Research on innovation and practice in piano music teaching

With the continuous development of art education, the innovation and practice of piano music teachingreceive more and more attention. This study aims to explore how to improve the quality of piano teaching through theinnovation of teaching methods, contents and materials under the guidance of modern educational concepts. Usingliterature data method and case study method, a series of innovative teaching strategies are put forward, aiming at theproblems existing in traditional teaching, such as introducing multimedia teaching resources, organizing interactiveteaching activities, and promoting skills such as impromptu accompaniment. The results show that innovative teachingmode can enhance students' interest in learning, enhance musical expression and creativity, and also help to cultivatestudents' comprehensive musical literacy. These research results have a positive guiding significance for promoting themodernization of piano teaching and realizing the comprehensive development of education.

The Cultivation Model for English Majors’ Ability to Tell Chinese Stories in English

With the acceleration of globalization, cultivating university students' ability to tell China's stories in a foreign language has become increasingly important. This paper explores the connotation, significance, and cultivation methods of English majors' ability to tell China's stories in a foreign language. Telling China's stories in a foreign language involves not only language expression skills but also cross-cultural communication and cultural identity. The study finds that through innovative teaching modes such as project-based learning, cultural immersive teaching, and cross-cultural dialogue, students can improve their foreign language expression and cultural understanding abilities, thereby effectively telling China's stories in the context of globalization. This article presents a research on innovative approaches in English language teaching through the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The aim is to address the issues found in traditional English language teaching methods by utilizing AI technology. The article begins by identifying the problems in traditional English language teaching and exploring the current applications of AI in education. Then, it specifically discusses the application of AI technology in English language teaching, such as interactive listening training, intelligent error correction and personalized post-class guidance, and cloud-based intelligent English translation teaching. Subsequently, a proposal is put forward to construct a new English language teaching system based on AI technology, including modules for engaging explanations, interactive English assignments, and creating scenarios for cross-cultural communication oral training. Lastly, an evaluation method for assessing the innovation of English language teaching models based on AI is introduced, which includes feedback and perceptions from both teachers and students, as well as an assessment of teaching outcomes. The research findings of this article can provide a more intelligent, personalized, and effective English language teaching approach, thus positively impacting the quality of English language teaching and enhancing students’ interest in learning.

Abstract Concept Visualization: Innovative Teaching Mode for Engineering Mechanics Experiments

There are persisting issues in the ineffective teaching of mechanics laboratory courses within vocational education systems. Hence, this study aimed to investigate the utility of finite element analysis (FEA) for developing instructional resources. Solid and hollow shaft models were numerically analyzed to examine their stress distributions and deformation patterns. This digitized content was incorporated into the existing curriculum. An experimental teaching activity was organized and evaluated using questionnaires and instructor-student exchanges. Results indicated that FEA-based visualization significantly improved student comprehension of stress distributions and deformation modes along the shaft. Overall satisfaction with the teaching experiment was 30 out of 33 participants, though this innovative approach enhanced interest, it lacked in fully facilitating positive discussions. In summary, FEA can effectively augment traditional torsion experiment instruction by providing clear, engaging visual representations. Further case studies merit exploration and practice by educational researchers to realize the full potential of FEA for mechanics laboratory pedagogy.

Exploring the Effectiveness of Reverse Engineering Pedagogy in a Culture-Oriented STEAM Course: from Heritage to Creativity

This research innovatively combines culture-based Culture-STEAM (C-STEAM) with Reverse Engineering pedagogy, aiming to explore the effectiveness of C-STEAM Reverse Engineering Teaching Mode on students’ Creative Thinking, Cultural Competence and Engineering Thinking. The study was conducted in an STEAM course of 90 undergraduate students major in Educational Technology. Based on the observation of the pilot study (Study 1), we refined the research design and accessed its efficacy through quasi-experimental design in the formal study (Study2). The results indicate that the experimental group outperformed the control group in aspects of Creative Thinking. Such as the Rationality, Concreteness, Generate Precise Ideas and Improve Idea. Both the experimental and control groups exhibited significant improvement in terms of the Value, Accuracy, and Logicality of Creative Thinking, overall Cultural Competence, Cultural Understanding, Cultural Identity, and Engineering Thinking. However, the two groups of students did not show significant progress in Generate Diverse Ideas, Flexibility and Evaluate Idea within Creative Thinking, as well as Cultural Practice within Cultural Competence. The study underscores the value of the C-STEAM Reverse Engineering Teaching Mode, particularly in enhancing students’ Creative Thinking, Cultural Competence, and Engineering Thinking, which provides a reference example for teachers to cultivate students’ ability. This study makes up for the gaps in C-STEAM related teaching mode innovation and explores possible directions for the future development of STEAM education. Nevertheless, it necessitates further refinement exploration of its internal mechanism.

The Role of Digital Tools in Enhancing the Interactivity of Teaching Cultural Industry Management

With the development of technology, digital tools have become an important part of education, this paper investigates the role of digital tools in enhancing the interactivity of cultural industry management teaching and discusses its impact on teaching effectiveness. 513 pieces of valid information were collected from a random sample of frontline teachers and students in a university in Jiangxi Province using questionnaires and interviews, the results of the study show that digital tools play an important role in enhancing the interactivity of teaching and learning. Specifically, teachers and students identified basic teaching skills, instructional design ability, collaborative teaching ability, data diagnosis ability, and instructional decision-making ability as the main skills required for the application of digital tools in teaching and learning, among which, instructional design ability performs the best in stimulating students’ motivation strategy, with a mean score of 3.938. In addition, multiple linear regression analysis revealed that digital tools have a significant impact on the development of cultural industry management and the development of cultural industry management. In addition, multiple linear regression analysis reveals that digital knowledge and digital skills have a significant positive effect on the interactivity of cultural industry management teaching, and the study concludes that the effective integration of digital tools can significantly improve the interactivity and effect of cultural industry management teaching and promote the innovation of teaching mode.
