Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between nurses' therapeutic communication and the level of patient satisfaction in the Maba Hospital inpatient room. This research uses quantitative methods. The type of quantitative research used is quantitative bivariate correlation. With the simple random sampling technique (simple random sample), namely the technique of taking samples from members of the population that is done randomly without paying attention to the existing strata in the population of 52 respondents. The test used is the Rank Spearman. The results of the therapeutic communication study were found to be almost entirely good (86.5%). The level of patient satisfaction found that almost all of them felt high satisfaction (75%). The results of the Spearman rank statistical test obtained the sig number. = 0.000 <0.05, where there is a relationship between the therapeutic communication of nurses and the level of patient satisfaction in the inpatient room of Maba Hospital. It is hoped that nurses will continue to maintain and improve therapeutic communication in order to increase patient satisfaction. The management always listens to patient complaints as well as criticisms and suggestions and for further researchers to examine other variables
