Reactualization Islamic Theology in Education: Designing Curriculum, Method Learning, and Technology Integration for Transformation Educative

The development of Islamic education has become the main focus of the effort to formulate return religious teachings to be more in accordance with the demands of the times and achieve transformation in system education. This article aims To explore How Islamic theology is actualized in the aspect of education, considering design curriculum, methods of learning, and integration technology. The method research used is qualitative analysis with studies of comprehensive library. Through a review of in-depth literature and articles, this identifies draft reactualization of Islamic theology in context education and explains the goals and approaches required to achieve it. Research results highlight the importance of the integration of values of Islamic theology in curriculum-relevant education with the demands of the times. Besides that, This review is about using interactive methods of learning, like discussion groups and technology, to facilitate a deep understanding of Islamic teachings. With the integration of Islamic theology in the curriculum, implementing method learning interactive, and utilising technology in a way that is wise and transformational, more educational , extensive and sustainable can achieved in Islamic education.

Effectiveness of an Educational Intervention Campaign on Knowledge and Attitudes towards COVID-19 and Vaccines among Senior Secondary School Students in Kaduna State

The study investigated the effectiveness of an Educational Intervention Campaign on Knowledge and Attitude towards COVID-19 and Vaccines among Senior Secondary School Students in Kaduna state. The study was anchored on three objectives three research questions and three hypotheses were postulated in line with the stated objectives. Relevant literature was reviewed on the key variables for this study. The study adopted a pre-and post-intervention study design to evaluate the impact of an educational intervention campaign on knowledge and attitudes towards COVID-19 and its vaccines among the respondents. The population for this study consists of senior secondary school students in Kaduna State, Nigeria. A sample of 50 senior secondary school students from four selected secondary schools in the state was used for the study. The instrument used for data collection was a pre-post intervention survey questionnaire, a multiple-choice objective test question with four sections: General information, knowledge assessment, attitude assessment, and additional information. Five modules were developed by the researchers covering an introduction to COVID-19, symptoms and transmission, prevention measures, COVID-19 vaccines, and benefits of vaccines. The instrument was validated by one professor and two chief lecturers, and its reliability was tested using a test/retest method. Data was collected through the administration of pre-tests and post-tests. Descriptive statistics such as frequencies and percentages were used to analyze the bio-data of the respondents, while mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions. Kruskal Wallis was also used to test all the hypotheses at a 0.05% level of significance on the knowledge and attitude of the respondents. The findings showed a significant difference in knowledge of COVID-19 and its vaccines by subjects after their exposition to educational intervention. However, the subjects did not differ significantly in their attitude towards COVID-19 and its vaccines before and after the educational intervention. The study concluded that significant differences observed in knowledge levels before and after the campaign underscore the importance of targeted educational initiatives in enhancing understanding and acceptance of vaccines, as emphasized by previous research. Recommendations were made to include the development of targeted educational campaigns by the government that address specific knowledge gaps and misconceptions identified among senior secondary school students, utilization of diverse communication channels and interactive learning methods to effectively engage students.

Identifying Students' Interest in Inheritance of Traits and Breeding of Living Things to Support ESD

The genetic strategy, namely the inheritance of traits and breeding of living things, is a complex material at the secondary school level. The difficulty of understanding the material is due to the absence of discussion of this material at the elementary school level and the use of science terms that students rarely hear. This study aims to determine students' interest in the material inheritance of traits and reproduction of living things, methods and learning resources used, and students' ability to identify the material inheritance of traits and reproduction of living things using indicators of reading ability. The method used in this research is quantitative-qualitative to see junior high school students' interest and identification results. Researchers used data from statistical analysis and interviews with students. Data analysis was done by reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that interactive and varied learning resources, methods, and models can influence students' interests and learning outcomes. Interactive learning models can improve student learning outcomes in the material of inheritance of traits and breeding of living things and help students understand the concept of sustainable development

The Strategy of TPA Educational (Al-Qur'an Educational Park) to Overcoming Noisy Attitudes Childrens in During Jum’at Prayer: a Phenomenon at Mesjit of Yogyakarta

This research aims to explore the educational strategy of the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA) in dealing with children's noise during Friday prayers at the Nur Sidik Mosque, Yogyakarta. Using a descriptive qualitative case study approach, data was collected through observations and interviews with TPA teachers as well as parents and TPA children. The research results highlight concrete strategies, which include interactive learning methods, special activities before Friday prayers, and the application of rewards and punishments that are in accordance with Islamic values. Close collaboration between TPA teachers, parents, and the community is key to creating a conducive environment for the implementation of worship, ensuring meaningful and solemn worship for children, especially in carrying out Friday prayers, and forming a golden generation with Islamic character and noble morals in social life.

Introduction to Sharia Economics and Financial Literacy for Elementary School Students

This research delves into the introduction of Sharia Economics and financial literacy among students at the International School of Kuala Lumpur. Recognizing the importance of financial education and ethical financial practices, especially in diverse educational settings, this study aims to bridge the gap in understanding Islamic finance principles and fostering financial literacy among students. The background of the problem lies in the necessity to equip students with comprehensive knowledge of Sharia Economics, aligning with the multicultural context of Kuala Lumpur. The primary objective of this research is to assess the effectiveness of integrating Sharia Economics education and financial literacy within the curriculum of an international school. Through a systematic methodology, including surveys, workshops, and curriculum analysis, the research evaluates the students' understanding and engagement with Sharia Economics principles and financial literacy concepts. The findings reveal the significance of incorporating Sharia Economics and financial literacy education in the curriculum, highlighting improved awareness and comprehension among students. The integration of real-life examples and interactive learning methods enhances students' practical understanding of ethical financial practices within the Islamic framework. The article highlights modern methodical approaches to the study of "Anatomy and Physiology" for physical education students. The expediency of studying the discipline in higher educational institutions of the physical culture profile is substantiated, and the need to find innovative approaches to the study of "Anatomy and Physiology" is determined. The article develops and presents the structure and content of the study discipline "Anatomy and Physiology" for physical education students. Innovative approaches to the study of "Anatomy and Physiology" in higher education institutions (HEIs) should include such methods as virtual anatomy and physiology, visualization tools that contribute to better learning of educational material. The purpose of the study is to generalize and systematize modern approaches to the study of anatomy and physiology in higher educational institutions of the physical education profile, to find innovative approaches to the study of the academic discipline by students in order to form standardized competencies. The methodological basis of the research is a complex of methods, general scientific methods of research, in particular analysis and synthesis; generalization and systematization; content analysis. Scientific novelty: the article analyzes and defines the advantages of using an interactive teaching method - the case-study method. The advantage of using case methods is the activity of students, the involvement of students in working with information, the formation of skills and abilities to make decisions independently. Virtual laboratories, simulators and computer programs contribute to the successful study of "Anatomy and Physiology". Conclusions: improving the quality and effectiveness of students' training in "Anatomy and Physiology" can be achieved using visualization tools (virtual anatomy and physiology), interactive learning methods - case-study, video fragments from YouTube.

The effect of interactive learning method on nursing students' learning of movement requirement: A randomized controlled study

BackgroundInteractive learning is one of the active learning methods used to develop students' knowledge and skills. ObjectivesThis study was conducted to determine the effect of the interactive learning method with questions prepared according to Bloom's taxonomy on nursing students' learning of the need for movement. DesignIt is a randomized controlled study conducted in May 2023. ParticipantsThis study was conducted with 134 first-year nursing students taking the Fundamentals of Nursing course. The students were randomly divided into control (n = 67) and experimental (n = 67). MethodThe data was collected by using a form delineating descriptive characteristics, a test assessing the necessity of movement knowledge, an analysis of a specific case study, and an assessment form for gathering student opinions on interactive learning. The queries within the data collection form were tailored to align with Bloom's taxonomy. Following the theoretical instruction, each student participated in the mobility needs knowledge test and case analysis (pre-test). The instructional session for the control group involved conventional lecture-style teaching supplemented with a question-and-answer format, while the experimental group received instruction through an interactive learning approach. One week subsequent to this, all students retook the mobility needs knowledge test and case analysis (post-test). Subsequently, feedback regarding the interactive learning method was solicited from the students. ResultsThe knowledge test revealed a statistically significant difference, with the control group exhibiting a higher median comprehension score in the post-test compared to the experimental group (p < 0.05). Regarding the case analysis, statistical analysis demonstrated that the experimental group surpassed the control group in median scores for comprehension, synthesis, and total scores, with a significant difference (p < 0.05). Additionally, most students expressed favorable opinions toward the interactive learning approach. ConclusionsIt is recommended that studies on interactive learning be repeated in different subjects in nursing education.ClinicalTrials.gov ID:NCT05868278

MFIL-FCOS: A Multi-Scale Fusion and Interactive Learning Method for 2D Object Detection and Remote Sensing Image Detection

Object detection is dedicated to finding objects in an image and estimate their categories and locations. Recently, object detection algorithms suffer from a loss of semantic information in the deeper feature maps due to the deepening of the backbone network. For example, when using complex backbone networks, existing feature fusion methods cannot fuse information from different layers effectively. In addition, anchor-free object detection methods fail to accurately predict the same object due to the different learning mechanisms of the regression and centrality of the prediction branches. To address the above problem, we propose a multi-scale fusion and interactive learning method for fully convolutional one-stage anchor-free object detection, called MFIL-FCOS. Specifically, we designed a multi-scale fusion module to address the problem of local semantic information loss in high-level feature maps which strengthen the ability of feature extraction by enhancing the local information of low-level features and fusing the rich semantic information of high-level features. Furthermore, we propose an interactive learning module to increase the interactivity and more accurate predictions by generating a centrality-position weight adjustment regression task and a centrality prediction task. Following these strategic improvements, we conduct extensive experiments on the COCO and DIOR datasets, demonstrating its superior capabilities in 2D object detection tasks and remote sensing image detection, even under challenging conditions.

Teaching Customer Service Principles Using the Massive Open Online Course (Moocs) Platform

This study reviewed the effects of a developing MOOC platform for Customer Service Principles course in higher education. Essentially, the Customer Service Principles course is designed to give knowledge and exposure about the fundamental of customer service and discover how to deliver customer service efficiently across various sectors. The development of MOOC platform is believed to be a role of an interactive learning method to attract and motivates students to clearly understand and to apply this course effectively. The originality of this study is its review the MOOC platform as an interactive learning method specifically for Customer Service Principles course, something that has been unobserved by previous scholars. This study will contribute to the body of knowledge on the effect of MOOC platform and to improve the learning activities for higher education institution.

Assessment of Knowledge of Communicable Diseases Among Medical Students at Al-Balqa Applied University.

Medical education is the foundation of knowledge among medical students. This study aims to investigate the knowledge of medical students at Al-Balqa Applied University, exploring their awareness of five communicable diseases, namely, leishmaniasis, hepatitis B, tuberculosis, measles, and cholera. This cross-sectional survey included 271 participants who answered a structured validated questionnaire with varying questions on causes, symptoms, complications, transmission routes, and preventive measures for each disease. Knowledge of all five communicable diseases was low. Leishmaniasis knowledge was notably low (mean=6.07, SD=1.43), with participants grappling with misconceptions about transmission modes, symptoms, and preventability. Hepatitis B knowledge was also low (mean=10.46, SD=1.67), especially regarding transmission modes, revealing that 76% of students were unaware of how the virus spreads. Tuberculosis knowledge unveiled gaps (mean=7.007, SD=1.90), particularly in recognizing the causes, symptoms, and transmission routes. Measles knowledge (mean=9.56, SD=1.92) indicated a robust understanding of symptoms but unveiled misconceptions about complications and transmission routes. For cholera (mean=14.50, SD=1.98), a knowledge of symptoms was demonstrated, but confusion about causative agents, transmission routes, and preventive measures was highlighted. The findings of the study emphasize the critical need for enhanced educational strategies including curriculum revisions, increased practical exposure, engaging awareness campaigns, and the integration of interactive learning methods to increase knowledge about communicable diseases.

Intertextualizing Interactive Texts for Teaching Synonyms Using Digital Platforms: An Experimental Study Engaging the First-Year Undergraduate Students

With Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) gaining greater attention in English Language Teaching, more emphasis has been given to teaching content-based vocabulary to students. However sufficient attention has not been given to widening the students' knowledge to make them learn synonyms (equivalent words). In this research, we explore the possibilities of teaching synonyms to First Year College students using Interactive Texts. This is done through the use of Mobiles and other classroom gadgets available. Interactive learning methods utilizing Interactive Texts actively engage the learner’s intellect and emotions by strengthening the connection to the content. Beyond the use of traditional textbooks and methods, this methodology includes a variety of tasks that promote engagement with printed materials, such as Directed Activities Related to Texts (DARTs), as well as mobile-based activities that improve students' reading and comprehension skills. This activity-based instruction introduces students to a variety of vocabulary. It enhances their word power by not only teaching them synonyms but also the application of the same in their real-life situations in the most appropriate way.

Pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran Interaktif dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Huruf Hijaiyyah pada Siswa SMP

This study aims to evaluate the effect of interactive learning methods on improving hijaiyyah letter writing skills in junior high school students. Interactive learning methods are implemented through the use of educational technology, educational games, and collaboration between teachers and students. This research involved junior high school students as research subjects, by applying an experimental approach and a pretest-posttest control group design. During the research period, the experimental group was given learning using interactive methods. Meanwhile, the control group continued to follow conventional learning methods. The research instrument involved a hijaiyyah letter writing test before and after the intervention, as well as observations to observe interactions between teachers and students during the learning process. The results of data analysis show a significant increase in the skills of writing hijaiyyah letters in the experimental group compared to the control group. Interactive learning provides greater support for students in understanding and remembering letter shapes, increasing learning motivation, and creating a more enjoyable learning environment. This research contributes to the development of Islamic education at the junior high school level by emphasizing the importance of implementing interactive learning methods to improve skills in writing hijaiyyah letters. The practical implications of this research can help teachers and educational policy makers in designing learning strategies that are more effective and oriented towards student development.

Analisis Perilaku Mahasiswa dalam Menemukan Literatur Rujukan Materi Diskusi Tutorial Online

This research analyzes students' behavior in searching for reference literature in online tutorial discussions, highlighting various approaches used in deepening understanding of learning materials. The results indicate that students actively utilize online tutorials as their primary source to enhance understanding and skills related to the courses they are taking, as well as actively participate in online discussions. However, some students exhibit less active participation, indicating variations in student engagement in online learning. Some factors influencing low participation include differences in learning preferences and time constraints. Therefore, it is recommended to develop clear participation guidelines, provide incentives to active students, and develop more interactive learning methods in online tutorials. Additionally, educational institutions should provide strong technical support to students to ensure active participation. These efforts are expected to enhance the quality of learning and interaction among members of the academic community in online learning.

Developing financial and entrepreneurship skills in the Ouro Verde community, Manaus: an experience report from extension practice with students from La Salle Faculty

Financial education has great relevance for individual growth, because, like other subjects taught at school, financial education disciplines people to make assertive decisions about their money, thus enabling a future and present strategic vision. Given the context presented, the general objective of the research is to carry out an experience report on extension practice with students from La Salle College related to developing financial and entrepreneurship skills in the Ouro Verde community, Manaus. Project that raised the families’ cash flow balance. In-person expository classes, applying interactive learning methods. Where participants obtained material available via PDF so that participants could have access to the theoretical framework. It should be noted that the students were organized into six groups that dealt with: (group 1) financial well-being; (group 2) organization and planning; (group 3) credit and debt; (group 4) future and succession planning and asset and family protection; (group 5) and entrepreneurship. This extension practice presented students with a great opportunity to put into practice the concepts taught at college. The Treasures of Renal Isle: Evaluating a Gamified Module While Enhancing Student Learning.

Nursing education continues to evolve with the integration of innovative technologies aimed at enhancing student engagement and understanding of complex medical concepts. Gamification, the application of game elements in nongame contexts, emerges as a promising tool in nursing education. Faculty members collaborated with instructional designers to develop, The Treasures of the Renal Isles, a gamified module for nursing education. Drawing upon their expertise, faculty provided content knowledge and identified key gaming elements, while designers crafted a virtual world and storyline to contextualize the learning experience. The module was implemented within the curriculum, and student feedback was solicited through the Gameful Experience Scale (GAMEX), a validated tool for assessing gamified learning experiences. Additionally, exam scores were analyzed to determine the gamified module's impact on learning outcomes. Analysis of student responses to the GAMEX tool revealed favorable perceptions of the gamified renal module. Specifically, 77.3% of students believed that the module facilitated their understanding of renal content, indicating its efficacy in knowledge acquisition. Moreover, 71% of students expressed a desire for additional gamified modules, highlighting their engagement and interest in this instructional approach. However, despite positive feedback, no significant differences in test scores were observed postimplementation. The findings of this project highlight the potential of gamification as an interactive learning method in nursing education. While the gamified renal module received positive feedback from students regarding its effectiveness in facilitating understanding, the lack of significant improvement in test scores warrants further refinement. By incorporating student feedback and revising the module accordingly, nursing educators can utilize gamification to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical judgment. The development of additional gamified modules holds promise for enriching the learning experience and preparing nursing students for the complexities of clinical practice.

The article shows actuality, a theoretical substantiation and methodology of using the modern educational technologies, in particular the competitive groups and the project method, to be during teaching of medical and biological sciences in higher medical education. The advantages and main regularities of the interactive learning methods implementations are shown, which allow to qualitatively transforming theoretical knowledge into professional skills, to explore the role of self-education, self-learning, and self-development. The execution of the projecting activity allows increasing the literacy of students in the field of information and communication technologies. Applying of the most effective pedagogical methods that are the competitive groups and the project method in the teaching of fundamental and scientific disciplines ensures for forming the basis of the professional competences of future doctors.

This research aims to explore the effectiveness of using technology-based digital learning media, particularly video media, in enhancing students' motivation in religious education in the fourth grade of SDN 012 Ujung Batu III. The research method used was direct observation with a qualitative approach. The results of the research indicate that the use of video media in religious education is effective in increasing interest, active participation, and an engaging learning environment. In the context of religious education in the fourth grade of SDN 012 Ujung Batu III, the use of technology-based digital learning media has a significant positive impact on students' motivation and learning achievement. The recommendations of this research emphasize the importance of teachers using video media and interactive learning methods to maintain student motivation and create an interesting and inspiring learning environment.

Our research examines the approaches to the formation of professional competencies of future specialists in the speciality “Tourism” in the process of studying the discipline “Market of Tourist Services”. As part of the “Tourism Services Market” discipline, students are offered interactive learning methods such as role-playing games, business simulations, and group projects. This contributes to the development of important skills, including marketing, organisation of travel services and communication with clients. Videos are widely regarded as an engaging and innovative learning tool; however, their use can encounter various obstacles, such as lack of interaction, technical difficulties, and limited access. By analyzing a range of literature, this article seeks to identify myths and assumptions about the use of video in education and to provide a more realistic assessment of its effectiveness. Our analysis reveals that while videos can enhance the learning experience, their excessive use without appropriate strategies can diminish their effectiveness. We advocate for a balanced approach, integrating videos with other interactive and participatory learning methods to optimize learning outcomes. Additionally, this article underscores the necessity of teacher training in the effective use of video as a learning medium. Adequate training ensures that educators can overcome technical challenges and integrate videos into their teaching strategies effectively. The recommendations in this article also emphasize the importance of creating a blended learning environment where videos are used in conjunction with other teaching methods to foster a more engaging and effective educational experience. By providing practical insights and recommendations, this article aims to contribute to a better understanding of how to use videos effectively in educational settings.
