Secure Official Document Management and intelligent Information Retrieval System based on recommendation algorithm

Currently, servers store information from different sources and file types, which are then retrieved via electronic Information Management Systems (e-IMS), with Smart serving as an effective prototype system. Association rule testing and collaborative filtering are implemented to develop a Recommendation System (RS) for Mobile Application-based Official Document Management and Information Retrieval Systems (MA-ODM-IRS) that utilizes data structure and propensities to develop unique recommendations for common users. Reliable and accurate RS, which employs Machine Learning (ML)-based sentiment analysis to classify recommendations and novel performance metrics for target Information Retrieval (IF) from evaluation DMSs, enhances user trust. A recovery method significantly reduces data loss hazards and improves test case procedures for searching in IR, testing Mean Reciprocal Rank (MRR), Average Precision (AP), and retrieved document percentages. It recommends the novel MA-ODM-IRS and discusses the three experimental system iterations. A 0.75% reciprocal rank is better achieved by optimizing the MABIRS discovery process for users. Identifying feasible ideas, designing and implementing testing processes employing UML tools, and assessing the system gave the participants 98.19% acceptance.

Research on the development of literature practice teaching for college students in the context of computer technology

Abstract In this paper, intelligent information retrieval of relevant literary content through collaborative filtering algorithms in Internet technology is used to analyze the similarity between users and, thus, to select similar items in a weighted ranking. The Jacobian formula is used to calculate the common feature values and thus predict the user’s unrated item ratings. Word normalization is performed through information extraction of text keywords to effectively abstract the dimensionality of text features. The results showed that the influence of learning based on language literacy was 0.697, the preference for the literary genre of prose was as high as 49.4%, and students could accept infiltration teaching. It indicates that making full use of Internet technology means can break the time and space limitations in the traditional teaching of literature, provide effective support for students’ interactive communication, expand students’ cultural horizons, and improve their humanistic literacy.

Crop Information Retrieval Framework Based on LDW-Ontology and SNM-BERT Techniques

Currently, on the Internet, the information about agriculture is augmenting extremely; thus, searching for precise, relevant data of various details is highly complicated. To deal with particular difficulties like lower relevancy rate, false detection of retrieval resources, poor similarity rate, unstructured data format, multivariate data, irrelevant spelling, and higher computation time, an intelligent Information Retrieval (IR) system is required. An IR Framework centered on Levenshtein Distance Weight-centric Ontology (LDW-Ontology) and Sutskever Nesterov Momentum-centred Bidirectional Encoder Representation from Transformer (SNM-BERT) methodologies is presented here to overcome the complications as mentioned earlier. Firstly, the data is pre-processed, transmuting the unstructured data into a structured format, thus mitigating the error probabilities. Then, the LDW-Crop Ontology construction is done regarding the structured data. In the methodology presented, significance, frequency,and the suggestion of word in mind are considered to build Crop ontology. In the MongoDB database, the data being constructed are amassed. Then, by utilizing SNM-BERT, the data is trained for IR regarding clustered input produced by Inter Quartile Pruning Range-centred Hierarchical Divisive Clustering (IQPR-HDC) model. The LDW is computed for the provided user query; subsequently, the similarity evaluation outcomes are obtained from the database. The experiential evaluation displays that when analogized with the prevailing methodologies, a better accuracy of 94 % for simple queries and 92% for complex queries is achieved. Along with retrieval rate with lower computation time is achieved by the proposed methodology.

Transformer based contextual text representation framework for intelligent information retrieval

With the advent of transformer-based architectures, the contextual representation of text data has leveraged the query and the document to be represented in low-dimensional dense vector space. These vectors are learned embeddings of fixed sizes, resulting in deeper text understanding. In this study, we designed a pipeline for effectively retrieving documents from a large search space by combining the deeper text understanding capabilities of the transformer-based BERT model and a phrase embedding-based query expansion model. To learn the contextual representations, we fine-tuned a deep semantic matching model by separately encoding the document and the query. The encoder model is based on the Sentence BERT (SBERT) architecture, which separately generates dense vector representations of documents and queries. The study has also addressed the maximum token length limitation of transformer-based models through the summarization of lengthy documents. In addition, to improve the clarity and completeness of short queries and reduce the semantic gap, a phrase embedding-based query expansion model is employed. The documents and their dense vectors are indexed using the Elasticsearch engine, and matched them with query vectors for retrieving query-specific documents. Finally, the BERT-based cross-encoder model is used to re-rank the relevant records for each query. It performs full self-attention over the inputs, and yields richer text interactions to produce the final results. To assess performance, experiments are conducted on two well-known datasets, TREC-CDS-2014 and OHSUMED. A comparative analysis is carried out, which clearly demonstrates that the proposed framework produced competitive retrieval results.

Entity Linking based on RoFormer-Sim for Chinese Short Texts

Entity linking is an important means to identify named entities in text and a key technology for constructing knowledge graphs, playing an important role in fields such as intelligent question answering and information retrieval. However, existing entity linking methods for short texts have low accuracy due to the lack of rich contextual information, informal expression, and incomplete grammar structures. Therefore, this paper proposes a short-text entity linking model based on the RoFormer-Sim pre-training model. Firstly, entity context features are extracted by the RoFormer-Sim pre-training model, and then text similarity calculation and sorting are performed with candidate entity description texts to obtain the corresponding entity in the knowledge base with the disambiguated entity. The experimental results show that the RoFormer-Sim model can provide prior knowledge for entity linking, and the proposed model in this paper has an F1 value of 0.8851, which is better than other entity linking models based on other pre-training models.

FORMATION OF THE KNOWLEDGE BASE OF DIGITAL LIBRARIES BASED ON SEMANTIC MODELS OF AUTHORITY FILES

This article is devoted to the analysis of methods for creating a knowledge base of a digital library based on the semantic model of authority files. The article also describes the practical aspects of creating an electronic library legal encyclopedia based on the semantic model of authority files. Creation of a semantic network of authority files significantly optimizes the quality and speed of searching for resources in electronic libraries and creates the basis for intellectualization of information retrieval. The article examines in detail the existing approaches to creating a knowledge base of authority files, including files based on semantic models, and forming a knowledge base structure. The main purpose of the study is to create an improved model and develop software for creating a knowledge base of an electronic library of semantic authority files for various subject areas. In the article the theoretical research methods (method of comparison and critical thinking) and empirical research methods (data collection and document analysis) have been applied. Used object-oriented programming, intelligent information retrieval, reverse indexing capabilities. The field of jurisprudence was chosen for the application and approbation of the created model and software. A knowledge base has been created that studies frequently used specialized terms and semantic relationships between them.

Study on Library Management System Based on Data Mining and Clustering Algorithm

In order to improve the information retrieval and resource sharing abilities of the library and establish an intelligent library information management system, alibrary management system based on data mining and clustering algorithm is proposed. The system development is divided into two modules: library mining algorithm design and information management system software development. Big data fusion and feature clustering methods is used to design intelligent information retrieval algorithms in library information management to establish library management database. Realizing the development and design of library management system under embedded environment, and finally experimental test analysis is carried out. Results show that the use of the proposed method for library information management can improve the accuracy of book recommendation, which is 16.7% higher than traditional methods on average. It has good data mining, and has good performance indicators in data recall and precision. Therefore, this algorithm is not only a means of automated management of library systems, but also an effective means to realize library information modernization.

Intelligent information retrieval based on Ontology

Traditional search engines can no longer meet the increasing amount of information in today's world, and often face problems such as blurred results and long search times for some queries. And the addition of ontology makes information retrieval more intelligent, so that information data between various fields can be shared, to achieve the purpose of getting the answers users want quickly and accurately. This paper firstly introduces the definition of ontology and analyzes the traditional information retrieval system, and finally summarizes some experimental results in recent years in ontology-based intelligent information retrieval and reviews them to get a more efficient and accurate information retrieval system to achieve the effect of improving the accuracy of search engines.

Drug Adverse Event Detection Using Text-Based Convolutional Neural Networks (TextCNN) Technique

With the rapid advancement in healthcare, there has been exponential growth in the healthcare records stored in large databases to help researchers, clinicians, and medical practitioner’s for optimal patient care, research, and trials. Since these studies and records are lengthy and time consuming for clinicians and medical practitioners, there is a demand for new, fast, and intelligent medical information retrieval methods. The present study is a part of the project which aims to design an intelligent medical information retrieval and summarization system. The whole system comprises three main modules, namely adverse drug event classification (ADEC), medical named entity recognition (MNER), and multi-model text summarization (MMTS). In the current study, we are presenting the design of the ADEC module for classification tasks, where basic machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) techniques, such as logistic regression (LR), decision tree (DT), and text-based convolutional neural network (TextCNN) are employed. In order to perform the extraction of features from the text data, TF-IDF and Word2Vec models are employed. To achieve the best performance of the overall system for efficient information retrieval and summarization, an ensemble strategy is employed, where predictions of the selected base models are integrated to boost the robustness of one model. The performance results of all the models are recorded as promising. TextCNN, with an accuracy of 89%, performs better than the conventional machine learning approaches, i.e., LR and DT with accuracies of 85% and 77%, respectively. Furthermore, the proposed TextCNN outperforms the existing adverse drug event classification approaches, achieving precision, recall, and an F1 score of 87%, 91%, and 89%, respectively.

Application of GIS Technology-Supported Cross Media Fusion Method Based on Deep Learning in Landscape Performance Evaluation.

GIS technology can provide reasonable and sustainable data support for landscape planning and ecological development and make wetland landscape planning consider the spatial layout of landscape and the optimal allocation of resources more. The key technologies of cross media intelligence mainly focus on intelligent information retrieval, analysis and reasoning, knowledge map construction, and intelligent storage. Convolutional neural network (CNN), as one of the representative algorithms of deep learning, plays an important role in retrieving landscape data and extracting image and text features across media. Further retrieval of media data, in-depth text processing, and image feature data extraction are realized by using deep learning technology, and comprehensive in-depth analysis is carried out by combining landscape plane images, three-dimensional images, and vector information in GIS technology. Provide quantitative information for the evaluation system of human landscape, economy, history, and region, so as to formulate a scientific and reasonable performance evaluation system.

Intelligent Big Information Retrieval of Smart Library Based on Graph Neural Network (GNN) Algorithm.

In order to provide users with more humanized and intelligent big data knowledge services, a research method of intelligent big information retrieval of Smart Library Based on graph neural network (GNN) algorithm is proposed. Through the key technical problems and solutions of information recommendation represented by graph neural network (GNN) algorithm, this method explores how the library can realize the management and value mining of big data knowledge services. The research shows that the intelligent information retrieval of Smart Library Based on graph neural network (GNN) algorithm is 80% higher than the previous general methods. Graph neural network is a more advantageous algorithm for node classification, link prediction, node clustering, or network visualization, which is of great help to improve the efficiency of information retrieval.

Understanding dance semantics using spatio-temporal features coupled GRU networks

The efforts are taken for cultural heritage preservation lead to many digitization initiatives. Indian Classical Dance and its tradition has proven historical importance. Computer-aided archiving and preservation of Indian classical dance resources open enormous opportunities for computational analysis. With the help of recent computational advancements in the field of Computer Vision, these archives can be transformed into intelligent information retrieval systems. In this work, we propose a novel method for understanding the dance semantics by making use of the Spatio-temporal variations of dance features. A video archive is created as a part of this work, from live recordings of different trained dancers and clippings from the internet. The Deep Pose Estimator coupled GRU Model deals with the spatial aspects with a deep learning pose estimator and handles the temporal perspective with GRU Network. The efficiency of the proposed method was compared with benchmark methods such as A 3D-Convolutional Neural Network-based Model, Time Distributed CNN-LSTM Model, and Hybrid Transfer Learning - LSTM Model and the results show the proposed method outperformed others even with different video resolutions.

An Efficient Method for Biomedical Entity Linking Based on Inter- and Intra-Entity Attention

Biomedical entity linking is an important research problem for many downstream tasks, such as biomedical intelligent question answering, information retrieval, and information extraction. Biomedical entity linking is the task of mapping mentions in medical texts to standard entities in a given knowledge base. Recently, BERT-based models have achieved state-of-the-art results on the biomedical entity linking task. Although this type of method is effective, it brings challenges for fine-tuning and online services in practical industries due to a large number of model parameters and long inference time. In addition, due to the numerous surface variants of biomedical mentions, it is difficult for a single matching module to achieve good results. To address the challenge, we propose an efficient biomedical entity linking method that integrates inter- and intra-entity attention to better capture the information between medical entity mentions and candidate entities themselves and each other, and the model in this paper is more lightweight. Experimental results show that our method achieves competitive performance on two biomedical benchmark datasets, NCBI and ADR, with an accuracy rate of 91.28% and 93.13%, respectively. Moreover, it also achieves comparable or even better results compared to the BERT-based entity linking method while having far fewer model parameters and very high inference speed.

Sketch-Based Image Retrieval Using Novel Edge Detector and Feature Descriptor

With the explosive increase of digital images, intelligent information retrieval systems have become an indispensable tool to facilitate users’ information seeking process. Although various kinds of techniques like keyword-/content-based methods have been extensively investigated, how to effectively retrieve relevant images from a large-scale database remains a very challenging task. Recently, with the wide availability of touch screen devices and their associated human-computer interaction technology, sketch-based image retrieval (SBIR) methods have attracted more and more attention. In contrast to keyword-based methods, SBIR allows users to flexibly manifest their information needs into sketches by drawing abstract outlines of an object/scene. Despite its ease and intuitiveness, it is still a nontrivial task to accurately extract and interpret the semantic information from sketches, largely because of the diverse drawing styles of different users. As a consequence, the performance of existing SBIR systems is still far from being satisfactory. In this paper, we introduce a novel sketch image edge feature extraction algorithm to tackle the challenges. Firstly, we propose a Gaussian blur-based multiscale edge extraction (GBME) algorithm to capture more comprehensive and detailed features by continuously superimposing the edge filtering results after Gaussian blur processing. Secondly, we devise a hybrid barycentric feature descriptor (RSB-HOG) that extracts HOG features by randomly sampling points on the edges of a sketch. In addition, we integrate the directional distribution of the barycenters of all sampling points into the feature descriptor and thus improve its representational capability in capturing the semantic information of contours. To examine the efficiency of our method, we carry out extensive experiments on the public Flickr15K dataset. The experimental results indicate that the proposed method is superior to existing peer SBIR systems in terms of retrieval accuracy.

Transferrable Framework Based on Knowledge Graphs for Generating Explainable Results in Domain-Specific, Intelligent Information Retrieval

In modern industrial systems, collected textual data accumulates over time, offering an important source of information for enhancing present and future industrial practices. Although many AI-based solutions have been developed in the literature for a domain-specific information retrieval (IR) from this data, the explainability of these systems was rarely investigated in such domain-specific environments. In addition to considering the domain requirements within an explainable intelligent IR, transferring the explainable IR algorithm to other domains remains an open-ended challenge. This is due to the high costs, which are associated with intensive customization and required knowledge modelling, when developing new explainable solutions for each industrial domain. In this article, we present a transferable framework for generating domain-specific explanations for intelligent IR systems. The aim of our work is to provide a comprehensive approach for constructing explainable IR and recommendation algorithms, which are capable of adopting to domain requirements and are usable in multiple domains at the same time. Our method utilizes knowledge graphs (KG) for modeling the domain knowledge. The KG provides a solid foundation for developing intelligent IR solutions. Utilizing the same KG, we develop graph-based components for generating textual and visual explanations of the retrieved information, taking into account the domain requirements and supporting the transferability to other domain-specific environments, through the structured approach. The use of the KG resulted in minimum-to-zero adjustments when creating explanations for multiple intelligent IR algorithms in multiple domains. We test our method within two different use cases, a semiconductor manufacturing centered use case and a job-to-applicant matching one. Our quantitative results show a high capability of our approach to generate high-level explanations for the end users. In addition, the developed explanation components were highly adaptable to both industrial domains without sacrificing the overall accuracy of the intelligent IR algorithm. Furthermore, a qualitative user-study was conducted. We recorded a high level of acceptance from the users, who reported an enhanced overall experience with the explainable IR system.

Human–computer interaction based on the intelligent information retrieval method for customer satisfaction in power system service

The analysis of the information retrieval system focuses on the notion of appropriate and irrelevant documents. The performance predictor, including accuracy and reminder, is used to establish how well the device satisfies consumer requirements. The proposed method concentrates on customer satisfaction, the main success assessment metric. It identifies the collection of related records at a given time within the collection. An information retrieval system’s main objective is to obtain the information. It is either the actual information or the documents containing the information substitutes which completely or partly correspond to the customer’s query evaluation. The extraction and recruitment of knowledge-based data from a database are usually related to the retrieval of information. The retrieval and precise technology are used to assess the efficiency of the data recovery system framework. As a result, HCI-IRM enhances the response time, and the relevance of the outcomes is key to customer satisfaction. Intelligent Information Retrieval for Reducing Missed Cancer and Improving the Healthcare System

This study presents an intelligent information retrieval system that will effectively extract useful information from breast cancer datasets and utilized that information to build a classification model. The proposed model will reduce the missed cancer rate by providing a comprehensive decision support to the radiologist. The model is built on two datasets, Wisconsin Breast Cancer Dataset (WBCD) and 365 free text mammography reports from a hospital. Effective pre-processing techniques including filling missing values with regression, an effective Natural Language Processing (NLP) Parser is developed to handle free text mammography reports, balancing the dataset with Synthetic Minority Oversampling (SMOTE) was applied to prepare the dataset for learning. Most relevant features were selected with the help of filter method and tf-idf scores. K-NN and SGD classifiers are optimized with optimum value of k for K-NN and hyper tuning the SGD parameters with grid search technique.
