The Impact of Innovation Capability in Increasing Enterprise Performance: Moderated by YouTube Media in Indonesia

This study aim is to investigate how the role of moderation by YouTube affects Innovation capability to Enterprise performance in Indonesia. Dynamic capabilities become a key to be had a sustainable competitive advantage, the author focuses on a moderator of YouTube in revolution 4.0 of high technology. Hypotheses were research data on 244 of YouTubers in Indonesia and the methodology of this analyses by using the regression-based process macro approach method. Bias and endogeneity testing responses were also conducted to confirm the reliability and validity of the findings. This paper provided a further finding the role Moderation of YouTube affected Innovation capability on enterprise performance in Indonesia. This result also confirmed that digitalization helps new start-ups which limited budged and small capital to run their business globally. The dynamic capability runs a role in using high technology and it becomes popular for all knowledge improvement particularly YouTube enables all people around the world at SMEs can communicate, get knowledge sharing, improve idea creativity, and information to their business performance. Therefore, Innovation has a big deal to increase the dynamic capability of SMEs in Indonesia.

Strategic resources alignment for sustainability: The impact of innovation capability and intellectual capital on SME's performance. Moderating role of external environment

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are vital to the growth and development of a country. This study examined how innovation capability, intellectual capital and SME performance are related. Cross-sectional questionnaires were given to 379 Pakistani textile SMEs. Only 318 surveys were considered reliable enough to proceed with the investigation. To test each hypothesis and assess the validity and reliability of the measurement model, this study used the PLS-SEM (Smart-PLS 4.0) technique. The findings indicate that the performance of SMEs is significantly impacted by their innovation capability and intellectual capital. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the innovation capability and intellectual capital of an organization are significantly impacted by the external environment. The analysis indicates that intangible resources, specifically innovation capability and intellectual capital, are crucial determinants of sustainable growth and are considered internal capabilities of the firm. This study provides valuable insights and knowledge for both governmental entities and SMEs. In order to boost Pakistani SMEs' performance and build a sustainable economy, these insights can be incorporated into government programs and guidelines. This study contributed to the body of knowledge by assessing internal capacities (innovation capability and intellectual capital) in the setting of SMEs with the moderating influence of the external environment, as the majority of studies on these variables focused on large enterprises.

Value Creation through Frugal Innovation, Innovation Capability and Knowledge Sharing in a Circular Economy

This study aims to examine the direct effect of innovation capability on value creation. The mediating role of frugal innovation and the moderating role of knowledge sharing are also explored between innovation capability and value creation link. This exploratory study uses quantitative and cross-sectional data collected through questionnaires. Structural equation modelling (SEM) was used to examine the hypothesis. Findings show a significant positive impact of innovation capability on value creation. Results proved that frugal innovation mediates the relations between innovation capability and value creation. Knowledge sharing strengthens the association between innovation capability and value creation in their association. Our research provides a framework for the sustainable advancement of SMEs in a circular economy and recommends that they increase the value creation of the products/services through frugal innovation based on the innovation capabilities. Moreover, knowledge-sharing practices speed up the interplay between innovation capability and value creation in the circular economy.

Impact of Innovation Capabilities on Business Sustainability in Small and Medium Enterprises

The rationale of this study was to investigate the effect of innovation types on business sustainability in the small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Quantitative approach was used for collecting the data and fulfilling the stated objective. Specifically, the data was collected from 171 employees in SMEs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The analysis for the collected data was conducted using the partial least square approach (PLS-SEM). The findings showed that product innovation as well as service innovation have significant positive impacts on business sustainability. The results further confirmed that process innovation is vital for achieving business sustainability. Finally, the outcomes verified that marketing innovation has a significant impact on business sustainability. The results confirmed the significance of innovation capabilities in helping entrepreneurs in SMEs to sustain their businesses and improve their competitive strengths.

THE STUDY OF INNOVATION CAPABILITY, CROSS-CHANNEL CAPABILITY AND FIRM PERFORMANCEOF VIETNAMESE RETAIL ENTERPRISES

This study aims to investigate the impact of innovation capability on cross-channel capability and the effect of cross-channel capability on firm performance of an organization. On the base of literature review, this study suggests a research hypothesis model, and uses quantitative research method to examine. Research data is collected from 201 Vietnamese retail enterprises. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) by Smart-PLS is used for data analysis. The research result indicates that there is a significant and positive impact of innovation capability on cross-channel capability. Besides that, the finding shows that cross-channel capability plays an important role in improving firm performance. Based on the findings, some recommendations are suggested to enhance firm performance by generating cross-channel capability and innovation capability of Vietnamese retailers.

The Relationship between Innovation Capability and Firm’s Performance in Electronic Companies, Vietnam

The study aims to investigate the determinant factors in the organisation of a firm's innovative activities, and the impact of innovation capability on firm's performance of electronic firms in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. How is the performance of electronic companies after delivering an innovation project? How will innovation capability affect firm's performance in electronic companies? This study aims to seek the answer of these questions. We employ a Structural Equation Model and the PLS technique in order to validate the theoretical model proposed in this study. With observation of 374 valid firms, based on Cronbach's Alpha analysis, EFA analysis, CFA analysis and SEM analysis, this study discovers 5 groups of factors including: (i) Institution factors; (ii) Attitude of leadership factors; (iii) Marketing factors; (iv) Technological resources factors; (v) Combination factors, which have direct impact on innovation capability of firms. There are 4 groups of factors that have positive impacts on financial performance of electronic firms, with descending order of importance as follows: (1) Attitude of leadership factors; (2) Quality of human resources factors; (3) Innovation capability; (4) Marketing activities factors. Research results are important implications for Government administrative agencies for business to consult and introduce effective support policies.

The relationship between marketing agility and financial performance under different levels of market turbulence

Marketing agility is an example of dynamic capability that has significant influence on ordinary capabilities leading to superior financial performance. This makes it of interest to marketing managers. Yet the way in which this capability aligns with turbulent market environments to simultaneously influence ordinary capabilities and performance has not been adequately examined and empirically tested. This study seeks to close this gap by positing that marketing agility has both direct and indirect (through innovation capability which is an ordinary capability) impacts on financial performance. However, these relationships are moderated by market turbulence to yield both mediated moderation and moderated mediation effects. The study was undertaken in the Chinese food-processing industry where a sample of 518 companies participated. This provides an opportunity to validate theory developed in the western economies and to generalize some previous findings. Contrary to received literature we found that the impact of innovation capability on financial performance is stronger under low market turbulence; and that market turbulence moderates the indirect relationship between marketing agility and financial performance. The indirect effect is stronger when market turbulence is low than when it is high. Implications for managers and academia are discussed and limitations of the study are pointed out.

The impact of innovation capability on the performance of manufacturing companies

Purpose– The purpose of this paper is to provide additional evidence of the impact of innovation on three dimensions of a firm’s performance, namely product quality, operational performance and financial performance.Design/methodology/approach– The analysis includes an initial exploratory factor analysis, followed by confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modelling, in order to investigate the relations between the constructs of the proposed model. A sample of 233 Greek manufacturing firms is used for this purpose.Findings– According to the study findings, “innovation capability” directly contributes to product quality and operational performance. Although it has no direct impact on manufacturing firms’ financial performance, it has an indirect impact through the moderator of operational performance. Thus, innovation is an opportunity for a manufacturing firm to improve its performance.Research limitations/implications– The sample of the responding manufacturing companies is limited to small and medium-sized enterprises from one country (Greece). In addition, manufacturing firms from different sectors have different resources, capabilities and performance.Practical implications– The study offers clear implications for managers who should put additional emphasis on innovation as it is an important element for achieving improved overall firm performance and sustainable competitive power.Originality/value– Based on the multi-dimensional structure of innovation, this empirical study determines the contribution of “innovation capability” to specific performance dimensions of manufacturing companies.

Innovation capabilities and international performance of firms: a quantile regression approach

This study examines the relationship between various dimensions of a firm’s technological innovation capabilities and its international performance. We use panel data with multiple indicators of firm level technological capabilities including generation, dissemination, strength and speed of innovation. We employ a quantile regression analysis which allowed us to test the impact of innovation capability on international performance of high, average and poor performers. Our empirical findings indicate significant disparity between the ordinary least square and quantile regression results.
