Practical exponential stability of impulsive stochastic functional differential systems with distributed-delay dependent impulses

This paper develops new practical stability criteria for impulsive stochastic functional differential systems with distributed-delay dependent impulses by using the Lyapunov–Razumikhin approach and some inequality techniques. In the given systems, the state variables on the impulses are concerned with a history time period, which is very appropriate for modelling some practical problems. Moreover, different from the existing practical stabilization results for the systems with unstable continuous stochastic dynamics and stabilizing impulsive effects, we take the systems with stable continuous stochastic dynamics and destabilizing impulsive effects into account. It shows that under the impulsive perturbations, the practical exponential stability of the stochastic functional differential systems can remain unchanged when the destabilizing distributed-delay dependent impulses satisfy some conditions on the frequency and amplitude of the impulses. In other words, it reveals that how to control the impulsive perturbations such that the corresponding stochastic functional differential systems still maintain practically exponentially stable. Finally, an example with its numerical simulation is offered to demonstrate the efficiency of the theoretical findings.

Practical exponential stability of hybrid impulsive stochastic functional differential systems with delayed impulses

SummaryThis paper is concerned with the problem of practical exponential stability for hybrid impulsive stochastic functional differential systems with delayed impulses, which comprise three classes of systems: the systems with unstable continuous stochastic dynamics and stable discrete dynamics, the systems with stable continuous stochastic dynamics and unstable discrete dynamics, and the systems where both the continuous stochastic dynamics and the discrete dynamics are stable. By using the Lyapunov‐Razumikhin approach, several new sufficient conditions for the practical exponential stability are established for each class of systems. It shows that the stabilizing and destabilizing delayed impulses that satisfy some conditions on their frequency and amplitude can stabilize the systems with unstable continuous stochastic dynamics in the practical exponential stability sense and ensure the practical exponential stability of the systems with stable continuous stochastic dynamics, respectively. Conversely, if the continuous stochastic dynamics are practically exponentially stable and the delayed impulses are stabilizing, then the systems can be practically exponentially stable regardless of the restrictions on the delayed impulses frequency and amplitude. Finally, two numerical examples are presented to illustrate the efficiency of the results.

Practical stability analysis of stochastic functional differential systems with G-Brownian motion and impulsive effects

This article is concerned with the practical stability performance of nonlinear impulsive stochastic functional differential systems driven by G-Brownian motion (G-ISFDSs). Comparing with traditional Lyapunov stability theory, practical stability can portray qualitative behavior and quantitative properties of suggested systems. By employing G-Itô formula, Lyapunov-Razumikhin approach and stochastic analysis theory, some novel conditions for pth moment practical exponential stability and quasi sure global practical uniform exponential stability of G-ISFDSs are established. The obtained results show that impulses may influence dynamic behavior of the addressed system. Two numerical examples are given to verify the validity of our developed results.

Pth moment input-to-state stability of impulsive stochastic functional differential systems with Markovian switching

The paper introduces a unified criterion for pth moment input-to-state stability (p-ISS), pth moment integral input-to-state stability (p-iISS), and eσt-weighted pth moment integral input-to-state stability (eσt-p-ISS) of impulsive stochastic function differential system with Markovian switching under the perturbation of the stabilizing impulse and destabilizing impulse. The Lyapunov function approach, comparison principle, and impulsive average dwell-time method are applied in this paper. The linear coefficients of the upper bound of Lyapunov functional differential operators are time-varying functions, including the case of constants, which advances and improves the existing results. In addition, the same results were obtained by applying impulse differential inequality. At the end of this paper, we use a numerical example to verify the validity of the results.

Razumikhin-type theorem for pth exponential stability of impulsive stochastic functional differential equations based on vector Lyapunov function

This paper is concerned with the pth moment exponential stability of stochastic functional differential equations with impulses. Based on average dwell-time method, Razumikhin-type technique and vector Lyapunov function, some novel stability criteria are obtained for impulsive stochastic functional differential systems. Two examples are given to demonstrate the validity of the proposed results.

Impulsive Stability of Stochastic Functional Differential Systems Driven by G-Brownian Motion

This paper is concerned with the p-th moment exponential stability and quasi sure exponential stability of impulsive stochastic functional differential systems driven by G-Brownian motion (IGSFDSs). By using G-Lyapunov method, several stability theorems of IGSFDSs are obtained. These new results are employed to impulsive stochastic delayed differential systems driven by G-motion (IGSDDEs). In addition, delay-dependent method is developed to investigate the stability of IGSDDSs by constructing the G-Lyapunov–Krasovkii functional. Finally, an example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

Exponential Stability and Delayed Impulsive Stabilization of Hybrid Impulsive Stochastic Functional Differential Systems

AbstractThis paper is concerned with the stability and impulsive stabilization of hybrid impulsive stochastic functional differential systems with delayed impulses. Using the Razumikhin techniques and Lyapunov functions, some sufficient conditions for the pth moment exponential stability of the systems under consideration are established. Based on the derived stability results, impulsive controllers are designed to stabilize a given unstable linear or nonlinear hybrid stochastic delayed differential system. Different from the existing stability and impulsive stabilization results in the literature, the results obtained in this paper shown that the delayed part of impulses can make a contribution to the stability of systems. Three examples are provided to present the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed results.

In this paper, the Razumikhin approach is applied to the study of both p-th moment and almost sure stability on a general decay for a class of impulsive stochastic functional differential systems with Markovian switching. Based on the Lyapunov-Razumikhin methods, some sufficient conditions are derived to check the stability of impulsive stochastic functional differential systems with Markovian switching. One numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the results.

On some stability problems of impulsive stochastic Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with mixed time delays

This paper covers the topic of both the pth moment (p⩾2) and almost sure stability of impulsive stochastic Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with mixed time delays. We partially use a known result on exponential stability of impulsive stochastic functional differential systems, based on the Razumikhin type technique, and extend it to the case of stochastic neural networks using the Lyapunov function method and a Gronwall type inequality. Additionally, we consider the stability with respect to a general decay function which includes exponential, but also more general lower rate decay functions as the polynomial and the logarithmic ones. This fact gives us the opportunity to study general decay almost sure stability, even when the exponential one cannot be discussed. Suitable examples which support the theory are also presented.

This paper is concerned with the exponential stability analysis of impulsive stochastic functional differential systems with delayed impulses. Although the stability of impulsive stochastic functional differential systems have received considerable attention. However, relatively few works are concerned with the stability of systems with delayed impulses and our aim here is mainly to close the gap. Based on the Lyapunov functions and Razumikhin techniques, some exponential stability criteria are derived, which show that the system will stable if the impulses’ frequency and amplitude are suitably related to the increase or decrease of the continuous flows. The obtained results improve and complement ones from some recent works. Three examples are discussed to illustrate the effectiveness and the advantages of the results obtained.

Exponential Stability of Impulsive Stochastic Functional Differential Systems with Delayed Impulses

A class of generalized impulsive stochastic functional differential systems with delayed impulses is considered. By employing piecewise continuous Lyapunov functions and the Razumikhin techniques, several criteria on the exponential stability and uniform stability in terms of two measures for the mentioned systems are obtained, which show that unstable stochastic functional differential systems may be stabilized by appropriate delayed impulses. Based on the stability results, delayed impulsive controllers which mean square exponentially stabilize linear stochastic delay systems are proposed. Finally, numerical examples are given to verify the effectiveness and advantages of our results.

ROBUST STABILITY OF GREY STOCHASTIC DELAY SYSTEMS WITH IMPULSIVE EFFECT

In this paper,we study the robust stability for a class of grey stochastic systems with impulsive effect and time-varying delay.Based on the stochastic stability condition of impulsive stochastic functional differential systems presented by this paper,we first deduce a criterion of stochastic robust stability for such a system by using the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method and the decomposition technique of continuous matrix-covered sets of grey matrix.Then by using the obtained criterion of stochastic robust stability and Dini derivative, we give an exponential robust stability criterion for such a system.The effectiveness and practicality of the presented criteria is confirmed by a numerical example.

Stability of impulsive stochastic functional differential systems in terms of two measures via comparison approach

Based on the Lyapunov functions and Razumikhin techniques, some criteria are established and their applications to impulsive stochastic delay systems are proposed. An illustrative example shows the effectiveness of our results.
