The Influence of Intrinsic Motivation, Organizational Culture, and Work Discipline on the Performance of Employees in Jakarta BKN Personnel Bureau

This research aims to analyze how much influence intrinsic motivation, organizational culture and work discipline have on the performance of BKN Jakarta personnel bureau employees. Data management uses validity and reliability tests as well as multiple linear regression and multiple correlation using the SPSS 17.0 program. The results of the analysis of multiple linear regression calculations obtained the equation Y = 4.905 + 0.460 X1 + 0.175 X2 + 0.218 X3. This shows that intrinsic motivation (X1), organizational culture (X2), and work discipline (X3) have a positive effect on employee performance (Y). The coefficient of determination (R square) value is 53.3%, this shows that the variables of intrinsic motivation, organizational culture and work discipline contribute 53.3% to the performance of BKN Jakarta personnel bureau employees, while the remaining 46.7% is influenced by variables others not analyzed in this study. The magnitude of this influence shows that intrinsic motivation, organizational culture and work discipline are important elements in improving the performance of BKN Jakarta personnel bureau employees.

Analysis to see the influence between The dependent and independent variables use the Chi Square statistical test with levels significant α = 0.05. The research results show that there is the influence of intrinsic motivation and motivation Extrinsic to the success of exclusive breastfeeding for babies in the Pagal Community Health Center working area. Changes in and Influence of Intrinsic Motivation and Foreign Language Anxiety on English Speaking of English Major Freshmen in China

For English major students, English speaking ability is of great importance, and their graduation and further career all require excellent English speaking ability. As freshmen, when having English speaking courses, students are easily influenced by anxiety and motivation. Intrinsic motivation and foreign language anxiety are extensively researched in EFL, but not many studies focus on their influence on English speaking of English majors or reveal the dynamic nature of these two affective factors. The current study is a quantitative research which involved a total of all 210 English major freshmen from two ordinary universities, using two questionnaires as research instrument, students’ English speaking scores are analyzed with the results of questionnaires before and after they learn their English speaking courses. There are 4 findings of this research: Firstly, the foreign language anxiety negatively influence students’ English speaking. Secondly, the intrinsic motivation positively influence students’ English speaking. Thirdly, there are negative correlation between foreign language anxiety and intrinsic motivation. Fourthly, foreign language anxiety and intrinsic motivation are dynamic during learning process and can be influenced by the course.

The Role of Intrinsic Motivation on Altruism, Civic Virtue, Affective Commitment and Work Engagement

Intrinsic motivation plays a pivotal role in shaping various dimensions of nursing practice. This study investigates how intrinsic motivation influences altruism, civic virtue, affective commitment, and work engagement among Bakti Timah Medika nurses. A sample of 134 nurses was selected through accidental sampling. This research uses a quantitative approach to analyze Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal a significant positive correlation between intrinsic motivation and altruism, civic virtue, affective commitment, and work engagement. Notably, work engagement demonstrates the most substantial impact of intrinsic motivation. Furthermore, this study suggests a potential mediator role of work engagement between inherent motivation and altruism, civic virtue, and affective commitment. By shedding light on the influence of intrinsic motivation on essential work outcomes (altruism, civic virtue, affective commitment, and work engagement) within the health sector, this research contributes to enhancing nursing practices.

This study aims to analyze how much the influence of Intrinsic Motivation, Financial Compensation and Organizational Climate on OCB and its impact on employee performance at PT. Central Mega Kencana. This study uses a survey method by distributing questionnaires to employees at PT. Central Mega Kencana as the respondent. Quantitative research methods with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)analysis techniques with the application of AMOS version 22. The samples in this study were 145 respondents. The results showed that Intrinsic Motivation, Financial Compensation and Organizational Climate directly had a positive effect on employee performance. and OCB has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at PT. Central Mega Kencana.

When Occupational Self Efficacy and Intrinsic Motivation Influence on Job Satisfaction and Job Performance

This study aims to determine the effect of occupational self-efficacy on intrinsic motivation, job satisfaction and job performance. In addition, the influence of intrinsic motivation on job satisfaction and job performance. This research is a descriptive quantitative study made using the structural equational modeling (SEM) method. Data collection was used by distributing online questionnaires. The population of this study are employees of private companies in the areas of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek). The sampling method used is purposive sampling with criteria that have worked for 2 years and over. The results of this study prove that there is a positive influence between occupational self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation, job satisfaction and job performance. Then it also proves that there is a positive influence between intrinsic motivation on job satisfaction but not on job performance.

Linking an autonomy-supportive climate and employee creativity: the influence of intrinsic motivation and company support for creativity

PurposeEmployees’ creativity is critical for the growth and survival of firms. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to propose a motivational model of creativity to address the effect of an autonomy-supportive climate on employee creativity. This study investigates whether this effect is mediated by intrinsic motivation in employees and depends on company support for creativity.Design/methodology/approachThis study used a quantitative approach to collect data by conducting a survey in a developing country using paper-based questionnaires. From 220 questionnaires distributed, 151 usable survey responses were gathered for this study. In addition, structural equation modeling was used to test the hypothesis.FindingsThe results suggest a motivational contingent path through which employees’ creativity would be promoted. The findings indicate that employees in autonomy-supportive climates are more intrinsically motivated and more creative only when the company supports creativity.Practical implicationsThe findings suggest that managers should provide employees with an autonomy-supportive climate. Furthermore, rewarding, recognizing and encouraging creativity in employees should be considered by companies.Originality/valueThis research integrates Amabile’s (1996) model of creativity and basic needs theory to empirically shed light on the inconsistent findings of the mediating role of intrinsic motivation in the relation of contextual factors to creativity. This study extends Amabile’s (1988) model to include an autonomy-supportive climate and explain how and when this kind of interpersonal climate contributes to enhanced creativity in employees. This research contributes to the basic needs theory by demonstrating that satisfaction of basic needs can also enhance creativity. The findings also add to the interactionist perspective of creativity because this study examines the interaction effect of company support for creativity and intrinsic motivation.

The Effect if Motivation on Environmental Management Behavior in Fishers on the Mamuju River Based in West Sulawesi Province

Sanitation management on the river banks is still one of the difficult problems to be handled by the government. This is due to the lack of community participation in maintaining environmental sanitation around riverbanks. This lack of awareness makes sanitation around riverbanks look slum. Given these problems, the researchers conducted a study that aims to see the influence of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation partially on environmental management behavior. Furthermore, to see the influence of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation simultaneously on environmental management behavior on the banks of the Mamuju river. This study uses descriptive analysis with inferential quantitative data analysis techniques. The location of this research is in Mamuju District. The population of this research is people who live around the banks of the Mamuju river. The sampling technique used purposive sampling so that 120 samples were obtained who lived around the banks of the Mamuju river. The results of this study indicate that the motivation and behavior of community environmental management are still in the low category. Furthermore, both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation partially have no effect on environmental management behavior. Furthermore, simultaneously intrinsic and extrinsic motivation also has no significant effect on environmental management behavior on riverbanks.

Relationship Between Motivation and Extrinsic Motivation to Icreasing Entrepreneurship Implementation From SPP AL-FALAH Group at Blok 10 Village Dolok Masihul

This study aims to determine how the influence of Intrinsic Motivation and Extrinsic Motivation on Entrepreneurial Interest in the SPP (Women's Savings and Loans) Group. The research method used is the method of qualitative data and quantitative data. While the data used is primary data. The data analysis method in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis to obtain a comprehensive picture of the influence between the variables of Intrinsic Motivation and Extrinsic Motivation on Entrepreneurial Interest by using the SPSS 17 for Windows program. To find out whether there is a significant effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable, the multiple linear regression model is used. The results of hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis and t-test indicate that: that the t-table value of the Intrinsic Motivation variable is 10,064 > the t-table value (df: 58, : 5%) of 2.0017 so it can be concluded if Intrinsic Motivation has an effect positive and significant towards Entrepreneurial Interest. Furthermore, from table 4.11 it can also be seen that the t-table value of the Extrinsic Motivation variable is 1.224 < the t-table value (df: 58, : 5%) of 2.0017 so it can be concluded that Extrinsic Motivation has no significant effect on Entrepreneurial Interest.

 This study aims to examine whether the effect of intrinsic motivation, verbal communication, financial compensation, on individual employee performance. The research took place at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Bantul Regency. The sampling method was nonprobability, and the sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by means of a questionnaire which was directly submitted to the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Bantul Regency. The number of questionnaires that were processed was 48 questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SPSS 23
 The results of the t-test research. has an influence on Employee Individual Performance (Y), Based on the results of data processing the Verbal Communication variable has a t-count smaller than t-table (1.024 <1.681) with a probability (0.312) greater than the significant level of 0.05, thus Communication Verbal (X2) partially has no effect on Employee Individual Performance (Y). 0.05, thus Financial Compensation (X3) partially has an effect on Individual Employee Performance (Y). And the f test can be seen that the calculated F value is 5.345 and the f table value is 1.681. The value of F count> F table and the sig value of 0.003 <0.05 (α) so that hypothesis 4 has a positive and significant effect on Intrinsic Motivation, Verbal Communication, Financial Compensation, on Kryawan's Individual Performance at the Department of Population and Civil Registration, Bantul Regency

The effect of intrinsic motivation and environmental cues on social creativity

ABSTRACT Motivation is key to the generation of creative ideas, intrinsic motivation is the core driving force of creativity. Researchers believe that individuals with higher intrinsic motivation will produce higher novelty and flexibility. Creativity may also be influenced by environmental cues, which are objects in the environment that individuals can use to solve problems. This study investigated the influence of intrinsic motivation and environmental cues on social creativity and whether there is an interaction effect of intrinsic motivation and environmental cues on the process of electronic brainstorming (EBS). The results showed that individuals generated more ideas (both in quantity and type) when presented with more cues. In this process, the influence of the number of cues on the fluency and flexibility of social creativity was regulated by intrinsic motivation. The more novel the cues, the higher the overall level of originality of the ideas generated by participants. In this process, the influence of the novelty of cues on the effectiveness and fluency of social creativity was regulated by intrinsic motivation. This study offers a fresh theoretical perspective on the complicated relationship between intrinsic motivation and creativity. Furthermore, it provides empirical evidence to inform training on social creativity for university students.

THE EFFECT OF INTRINSIC MOTIVATION AND ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE ON EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT MEDIATED PERFORMANCE AT PT XYZ

This study aims to analyze the influence of intrinsic motivation and organizational culture on employee performance mediated by employee engagement. The object of this research is the employees of PT XYZ. A total of 100 respondents filled out a questionnaire, the sample was taken using a saturated sample of 100 employees. This research was conducted from October 2019 to April 2020 at the PT XYZ office. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling. Data were analyzed using the Smart PLS (Partial Least Square) path analysis application. The results of this study indicate that Intrinsic Motivation and Organizational Culture have a positive and significant effect on performance. Meanwhile Employee Engagement becomes a mediation between Intrinsic Motivation and Organizational Culture on Performance. Employee Engagement perfectly mediates Intrinsic Motivation. And Employee Engagement partially mediates Organizational Culture.

Influence of intrinsic motivations on the continuity of scientific knowledge contribution to online knowledge-sharing platforms

Scientific knowledge contribution to online knowledge-sharing platforms has long been regarded as instrumental behavior based on utilitarian considerations. Employing cognitive evaluation theory, this study examines scientific expert users' behavioral metrics to understand the factors responsible for users continuing to contribute their scientific knowledge for an extended period or a very short span. We found that expert users' intrinsic motivations, which has received little attention in recent studies, constitute an important indicator of sustained online scientific knowledge contribution. Furthermore, although social rewards fail to predict the continuity of scientific knowledge contribution, they prolong the duration of knowledge contribution by enhancing the intrinsic motivations of expert users. In conclusion, a self-reinforcement mechanism underlies the relationship of intrinsic motivation with social rewards, which governs continuous online scientific knowledge contribution behavior.

공행종목 선수들의 내적동기와 스포츠자신감이 스포츠수행전략에 미치는 영향 분석

본 연구에서는 전라남도 소속 공행종목 선수들을 대상으로 내적동기, 스포츠자신감, 스포츠수행전략의 관계성을 규명하는데 목적이 있으며 최종적으로 채택된 269부의 자료를 토대로 SPSS WIN Ver. 20.0 통계프로그램을 사용하여 상관관계분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 공행종목 선수들의 내적동기와 스포 츠수행전략의 관계성을 검증한 결과 내적동기는 스포츠수행전략에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 공행종목 선수들의 스포츠자신감과 스포츠수행전략의 관계성을 검증한 결과, 스포츠자신감은 스포츠수행전략에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The main problem in this research is whether there is an influence of Intrinsic motivation (achievements, recognition of others, work itself, opportunities for development, responsibility) partially on the work performance of employees of Batik Nakula Sadewa Sleman Yogyakarta and whether there is intrinsic motivation (achievements achieved) , recognition of others, work itself, opportunities for development, responsibility) simultaneously on the work performance of employees of Batik Nakula Sadewa Sleman Yogyakarta. The research objective was to partially determine the effect of intrinsic motivation (achievement achieved, recognition of others, work itself, opportunities for development, responsibility) on work performance of employees of Batik Nakula Sadewa Sleman Yogyakarta and to see the effect of intrinsic motivation (achievement achieved, recognition of others, work itself, opportunities for development, responsibility) simultaneously on the work performance of employees of Batik Nakula Sadewa Sleman Yogyakarta. The sample population in this study were all employees of Batik Nakula Sadewa Sleman Yogyakarta which can be said to be 35 employees. Sampling technique is to use saturated sampling technique. The analytical tool used is multiple regression analysis, F test, and t test. The test results with the t test and the F test prove that the Intrinsic Motivation variable (achievement, recognition of others, the job itself, opportunities for development, responsibility) has a positive effect on the Employee Performance of Batik Nakula Sadewa Sleman Yogyakarta..

Collective Intelligence Platforms – Does Communication Improve Performance Under Uncertainty?

This paper reports the results of an experiment that investigates how collective communication on an online platform influences the quality of predictions of uncertain future events and thus the collective intelligence of a crowd in situations of uncertainty. Specifically, individual performance in predicting future events without communication is compared with performance after collective communication. Moreover, the paper investigates the effects of communication intensity on the change of prediction performance and explores the role of knowledge and intrinsic motivation. The findings show that topic-specific knowledge has a positive impact on prediction accuracy. Furthermore, the results support the expected positive effect of collective communication on online platforms on prediction accuracy. Additionally, the findings confirm an indirect effect of communication intensity on the improvement of prediction accuracy via knowledge gain. The influence of intrinsic motivation, however, depends on the topic of prediction. The results complement existing research on design factors of collective intelligence platforms by underscoring the effects of collective communication in large groups and by offering insight into the underlying processes. The results also have important practical implications for the design of collective intelligence platforms in situations of uncertainty. They highlight the need for collective communication to foster high prediction performance. Furthermore, the role of topic-specific knowledge is illustrated and should be considered when designing online platforms.
