Pengaruh Keterlibatan Kerja, Pelatihan Kerja dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Komitmen Karyawan

This study aims to analyze (1) the influence of work involvement on employee commitment; (2) the effect of job training on employee commitment and (3) the effect of the work environment on employee commitment of the Grand Candi Hotel Semarang The research sample was 110 employees of the Grand Candi Hotel Semarang. This type of research is explanatory research. Data collection uses a questionnaire using a google form, which is then sent to each respondent. Data analysis using regression with the help of SPSS software version 16. The results of the research findings show that: (1) employee involvement has a positive effect on employee commitment, (2) employee training has a positive effect on employee commitment, (3) the work environment has a positive effect on employee commitment at the Grand Candi Hotel Semarang.

Penerapan Pengendalian Kalitas Produk Kaleng Kemasan Crab Meat 800ml Menggunakan Metode SIX Sigma Pendekatan DMAIC

Packaging can manufacturers experience a quality problem, namely with product defects / defects in every production that has not reached zero defects, especially in 800 ml crab meat packaging cans which most often experience product defects. Six Sigma can be defined as a methodology that functions for process improvement that aims to minimize defect processes and improve production quality using the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analize, Improve, Control) approach. So that it can be analyzed from the known problems to obtain improvement recommendations. From the results of the measurement of the data obtained that for (CTQ) Critical to Quality, the key is based on the pareto diagram, that 85% of the highest defects are in the breaking of welding. From the analysis of the causal diagram, the factors that cause product defects / defects come from machine, human, raw material, and environmental factors. Thus, recommendations can be made for appropriate corrective actions, especially providing training and direction for employees on how to work according to SOPs for checking raw materials, improving the quality standards of raw materials received, and adding appropriate lighting during the production process so that defects / production defects can be minimized.

Analisis Peran Bawaslu Provinsi Jawa Timur dalam Pengawasan Netralitas ASN pada Pemilihan Umum

General elections are a form of a country's democratic system. The General Election Supervisory Body is one of the agencies in organizing general elections which is responsible for supervising general elections so that they run honestly and fairly. This research aims to determine the role of the East Java Province Bawaslu in monitoring the neutrality of the State Civil Apparatus in the Election. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis of this research data uses the theory put forward by Sururama and Amalia (2020:44) explaining the stages of supervision which consist of setting implementation standards, determining measurement of activity implementation, comparing activity implementation with standards and analyzing deviations, and taking corrective action. The research results show that there is SKB Number 2 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for the Neutrality Development and Supervision of State Civil Service Employees in the Implementation of General Elections and Elections. Apart from that, Bawaslu also held declaration activities to increase the neutrality of ASN during the election and take action against violations that occurred according to the rules.

Efektivitas E-ABK: Analisis Beban Kerja di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Surabaya

This research examines the effectiveness of E-ABK (Workload Analysis) in the Surabaya City Education Office. The aim of this research is: To find out how effective E-ABK is in the Surabaya City Education Office. The research method in this study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research. This research wants to discuss the effectiveness of E-ABK (Workload Analysis) in the Surabaya City Education Office which consists of 5 indicators, namely Efficiency, Adequacy, Evenness, Responsiveness and Accuracy. This research uses primary data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation and interviews, while secondary data uses the results of previous research with different loci. The research results show that the use of E-ABK (Workload Analysis) is in accordance with 5 indicators, namely Efficiency: Based on the data sources obtained, it is very supportive in assisting the process of filling in crew members. ASN employee resources that support the implementation of E-ABK can be said to be efficient if all ASN are able to understand the filling flow and complete it on time. ; Adequacy: The organization of regional apparatus in the Education Service has been carried out in accordance with the applicable mechanism, namely an analysis of workload on the organizational structure. The policy for structuring regional apparatus organizations in the Education Department has met the adequacy criteria. This can be seen from the fact that the organizational structuring policies implemented have met the needs of the city government organization itself. ; Alignment: By equalizing the workload, you can create a fairer and more equitable work environment where all employees can give their best. ; Responsiveness: Increasing responsiveness can increase efficiency, reduce waiting time, increase customer satisfaction, and increase employee morale. ; and Accuracy: The accuracy of the number of employees needed in the Surabaya City Education Department can be seen through the existing number which will later be determined and matched between the existing E-ABK and the existing number of employees currently. The implementation of E-ABK (Workload Analysis) for Employees at the Surabaya City Education Office has been going smoothly. Even though the infrastructure and human resources are available and sufficient, there are still some employees who still do not fully understand how to fill out E-ABK. To increase employee competency, regular outreach and training regarding the use of E-ABK is needed.

Implementation of Career Planning and Employee Conflict Resolution Techniques

This research discusses the implementation of career planning and conflict resolution techniques in the context of human resource development. Effective career planning is crucial in helping individuals set clear career goals and outline steps to achieve them, especially in the face of intense competition in the job market. Conflict within organizations is an inevitable phenomenon but can become an opportunity to improve team performance through resolution techniques such as effective communication, negotiation, and mediation. This study finds that the integration of career planning and conflict resolution creates a positive synergy in employee development. Individuals with clear career plans are better equipped to handle conflicts, fostering a collaborative and harmonious work environment that supports the achievement of both individual and organizational career goals more effectively.

Modernization of Religious Courts: An Analysis of the Effectiveness of Mediation Through E-Court in Resolving Divorce Cases in Padang

This study is important to understand the effectiveness of e-Court in handling divorce cases involving mediation, especially in the Class 1A Religious Court of Padang. Although e-Court has improved administrative efficiency and access, there are gaps in the effectiveness of online mediation, especially in cases involving emotional conflict or domestic violence. These limitations indicate the need for a more in-depth approach to addressing the emotional dimension in the e-Court process as well as improving technical support and staff competence. The object of this study is e-Court as a means of divorce proceedings, with a focus on analyzing the effectiveness of the legal process in cases requiring mediation. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method through in-depth interviews and observations. Primary data were obtained from key informants such as judges, e-Court employees, advocates, and the community, while secondary data were taken from related literature. The findings show that e-Court is effective in terms of ease of access, process efficiency, decision quality, and user satisfaction. Although technological infrastructure supports accessibility, improvements in internet access are still needed. E-Court reduces case handling time, but physical interaction is still needed. User satisfaction is high, although there are complaints about the system sometimes experiencing errors, as well as the need for further training for employees to improve competence.

Social Engineering as a Major Cybersecurity Threat: Analysis of Challenges and Solutions for Organizations

Social engineering is a psychological manipulation technique used by attackers to exploit human weaknesses in information security. This research aims to identify the challenges organizations face in protecting themselves from social engineering attacks and offer effective solutions. Through analysis of case studies and relevant literature, it was found that a lack of employee awareness and training is one of the main causes of the success of these attacks. In addition, many organizations still rely on inadequate technology to detect threats. To address these issues, this paper recommends implementing regular training programs, strengthening security policies, and using advanced technology. With this comprehensive approach, organizations can strengthen their defences and reduce the risks associated with social engineering. Organizations should prioritize continuous education programs, foster a culture cantered on security, and establish protocols that encourage alertness. Moreover, robust access controls, defined incident reporting processes, and the use of technology like behavioural analytics can further reduce the risks posed by social engineering.

Adoption and Use of Electronic Human Resources Management Systems for Service Delivery in Tanzania: A Case to Tanzania Airports Authority

This articles explores the adoption and utilization of Electronic Human Resources Management Systems (e-HRMS) for service delivery at the Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA). General objective was to assess the adoption and use of electronic human resource management systems for HR service delivery at Tanzania Airports Authority. The specific objectives of the study were to examine the practice of eHRMS adopted to support service delivery in the Tanzania Airports Authority, to examine the effort made by the government to enhance the usage and adoption eHRMS in service delivery at Tanzania Airports Authority and to identify the challenges in using e-HRMS in service delivery in Tanzania. The study utilized the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to understand user acceptance behaviour and the Diffusion of Innovations Theory to explore how e-HRMS spreads within the organization. Research adopted an explanatory research design and population of study was 60 staff. Data was collected through questionnaires from a purposively selected sample of 52 staff with qualitative data from interviews conducted with HR and IT officers. Quantitative data was analysed using descriptive analysis, while thematic analysis was applied to qualitative data. Findings reveal that TAA has implemented various e-HRMS practices, including digital storage of employee data, automated payroll systems, and streamlined recruitment and onboarding processes. Government support has been instrumental in these efforts through policy implementation, financial support and infrastructure development. However, several challenges hinder the full potential of e-HRMS at TAA, such as limited access to technology, unreliable power supply, skills gaps, resistance to change, and cost considerations. The study concludes that e-HRMS has significantly improved HR service delivery at TAA. Nonetheless, continuous efforts are necessary to address existing challenges. Enhancing technological infrastructure, providing comprehensive training, and implementing effective change management strategies are crucial for optimizing the benefits of e-HRMS. The articles recommends that TAA invest in reliable internet connectivity and IT hardware, provide ongoing training for employees, and develop robust change management plans.

This article presents a comprehensive framework for addressing data privacy and security challenges in modern data engineering environments. As organizations grapple with ever-increasing volumes of sensitive data and an evolving regulatory landscape, data engineers face complex challenges in safeguarding information throughout its lifecycle. Employee Development Strategy in Improving Organizational Performance

This research aims to determine employee development strategies in improving organizational performance at the Bima Regency NTB Communication, Information and Statistics Service office. The research method used in this research is qualitative research with a description approach. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of employee development strategies in improving organizational performance at the DISKOMINFOTIK office (Department of Communications, Informatics and Statistics) Bima Regency, NTB has gone well, marked by an increase in technical competence through information technology-based training, development of non-technical skills such as leadership and communication, as well as preparing a clear and structured career development path. Apart from that, efforts to improve employee welfare and reward systems are also important components in increasing work motivation and productivity. Regular evaluation and adjustments to the implementation of this strategy are carried out to ensure continuous performance improvement. It is hoped that the results of this research can make a significant contribution to operational effectiveness and achievement of the strategic objectives of DISKOMINFOTIK Bima Regency.

Industrial Metaverse as a New Component of Digital Transformation: A Bibliometric Analysis

Abstract— The digital transformation process in businesses operates within the data and knowledge cycle. This cycle ensures that all functions and units of an business collaborate effectively to achieve maximum efficiency from technological advancements. Recently, industrial metaverse technology has emerged as a new catalyst in the digital transformation process. This technology integrates with various other technologies to generate a virtual work environment akin to the physical workspace. The objective of this study is to identify the technologies and processes that industrial metaverse technology collaborates with and to provide a vision for researchers and businesses interested in this field. To achieve this objective, a bibliometric analysis was conducted on studies indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus databases using the keyword "industrial metaverse." The analysis included a total of 60 studies: 44 from the Scopus database and 16 from the WoS database. A comprehensive examination of these 60 studies was performed, with data compiled manually and analyzed using the Vosviewer application. The study concluded that industrial metaverse technology is associated with processes such as smart production, employee-technology collaboration, ensuring the functionality of the data and knowledge cycle infrastructure, employee training, and environmental sustainability. Additionally, technologies such as digital twins, blockchain, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT), and artificial intelligence (AI) form the infrastructure of industrial metaverse technology. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has quickly spread to a number of areas, including HR. The purpose of this study is to evaluate how AI has affected Collabera Digital Bangalore's HR operations. The research aims to comprehend the advantages, difficulties, and general impact of AI on HR procedures including hiring, on-boarding, performance management, and employee development through a thorough examination of AI tools and methods applied within the organisation. A mixed-approaches strategy will be used in the study, integrating quantitative and qualitative research methods. Interviews with HR specialists and staff members will yield qualitative data about their perspectives on AI and their experiences with it. To gauge the observable effects of implementing AI, quantitative data will be collected via surveys and performance indicators. The research's conclusions will offer insightful information to companies thinking about integrating AI into HR tasks, assisting them in comprehending the possible advantages, difficulties, and best practices for a successful integration.

Investigating the Impact of Digital Leadership Dimensions on Service Economics Dimensions: An Empirical Study of Service Ministries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

This study examines the influence of various aspects of digital leadership (such as digital culture, visionary planning, system design, empowering leadership, employee development, innovation, persuasion, and knowledge) on different dimensions of service economics (including innovative economic ideas, efficient use of economic resources, leadership behaviors, and economic learning) within service ministries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We used a quantitative technique to collect data from a sample of 475 workers involved in service ministries via the use of a survey questionnaire. We conducted a thorough study of the data using the method of multiple regression analysis. The findings indicate that the different components of digital leadership have a significant and advantageous impact on the variables associated with service economics. The research determined that digital culture, innovation, and employee professional development are the main characteristics that have a major impact on digital leadership. This study contributes to the current literature by providing empirical evidence on the relationship between digital leadership and service economics. Additionally, it offers practical suggestions for service ministries in Saudi Arabia to enhance their service economics via the implementation of effective digital leadership methods. Nevertheless, the study is subject to many limitations, including its cross-sectional design and its narrow emphasis on a particular environment. It is recommended that future research endeavors address these constraints.

Cultural Integrations for Organisational Performance: Synthesising Western Liberal, Sinocentric and Ubuntu Perspectives in South African Career Management Services

South African public organisations intrinsically integrate diverse cultural perspectives by embracing and promoting developmental state ideals, democratic principles of equality and fairness, and communitarianism in their governance frameworks. This embrace reveals the interplay of Western Liberal principles, Sino-centric values, and Ubuntu cultural perspectives in influencing organisational performance. This paper thus explored these dynamics by examining how conflicting and integrating perspectives affect and enhance career management practices for organisational performance. Key cultural themes, including individual autonomy, hierarchy, collaboration, societal order, and communitarianism, were reviewed at the North West Province Departments of Cooperative Governance, Traditional Affairs, and Human Settlements through mixed methods research. Findings revealed cultural conflicts culminating in unfairness in career management practices and a lack of collaborative efforts by role players involved. These findings underscored the necessity of weakening and integrating strong ontologies through panentheism to enhance economic and employee development, societal order, hierarchy, and communal well-being through structured governance, pluralist choice, collective fingers and societal order frameworks. This research offers practical implications for improving organisational performance in African multicultural contexts, which are valuable for career management and public administration professionals. Digital Transformation of Electronic-Based Government System (EBS) in Sukabumi District

The digital transformation of government systems through the Electronic Based Government System (EBS) in Sukabumi District reflects the government's efforts to achieve transparent, accountable, and responsive governance to public needs. This research aims to analyse the implementation of the digitisation policy as well as the challenges faced, including the development of telecommunication infrastructure, human resource skills enhancement, and integration of public service systems. Through qualitative methods and literature study, it was found that the success of SPBE requires not only strong technological infrastructure but also collaboration between central and local governments, as well as training for government employees. The results showed that despite obstacles such as limited infrastructure in remote areas, the strategic measures implemented were able to encourage the creation of a more modern and inclusive government.

Analysis of Prehospital Characteristics Affecting Survival Rates of Patients with Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest Occurring During Work

This retrospective study analyzed survival rates of out-of-hospital acute cardiac arrest occurring during gainful work from 2013 to 2022. The survival rate at the workplace was 23.6% for patients with medical causes and 5.0% for those with non-medical causes, which was higher than the overall rate. The rate of layperson cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was 35.0% for medical causes and 11.6% for non-medical causes. Notably, cases witnessed by colleagues accounted for 72.9% of the medical cases and 76.8% of the non-medical cases, and CPR was performed in 42.7% of the medical cases and 19.6% of the non-medical cases. Survival rates were higher in both cases when there was a witness and CPR was performed. However, 45% of cardiac arrests occurring during work are still not witnessed, and the CPR performance and usage rates of automated external defibrillators (AED) remain insufficient. Enhancing the training of employees in CPR and AED usage can improve the survival rate of patients with cardiac arrest.

Intellectual Capital and Management System in Creative Economy Organizations

The activities of a wide range of business entities are related to the development and implementation of innovative products at enterprises that require staff to acquire new knowledge, skills, as well as methodological approaches that can be used to solve organizational issues in the field of innovation creation. The implementation of such tasks involves encouraging non-standard, creative approaches to solving complex functional situations that arise in the process of enterprise management; implementation of professional and qualification reorientation of personnel in accordance with innovative transformations; the use of creativity as one of the key factors of self-development, self-realization, self-improvement of employees and ensuring the innovative development of the enterprise. At the same time, despite numerous experimental and theoretical studies by domestic and foreign scientists, the problematic nature of the study of creativity requires additional research aimed at improving and developing new theoretical and methodological provisions. The implementation of innovative programs by the personnel of enterprises for decision-making requires a non-standard approach, which assumes sufficient freedom of action for participants in the innovation process and the creation of positive motives for their activities. The aim of the research is to expand and deepen the theoretical foundations and methodological support for the innovative development of creative economy enterprises based on management improvement. The methodological and theoretical basis of the study included the fundamental provisions of economic theory, scientific works of leading domestic and foreign scientists in the field of ensuring the innovative development of creative economy enterprises based on management. In the course of the research, general scientific methods of cognition were used: theoretical generalization (to study the theoretical foundations and features of the application of creativity management by enterprise personnel in the process of creating innovative products, producing creative ideas, making managerial decisions); grouping and classification (to determine the structure of the components of an employee’s intellectual and creative resources); comparison (to identify systemic obstacles in the process of improving management). The research results in the philosophical reflection of creativity as a factor of managerial changes in the creative management system, the object of which is the personal and collective creative development of employees who are the main participants in creative ideas aimed at improving the formation of the organization as a whole.

An Analysis of Critical Processes and Employee Challenges at Velmurugan Heavy Engineering Industries (VHEI) Private Limited, Thanjavur

This study investigates the critical processes and challenges faced by employees at Velmurugan Heavy Engineering Pvt. Ltd., located in Sengipatti, Thanjavur. The aim is to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance employee performance and organizational effectiveness. Employing a mixed-method approach combining qualitative and quantitative methods, data were collected extensively through surveys, interviews, and observations from a representative sample across departments and hierarchical levels. The findings highlight critical areas such as project management, quality control, communication channels, and performance evaluation. While the organization demonstrates competence in these areas, gaps exist, particularly in streamlined communication and efficient project management. The study also uncovers challenges including unclear role expectations, limited professional development opportunities, inadequate work-life balance, and insufficient recognition and rewards. Recommendations are offered to strengthen communication channels, enhance project management practices, implement employee development programs, promote work-life balance initiatives, and establish a robust recognition and rewards system. Addressing these challenges and implementing recommended strategies has led to improved employee satisfaction, productivity, and overall organizational performance. Rethinking Policy Design: Integrating Traditional, Market-oriented and Corporatist Career Management Policy Instruments across South African Public Service Departments

Policy design gained popularity in the 1970s, thus proliferating extensive scholarly research within the field. This persistent trajectory is sustained by a significant emphasis on integrating diverse instruments within contemporary democratic and governance contexts. Despite the relevance of instrument mix, the integration of traditional, corporatist, and market-oriented policy instruments still needs to be explored in the African context, particularly in career management. This study addressed this gap by investigating the integration of these diverse paradigms through insights from the metaphysical foundations of governance models alongside the empirical data gathered from the stakeholders at the North West Province Departments of Cooperative Governance Traditional Affairs and Human Settlements. Findings revealed a divergence of policy design approaches, culminating in the misalignment of policy instruments in career management. This misalignment hampers the integration of employee development objectives with Public Service goals. Findings revealed that the underlying cause of this deficiency is the misalignment of NATO instruments. Therefore key stakeholders in both departments should realign policy instruments and enhance targeted capability building. The study contributes to public administration theory, policy design, career management, and integrative governance by prioritising the alignment of policy instruments, thereby bridging the gap between organisational and employee developmental goals. This collaborative approach reveals the potentiality of integrative governance in harmonising diverse policy instruments in public organisations.
