In this experiment the auther found the relation above described, between the histological view of epicardium and the 'Wave form" of ecg. ic curve. These results are explained by "Chain doublet theory" as follws 1) Monophasic ecg. is obtained by the change to infinitive great polarizing capacity of tissue Membran by means of destruction of epicardium. 2) Biphasic ecg. is obtained by a cirtain inanimate polarizing capacity as a "condenser" by means of the epicardial thickening. 3) Triphasic ecg. is obtained by return to normal polarizing capacity in order to regeneration of epicardium. It is very remarkable that histological change in the myocardium decrease gradually in width and degree, but after the ecg. return to triphasic curve, still all animals show, the myocardial degenration and considerable necrosis is found in some cases. It calls for serious reflection to our routine electro-cardiology. Thus the auther confirmed that the histological character of epicardium, namely the change of polarizing capacity of tissue membrane is a definitive factor which changes the "Wave form" of ecg.
