Low morale and a lack of motivation among employees could be a major issue for businesses that wishes to turn a profit in the marketplace, regardless of how attractive the products and services a company is offering, how effective the company's business and marketing strategy are, and what size of budget a company has to operate.Most organizations today have realized that a satisfied employee is required in terms of organizations productivity. It’s only an engaged employee who is intellectually and emotionally bounded with organization and its goal and targets committed to its values. “When an employee is highly motivated, he goes the extra mile beyond the basic job responsibility and is associated with actions that drive the business”.

Pengaruh Kompetensi Sosial Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Di Dinas Perumahan, Kawasan Permukiman Dan Pertanahan Kabupaten Buleleng

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the impact of social competence on employee performance at the Department of Housing, Settlement, and Land Affairs of Buleleng Regency, (2) the impact of social competence on employee performance through employee motivation at the Department of Housing, Settlement, and Land Affairs of Buleleng Regency, and (3) the impact of employee motivation on employee performance at the Department of Housing, Settlement, and Land Affairs of Buleleng Regency. This study utilized a quantitative causal design. The subjects of this study were all contract employees at the Department of Housing, Settlement, and Land Affairs of Buleleng Regency. The results of this study indicate that: (1) social competence has a positive and significant impact on employee performance at the Department of Housing, Settlement, and Land Affairs of Buleleng Regency, (2) social competence has a positive and significant impact on employee performance through employee motivation at the Department of Housing, Settlement, and Land Affairs of Buleleng Regency, and (3) employee motivation has a positive and significant impact on employee performance at the Department of Housing, Settlement, and Land Affairs of Buleleng Regency.

The Impact of Employee Motivation on Productivity

Productivity refers to the capability of employee in making significant achievements which are higher than the company expectations. It means that the outcome of the work is better than what the company expect them to do. Employee productivity can be realized if the human resource is able to be responsible in accomplishing the task or job. One of the key factors which influence productivity is employee motivation. The problem at UD Segren Binjai are the lacking of productivity in terms of coming to work late and not accomplishing the task on time. The research designs used in this study are descriptive study and correlative study. In this research, the writer used questionnaire to collect the data. The sample used in this study is the employees at UD Segren Binjai which are 33 employees. The result got from this research is the employee motivation has impact on productivity at UD Segren Binjai which can be seen from the hypothesis test (zcount > ztable (4.28 > 1.96)) which means that the Ho is rejected and the Ha is accepted. From the correlation test done, it shows the result is 0.771 which means that employee motivation has strong and positive impact on productivity.

Impact of Employee Motivation on Maintaining Firm Performance

Employees are considered as key assets in an organization to ensure the attainment of sustainable business performance and long-term growth. The role of employee motivation in maintaining prolonged firm productivity is critically evaluated in this study. Relevant secondary articles are gathered in this study as a secondary qualitative strategy and an explanatory research design is adopted in this paper. Based on the relevant articles different factors that contribute in maintaining an optimum level of employee motivation are assessed here. It is found that the development of a positive work environment by maintaining team cooperation and communication plays a significant role in encouraging the workforce. Along with that, suitable leadership inclusion is also required to enhance employee motivation. An optimized connection with the top management contributes to resolve conflicts and issues within the workforce. Employee involvement in decision-making, providing adequate rewards and remuneration along with maintaining transparency within the organizational performance results in enhancing employee morale. It also helps the associated workforce in efficiently performing complex jobs. ABSTRACT
 The purpose of this quantitative study is to determine the influence or impact of employee motivation, work discipline, and job satisfaction on employee performance. The topic of this research is a worker at the Ministry of Agriculture's Directorate of Food Crop Germination in Jakarta. In this study, data was collected by sending 58 employees using Google Form questionnaires in the form of questions. For sampling, the saturated sample technique was used. The SmartPLS 3.0 application was utilized to conduct the analysis for this investigation. And the findings show that: 1) employee motivation has a significant impact on employee performance, 2) work discipline has a significant impact on employee performance, 3) job satisfaction has a significant impact on employee performance, and 4) employee motivation, work discipline, and job satisfaction all have an impact on employee performance.

The article investigates the features of employee motivation impact on the organisation effectiveness. The purpose of the study is to clarify the theoretical foundations of motivation, improve the methodological approaches and substantiate the practical recommendations concerning the motivational mechanism development, which is one of the most important components in the chain of achieving high performance of modern business entities. Research objectives are to analyse the of employee motivation impact on the effectiveness of the organisation, identify and evaluate the relationship between the impact of the remuneration system on the results of the organisation’s activities, formulate recommendations to firms and their managers on promoting the system of motivation and remuneration of employees, that expands the effectiveness of the organisation.In the article the terminological analysis of the definition of “employee motivation” has been carried out. The relationship between employee motivation and the remuneration system with organisational efficiency has been formalised. The effectiveness of the motivation system and the employee incentive system at Iran software and hardware company (NOSA) has been evaluated using the questionnaire and expert survey method. The relationship between the productivity of the company’s personnel and the level of remuneration has been ascertained using the correlation and regression analysis. The recommendations to improve the efficiency of the labor motivation system at the NOSA enterprise have been formulated based on the obtained data.The results obtained allowed us to conclude that the interaction of motives and incentives is the tool that allows us to meet the needs of the employee in the most appropriate way for him – as a result of the realization of his abilities. Study of the motivation system at the NOSA enterprise indicates that the staff is not satisfied with the material remuneration. The company’s management during developing directions for improving the motivation program should take into account that the growth rate of labor productivity should outstrip the growth rate of its remuneration, otherwise the company’s resources will be spent inefficiently.

Transformational Leadership and Project Success: A Mediating Role of Public Service Motivation

Previous studies have linked public-sector employees’ motivation to desired results such as higher performance and improved quality of public services. However, questions about the impact of employee motivation on public projects have received less attention. This article uses work motivation theory to explore the fundamental processes by which transformational leadership (TL) and public service motivation (PSM) engender public project success (PS). Analysis of 296 public servants’ data working on Pakistan public projects showed a positive correlation between TL, PSM, and PS. It also showed that PSM partially mediates the relationship between TL and PS.

The current study is done to explore the relationship between Employee motivation and organizational productivity with the mediating role of job satisfaction. The organizational productivity of Indian organization is decreasing despite adopting various strategies. There was a need to pinpoint the cause of this problem. This study revealed the fact that impact of employee motivation can be a cause of decrease in organization productivity. The result of this research suggests offering extrinsic and intrinsic motivation to the employees. In addition, measures should be taken to increase employees’ job satisfaction as these factors will directly lead to an increase in organizational productivity. The authors propose a model that ties employee motivation to organizational performance. The research objectives were designed to identify strategies that take into account all the factors contributing to quality and superior productivity of labor, in other words, to identify motivation strategies conducive to efficient management. Impact of Employee Motivation on Customer Satisfaction: Study of Airline Industry in Pakistan

In success or failure of any firm/industry or organization employees plays the most vital and important role. Airline industry is one of service industry the job of which is to sell seats to their travelers/costumers and passengers; hence employees inspiration towards their work plays a vital part in serving client’s requirements. This research focused on the influence of employee’s enthusiasm and its apparatuses e.g. pay and benefits, working atmosphere, vision of organization towards customer satisfaction and management systems in Pakistani airline industry. For analysis correlation and regression methods were used. Results of the research highlighted that workers motivation and its four major components e.g. pay and benefits, working atmosphere, vision of organization and management systems have a significant positive impact on customer’s gratification. Those employees of the industry who directly interact with client highly impact the client satisfaction level. It is obvious from results of this research that pay and benefits performs a key role in employee’s motivation towards achieving their organizational objectives of greater customer satisfaction.

Linkages between Employee Motivation and Customer Satisfaction within Higher Learning Institutions in the City of Buea in Cameroon

The main focus of this empirical research is to gauge “the impact of employee motivation on customer satisfaction. This study was carried out at some higher institutions in the city of Buea, South West Region of Cameroon, and examined the role employee motivation has to play in the success or failure of most private higher institutions in the city of Buea. Furthermore, the research investigated the relationship between employee motivation and student satisfaction in one part, but also as motivation components needed by higher learning institutions management to achieve student satisfaction and how the motivation of the institution personnel, namely administration staff and lecturers can affects the students. The population of the research was three private higher institutions in Buea; Higher Institute of Management Studies (HIMS), Catholic University Institute of Buea (CUIB) and Saint Monica University (SMU). The sample of the study was fifty-eight (58) respondents from the above three institutions who answered the questionnaires. Secondary data related to the literature on employee motivation, customer satisfaction, and higher learning institutions were used to support the content of the research. The study revealed that, employee motivation has an impact on student satisfaction thus some of the recommendations highlighted the need to motivate employees.

Determinants of Employee Motivation and its impact on Knowledge Transfer and Job Satisfaction

This study specifically examines the impact of different variables like extrinsic reward (Pay), intrinsic reward (Appreciation), training and expectancy on employee motivation and impact of employee motivation on job satisfaction and knowledge transfer. The general purpose of this study is to motivate employees. If employees are motivated, they will be satisfied by their jobs and if they are satisfied by their job then they will work hard to attain organizational goals and if goals are achieved then organization will get profit. The current research is descriptive in its nature. We select the sample from different sectors in Pakistan. We select the sample of 200 respondents from population for the collection of data and to check the response of different employees. For this purpose, we structured a self- administrated questionnaire and filled it from the right respondent for true results. We use Regression analysis in this study. This analysis is very important to check the confidence of the study from different respondents. Due to this analysis, we found that Pay and Appreciation are not directly effecting the employee motivation. Job satisfaction also has no direct link with employee motivation but training of employee, expectancy and knowledge transfer have direct relationship with employee motivation. These three variables help a lot to motivate an employee.

Impact of Employee Motivation on Employee Performance (A Case Study of Private Firms: Multan District, Pakistan)

This article is based on the private firms which working in Multan city, Pakistan. In this article all we studied and analyzed all aspects of the employee motivation importance especially in private firms. In Pakistan many employees who are working in private firm (especially in Multan) facing motivational problem. But many private firms working for the employee motivation and encouraging the employees. In this we also mentioned major factors which can help the firms to achieve employee motivation. We also observed employee motivation is so important for the employee’s performance and efficiency and for the private firm’s success. A questionnaire was developed for estimating effect of employee motivation on firm’s performance. Data was collected through convenience sampling method. Our sampled people include both, managers and non managers of private firms in Multan city. This research study will contribute into existing literature through indicating the importance of employee motivation on performance.

Impact of Employee Motivation on Job Satisfaction With Respect To Corporate Social Responsibility and Rewards

Nowadays, human resource is considered to be the most important asset of any organization. In order to get the efficient and effective results from human resource and to make them feel satisfied at their respective jobs, employee motivation is compulsory. An active and effective Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Division and Rewards System of an organization play significant role in motivating employees The current study examines the relationship between employee’s motivation and job satisfaction with respect to Rewards (Both Intrinsic & Extrinsic) and CSR (Internal & External). Employees of banks and few organizations of Bahawalpur were taken as sample of the study. An already developed questionnaire was used for data collection. 184 questionnaires were distributed. The data was analyzed using regression analysis. All findings were checked at 0.05 level of significance. The result concludes that there is a significant impact of External CSR on employee motivation while Internal CSR has an insignificant impact on employee motivation. Similarly, there is a direct relation of extrinsic rewards and the employee’s motivation. Interestingly, extrinsic rewards found an insignificant impact on employee motivation. However, Employee Motivation is directly related to job satisfaction. This study has got managerial importance in the context that it is not the extrinsic rewards always at all levels which motivate employees. This study gives a direction to the management of the organizations including banks the importance of intrinsic rewards and external CSR.

The Impact of Employee Motivation on Emotional Commitment: Research Undertaken in a Five-Star Hotel

In this study, the affects of labor motivation on the emotional commitment of a hotel's employees for organizations were investigated. A theoretical model was tested by utilizing structural equation modeling based on data obtained from 120 employees of a five-star hotel. Results of data analysis revealed that the proposed theoretical model had a good fit with data available ((χ2 (97, N = 120) = 112.70, p < .05, RMSEA = .37, GFI = .89, AGFI = .85, CFI = .98, NNFI = .99). The most interesting finding of the research is that intrinsic motivation factors have higher correlation coefficients compared to extrinsic motivation factors for hotel employees.
