Sistem Monitoring Jumlah Pengunjung Ruang Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit Berbasis Android

A Hospital is a health facility that aims to provide good health services for patients. The physical environment of the inpatient room also affects the patient's psychological condition. The inpatient room should raise optimism so that it can help the patient's healing process. Standard operating procedures in a hospital limit the number of visitors in each inpatient room. This is especially true in the class 1 inpatient room, where the number of patients is limited to two people and the maximum number of visitors limited to 2 people. However, even though the number of visitors to the hospital has been determined, many of the patients' families or relatives who want to visit violate these rules. This happens even though it has been prohibited or without the knowledge of the hospital staff. This paper describes the development of an Android based system to monitor the number of visitors to the hospital's inpatient room, streamlining the number of visitors to the hospital's inpatient room. The researcher uses a camera so that he can immediately capture the number of visitors in the room. The captured picture are processed in a Raspberry pi to count the number of visitors in the room, using tensorflow as an object detector (visitor). The system can then send notifications to the application when the number of visitors exceeds the safe limit. Researchers also use a mobile application to display monitoring results. so that with this system, the head of the hospital room and the hospital security guard can find out the number of visitors who are in the hospital inpatient room and the number of visitors who exceed the maximum limit.

Do the Nurse Practice the Five Moments for Hand Hygiene? An Observational Study during Pandemic COVID-19

INTRODUCTION: Healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) are frequently found in patients worldwide each year with varying rates. In November 2021, there were 23 incidents of nosocomial infection at a General Hospital in Banda Aceh. Of these incidents, eight occurred in the surgical inpatient room. Nurses have a significant role in reducing the number of hospital infections. Nurses must utilize the knowledge and skills of nursing practice to facilitate patient recovery while minimizing infection-related complications in patients.
 AIM: This clinical observation aims to identify the practice of 5 moments of hand hygiene in the surgical inpatient ward, General Hospital Banda Aceh.
 METHODS: This clinical observation aims to identify the practice of 5 moments of hand hygiene in the surgical inpatient ward, General Hospital Banda Aceh. This clinical observation with a population of 26 nurses. A sample of 16 nurses was obtained through the incidental sampling method. The tool used to collect data is in the form of a hand hygiene observation sheet that was observed at five moments according to World Health Organization (WHO) standards.
 RESULTS: The five-moment hand hygiene showed that the nurse hand hygiene practice was 68.7%-100%. The sequent percentage values ​​of practicing hand hygiene are: 68.7% of nurses do not apply hand hygiene before contact with patients; 75% of nurses did not apply hand hygiene before aseptic action; 75% of nurses apply hand hygiene after contact with the patient's environment; 93.7% of nurses apply hand hygiene after contact with patients, and 100% of nurses apply hand hygiene after being exposed to the patient's body fluids. Finally, only four respondents (25%) thoroughly applied five hand hygiene moments.
 CONCLUSIONS: The leadership role of the head nurse is needed to optimize the practicing of hand hygiene in the hospital inpatient room, which is shown through role models, continuous supervision, and evaluation. In addition, good infrastructure is also needed to support these activities.

Relationship Between Patient Perceptions Of The Quality Of Inpatient Registration Services And Satisfaction Of Inpatients

The hospital, as a referral level health service institution has the task of providing complete individual health services which include promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative. Hospitals must meet the completeness of professional human resources, superior facilities where all of these indicators can affect service delivery to provide satisfaction to patients. This study aims to determine the relationship between patient perceptions of the quality of inpatient registration services and satisfaction of inpatients at GrandMed Hospital inpatient room, using an analytical survey research type. The sample of this study were 30 patients in the Ns 3D room using a questionnaire instrument. The sampling technique used is total sampling using the chi square test with a 95% confidence level = (0.05). The results showed that there was a relationship between inpatients’ perceptions of the quality of inpatient registration services based on responsiveness (P= 0.049 < (0.05) and empathy (P= 0.000 < (0.05) with inpatient satisfaction at Ns 3D GrandMed Hospital Lubuk Pakam. There is no relationship between inpatients’ perceptions about the quality of inpatient registration services based on tangible (P= 0.414 > (0.05), reliability (P= 0.283 > (0.005) and assurance (P= 0.783 > (0.05) with satisfaction of inpatients at Ns 3D Hospital GrandMed Lubuk Pakam. The results of this study are expected to be taken into consideration to improve the quality of services in the inpatient registration room at GrandMed Hospital.

Characteristic Relationship of Nurses in Charge of Patients and Procedures for Patient Service Management by Case Manager with Performance of Nurses in Charge of Patients in the Inpatient Room of TGK Chik Ditiro Sigli Regional General Hospital

The presence of case managers in hospitals is important as part of patient-centered care and plays a role in helping to improve interprofessional collaboration. Case Manager collaborates with nurses in charge of patients related to nursing care provided to patients, so that the implementation of patient service management procedures by a good case manager will have an impact on the good quality of work of nurses in charge of patients. The general purpose of this study is to identify the characteristic relationship of nurses in charge of patients and the management of patient services by case managers with the performance of nurses in charge of patients in the Hospital Inpatient Room TGK. Chik Ditiro. The population in this study was 75 nurses in charge of patients. This study uses a descriptive design correlation with cross sectional approach, Researchers use total sampling techniques as sampling techniques so that the sample in this study amounted to 75 people, this study was housed in TGK Hospital. Chik Ditiro. The results illustrate that there is a relationship between age (p = 0.000), education level (p = 0.009), working life (p = 0.001), and patient service management procedures (p = 0,000) with the performance of nurses in charge of patients. Other results found that there was no relationship between sex (p=0.567) and the performance of the nurse in charge of the patient. The most dominant factor related to the performance of nurses in charge of patients is the management of patient services (EXP B = 19,981. A case manager must be able to carry out every service management procedure well so that nursing care can be provided optimally to patients. In addition, the case manager must also be able to conduct good communication with PPJP and with other interprofessionals so that it can provide optimal results related to the outcome of the care provided. Someone with a high level of job satisfaction shows a positive attitude towards his job, while someone who is dissatisfied with his job shows a negative attitude towards his job. This study aims to examine the factors (age, education, gender, years of service, salary, supervision, working conditions, relations between employees, opportunities for advancement, financial security) that affect nurse job satisfaction. Quantitative research used the study with a cross sectional design. The research instrument is a questionnaire. The study was conducted on June-July, 2017 on 64 nurse respondents at dr. Reksodiwriyo Hospital. Data analysis using Chi-Square and Fisher's Exact. The results showed that only the period of service, working conditions, relationships between employees and financial security were related to job satisfaction, while other factors were not related. It is recommended to improve the factors that affect job satisfaction to maximize the work of nurses.

The Relationship of Leadership Style of the Head Room with Nurse's Work Motivation

Most of the hospital employees are nurses. Nurses work 24 hours to provide nursing care. Nursing with this large number of course requires reliable leadership. Leadership is one of the managerial aspects in organizational life that aims to influence, move and direct one's actions in certain situations to achieve goals. Leadership will be reflected in the leadership style that will be applied to subordinates. Leadership style is a form of behavior from a leader that can affect a person's work motivation and become a driving force for work morale. The purpose of this study was to analyze leadership with work motivation of nurses in hospital inpatient rooms. ype of research is a quantitative method with a non-experimental approach, with adesign cross sectional where data collection for the independent and dependent variables is carried out at the same time. The research sample consisted of 32 nurse with total sampling technique. The analytical test used is rank spearman. Results obtained are that the democratic leadership style affects the work motivation of high nurses with p value = 0.000 and Rho = 0.656

HUBUNGAN KOMUNIKASI TERAPEUTIK PERAWAT DENGAN TINGKAT KEPUASAN PASIEN DI RUANG RAWAT INAP RSUD MABA

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between nurses' therapeutic communication and the level of patient satisfaction in the Maba Hospital inpatient room. This research uses quantitative methods. The type of quantitative research used is quantitative bivariate correlation. With the simple random sampling technique (simple random sample), namely the technique of taking samples from members of the population that is done randomly without paying attention to the existing strata in the population of 52 respondents. The test used is the Rank Spearman. The results of the therapeutic communication study were found to be almost entirely good (86.5%). The level of patient satisfaction found that almost all of them felt high satisfaction (75%). The results of the Spearman rank statistical test obtained the sig number. = 0.000 <0.05, where there is a relationship between the therapeutic communication of nurses and the level of patient satisfaction in the inpatient room of Maba Hospital. It is hoped that nurses will continue to maintain and improve therapeutic communication in order to increase patient satisfaction. Stres Kerja Perawat Psikiatri di Ruang Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit Jiwa


 Psychiatric nursing is considered one of the most stressful jobs in the world. 1 to 3 medical workers in the department of psychiatry have been reported to have higher fatigue levels than medical workers in other departments. This study aimed to determine the level of work stress of psychiatric nurses in the Mental Hospital. This type of research is descriptive. The sampling technique used purposive sampling of as many as 83 nurses from 12 inpatient rooms at the Aceh Mental Hospital with the criteria of implementing nurses, marital status, D3, and S1 education, nurses on duty, and willing to be respondents in this study. The instrument used to measure work stress is The Workplace Stress Scale which contains 8 statement items with 5 Likert scales. The results showed that the majority of respondents were in the category of severe stress (32.5%) followed by moderate stress (28.9%), potentially dangerous (24.1%), and mild stress (14.5%). Work stress on psychiatric nurses in the Aceh Mental Hospital inpatient room is in the category of severe stress. It is recommended that the hospital increase cooperation between nurses and other health workers and clarify the duties of nurses to reduce work stress on psychiatric nurses.

Antibacterial activity of Laja Gowah (Alpinia malaccensis (Brum.f) Roscoe) oil in Reducing the Number of Staphylococcus aureus Colonies in Hospital Wards

Staphylococcus aureus is one of the pathogenic bacteria that cause nosocomial infections in hospitals. The use of essential oil-based antibacterials for hospital wards was developed to prevent nosocomial infections. Laja gowah oil is an essential oil isolated from the Alpinia malaccensis plant, which belongs to the Zingiberaceae plant group. The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial activity of laja gowah oil in reducing the number of S. aureus colonies in hospital inpatient rooms through the air diffusion method. The compound content in laja gowah oil was analyzed with GC-MS. The study of antibacterial activity using the total plant counts continued with the colony count test, Gram staining, catalase test, and coagulase test. Laja gowah oil contains methyl cinnamate and 1,8-cineole. The installation time of the diffuser containing laja gowah oil affects the number of colonies of S. aureus bacteria in hospital wards. The antibacterial activity of laja gowah oil was influenced by the synergistic effect of methyl cinnamate and 1,8-cineole compounds.

The Relationship between Nurse's Characteristics and Motivation with the Implementation of International Patient Safety Goal

Patient safety is a mandatory requirement that must be implemented in all hospitals and is one of the efforts in implementing International Patient Safety Goals (IPSG). The study aims to determine the relationship between nurses' characteristics and motivation with the implementation of IPSG in Inpatient Rooms at Aceh Government Hospital. This study was a quantitative study with cross-sectional study design. The total samples were 122 nurses which were selected through a simple random sampling method. Data was collected using a questionnaire consisted of respondent's characteristics, the implementation of IPSG, and motivation aspect using The Unified Motivation Scales (UMS). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical tests and nonparametric inferential statistical tests; chi-square and logistic regression test. This study found that there was no relationship between age, gender, marital status with the implementation of IPSG. Education, employment status, length of work, and motivation have relations with IPSG. Education with odds ratio = 33.469 and the need for achievement with odds ratio = 9.669 were the sub-variables that were significantly related to the implementation of IPSG in Inpatient Rooms at Aceh Government Hospital. Base on the result, it can be concluded that the nurses' characteristics of education and the need for achievement were the most significant predictors related to the implementation of IPSG in the Inpatient Rooms at Aceh Government Hospital. Implementing IPSG in the Aceh Hospital Inpatient Room can be continuously improved by always motivating nurses, providing rewards, and encouraging an attitude of need for achievement, affiliation and need for power.Keywords: Implementation, IPSG, Motivation, Nurse.

Analysis of Nurse Characteristics with Work Motivation in Wamena Hospital

Lately there has been attention to work dissatisfaction and declining quality. Most people find it difficult to motivate themselves, therefore it is not surprising that motivating others is a difficult and complicated task. Motivation indicates the process of movement, including the encouraging situation that arises within the individual, the behavior caused by the situation and the purpose or end of the movement or action. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of nurse characteristics with work motivation in Wamena Hospital inpatient room.
 This type of research is quantitative with an observational approach. The population is the entire nursing plant in Wamena Hospital with 186 people. Large samples were taken as many as 64 respondents. Sampling techniques used in this study is a simple random sampling technique.
 Based on the results of the study it is known that there is a meaningful relationship between age, working period and position with work motivation. While there are several factors that are not related to work motivation, namely gender, education and marital status. The statistical test used is path analysis. Statistical tests can be concluded that there is a meaningful relationship to variables as follows: the characteristics of nurses that affect work motivation are age, years of service and position, while the characteristics of gender, education and marital status do not have a significant relationship with work motivation.
 Based on the results of the study is expected to improve the ability and insight of nursing and motivation of work so that their productivity does not decrease. For example, give remuneration, promotion and periodic reward for outstanding nurses will encourage the motivation of nurse work to develop.

The Relationship between Workload and Social Support with Nurse Job Satisfaction in Hospital Inpatient Room

Introduction: Concern for good psychological condition of nurse regarding workload and social support in every job they do is an effective strategy to increase nurse job satisfaction. Nurse job satisfaction is important for the creation of better nurse performance. The purpose of the study was to explain the relationship between workload and social support with nurse job satisfaction in the inpatient room of RSUD Dr. Harjono Ponorogo.Method: The study used a descriptive correlational design with a cross sectional approach. The study population was 164 nurses in the inpatient room of RSUD Dr. Harjono Ponorogo. The sample size of 116 respondents was obtained by using cluster random sampling technique. The independent variables are workload and social support, while the dependent variable is nurse job satisfaction. The instruments used are workload questionnaire, social support questionnaire, and nurse job satisfaction questionnaire. Data analysis were used descriptive test and logistic regression test with a significant value of p ≤ 0.05.Results: There was a relationship between workload (p=0.000), social support (p=0,003), instrumental support (p=0.003), informational support (p=0.020), emotional support (p=0.004), appceciation support (p=0.019) with nurse job satisfaction.Conclusions: The light workload is characterized by a balance between the number of nurses and the demands of the existing task and good social support (instrumental support, informational support, emotional support, appreciation support), that nurses feel cared for and appreciated, can increase nurse job satisfaction. So that the performance of nurses increases and creates professional nursing services.

Hubungan Antara Perilaku Caring Perawat Terhadap Kepuasan Pasien Saat Pandemi Covid-19 di Ruang Perawatan Salah Satu Rumah Sakit Swasta di Yogyakarta

 Background: Patient satisfaction is one of the factors used to evaluate the quality of service in the hospital, and is one of the factors determining the image of a health service institution. Nursing service satisfaction is obtained from consumer assessments regarding the quality and performance of the benefits received from products or services. Quality nursing services can be realized through the provision of nursing care based on the caring behavior of nurses. Caring behavior must always be carried out by nurses in all conditions, even during the current COVID-19 pandemic situation. In the preliminary study conducted, Elisabeth 4's inpatient room was the room that experienced the lowest decrease in customer satisfaction.
 Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurse caring behavior and patient satisfaction during the COVID-19 pandemic in Elisabeth 4 Hospital's inpatient room. Panti Rapih, Yogyakarta.
 Methods: This type of research is a descriptive correlation. This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional design. Using non probability sample techniques, purposive sample. The sample used was 37 respondents. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire that is given directly to the respondent in Januari 2021 sampai Februari 2021.
 Results: The highest nurse caring behavior was in the good category, 83.8% of the total respondents. The highest level of satisfaction is "Satisfied" 54.1% of the total respondents and "Very Satisfied" as much as 43.2% of the total respondents. Based on the results of the Spearman rho test, P value 0.007 is, this means that there is a significant relationship between nurse caring behavior and the level of patient satisfaction. The Correlation Coefficient value is positive, which indicates that there is a strong relationship between nurse caring behavior and the level of patient satisfaction.
 Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between nurse caring behavior and patient satisfaction. The direction of the positive correlation shows that the higher the nurse's caring behavior, the higher the patient's satisfaction in nursing services.
 Suggestion: It is necessary for nurses to increase knowledge, attitudes and skills especially when carrying out their role as executor of professional nursing actions.
 Panti Rapih Hospital management should continue to encourage the spirit of caring behaviour during the COVID-19 pandemic, by improving the physical, mental and spiritual health of nurses so that nurses can provide professional nursing services.

Air contamination of households versus hospital inpatient rooms occupied by severe acute respiratory coronavirus virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)-positive patients.

The household setting has some of the highest coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) secondary-attack rates. We compared the air contamination in hospital rooms versus households of COVID-19 patients. Inpatient air samples were only positive at 0.3 m from patients. Household air samples were positive even without a COVID-19 patient in the proximity to the air sampler.

Relationship Of Patient Characteristics With Compliance With Lifestyle Modifications In Recovery Post Diabetes Mellitus Patients

Diabetes mellitus is a group of metabolic diseases with hyperglycemic characteristics that occur due to abnormal insulin secretion, insulin action or both. In managing the disease, the patient's role is very important, especially in terms of increasing adherence in establishing therapy in order to achieve optimal blood glucose levels to prevent more severe complications. Objective The relationship between patient characteristics and the level of adherence to lifestyle modification in the recovery of patients after DM Method This research is analytical research with cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in the Pelni Hospital Room in Jakarta in May 2017. The population was all patients with diabetes mellitus who came to the Pelni Hospital room. Sampling using a consecutive sampling technique with a total sample of 65 people. Primary data collection instruments using DM risk factor questionnaire. Results of the study In this study respondents who were the subject of the study were Diabetes Mellitus sufferers who visited the Pelni Hospital Inpatient Room Jakarta. Differences in characteristics possessed by each patient, can indirectly affect patient compliance in taking drugs. In table 1 it can be seen that in the age group below 45 years have a higher compliance that is equal to 70.0% compared to the age group above 45 years which is 25.5%. This shows the tendency between patient compliance in taking diabetes medications, where the younger the patient's age, the more likely it is to be obedient in consuming diabetes medications. Conclusion Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the age and level of education of patients with the level of adherence in undergoing treatment. However, there is no significant relationship between the sex of the patient and the level of adherence in undergoing treatment.

Relationship on Knowledge Level of Nurses About Prevention of Decubitus Towards Stroke Patients in The Inpatient Room

The decubitus is damage to the integrity of the skin or can be said to be a wound due to trauma and surgery as well as a chronic disease caused by prolonged pressure on the skin which causes irritation. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of nurses in preventing pressure sores on stroke patients in the inpatient room. By conducting a study entitled the relationship between the level of knowledge of nurses about prevention of pressure sores on stroke patients in the inpatient room at RSU Imelda Workers Indonesia Medan in 2020. This research is a quantitative study using a descriptive correlation design with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were nurses who served in the inpatient room as many as 133 nurses and the sample in this study was 57 nurses based on sampling technique. While the incidence at Imelda Hospital Medan based on the level of knowledge of nurses based on the majority of respondents whose age interval is 20-25 years as many as 25 people (44%), while the minority of respondents whose age interval is 41-45 years are 5 people (9%). Based on the majority of respondents whose last education interval was D3 as many as 35 people (61%), while the minority of respondents whose last education interval was Nurses were 4 people (7%). Based on the majority of respondents whose gender interval is female as many as 34 people (60%), while the minority of respondents whose gender interval is male as many as 23 people (40%). And the majority of respondents whose working period interval is less than 1 year are 19 people (33%), while the minority of respondents whose working period is 7-8 years are 23 people (40%). ), while as many as 16 people (28%), and less than 10 people (18%). Conclusions were obtained based on the research. The level of knowledge of nurses about decubitus in the Imelda Hospital inpatient room, Medan, was that most nurses already understood. And the suggestion from the researcher is that it is highly expected to be able to further improve the right service for stroke patients in the Imelda Hospital inpatient room, Medan.

Application of ultraviolet light as an indoor disinfectant

WHO announced a new outbreak disease, COVID-19, as a public health emergency that has plagued the world since January 30, 2020. Critical readiness and response are needed, such as equipping healthcare workers and facility management with important information, procedures, and tools to be safe and working effectively in responding to the outbreak. One of the critical hospital's services facilities is an isolation room/inpatient room. This room needs to be sterilized using a disinfectant regularly. The use of disinfectants, such as chemical fluids can only kill vegetative cells from microbes/viruses. Microbes/viruses, especially in the form of vegetative cells, could be killed by ultraviolet exposure. The objectives of this service program are: (1) Improving the cleanliness of hospital inpatient rooms so that they can be used immediately in treating patients (2) Speeding up the process of cleaning/sterilizing hospital inpatient rooms/isolation given the increasing number of patients in monitoring for covid-19 cases. The problem with inpatient sanitation/isolation in hospitals is usually many microbes in the indoor air. Clean and sterile inpatient/isolation rooms are needed in the patient's care. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the process of cleaning /sterilizing the inpatient room/isolation in the hospital by using UV exposure.

The Implementation Of 3S (SDKI, SIKI, SLKI) to The Quality Of Nursing Care Documentation In Hospital’s Inpatient Rooms

The implementation of 3S (SDKI, SIKI, and SLKI) is a benchmark used as a guideline for the enforcement of nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, and a nursing outsider to provide safe, effective, and ethical nursing care. This study aims to analyze the implementation of 3S on the quality of documentation in hospital inpatient rooms. Research design correlation analysis with the cross-sectional approach. The research sample of implementing nurses in hospital inpatient rooms who have implemented 3S. Sampling techniques use sampling quotas. Based on Chi-Square test results obtained, p-value = 0.001 < α 0.005 . It means there is a relationship of application of 3S to the quality of nursing care documentation in hospital inpatient rooms. Based on the results of this study, the Head of Nursing is expected to implement 3S to improve the quality of nursing care documentation, which will have an impact on improving the quality of nursing services
