Mechanical Neural Networks with Explicit and Robust Neurons.

Mechanical computing provides an information processing method to realize sensing-analyzing-actuation integrated mechanical intelligence and, when combined with neural networks, can be more efficient for data-rich cognitive tasks. The requirement of solving implicit and usually nonlinear equilibrium equations of motion in training mechanical neural networks makes computation challenging and costly. Here, an explicit mechanical neuron is developed of which the response can be directly determined without the need of solving equilibrium equations. A training method is proposed to ensure the robustness of the neuron, i.e., insensitivity to defects and perturbations. The explicitness and robustness of the neurons facilitate the assembly of various network structures. Two exemplified networks, a robust mechanical convolutional neural network and a mechanical recurrent neural network with long short-term memory capabilities for associative learning, are experimentally demonstrated. The introduction of the explicit and robust mechanical neuron streamlines the design of mechanical neural networks fulfilling robotic matter with a level of intelligence.

Engineering Modular DNA Reaction Networks for Signal Processing.

Diversified molecular information-processing methods have significant implications for nanoscale manipulation and control, monitoring and disease diagnosis of organisms, and direct intervention in biological activities. However, as an effective approach for implementing multifunctional molecular information processing, DNA reaction networks (DRNs) with numerous functionally specialized molecular structures have challenged them on scale design, leading to increased network complexity, further causing problems such as signal leakage, attenuation, and cross-talk in network reactions. Our study developed a strategy for performing various signal-processing tasks through engineering modular DRNs. This strategy is based on a universal core unit with signal selection capability, and a time-adjustable signal self-resetting module is achieved by combing the core unit and self-resetting unit, which improves the time controllability of modular DRNs. In addition, multi-input and -output signal cross-catalytic and continuously adjustable signal delay modules were realized by combining core and threshold units, providing a flexible, precise method for modular DRNs to process the signal. The strategy simplifies the design of DRNs, helps generate design ideas for large-scale integrated DRNs with multiple functions, and provides prospects in biocomputing, gene regulation, and biosensing.

Quality and safety of new types of dairy products based on cow’s and mare’s milk with vegetable additives

The modern market of dairy products is quite developed, but the issue of compliance with the quality and safety of their production remains relevant. The purpose of this paper was to study the organoleptic, physicochemical and safety indicators of combined dairy products based on mare’s and cow’s milk using herbal supplements. In the course of the research, analytical and statistical methods of information processing were used; experimental studies of raw materials and the finished combined product, namely the determination of acidity, solids, fat and protein; energy and biological values of the product were calculated. Technological processes of combined dairy products based on cow’s and mare’s milk using a vegetable origin filler were studied. Of the three prototypes of the proposed dairy products, it was determined to recommend samples No. 2 and 3. High quality indicators are observed in them, in particular, a rich taste with a pronounced taste of additional components, a pleasant smell and appearance. Also, the finished product in samples No. 2 and 3 have high safety indicators. Pathogenic and harmful microorganisms and substances were not found, acceptable microorganisms are within the maximum permissible limits. According to the research results, new dairy products are recommended using vegetable raw materials with different fat, protein, energy value, caloric content and lactose content. In the process of writing this paper, indicators of nutritional, energy value and safety of new types of dairy products based on cow and mare’s milk with vegetable additives were determined. Taking into account the research results and the materials of previous scientific papers, authors consider it promising to develop and sell dairy products based on cow’s and mare’s milk using a filler of plant origin. A novel temporal adaptive fuzzy neural network for facial feature based fatigue assessment

When engaging in activities such as using video display terminals, driving, or sports, effective fatigue monitoring is crucial. Nevertheless, obtaining biological information through contact devices may interfere with normal activities. Deterministic expressions in mainstream machine learning have limitations in reflecting the continuous, dynamic, and fuzzy process of fatigue status. Additionally, fatigue is a cumulative process where the previous state impacts the assessment of the current one. To address these needs and challenges, this paper proposes a novel model based on facial videos called the temporal adaptive fuzzy neural network (TAFNN) for fatigue assessment. TAFNN utilizes an adaptive fuzzy neural network as its foundation and employs causal and dilated convolutions for the time information processing method to achieve time series extraction and fatigue assessment. It leverages facial physiological and motion features to minimize interference during assessment. Furthermore, TAFNN introduces a new calculation method for rule antecedents to enhance stability. Experimental results demonstrate that TAFNN effectively captures the cumulation and fuzziness of state changes, outperforming other widely adopted methods in both assessment ability and runtime performance. The improved rule antecedent calculation method successfully mitigates the issue of multiple memberships rapidly approaching zero after combination. Through 1000 repeated experiments, the enhanced method reduces TAFNN’s instability by 81.58%.

Indoor view-based visibility analysis using UAV and TLS point clouds with Line-of-Sight correction

Visibility analysis is a crucial geographic information processing method, used to assess the observable spatial range from a particular location under specific conditions. It has broad applications, such as urban planning, landscape design and environmental research. Laser scanning provides detailed and accurate 3D data for visibility analysis, called point cloud. However, certain deficiencies still exist in current point cloud-based visibility analysis methods. Few methods are developed from indoor perspective and the influence of point cloud void is rarely considered. Firstly, indoor viewpoints are generated based on the windows extracted from terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) point cloud and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) point cloud is used to provide 3D representation of the environment around the viewpoint. Then, a half-sphere viewshed is created for each indoor viewpoint to analyze the visible spatial range. In this step, a novel line-of-sight correction method is proposed based on the semantic information from UAV point cloud, to correct the biased observation distance resulted from point cloud voids. Lastly, the volume of visible space is calculated based on the corrected viewshed image, to evaluate the visibility of each indoor viewpoint. Our method is validated on two datasets. The results indicate that our method enables more accurate simulation of visible space compared with previous studies by considering the effect of point cloud void. The proposed method can support the urban design from the perspective of indoor visual perception and accurate calculation of other visual factors in visual quality evaluation.

Analysis of Feature Extraction Model for Machine Korean Translation Judging System

Language translation is becoming increasingly widespread and diversified as internationalization and information technology advance significantly. Nonetheless, there are cultural variations across different nations, and there will unavoidably be some variations brought on by translation software. While the machine translation system has attained a high level of development, the issues with the older machine translation methods still remain and cannot be fully resolved. The efficiency of Korean-Chinese translation must thus be improved by creating a more effective model for converting translation information. This has significant implications for the development of international relationships, commercial interactions, cultural development, and commerce between China and South Korea. The translation is the rendering of words into other languages so that they may be understood by both individuals. Nevertheless, there are several flaws and inconsistencies in the present Korean-to-Chinese translational information processing method. Thus, this study suggests a Diverse Deep Embedding Data Accumulation (DDEDA) algorithm for the translation framework. We utilized the Korean-Chinese corpus dataset for the research. Utilizing translation accuracy, precision, recall, error rate, and translation time, the performance of the suggested approach was examined and compared with previously employed methodologies. The findings demonstrate that the proposed method has taken 43s for translation.

Prospects and Trends of Digitalization of Project Management in the Region

Relevance. Digital transformation at the present stage in the Russian Federation seems to be a complex and ambitious task, the successful implementation of which depends on the adaptability of public authorities to digital changes and their restructuring to new decision-making processes. Despite the fact that digital technologies were one of the last to enter the public administration sector, their implementation has made it possible to speed up the process of solving large-scale and operational problems. Improving the efficiency of the state and regional management system can be identified as a key factor in the sustainable development of the economy of the Russian Federation. Its stability is ensured as a result of the formation, legislative consolidation and existence of control over the implementation of government programs. In this regard, the digitalization of project management is of particular relevance, since it is the driving force for regional development and is used to eliminate development imbalances. The purpose is to study the prospects and identify trends in the digitalization of project management in the region.Objectives: to consider the concepts of digitalization and digital transformation, to identify the directions of the digitalization process of public administration at the present stage in the Russian Federation, to form ideas about software products to be implemented in the public administration sector and to propose directions for further development of the process of digitalization of the public administration sector of project activities.Methodology. In the process of studying the topic under consideration, methods such as analysis, synthesis, generalization, logical, and graphic methods of information processing were used.Results. Project management of the region seems to be a promising and effective way to eliminate the imbalance of regional development, therefore the introduction of specialized software products with functionality specific to the needs is a strategic task.Conclusions. In order to improve project management of regional development, a comprehensive software product is proposed for implementation. Further development of regional project management is not possible without the creation of a general information system that allows for unified management of all projects in the region.

УПРАВЛІННЯ ВЕНЧУРНИМ ФОНДОМ В КОНТЕКСТІ МІЖНАРОДНОГО ПАРТНЕРСТВА

Formulation of the problem. In today's globalized world, venture capital plays a key role in stimulating innovation and the development of new technologies. The growing importance of venture financing draws attention to the management of venture funds, especially in the context of international partnerships. However, despite the potential benefits of international cooperation, there are numerous challenges that make it difficult to effectively manage venture capital funds in such an environment. The purpose of the article is to study modern approaches and strategies of venture fund management in the context of international partnership with the aim of identifying key factors that affect the success of investment projects, consideration of challenges and opportunities arising from cooperation between different countries and regions, determination of optimal approaches to effective management of venture capital assets in the international environment. The object of the study is the key factors affecting the success of investment projects in the international venture environment, as well as practical recommendations for fund managers, investors and regulators in order to improve venture capital management strategies and increase the competitiveness of international investment projects. The methodological basis of the research was the logical methods of information processing, statistical analysis, comparison. The main hypothesis of the study is that there is a direct relationship between the degree of success of venture fund management and the level of cooperation and mutual understanding between partners from different countries and regions. In addition, it is assumed that the implementation of optimal management strategies aimed at maximizing the potential opportunities of international partnership and reducing risks will allow to increase the effectiveness of venture investments on an international scale. Presenting main material. The role of international partnership in venture investing is studied through the analysis of the impact of international partnership on the development of the venture market and the determination of the challenges of managing a venture fund in an international context. The importance of global pooling of resources and expertise for investing in promising startups and technological projects has been proven. The problems of cultural and legal differences between the partner countries are characterized. Strategies for managing venture assets in an international environment are proposed. Originality and practical significance of the research. The study provides an original perspective on venture fund management, considered in the context of international partnerships. The proposed approach allows taking into account cultural, legal and economic differences between partner countries. The given recommendations can be used by fund managers to improve strategies for managing venture assets in the context of international partnerships. Investors will receive information on the key factors and risks associated with international venture investing, which will help them make more informed decisions about the allocation of their investments. Conclusions. The study shows that successful management of a venture fund requires not only technical competence, but also the ability to work effectively in international cooperation and take into account the specific features of different markets. Recommendations are given on optimizing management strategies and reducing risks to achieve successful investment results in international venture business.

Research on the Processing of Image and Spectral Information in an Infrared Polarization Snapshot Spectral Imaging System

In order to solve the problems of a low target recognition rate and poor real-time performance brought about by conventional infrared imaging spectral detection technology under complex background conditions or in the detection of targets of weak radiation or long distance, a kind of infrared polarization snapshot spectral imaging system (PSIFTIS) and a spectrum information processing method based on micro-optical devices are proposed in this paper, where the synchronous acquisition of polarization spectrum information is realized through the spatial modulation of phase with a rooftop-shaped multi-stage micro-mirror and the modulation of the polarization state of light with a micro-nanowire array. For the polarization interference image information obtained, the infrared polarization spectrum decoupling is realized by image segmentation, optical path difference matching, and image registration methods, the infrared polarization spectrum reconstruction is realized by Fourier transform spectral demodulation, and the infrared polarization image fusion is realized by decomposing and reconstructing the high- and low-frequency components of the polarization image based on the Haar wavelet transform. The maximum spectral peak wavenumber error of the four polarization channels of the polarization spectrum reconstruction is less than 2 cm−1, and the polarization angle error is within 1°. Ultimately, compared with the unprocessed polarization image unit, the peak signal-to-noise ratio is improved by 45.67%, the average gradient is improved by 8.03%, and the information entropy is improved by 56.98%.

At the high school level, students should develop the five basic skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation, focusing on the cultivation of reading ability. Students should be able to read materials about biographies, fables, etc. With the help of dictionaries, students should be able to grasp the main facts and central ideas, and grasp the main logical clues of the material they read. Reading is a complex cognitive process. Reading is an important means of information input and a cognitive activity. Cognitive style is the preferred information processing method in individual cognitive activities, and field independence and field dependence cognitive style are the core of cognitive style. Through the discussion of field dependence and field independence cognitive style, this article analyses the differences between field independence and field dependence students’ learning behavior to explore the influence of students' cognitive style on teachers' reading teaching strategies and reading material choices, so as to improve students' reading ability.

Research on Image Processing Resource Reconstruction Based on Load Balancing Strategy

With the development of intelligent vehicles, the vehicle image processing system has put forward increasing demand for computing resource utilization efficiency and real-time processing. However, the traditional information processing method that binds software and hardware severely restricts the efficient use of image processing resources. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a resource reconstruction scheme based on a load balancing strategy, which can realize unified management and dynamic allocation of image processing resources by establishing a system resource view. Then, this paper builds a physical verification platform and constructs a comparative verification experiment to verify the effectiveness of the resource reconstruction scheme. Experimental results prove that this resource reconstruction scheme can effectively improve the resource utilization efficiency of multi-core digital signal processing (DSP), realize software-defined hardware functions, and optimize the real-time performance of parallel processing.

Sports branding as an object of scientific analysis based on the study of publications in the international scientometric database Web of Science Core Collection

Sports branding is a systematic process of communication with a mass audience, aimed at creating a special sports culture: understanding the need to maintain a healthy lifestyle; maintaining interest in sports activities; formation of a positive image of the country through large-scale events, etc. Branding technologies are currently actively used not only by sports clubs, individual athletes, public authorities, but also by non-profit physical culture and sports organizations. The study is aimed at systematizing modern scientific ideas about sports branding. Sports branding literature included in the Web of Science Core Collection database for the period 2005 to 2023 was examined. Bibliometric methods of information processing were used in the context of sports branding. VOSviewer software was used for visual analysis in terms of publication, author, country, journals, citations and keywords with construction of bibliometric maps, visualization of cluster density, weight - citations. After screening, a total of 388 publications from the Web of Science database were included. The constructed bibliometric maps made it possible to determine the most popular areas of research to study the problem under study: sports branding as an effective tool for forming the country's image; branding of sports events; social media as a tool for sports branding; the importance of brands in the professional sports industry; athletes personal branding. The use of the VOSviewer program, version 1.6.18, made it possible to provide a comprehensive analysis of the problem, to identify priority research areas in this area: the principles of using sports branding as a mechanism for constructing a territorial brand, as well as technologies for promoting sports brands in social media.

Dual-Interference Channels Static Fourier Transform Imaging Spectrometer Based on Stepped Micro-Mirror: Data Processing and Experiment Research

The use of a dual-interference channels static Fourier transform imaging spectrometer based on stepped micro-mirror (D-SIFTS) for environmental gas monitoring has the advantages of high throughput, a compact structure, and a stable performance. It also has the characteristics of both a broad spectral range and high spectral resolution. However, its unique structural features also bring many problems for subsequent data processing, mainly including the complex distribution of the interference data, the low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of infrared scene images, and a unique inversion process of material information. To this end, this paper proposes a method of image and spectra information processing and gas concentration inversion. A multiscale enhancement algorithm for infrared images incorporating wavelet denoising is used to obtain high-quality remote sensing scene images, and spectral reconstruction optimization algorithms, such as interference intensity sequence resampling, are used to obtain accurate spectral information; the quantitative calibration model of the detected gas concentration is established to achieve high-precision inversion of gas concentration, and its distribution is visualized in combination with the scene image. Finally, the effectiveness and accuracy of the data processing algorithm are verified through the use of several experiments, which provide essential theoretical guidance and technical support for the practical applications of D-SIFTS.

OPTIMASI METODE JARINGAN SARAF TIRUAN BACKPROPAGATION UNTUK PERAMALAN CURAH HUJAN BULANAN DI KOTA DENPASAR

Rainfall is a natural phenomenon that depends on many factors that are an important part of life on earth. The high intensity of rainfall can lead to disasters. Therefore, this study aims to forecast monthly rainfall. The data used was obtained from BMKG Bali Province, namely monthly rainfall data for Denpasar City from 2009 to 2019. The method used is backpropagation artificial neural network. The artificial neural network method is an information processing method inspired by the human nervous system. Optimal backpropagation network architecture is needed so that the prediction results have a low error rate, by optimizing the use of training data and test data taken from sample data. Based on the results of the testing and prediction process with the parameters of one hidden layer with 50 neorons, epoch 11 and learning rate 0.01, the results obtained with the MSE value in network testing are 0.037. So it can be concluded that the backpropagation artificial neural network method has good accuracy results used as a reference for decision making in predicting monthly rainfall in Denpasar City in the future.

ТЕОРЕТИЧНІ ОСНОВИ ФОРМУВАННЯ СИСТЕМИ УПРАВЛІННЯ ЯКІСТЮ НА ПІДПРИЄМСТВІ

Creating an effective quality management system is important because it leads to the efficient and successful operation of enterprises in competitive environments. The purpose of the article is to analyze and substantiate the theoretical foundations for forming a quality management system in an enterprise. The research process utilized methods of a systemic approach to clarify the economic essence of the concept of "quality"; historical-economic analysis to examine the stages of quality system formation; methods of information processing; and monographic study when exploring issues related to the implementation of management systems at enterprises. The article discusses the scientific-theoretical aspects of quality management systems in enterprises. The necessity of continually improving product quality and forming quality management systems in enterprises has been identified. The theoretical basis of the concept of "quality" was investigated. The evolution of perspectives on the concept of quality was examined. The analysis revealed that there is no single definition of the essence of quality. Different sources provide different formulations of the "quality" category. The positive impact on enterprise operations due to the implementation of quality management systems was noted. The principles of management on which systemic quality management is based and the stages of quality system formation were discussed. The ISO 9000 series standards system, national standards, and the emphasis on the use of integrated quality management systems were characterized. It was concluded that the implementation of quality management systems in enterprises positively affects their activities, providing advantages, primarily in improving managerial and production decision-making, helping to create a management tool for the enterprise that enhances its competitiveness and ensures continuous development. According to the requirements of international ISO 9000 series standards, the effectiveness of activity in the quality system is assessed by the ability of the enterprise to prevent possible non-conformities.

Особенности формования и трансформации максимального стока реки Миус

Purpose: to study the features of the formation and transformation of the maximum river runoff based on empirical data. Materials and methods. The series of observations of water levels and flows in two existing gauging stations Kuibyshevo (hydrological station 1) and Matveev Kurgan (hydrological station 2) with a duration of 51 years, were used as source materials. Statistical and theoretical methods were used as information processing methods, including system analysis and hydrological and geographical generalizations. Results and discussions. A study consisting of four stages: analysis of hydrographic characteristics, construction of dependency graphs of maximum flow rates Q = f(H), analysis of hydrological series and calculated data, was carried out. As a result of the analysis of hydrographic characteristics, a significant difference in the average heights of the watershed area and the bed slope was revealed. When comparing the maximum parameters by year, it was revealed that the maximum level recorded at the gauging station does not correspond to the maximum flow rate: at the hydrological station 1, the maximum water level was observed in 1979 and corresponded to 2 % availability, while the same year discharge of 151 cubic m/s corresponded to 6 % availability, the highest discharge was recorded in 1970 and was higher by 30 cubic m/s, the water level corresponded to 4 % availability and was lower by 0.49 m; at hydrological station 2, the maximum water level was recorded in 1985 with a flow rate of 202 cubic m/s, corresponding to 6 % probability, the maximum flow rate was observed in 1964 at a water level 0.38 m below the maximum, which corresponds to 12 % availability. Conclusions. The materials presented in the article confirm that the use of the coefficients of variation and asymmetry of one gauging station for the long-term average values of another gauging station is not entirely correct, despite the fact that they are located on the same river at a fairly close distance.

Subject/topic. The article is devoted to the scientific problem of sustainable development of the region. Issues of sustainable development have become acutely discussed in the international community at all levels of government, in connection with environmental pollution, ecosystem depletion, and climate warming. The problems of reducing the quality of life and the economic inexpediency of regional investment projects are added to environmental problems. The subject of the study is a methodological approach to forecasting the sustainable development of the region. Goals/objectives. The purpose of the study is to develop an author's methodological approach to forecasting the sustainable development of the region, taking into account its specific features and taking into account the accumulated experience in this area. Methodology. The research methodology was a systematic approach, which used: a retrospective analysis of significant indicators of regional development, approximation, statistical methods of information processing, correlation and regression analysis. The empirical basis of the study was Rosstat data on the socio-economic development of the regions. Results. The author's methodological approach to forecasting the sustainable development of the region includes methods and techniques for building an economic model and assessing its quality. A universal algorithm for the formation of an economic model for forecasting the sustainable development of the region has been developed. The selection of independent and dependent variables - factors influencing the sustainable development of the region - has been carried out. The presented economic model of forecasting the sustainable development of the region, developed on the basis of correlation and regression analysis, reflects the peculiarities of the development of a particular subject of the Russian Federation. The model is quite reliable from the point of view of statistical estimates, which makes it possible to conclude that it describes the sustainable development of the region with high probability. Conclusions/significance. The novelty of the study lies in the development of the author's methodological approach, which includes an algorithm for the formation of such an economic model, which will identify social, environmental and economic factors affecting the sustainable development of the model region and assess the degree of their influence. As a result, it was possible to identify priority areas of activity of public authorities to achieve sustainable development of the Moscow region. Application. The proposed algorithm for forming an economic forecasting model is universal and can be applied to predict the sustainable development of other regions, taking into account the assessment of the quality of the economic model. The results obtained can be useful for substantiating management decisions of public authorities on the sustainable development of regional systems, forecasting the sustainable development of the region, taking into account its specific features affecting the development of the ecosystem.

An offset contract implies a government contract that assumes the existence of counter investment obligations, both on the part of the investor and on the part of the state. The investor assumes responsibility for the creation or modernization of production on the territory of the Russian Federation, and the state, in turn, creates attractive conditions for doing business. From the meaning and content of the offset contract, it can be considered as a manifestation of the mechanism of public-private partnership, which finds its expression as a result of the interaction of the subject of the Russian Federation and the supplier-investor. Offset contracts represent a promising and beneficial mechanism for both sides of interaction, which allows us to focus on long-term cooperation, which entails the creation of new production facilities on the territory of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as a result, jobs, and an increase in tax revenues. The urgency of a detailed study of the offset contract mechanism is conditioned by the possibility of implementing the plans of the Government of the Russian Federation to localize the production of technically complex products and increase the pace of import substitution under international sanctions. The study presents the advantages of an offset contract in comparison with other investment attraction tools and options for its adaptation in the Kursk region.
 The purpose to study the role of offset contracts in the development of public-private partnership mechanisms and summarize ideas about the future prospects of its implementation in the mechanism of attracting investment in the regions.
 Objectives: to form an idea of the concept and essence of an offset contract, to identify promising areas for the development of offset contracts, to form proposals for improving the stages of concluding an offset contract, to substantiate proposals for the further development and adaptation of this tool in the mechanism of attracting investment to the region.
 Methodology. In the process of studying the subject under consideration, such methods as analysis, synthesis, generalization, logical, as well as graphical methods of information processing were used. 
 Results. The offset contract should be considered as a mechanism for the implementation of public-private partnership, since it meets the set of features inherent in it (attracting an investor on the terms of long-term interaction, the state acts as one of the parties, there is a possibility of exceeding the limits of budget allocations). The obligations of the parties are reciprocal and imply continuous interaction throughout the implementation period. The offset contract has significant advantages for both private and public parties, however, in fact offset contracts have practically not been distributed on the territory of the subjects of the Russian Federation, which is due to the similarity of offset contracts with other mechanisms of public-private partnership.
 Conclusions. It is proposed to revise the classic procedure for concluding an offset contract, consisting of the sequential execution of stages and expand them to include assistance in site selection and assistance in the implementation of the contract with the help of tax incentives, subsidies and infrastructure development. On the example of the Kursk region, the investment component was analyzed, creating the "soil", the foundation for the development of offset contracts. We have formed proposals to stimulate the conclusion of investment contracts in the region by differentiating tax benefits for residents of the special economic zone "Third Pole" who have concluded an offset contract in the Kursk region.
