The tellurite reactions of coagulase negative staphylococci and micrococci.

Summary. Methods for determining the tellurite reactions of coagulase negative staphylococci and micrococci have been applied to strains causing urinary tract infections in human patients. The tellurite positive strains were assigned to Micrococcus subgroup 3 and Staphylococcus subgroup VI of the Baird‐Parker (1963) classification.
