s Internet services in Blackfeet territory and presents a thematic analysis of interview data focused on three issues: the Internet as a daily lifeline; peoples’ ideals and standards of sovereignty; and tensions around network sovereignty. The article explores how Blackfeet community members assess their tribe’s moves to assert network sovereignty, presenting a range of opinions regarding tribally owned and operated Internet services. Building from interview data, the article suggests that practices and perceptions of local tribal governance are vital to mounting and sustaining meaningful network sovereignty initiatives.

Cybersecurity, Safety, & Privacy Concerns of Student Support Structure for Information and Communication Technologies in Online Education

COVID-19 has created a dramatic paradigm shift in education methods, which forced schools and universities to abandon the usual in-person education in favor of online education modules. Such a shift has extended the time and use of internet communication technologies (ICTs) by most, making online education platforms primary cyberattack targets. In this context, this study aims to explore parents, educators, and other caregivers' concerns about online education and the cybersecurity of their children and students. Thus, we conducted a survey-based study with 983 participants recruited through popular crowdsourcing platforms: MTurk and Prolific. Our results indicate a lack of technical support following cyber safety that the students received with the sudden transition to online education. Over 31% of our participants claimed that they never or rarely receive any communication related to cyber safety from the students' educational institutions. Additionally, our analysis shows that the student support structure needs to be trained and informed on the threats faced by children online and on the ways to mitigate these threats. Finally, we find a statistically significant difference between parents, educators, and other caregivers regarding their perceptions of children's online privacy and cyber safety. We conclude this work by providing actionable recommendations to promote privacy-preserving and digitally secure online education.

Optimization of smart tourism destination management based on linear regression model

Abstract With the rapid development of Internet communication technology, the tourism industry will certainly transform and upgrade to the direction of wisdom, and the organization and dissemination of tourist destination information will become a breakthrough in tourism development. This paper firstly constructs a tourism management system (DMS) in line with the idea of smart tourism development by constructing a process line from market opportunity analysis, interest motivation analysis, strategic planning stage, strategy implementation stage and evaluation improvement stage, respectively. Secondly, the evaluation model of tourism destination development based on logistic regression is systematically constructed, and the parameter estimation method is used to estimate the value for 8 influencing factors that affect the development of tourism destinations. The results show that through the empirical analysis of the Guizhou smart tourism destination management system, it is found that the AUC value shows an increasing trend, and the 5km grid has the smallest AUC value. When the grid continues to increase, the AUC value shows a decreasing trend, slowly decreasing from 0.836 (20km) to 0.844 (25km). It shows that the intelligent tourism destination management system constructed in this paper is reasonable and lays the theoretical foundation for realizing regional barrier-free tourism and achieving the development goal of integrated symbiosis.

Research on Robust Digital Watermarking Based on Reversible Information Hiding

The development of modern Internet communication technology and the popularization of multimedia technology have brought convenience to the sharing and storage of multimedia information such as images, videos, and audio. However, at the same time, it has brought about the problem of copyright theft of multimedia information, causing serious information security risks. Digital watermarking technology embeds copyright information in multimedia information in an invisible way, which can effectively realize copyright protection and traceability of infringement. Aiming at the problem that the existing learning model-based methods cannot fully extract and fuse the features of carrier images and watermark images, a robust digital watermarking method based on reversible information hiding is proposed. First, a watermark embedding model based on reversible information hiding is established, and the features of the download volume image and the watermark image in different dimensions are fully extracted and fused to generate a dense image with excellent visual quality. Then, a watermark extraction model based on reversible information hiding is established, and a noise layer is added between the embedding and the extraction model, and the attacked dense image is input to the watermark extraction model to extract the watermark. Under the constraint of the loss function, the network model learns to embed watermark information in the area that is more robust to the attack and is not easy to cause visual quality degradation, so as to optimize the comprehensive performance of the method. Experimental results show that the proposed method effectively improves the imperceptibility and robustness.
