This article examines the effectiveness of career women in fostering young generation families. When he becomes a career woman, he considers that household harmony will not be realized especially in guiding his children especially to the people of Watansoppeng. The study found that career women in Watansoppeng played an active role in coaching young people through formal education by choosing the right school, intense communication with teachers and participation with children's social activities in school and through informal education such as sharing roles with husbands, being role models and application of discipline to family members. Increasing the role of career women in fostering the younger generation through formal and informal education in Watansoppeng through approaches to career women themselves, to husbands as heads of families, approaches to children approach to pengutan function and finally approaches through problem solving and approaches through religion and local culture.

Perilaku Komunikasi Antarbudaya Pasutri Kawin Campur (Perspektif Drama Turgi)

Abstract Research conducted in the city of Malang, East Java in 2017, has been able to describe the behavior, and also reveal the strategy of constructing the behavior of intercultural communication in order to maintain household harmony. Similarly, regarding personal communication model, by emphasizing the factor of openness to be the main in building the values that are favored or referenced, and with that foundation also other factors in personal relationships can easily follow. The method of qualitative naturalistic analysis is interactive, becoming the basic reference for obtaining relevant data. While the use of phenomenology approach, it is useful to explore the personal experience of informants in married life, so it is easy to formulate together with informants about normative concepts that are commonly applied in pragmatic problem solving. The results of this study can find the importance of improving the behavior of intercultural communication between married couples, in order to achieve a harmony relationship through the process of understanding to position his partner and his nearest social environment. The basic principles of family communication are important in addressing common problems, and intimate communication should always be created at every opportunity. Both of these factors can run effectively, if each marriage marriage partner provides an opportunity for her partner to present her role. Family economy is one of the supporting factors in making household harmony. Various ways are taken by the couple of husband and wife to increase the family economy. One of the ways is working abroad or becoming migrant workers. The majority of husband or wife in Banjarsari, Nusawungu, Cilacap go abroad in reason to improve the family economy that their families hopefully become more harmonious. However, after their family economy are fulfilled, dispute in their domestic household often happens, even it causes divorce. This paper explains the basis of normative and juridical causes of the divorce among the migrant workers in Banjarsari, Nusawungu, Cilacap.

<em>Harmony is a dream for every household that are nurtured with love, compassion, and sincerity. In improving household harmony a grounding Hindu religion as guidance is needed. Household harmony is a state of peace, good, friendly, united hearts, agreement that occur in a family life with overcome differences of opinion and differences of understanding. The increase in household harmony creates a peaceful family circumstances that shows happy, life without violence, as well as inner and outer prosperous which are based on realizing the teachings of truth and religion.</em>

Perceraian Akibat Peralihan Agama: Studi Kasus Tentang Putusan Hakim Pengadilan Agama Gorontalo

Each couple would not want a divorce, but sometimes there just are not inevitable problems that lead to domestic harmony fall apart and eventually divorced, and one of them is due to the conversion. This study is field research by taking the case from 2009 to 2013 that it have been decided the Gorontalo Religious Court judges. The results showed the issue of conversion is a complicated issue and is very influential in household harmony husband and wife who causes discord and eventual divorce. Conversion are included in the category of unbelievers who sparked a major problem that can not be reconciled, and came to the trial panel of judges decided to divorce. In addition, the conversion brought due to the difficulties set religious status of children, maintenance, education, finance, and about inheritance, community property between husband and wife.

Song Maocheng’s Matrixes of Mourning and Regret

Through the many poems of loss and commemorative essays in the collected works of Song Maocheng (1569-1620), we can discern three matrixes of association among the author and his deceased loved ones: (1) a patrilineal matrix in which the salient theme is the rupture or felt-failure of paternal and avuncular care and guidance of male children in the patriline; (2) a female-domestic matrix in which losses engendered feelings of guilt, either for partial responsibility in the deaths or for inability to properly recompense female care and self-sacrifice within the household; and (3) a female-sensual matrix in which the loss of feminine sympathy, comfort, and beauty—whether to death or to parting—dominate the aesthetic. These three matrixes overlap in the wife’s roles as maternal perpetuator of the patriline, preserver of household harmony and resources, and loving, devoted spouse. The centrality of the wife’s role is reflected most strikingly in the long, moving “Elegy, with Preface” that Song wrote for his first wife, née Yang, who died in Song’s absence shortly after giving birth to his first son in the third year of their marriage. Despite remarriage and the acquisition of multiple concubines, Song also wrote several sets of poems in memory of his first wife, who entered his dreams for many years after her death.

Encountering “Hot” Anger

This article examines husband-to-wife violence within a rural Vietnamese community. In Vietnam, domestic violence is tied to a complex field of cultural forces that consists of a patrilineal tradition of ancestor worship, assumptions about females' versus males' character, Confucian virtues, and a history of war. Females are expected to encourage house-hold harmony by adjusting themselves and, in so doing, make social life smooth. Males, on the other hand, are assumed to have a hot character, meaning that a male might fly into a rage and even behave violently. Local ways of constructing females and males, the article suggests, provide conditions for considering females as a corporeal materiality that can be manipulated into the right shape by the means of (male) violence. Domestic violence, like any other violence, by ignoring the corporeal limits thus brutally alters assumptions about the topography of the human body.
