This study investigates the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence in academia, with an emphasis on AI integration in education and its possible impact on learning experiences. It investigates factors to consider when implementing AI in education, such as costs, privacy concerns, job displacement, biases, and safety concerns. In addition, the paper examines techniques for effectively integrating AI in education, such as institutional regulations, plagiarism detection technologies, teaching students and staff, fostering critical thinking, peer review, and organizing ethical AI usage workshops. The study presents findings from several studies and underlines the importance of constant monitoring and evaluation of AI systems in educational settings to ensure responsible and productive use.
