Analisis Implementasi Pembelajaran Active Learning di Kelas 4 SDN Blumbungan 3 Pamekasan

Learning will, of course, undergo a process of renewal in order to adapt to the demands of current developments, such as the curriculum update carried out by the government in recent years, namely the Merdeka Curriculum. In the Merdeka curriculum, students are required to always be active in the learning process and give teachers the freedom to use any model or method according to the needs of each student. When conducting research. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an implementation of active learning in class 4 of SDN Blumbungan 3 Pamekasan. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, which is an approach that states certain social situations by describing reality correctly in the form of words based on data collection and analysis techniques. relevant information obtained from natural situations involving teachers and students. The descriptive method is a method that examines a group of people, objects, conditions, thought systems, or current events. The descriptive qualitative research technique analyzes the implementation of active learning, namely by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. The results found in class 4 at SDN Blumbungan 3 did not implement active learning because the teacher still used a lecture, discussion, and question-and-answer system in the learning process.

The effects of active learning on students’ sense of belonging and academic performance in introductory physics courses

Research-based active learning strategies have been shown to have positive effects on students’ learning in physics class. However, the exploration of active learning’s impact on students’ sense of belonging in physics classrooms remains limited. In this paper, we present our findings pertaining to students’ sense of belonging in an introductory physics course at a large public research university. This course was taught by three different instructors, one of whom integrated research-based active learning strategies, while the other two employed traditional lecture-based approaches. Our results show a statistically significant decrease in the sense of belonging among students in the traditionally taught classes, in contrast to a modest increase in students’ sense of belonging in the active learning class. Furthermore, we observed a statistically significant gender difference in students’ sense of belonging at the beginning of the course, which was closed by the end of the active learning class but persisted in the traditional classes. In addition, the active learning class exhibited a positive impact on students’ academic outcomes, and this effect was partially mediated by the sense of belonging. Our findings indicate that active learning classes, particularly those thoughtfully designed to foster inclusive environments, may benefit students’ sense of belonging and enhance their academic performance without relying on the use of specific belonging interventions.

THE INFLUENCE OF THE THINK PAIR SHARE LEARNING MODEL IN ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION LESSONS TO INCREASE STUDENT LEARNING ACTIVITIES

This research is motivated by the fact that religious education learning is still carried out conventionally, causing less than optimal learning pressure and low learning activity in participating in learning. This research aims to describe the influence of the Think Pair Share learning model in increasing the learning activity of class VII students in Islamic religious education subjects at SMP Negeiri 2 Bengkalis and the supporting or inhibiting factors. This type of research is experimental research with a quantitative approach. Observation, documentation, and tests are used to collect data. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of this research are the first, from the results of hypothesis testing using the Paired Simple T-Test test model, we obtained a significance result of 0.000 which is smaller and <0.05, so Ha is accepted in this research, meaning Ha is accepted in this research, meaning Ha accepted into this research. that there is a significant influence of the TPS (Think Pair Share) type learning model in increasing the learning activities of class VIII students in Islamic religious education subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Bengkalis. Then it can be seen from the test results that the experimental class obtained an average score of 80.31, which was greater than the control class which obtained an average score of 74.38. others, namely a non-conducive classroom atmosphere, time, and selection of discussion partners.

ASSERTIVE TRAINING THROUGH GROUP GUIDANCE TO INCREASE STUDENT RESPONSE IN LEARNING FOR CLASS VIII STUDENTS OF SMP NEGERI 2 MEDANG DERAS

<p>Responding activities are part of the learning process which is included in student learning activities in class. Many students are just silent and inactive during the learning process in class. Regarding the problem of students' low ability to respond in learning, it has a negative impact on lack of understanding and mastery of learning material and has an impact on student learning outcomes which tend to be low. Group guidance in this research is a process of providing assistance to increase all the potential possessed by a number of individuals and to obtain new information that will be discussed. The aim of this research is to determine the application of group tutoring services to increase student responses in learning for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Medang Sangat for the 2022/2023 academic year. The objects of this research were 7 students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Medangdera who had a tendency to be inactive and did not want to respond to learning. Service implementation is carried out in 2 cycles of group guidance services. The research design in this study is planning, action, observation and reflection. To obtain data and information in this research, observations and interviews were carried out. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been described. It can be concluded that the group guidance service in cycle 1 for students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Medang Sangat went well, there were several students who showed changes in responding during learning activities, but had not yet reached the good category, in cycle 2 showed changes in attitudes that were even better in responding during learning activities to teachers and friends. Based on the results of observations and interviews conducted in cycles 1 and 2, the researcher stated that group guidance services could increase students' responses to learning.</p>

Perception of Primary School English Teacher with Non-English Educational Background towards Pedagogical Content Knowledge

Basic skills and knowledge that must be owned by a teacher is pedagogical content knowledge. Pedagogical content knowledge is all aspects related to teaching and learning activities in class, for example lesson planning, learning design, understanding of the curriculum, assessment, and mastery of knowledge of the subject matter being taught. This study aims to analyze non-educational English teachers perceive of pedagogical content knowledge, and determine the consistency between perception and implementation. This research involved three non-educational English teachers who teach in elementary schools. The method used is embedded mix-method where qualitative data is primary data and qualitative data is secondary data. There are three instruments used in the study, including questionnaires, observation sheets, and interview guides. Based on the results of the questionnaire obtained teachers' perceptions of pedagogical content knowledge is high. Then the results of the observations show very low data. To ensure the data obtained, interviews were conducted with teachers and the results showed that there was no consistency between perception and implementation. The inconsistency between perception and implementation is caused by the teacher's limitations in developing learning designs, the various characteristics and needs of students, and the general use of English by teachers and students because English is a content subject. Therefore, the implication of this research is that teachers can use technology to access learning resources, examples of lesson plans and designs, as well as take advantage of the environment around students.

Islamic religious education learning innovations in strengthening character education in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0

<p>This research is based on the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects in strengthening student character in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul. In connection with this, this research aims to determine Islamic religious education (PAI) learning innovations in strengthening the character of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul. This research uses qualitative research methods, which are delivered descriptively. Sources of information in this research include school principals, teachers, education staff, and students who participate in learning activities in class XI of the Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering Skills Program (TKRO) at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul. The primary data source is in the form of the words and actions of the subject, which is the focus of the research; the rest is in the form of additional data such as documents, photos, and others. This research concluded that the "Kaizen" method, which originates from Japanese, the Japanese concept of Continuous Incremental Improvement, can strengthen character education and become a PAI learning innovation in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The "Kaizen" method includes five stages with the prefix "S": Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke.</p>

Implementation of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Model Using Pop Up Book Media to Increase Elementary School Students' Mathematics Learning Activeness

The aim of this research is to find out how to apply the Jigsaw Type Cooperative learning model in increasing student activity in elementary school mathematics learning. The research method used is a classroom action research method that uses the development model by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The subjects of this research were 32 class VI students at SD Negeri 207/IV Jambi City. Data was collected using observation techniques, questionnaires and written tests. Data analysis uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research prove that the application of the jigsaw cooperative learning model can increase the learning activity of class VI students in the mathematics subject of plane figures. The average results of observing students' learning activity in cycle I was 87.52%, in cycle II it increased to 90.00%, the results of the student learning activity questionnaire obtained an average in cycle I of 60.55% and in cycle II it increased to 89.31%.

Analysis of Learning Media Needs for Physics of Motion Course Based on Android Platform

Teaching and learning activities in the post-pandemic educational environment are already underway in both schools and universities. However, there are also those who still apply a hybrid learning system, one of which is the learning system at Indraprasta PGRI University which still applies a hybrid learning system, namely the physics of motion course. Utilizing Android-based learning media can enjoy learning experiences, facilitating access to various educational resources. It is important to know the needs of students and educators in the process of learning physics of motion to improve the quality of learning, namely by conducting a needs analysis. The aim of this research is to determine the importance of the need for Android-based motion physics learning media. The method used in the research is exploratory descriptive research. From the results of observations and interviews conducted with several motion physics lecturers and observing learning activities in class, the methods used in learning still use classical methods. Learning the physics of motion using Matlab requires a video guide so that it is easy for students to understand. From the results of filling out the questionnaire via a questionnaire, it can be concluded that the results of the analysis of students' needs for Android learning media in the physics of motion course showed that 88.31% answered that they agreed with the development of an Android-based motion physics learning application. So it can be concluded that the development of Android-based motion physics learning media is needed by Informatics Engineering students at Indraprasta PGRI University.

Utilization of CANVA as a Learning Media for Social Studies

The aim of this study is to explain the utilization of Canva which can be used as a learning media in Social Studies (IPS) subjects along with the stages of its creation. The research method used is a literature study. Library or library research can be interpreted as a series of activities relating to methods of collecting library data, reading and taking notes and processing research materials. Canva is a web-based graphic design tool that allows users to create digital and print images by customizing social media pages, enhancing blog posts, and creating printable materials. With the various templates provided by Canva or by designing your own, Canva can be used as a learning medium and make teaching and learning activities in class more interesting.

Pengaruh Merdeka Belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen dan Budi Perkerti Terhadap Keaktifan Belajar Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 14 Tanjungan Kecamatan Simanindo Kabupaten Samosir Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024

The research aims to determine the effect of independent learning on the learning activity of class IV students at SD Negeri 14 Tanjungan, Simanindo District, Samosir Regency. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive influence between independent learning in Christian Religious Education and Characteristics on the active learning of class IV students at SD Negeri 14 Tanjungan, Simanindo District, Samosir Regency, Academic Year 2023/2024. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The population of all class IV students at SD Negeri 14 Tanjungan for the 2023/2024 academic year is 35 people. The sampling is the entire population so this research is population research. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of the analysis requirements obtained a value of rxy=0.476>rtable=0.334 indicating that there is a positive relationship between freedom to learn Christian Religious Education and Character and student learning activeness. Regression test results obtained: a) Regression equation. b) The determination test showed that the percentage of independent learning influence of Christian Religious Education and Character on the active learning of class IV students at SD Negeri 14 Tanjungan was 22.66%. Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=12.152>Ftable=3.32, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The research concluded that there was a positive influence between independent learning in Christian Religious Education and Characteristics on the active learning of class IV students at SD Negeri 14 Tanjungan, Simanindo District, Samosir Regency, Academic Year 2023/2024.

Think-pair-share based flipped classroom: A model for improving students’ learning achievement and self-efficacy

The lack of clear instruction and teaching strategy during the in-class learning activities of flipped classroom (FC) model has affected the model’s efficacy. This study aims to improve FC model by proposing the think-pair-share-based flipped classroom model (TPS-FCM). This study investigates the effect of TPS-FCM on students’ academic achievement and self-efficacy in an information and communications technology (ICT) in education course. One hundred and seventy-three students were involved in the quasi-experimental study. The students in the experimental group (n=91) learned with TPS-FCM, and students in the control group (n=82) used the conventional flipped classroom model (CFCM). Pre-test, post-test, and survey were employed. Results showed that TPS-FCM significantly improved students’ ICT learning achievement and self-efficacy compared to CFCM. Gender was found to have been significantly affected by TPS-FCM in students’ learning achievement but not in self-efficacy. This study recommends think-pair-share (TPS) strategy to improve in-class activities in FC model. Moreover, the study has limitations because of using two different teachers, which might affect students’ learning achievement and self-efficacy. Nonetheless, this study contributed that integrating TPS into FC model improves in-class learning activities. Integrating TPS into the in-class learning activities proved the budding support to enhance the efficacy of FC model. Based on the results of this study, the authors suggested that flipped practitioners can use the think-pair-share strategy to minimize in-class issues, particularly the lack of clear instruction and teaching strategy. Many practical studies of FC model have already been conducted. The originality of this work is in the fact that it proposes a suitable strategy (TPS) to improve the in-class learning activities of the model. The study also explores the effect of the proposed model on students’ learning achievement and self-efficacy, which enrich the current literature.

DAMPAK KECANDUAN GAME ONLINE TERHADAP AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PPKn KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 1 TOMA

The background to this research problem is that online game addiction has an impact on student learning activities. The research objectives are 1) To find out and describe the impact of students' online game addiction on students' learning activities in class VIII Civics subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Toma for the 2023/2024 academic year. 2) To find out and describe how students' learning activities are in the Civics class VIII subject of SMP Negeri 1 Toma for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research uses qualitative research. The research subjects were class VIII students. Research results 1) Addiction to online games has an impact on students' learning activities, because if they are addicted it will be difficult to leave online games, so students who are addicted to online games will disrupt student learning activities 2) Learning activities of students who are addicted to online games and those who are not addicted to online games At school it is very different, those who are addicted to online games often seem sleepy during the learning process, often don't do their homework, are often late for school, and don't concentrate on studying. The conclusion of the research is that addiction to online games has a negative impact on students' learning activities in Class VIII Civics subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Toma for the 2023/2024 academic year. Researchers provide several suggestions, namely 1) Students should reduce playing online games at home, at school and in the community by filling their free time with useful things such as studying or reading textbooks. 2) Teachers should carry out learning that improves students' cognitive abilities, by increasing learning activities that involve students taking an active role in groups, and providing education about the negative impacts caused by addiction to playing online games.

PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBING PROMPTING PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA DAN KEWARGANEGARAAN TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

This research is motivated by the very low student learning outcomes in citizenship education subjects. The reason for the low student learning outcomes is because teachers are only focused on applying conventional learning methods. To overcome these low student learning outcomes, it is necessary to apply an appropriate learning model, namely the Probing Prompting learning model. The purpose of carrying out this research is to determine the effect of the Probing Prompting learning model on student learning outcomes. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The sample for this research was class VII-A with a total of 34 students and class VII-B with a total of 33 students. The instrument used is a learning outcomes test which is divided into two, namely the initial test and the final test and documentation. Based on the results of data processing that has been carried out and hypothesis test calculations, =5.4 and , =1.68. This shows that the value >, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Probing Prompting learning model on student learning outcomes. This is because in the learning strategy there are several suggestions, namely 1) subject teachers should apply the Probing Prompting learning model because it can improve student learning outcomes. 2) there is student involvement in learning activities in class. 3) students are able to think actively

UPAYA MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK BERBANTUAN MEDIA KARMILA

The majority of mathematics learning currently carried out still uses the lecture method so that mathematics learning is meaningless and passive. Therefore, it is important to apply a Realistic Mathematics Approach so that learning mathematics becomes more enjoyable and meaningful. The subjects of this research were students in class IV B at SD Negeri 6 Palangkaraya, totaling 23 students. The aim of this research is to increase students' mathematics learning activities by using a Realistic Mathematics approach assisted by KARMILA media. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research method used is a mix method, which is a combination of qualitative and quantitative. The data analysis techniques used are reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that students' activities when taking action using the Realistic Mathematics Approach assisted by KARMILA media in class IV B of SD Negeri 6 Palangka achieved good criteria. This can be seen from the results of observations made by observers when learning takes place. In cycle I, student activities obtained an average score of 3.7 with good criteria, while in cycle II, student activities received an average score of 3.95 with good criteria. So, it can be concluded that using the Realistic Mathematics Approach assisted by KARMILA media has been proven to increase the learning activities of class IV B students at SD Negeri 6 Palangkaraya.

Motivation involves emotional, social and biological phenomenons, being a factor responsible for directing behaviors and achieving goals. It drives individuals to give their best, doing their best to achieve what they want, overcoming barriers. Student motivation has become a central point to achieve maximum satisfaction, performance and productivity. STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education research provides compelling evidence that active-learning classes improve the overall learning of students. This study aims to understand thru a quantitative investigation how students see changes thru this new active learning students and how motivated are for this kind of changes.

IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE JIGSAW DALAM MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA

The aim of this research is to determine the increase in students' Mathematics learning activities and outcomes by implementing the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model in class XI IPA.1 of SMA Negeri 1 Ampel for the 2021/2022 academic year. The research was carried out in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year for 2 months, namely from April to May 2022. The data collection method in this research used the test method and observation method. Data collection tools include test items, observation guidelines, and test results sheets. The research results are presented as follows: (1) Implementation of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model can increase the mathematics learning activities of class XI IPA.1 students at SMA Negeri 1 Ampel for the 2021/2022 academic year. The student activity score in cycle I was 6.86 (fair), cycle II was 7.43 (good) and cycle III was 8.29. (2) Implementation of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class XI IPA.1 students at SMA Negeri 1 Ampel for the 2021/2022 academic year. The number of students who achieved the KKM score in cycle I to cycle III was 18 people or 95%. Apart from that, the average class score in cycle I was 73.46; in cycle II was 74.62; and in cycle III it was 77.31.

Peningkatan Aktivitas Belajar Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif STAD Pada Siswa Kelas III UPT SD Negeri 022 Dua Sepakat

This research discusses increasing learning activities using the STAD Cooperative Learning Model for Class III Students at UPT SD Negeri 022 Dua Sepakat. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in student learning activities in class III Thematic Learning at UPT SD Negeri 022 Dua Sepakat by implementing the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) model. This research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research were class III students at UPT SD Negeri 022 Dua Sepakat while the object of the research was the Application of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) Learning Model. To increase student learning activities in thematic learning. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions or verification. The research results show that the application of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) learning model can increase student learning activities in the learning process. The increase in student learning activities can be measured from the evaluation of cycle I and cycle II. Student activity in cycle I was 56% in the 'quite active' category and student activity in cycle II was 92% in the 'very active' category. Thus, the research results at UPT SD Negeri 022 Dua Sepakat have been achieved well.

A multi-year longitudinal study exploring the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on students’ familiarity and perceptions of active learning

The COVID-19 pandemic caused nearly ubiquitous emergency remote teaching in both secondary and post-secondary education. While there has been a plethora of work examining how instructors adjusted classes to incorporate active learning during emergency remote teaching, there has only been minimal work examining how such emergency remote teaching may have influenced students’ perceptions of active learning. Here, we conduct a longitudinal multi-cohort study at one institution across nine semesters before, during, and after emergency remote teaching due to the pandemic to explore how college students’ familiarity and perceptions of active learning have shifted over time because of the pandemic. Our results reveal decreases in familiarity with active learning during emergency remote teaching, with familiarity remaining lower than pre-COVID even after the end of emergency remote teaching. In addition, our results indicate shifts in students’ perceptions of active learning, leading to potentially higher student resistance to active learning following emergency remote teaching. We conclude by discussing implications for instructors to better support active learning and promote engagement in active learning classes following the end of emergency remote teaching.

UPAYA MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR IPA DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ACTIVE LEARNING TIPE PEER LESSON PADA SISWA KELAS V SDN 017 RANAH SINGKUANG

This research was motivated by the low learning activity of fifth-grade students of UPT SD Negeri 017 Singkuang Ranch. This study aims to increase the learning activities of fifth-grade students of UPT SD Negeri 017 Singkuang Ranah, which consists of 25 students. The research used was Classroom Action Research (PTK), carried out in two learning cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four learning stages: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques in the form of documentation, observation, and tests. In contrast, the data analysis technique uses qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Based on the data analysis, the results of the learning activities of class V UPT SD Negeri 017 Ranah Singkuang in the pre-action were obtained with a learning completeness percentage of 63.04%. In Cycle 1 Meeting I, with a learning completeness percentage of 67.61%, and in Cycle 1 Meeting II, there was an increase with a learning completeness percentage of 72%. In cycle two, the first meeting also increased with the rate of learning activities at 75.62%. In cycle 2, the second meeting experienced another increase, with the speed of learning completeness at 84.75%. Thus, applying the peer lesson type active learning model can increase the learning activities of class V UPT SD Negeri 017 Ranah Singkuang.Keywords : Model Active learning type peer lesson, Activities learning and Elementary School Students

EFL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS’ STRATEGIES FOR REDUCING SPEAKING ANXIETY

This research aims to investigate the strategies that EFL high school students use to overcome their speaking anxiety in the classroom context in the academic year 2022/2023. This study employed a qualitative method. The data were collected through interviews with three participants from a private secondary school in Yogyakarta and semi-structured interviews were conducted to gain strategies used by participants to cope with foreign language speaking anxiety. The data was analyzed using thematic analysis. The overall results show that the three participants experienced anxiety when carrying out learning activities in class, both when communicating, receiving evaluations, and when taking grades. In this study, it was also found that participants had strategies to overcome their EFL speaking anxiety (i.e., preparation, relaxation, peer seeking, and resignation), which could help them deal with EFL speaking anxiety in the classroom context. Therefore, with this strategy, students can have lower anxiety when carrying out learning activities in class. This research offers some ways to reduce anxiety and enhance classroom experiences. It emphasizes the need for further research on anxiety's broader impact and suggests the role of teachers in supporting students with speaking anxiety.
