Penerapan Metode Simple Additive Weighting Untuk Menentukan Siswa Penerima Bantuan Dana SMK PL Leonardo Klaten

SMK PL Leonardo Klaten has a program that is held every month to provide relief fund to students. Decision making in the selection process is currently still done manually, thus requiring more time and allowing for inaccurate selection results due to a lack of thoroughness which can lead to wrong targeting. To solve this problem, a decision support system was designed using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method so that the selection process would be more accurate, efficient and easier for the SMK PL Leonardo Klaten to determine which students are entitled to receive relief fund. The implementation of this decision support system has succeeded in displaying a ranking that can be used as consideration for determining students who receive relief fund at SMK PL Leonardo Klaten. The level of match between the results of manual calculations and the results of system calculations is the same and produces an accuracy of 100% which indicates that the calculation of the SAW method on the system is correct.

Trends and Futuristic Applications of Big Data and Electronic Health Record Data in Empowering Constructive Clinical Decision Support Systems

Modern healthcare benefits significantly from big data, electronic healthcare record data technologies, and artificial intelligence, which provide robust tools for the collection and analysis of vast and diverse datasets originating from various sources, such as clinical care, administration, and research. This advancement enables the creation of information technology infrastructures that facilitate the realization of the "Learning Healthcare System Cycle," wherein healthcare practice and research seamlessly intertwine in a synergistic manner. This review focuses on illustrating how the integration of extensive data collections, empowered by big data, can enhance clinical decision-making and advance biomedical research. Most importantly, electronic health records offer several benefits, including heightened accessibility to patient information, enhanced interdisciplinary communication, improved continuity of care, legible documentation, minimized duplication, and increased efficiency. The incorporation of computerized physician order entry within electronic medical records contributes to patient safety by mitigating medication errors and offering clinical guidance through prompts and alerts during electronic order entry. Furthermore, when evidence-based clinical decision support is integrated with electronic health records, it serves as a valuable tool for guiding healthcare providers and clinicians in aligning their clinical practices with meaningful use standards and compliance with quality metrics. This review also outlines the contemporary application of clinical decision support systems in the field of medicine. Its types, their existing practical applications with documented effectiveness, prevalent challenges, and potential adverse consequences. The review concludes by offering evidence-based guidelines aimed at mitigating risks associated with support systems design, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing maintenance.

Implementation of an automated process for Limnospira indica harvesting and culture medium recycling for space applications

Future long-term space exploration missions require the implementation of circular life support systems for the supply of water, oxygen and food from mission wastes. Therefore, separation systems dealing with multi-phasic streams need to be addressed. The BioHarvest (BHV) study focused on solid/liquid separation in space with the aim to demonstrate the continuous separation and harvesting of the cyanobacterium Limnospira indica from its culture broth under axenic conditions. The cyanobacterium biomass is intended to be used for further food processing while the broth free of organic matter and resupplied with nutrients should be directly recycled into the photobioreactor (PBR). In this study, an automated breadboard model based on a two-step process was built. First, a Biomass Harvesting Unit (BHU) separates the biomass produced in the PBR from the culture medium with dead-end filtration. Second, the Medium Filtration Unit (MFU) further treats the culture medium to retain the dissolved organic compounds using crossflow filtration. The performances of BHU and MHU met the requirements in batch mode and in short continuous mode: the BHU was able to retain all the biomass and the MFU could retain more than 90% of organic matter while being permeable to nutrients. The productivity of the MFU was also very good, with a high permeation flux allowing treating the targeted 80 L of culture per day. However, continuous operation of the BHV technology could not be achieved in the long term due to biomass accumulation as a sticky cake with a high specific resistance on the BHU filter, despite backwashing cycles and intense vibrations. Future work shall therefore focus on this critical step, to improve process performance by preventing fouling of the filter sheets.

That is why ensuring fire and industrial safety of oil and gas production processes requires new approaches and solutions.Aim of research: implementation of a decision support system to ensure fire and industrial safety of oil and gas production technological processes.Research methods: detection and identification of defects with their subsequent integration into systems for remote monitoring and diagnostics of technical condition.Compliance with the requirements of regulatory and technical standards in the field of fire and industrial safety, along with the implementation of a decision support system based on algorithms for defects identifying, with their subsequent integration into systems for remote monitoring and diagnostics of technical state in real time will help to ensure fire and industrial safety security and take it to a new level.

Reforming China’s healthcare management in the wake of COVID-19: A psychological well-being perspective

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a reevaluation of global health capabilities, highlighting the importance of prioritizing the welfare of frontline healthcare workers. These individuals encountered difficult circumstances on a global scale, including longer work hours, heightened risk of virus exposure, and substantial strain on their mental and physical well-being. Healthcare professionals in China faced similar challenges. This article discusses systemic issues that have been exacerbated by the pandemic and argues for a sustained emphasis on the well-being of healthcare workers, rather than solely addressing it as a crisis response. Given the increasing likelihood of future global pandemics, it is crucial to emphasize the establishment of a durable support system that can enhance resilience and crisis management capabilities. This study examines the systemic challenges of the Chinese healthcare system, with a particular focus on the difficulties encountered during the pandemic. We advocate for a paradigm shift that acknowledges healthcare workers as essential stakeholders within healthcare systems. The objective is to encourage a worldwide conversation for implementing initiatives that transcend national boundaries, with the goal of consistently incorporating a culture of compassion and assistance into healthcare systems. We propose the implementation of a comprehensive support system that encompasses all facets of healthcare, going beyond the mere management of crises. Our vision is for health systems to prioritize the well-being of healthcare workers and the communities they serve, with a focus on resilience.

Cloud migration framework clustering method for social decision support in modernizing the legacy system

AbstractCloud solutions accelerate the large‐scale acceptance of IoT projects. By diminishing the need for maintaining on‐premises infrastructure, the cloud has enabled corporations to surpass the traditional applications of IoT (e.g., in‐home appliances) and opened the doors for large‐scale deployment of IoT applications on the cloud. However, shifting legacy systems to the cloud environment can be considerably difficult. Accordingly, this article proposes a method that may support organizations in deciding to modernize their legacy systems. The main concept of this study is to discuss the modernization strategies in detail and to support organizations in selecting the most accurate and appropriate cloud migration strategy, based on their requirements of the legacy system. This article introduces a novel research process, called the K‐means cosine cloud clustering method (K3CM). K3CM is a statistical knowledge‐based method for identifying and clustering the most relevant and similar cloud migration strategies. The quality of a cluster is evaluated by measuring intra‐cohesiveness. Simulation experiments statistically analyzed, evaluated, and verified the quality of K3CM clusters. Correspondence analysis explored the similarity and relationship among cloud migration frameworks and validated the proposed technique. The statistical and simulation results of this study focus on the analytics and decision support system implementation that provides a reliable, valid, and robust clustering method for modernizing the legacy system.

Sexual exploitation of children and adolescents: a systematic review

The sexual exploitation of children and adolescents is a diverse criminal action, based on inequality of power and the violation of the bodies of girls and boys who are widely used as commodities in the sex trade. This systematic review study aims to identify elements related to sexual exploitation of young people. The PICO search strategy was used to carry out the systematic review on the Medline, BVS, PubMed and SciElo journals. The inclusion criteria were original articles on women who have been sexually exploited, published between 2010 and 2022, in Portuguese, Spanish and English. A total of 5218 studies were found, of which 256 were read in full by two independent examiners, resulting in the selection of 27 articles for analysis. There was a need for greater monitoring of the reality of children and adolescents, with the implementation of support systems. A debate on the objectification of the female body and the empowerment of girls and their sexual and reproductive rights is suggested, and the topic could even be included on school agendas.

COMPLEX SUPPORT SYSTEMS FOR THE ACCEPTANCE OF INNOVATIVE DECISIONS IN ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Systematic approaches to the selection of innovative technologies for environmental protection are investigated. The features and directions of ensuring environmental safety are considered by means of a substantiated method of selecting innovative technologies. A method is used that substantiates the procedure for determining the relative importance of criteria and indicators of environmental protection technologies and methods using the program-analytical method. The basic and fundamental principles of project activities are well developed by specialists, but the practical orientation, application of aspects and algorithms for the implementation of these innovative decision support systems at the level of project activities at the regional level need further development. Decision support systems in the design of innovative environmental protection technologies will increase the complexity and effectiveness of solutions to improve environmental safety. According to the developed approach, criteria formulated as influencing groups of factors. Relevant experts, relying on various types of information on the specific purpose and innovative ecological solutions, give their own judgments regarding the priority of the advantages of the specified criteria. Expert judgments are processed according to the formal procedure of the MAI, which is implemented on a computer, and is the basis for decision-making when choosing the innovative ecological solutions in specific conditions. The criteria hierarchical structure of innovative ecological solutions is represented by a sequence of actions that include the following stages: development of elements of a methodical approach; verification of the consistency of the proposed hierarchical structure for determining priority technologies based on the input data of several objects of settlements; obtaining data on the priority of innovative ecological solutions for implementation on these objects. The advantages of the proposed methodical approach should include the possibility to link to a single algorithm for the justification of the required decision data that differ both in their content and in the form of presentation. Implementation of complex support systems for making innovative decisions in nature protection activities will increase the complexity and effectiveness of decisions to ensure environmental safety. The Feasibility of Spiritual Counseling for Child Victims in the Turkish Legal Support System

In judicial processes, giving value to and providing support for the victim is a new understanding. With the acceptance of child protection laws and the implementation of the judicial support system in our country, the protection and rehabilitation of children are ensured by laws. The measures to be applied for children and the procedures for adjudication are determined by laws. Cases involving children can be categorized into two main groups: civil and criminal proceedings, which can vary significantly from divorce to guardianship, from ordinary crimes to severe offenses like abuse. Additionally, children can be involved in judicial processes as victims, plaintiffs, witnesses, or offenders. To support children in these processes, judicial support specialists are assigned to accompany and assist them. This is because the judicial process can be traumatic and cause secondary trauma for children. This paper will question the feasibility of providing spiritual counseling within the scope of help activities designed and envisaged for children in the victim position during the judicial process, rather than focusing on child adjudication procedures. Spirituality is a concept that individuals may need at any time and is known to be an internal resource that provides strength during difficult times. The attitudes and competencies of judicial support specialists are important regarding spiritual counseling, but the feasibility of spiritual counseling within the legal framework points to a structural issue. Indeed, this subject has academic, public, and practical dimensions. In the academic dimension, field research and theoretical and practical aspects highlight scientific knowledge, while in the public dimension, legal and institutional regulations ensure the implementation and effectiveness of services for victimized children. In practice, there are both public and academic practices. In this study, by using the documentation method, laws, regulations, and legislation related to the judicial support system were examined, and the feasibility of spiritual counseling for victimized children within the judicial support system was analyzed. As a result, even though there is no explicit provision in the legislation, spiritual counseling can be implemented within the scope of preventive measures and activities. However, it was found that this implementation may encounter difficulties and that the institutions and specialists involved may need to take individual initiatives and responsibilities. Therefore, it is evaluated that specialized laws, institutions, and academic studies are necessary for the implementation of spiritual counseling for victimized children.

STUDENTSKO SAGORIJEVANJE: IZAZOV SVEUČILIŠTIMA

The aim of this paper is to examine the presence and types of manifestations of student burnout in Croatian students, but also the opportunities for improvement and implementation of adequate prevention measures and support systems. To conduct the research of this paper, a questionnaire on student burnout was prepared and filled out online by N = 897 students, 723 of which were females and 174 were males, from six Croatian universities: University of Zagreb, University of Rijeka, University of Osijek, University of Dubrovnik, University of Zadar and University of Pula. The results of the research indicate the existence of the first component of student burnout among respondents which is exhaustion due to academic tasks, but there is a low level of cynical and separate attitudes towards study and feelings of inadequacy as a student. However, 77.5% of respondents believe they have gone through or are still going through student burnout. The results also implicate a statistically significant difference between the manifestation of student burnout and gender, age, level and type of study and year of study, but no statistically significant difference was found between the occurrence of student burnout and average grade, university and financial support (receiving scholarships and places of residence). The paper also presents the qualitative answers of the respondents aimed at preventing and reducing the incidence of student burnout among Croatian students.

Activities of the Japan Council for Implementation of the Maternal Emergency Life Support System reduced direct causes of maternal deaths in Japan.

Here, we aimed to provide an overview of Japan Council for the Implementation of the Maternal Emergency Life-Saving System (J-CIMELS) and its simulation program, which has reduced maternal mortality due to direct causes in Japan. The Japan Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (JAOG), Japan Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and Maternal Death Exploratory Committee (JMDEC) launched the Maternal Death Reporting Project in 2010. The project analyzed obstetricians' tendency to delay their initial response to sudden maternal deterioration. Obstetricians can predict small changes before deterioration by monitoring vital signs. In 2015, the J-CIMELS was established to provide practical education. J-CIMELS developed a simulation program (J-MELS; Japan Maternal Emergency Life Support) to ensure that the obstetricians acquire the latest knowledge of emergency physicians, anesthesiologists, and other general practitioners and apply it in clinical situations. In the last 7 years, the J-MELS basic course has been conducted 1000 times with a total attendance of 19 890 people. As a result, the incidence of obstetric hemorrhage progressively decreased from 29% in 2010 to 7% in 2020. We believe that the activities of J-CIMELS are improving obstetric care providers' medical practices in Japan.

Hit or miss: A decision support system framework for signing new musical talent

In the music industry, the process of signing new musical talent is one of the most complex decision-making problems. The decision, which is generally made by an artist and repertoire (A&R) team, involves consideration of various quantitative and qualitative criteria, and usually results in a low success rate. We conducted a series of mental model interviews with the aim of developing a decision support framework for A&R teams. This framework was validated by creating a decision support system that utilises multi-criteria decision analysis to support decision-making. Our framework and subsequent implementation of the decision support system involving decision rule and weighted sum methods show an improvement in the ability to analyse and decide on greater amounts of talent. This paper serves as a building block for developing systems to aid in this complex decision-making problem.

Impact of a digitized workflow for knee endoprothesis implantations on hospital-specific ratios.

The continuous decrease of healthcare resources requires hospitals to improve efficiency while striving to improve quality standards that deliver better patient outcomes. The objective of this study was to analyze whether the implementation of digital support systems during orthopedic surgery positively affected clinical processes and quality ratios. A retrospective case-control study of 297 knee joint replacement procedures was conducted between 2015 and 2020. Thirty-five patients were allocated to the treatment and control groups after they were identified with exact matching and estimation of the propensity score. Both groups were balanced regarding the selected covariates. The effect of the surgical procedure manager (SPM) on the incidence of acute haemorrhagic anaemia between the two groups was evaluated with a t-test, and the odds ratio was calculated. SPM-supported surgery has no significant influence on the incidence of acute haemorrhagic anaemia but leads to significantly shorter hospital stay (1.93 days), changeover (4.14 minutes) and recovery room time (20.20 minutes). In addition, it reduces the standard deviation of operation room times. The study concludes that SPM enhances surgical efficiency and maintains quality outcomes. To overcome their increasing financial pressure hospital management should commercially evaluate the implementation of digital support systems.

Design and implementation of a decision support system for flood management

This work deals with the design and implementation of a decision support system for flood management. In the society today emergency issues arises due to terrorist attack, flood disaster, epidemics, widespread massive riot etc. In other to handle this situation government has established a number of agents supported by Non-governmental organization (NGO). Due to non-existence of integrated database and communication support system for managing flood emergency has resulted to poor handling, huge losses and reoccurrences. This work involves managing the inter operations/ interlinks of flood incidents sources by the handling agents, design of database report format and communication media for the system automation. In other to solve this problem waterfall methodology was adopted in this study. The programming tool adopted was adobe dreamer. Its host has front end and back end. The front end is the user interface and serves as a channel through which users communicates to the system. Adobe dreamer being the tools used for building such web-based application supports many mark-up languages like HTML, CSS and Java script. The most common available tools for the development of this system is the Adobe Dream waver which is IDE (integrated Development Environment. It is a creation management tool and requires no programming language and good enough for experienced website developers.

IoT-based Hybrid Wireless Network for Tourist Boat Tracking towards Smart Cities

Moving and transporting by canoe and boat on rivers and canals is a cultural feature of the Mekong Delta and plays an important role in the economy and society. However, the management and use of equipment to support the monitoring of waterway transport vehicles in this area has yet to receive adequate investment and attention. Given the complicated evolution of the COVID-19 epidemic, it is critical to strengthen oversight of inland waterway management, as well as freight and passenger transportation. This paper presents the design and implementation of an IoT-based support system for managing and monitoring passenger ships and tourism activities in smart cities. This study proposes a hybrid wireless communication network solution that takes advantage of the strengths of LoRa and Zigbee wireless communication technologies, as well as telecommunication networks, to ensure that the system has a wide operating range of several kilometers, low power consumption, and can be deployed in areas where telecommunications are not available. Aside from tracking the journey and managing information about vehicles, drivers, and passengers, the system also aids in the collection of environmental parameters along river routes according to the travel route. An experimental evaluation of the system's operation was carried out for the tourist boat route between two famous tourist sites, Ninh Kieu Key and Cai Rang floating market in Can Tho city, Vietnam.

Implementation of Complex Life Support System for Reef Fish Communities in Cylindrical Oceanariums

The schooling aquarium is cylindrical public oceanarium facilities with 137,000 l volume at PIAMARI Aquarium, Pangandaran. There are not many discussions related to oceanariums in Indonesia and this paper describes the live support system design, biota communities, and management of fish keeping in a oceanarium. Inventarisation of fish species composition, plankton, ectoparasites, and diseases was conducted in this oceanarium, The Oceanarium uses artificial lighting and a recirculation system with a sump equipped with physical, biological, protein skimmers, and ozone generators. Partial water change is applied to maintain the water quality. This oceanarium is a place for 16 fish species types of omnivores, planktivores, and herbivorous originate from Pangandaran waters and belong to IUCN LC conservation status. The fish is well adapted to the oceanarium environment, and each species has different behaviors.. Ten genus of plankton were identified in the oceanarium with diversity belonging to the medium category and become the highest compared to other oceanariums in the PIAMARI environment. Trichodesmium sp. was the highest abundance of plankton genus in the oceanarium. There is a low parasite infestation of Neobenedia sp. in 3 fish species from 2 families (Chaetodontidae and Siganidae). The introduction of coral in the schooling aquarium can be considered by increasing the biological filtration of the sump.

Factors influencing the implementation of decision support systems for antibiotic prescription in hospitals: a systematic review

BackgroundAntibiotic resistance is a major health threat. Inappropriate antibiotic use has been shown to be an important determinant of the emergence of antibiotic resistance. Decision support systems for antimicrobial management can support clinicians to optimize antibiotic prescription.ObjectiveThe aim of this systematic review is to identify factors influencing the implementation of decision support systems for antibiotic prescription in hospitals.MethodsA systematic search of factors impeding or facilitating successful implementation of decision support systems for antibiotic prescription was performed in January 2022 in the databases PubMed, Web of Science and The Cochrane Library. Only studies were included which comprised decision support systems in hospitals for prescribing antibiotic therapy, published in English with a qualitative, quantitative or mixed-methods study design and between 2011 and 2021. Factors influencing the implementation were identified through text analysis by two reviewers.ResultsA total of 14 publications were identified matching the inclusion criteria. The majority of factors relate to technological and organizational aspects of decision support system implementation. Some factors include the integration of the decision support systems into existing systems, system design, consideration of potential end-users as well as training and support for end-users. In addition, user-related factors, like user attitude towards the system, computer literacy and prior experience with the system seem to be important for successful implementation of decision support systems for antibiotic prescription in hospitals.ConclusionThe results indicate a broad spectrum of factors of decision support system implementation for antibiotic prescription and contributes to the literature by identifying important organizational as well as user-related factors. Wider organizational dimensions as well as the interaction between user and technology appear important for supporting implementation.
