MODAHA KAMBUNGU: PENINGKATAN KESADARAN MASYARAKAT DESA BUNUYO TERHADAP PENYEBARAN HOAX SEBAGAI TINDAK PIDANA MENJELANG PILKADA SERENTAK 2024

The negative impact of the spread of hoaxes in the face of general elections, including the regional head elections in Pohuwato Regency in 2024, is important to guard against the spread of false news so that horizontal conflicts do not occur between communities while creating a healthy democratic climate. Therefore, a series of service activities were carried out in solving the problem by setting a location in Bunuyo Village as one of the villages that will hold Pilkada in Pohuwato Regency. The community service activities were carried out in the form of zone mapping on the vulnerability of hoax distribution, legal counseling on the forms and dangers of hoax distribution, and Digital Literacy training as well as the formation of community groups that anticipate the spread of hoaxes. The final result of the implementation of this service is the knowledge of the potential of village areas that are vulnerable to the spread of hoaxes. thus, counseling efforts and digital literacy training are carried out, leading to the existence of community groups formed with the task of anticipating and counteracting hoax problems ahead of the Pilkada in order to create a conducive area and safe Pilkada.

MISIOLOGI KONTEKSTUAL DI INDONESIA: SOLUSI TEOLOGIS DAN SOSIAL UNTUK MASYARAKAT PLURALIS

In Indonesia, a pluralistic society with diverse cultures, religions, ethnicities, and worldviews poses significant challenges to church missiology. Horizontal conflicts related to religion and ethnicity are a frequent occurrence in the course of the nation's journey. This article explores the theological and social approaches to dealing with the issue's complexity. It investigates how the church can be a positive change agent in promoting interfaith dialogue, building social harmony, and strengthening cross-cultural understanding. Using a research method that involves theological study and social analysis expressed in a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach to understand the church's and missionaries' role in contemporary society. The conclusion is the need for the church to understand the dynamics of pluralism in the context of missiology in Indonesia so that it can provide a theological approach strategy in missiology for multicultural societies and also the importance of social strategies in facing the challenges of missiology in contemporary society. Finally, it can provide social and cultural impacts and implications for the practice of missiology in Indonesia. hence highlighting the need for a holistic approach that integrates theology with the social context of society, so that missiology can play an effective role in facing contemporary challenges and expanding its positive impact in social and spiritual transformation in Indonesia.

Peran Patroli Perintis Presisi dalam Mencegah Terjadinya Tawuran di Wilayah Hukum Polda Metro Jaya

The phenomenon of brawls in the DKI Jakarta area is increasing due to environmental, economic, and population density factors in the region. The literature references that form the main basis of this research are situational crime prevention theory, iceberg theory, social conflict theory, youth identity theory, as well as the concepts of community policing, and precision inspector patrols. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques of interviews and document studies. The results showed that the role of the Precision Inspector Patrol in preventing fighting in the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya is to ensure that patrols and general guards can run smoothly, be responsible for each assignment, training, and supervision of patrol teams in other units, be the front guard to carry out various preventive and responsive efforts, conduct routine patrols, respond to reports from the public, and maintain the situation in the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya to remain conducive and under control. Through this role, the strategies that can be carried out by the Metro Jaya Police Precision Inspector Patrol Team in preventing fighting crimes are preemptive, preventive, and repressive strategies that are investigative in nature. The community policing policy model in an effort to maximise the implementation of the Precision Pioneer Patrol to prevent horizontal conflicts in the Polda Metro Jaya jurisdiction can be realised through several management stages which include communication and synergy, cooperation, handling, and performance evaluation. Thanks to this, the Precision Pioneer Patrol has been able to reduce the number of horizontal conflicts that occur in the Polda Metro Jaya jurisdiction. The suggestions are for the Precision Pioneer Patrol Team to increase the frequency of patrols at night in the red and yellow zones, for future researchers to apply GIS as an early detection map of conflict-prone areas, and for cooperation partners to expand the scope of programme implementation P2TP2A Unit, PPA Unit, and FKDM to provide an understanding of the importance of Precision Pioneer Patrol in preventing horizontal conflicts.

Mediation of Boundary Conflict between the Dani Tribe and the Mee Tribe in Nabire Regency

This study discusses the implementation of mediation in handling territorial boundary conflicts between the Mee and Danoi tribes in Nabire Regency. Territorial boundary conflicts in Nabire have become a serious concern, leading to horizontal and social conflicts. Mediation is one of the best alternatives for conflict resolution. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the dynamics of the conflict and the mediation efforts carried out by the government and other stakeholders. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection from literature, the internet, and applicable legislation. The findings of this study indicate that this conflict is a social conflict affecting regional stability. However, the role of the government as a mediator is crucial in resolving land disputes. The mediator functions as a neutral party with experience, capability, and integrity in problem-solving. It is recommended that territorial boundaries be recognized as triggers for horizontal conflicts between communities. Therefore, it is suggested that local and regional governments coordinate to form a working team to issue a Regent or Regional Regulation on Village Boundary Determination in cooperation with local village and traditional authorities.

Reconstruction Of Provincial Authority In The Field Of Marine Affairs And Fisheries To Regency/City Governments In Realizing The Welfare Of Small-Scale Fishermen In Indonesia

<em>Horizontal conflicts occurred after the UUPD came into effect because there were regulations regarding changes in marine zoning for small fishing communities. Meanwhile, the authority of the district/city government over coastal areas and small islands has been regulated in the UUPWP3K that the authority of the regional government to manage coastal and small island resources. This study aims to analyze the provisions of laws and regulations on regional government and coastal area management as regulated in the regulations on coastal areas and small islands, and how to reconstruct the authority of the provincial government to the district/city government as before. The research method used is normative legal research. Normative legal research is research that is carried out or directed at legislation, namely the relationship between one regulation and another and its relation to implementation in practice. The results of the study show that since the UUPD came into effect, the authority to manage the marine and fisheries sector as well as coastal areas and small islands by the district/city government has been reduced. The zoning area of 0-4 miles which was originally managed by the district/city government is now managed by the provincial government, thus making the provincial authority zoning 0-12 miles</em>

Multicultural relation between religious communities in Indonesia

Indonesia is a nation with different religious affiliations and this diversity has substantial implications for inter-religious relations. The multi-religious context presented challenges in the form of potential horizontal conflicts. Therefore, this study aims to analyse the significance of cultivating an attitude of openness and engaging in constructive dialogue among different faiths to address the challenges effectively. Traditions in Minahasa show various important values for religious moderation, which have the potential to contribute ideas to issues of relations between communities. This article is a qualitative descriptive analysis method. Several references such as articles, books and other related sources are the backbone to construct the ideas and insights of this work. The results show that the multicultural reality accompanied by fundamentalist attitudes has an impact on interreligious relations. This can be prevented and reduced with the concept of dialogue from the values and philosophy of si tou timou tumou tou and torang samua basudara.Contribution: This article serves as a valuable contribution to the religious discourse within the Indonesian community, particularly by incorporating the rich local values derived from Minahasa. It adds depth to the ongoing religious dialogue, fostering a nuanced understanding that embraces the diverse cultural and spiritual perspectives present in Indonesia.

Model Pendekatan Kepentingan Sebagai Resolusi Konflik Sunni Syiah di Kota Bangil Pada Tahun 2011

This study is intended to describe the pattern of resolving sectarian conflicts of Sunni and Shia groups in Bangil. One of these knowledge is the spread of Shia teachings throughout the world, including Indonesia. In Indonesia, 2012 saw for the first time open conflict between Sunni Shia in Sampang, Madura that left two people dead, and five others seriously injured. Interestingly, one year earlier there was also a Sunni Shia conflict in Bangil in 2011 which caused six minor injuries and one serious injury and other material losses. However, the conflict in Bangil was quickly suppressed by the authorities with the support of local communities so as not to cause a bigger conflict. The de-escalation of the conflict is believed to be the result of meeting the interests of the parties concerned in order to maintain security in Bangil. Therefore, in this study, the author has an interest in analyzing in more detail what kind of interest approach model so that the Sunni and Shia conflict in Bangil Pasuruan City can be suppressed so as not to cause wider horizontal conflicts as happened in the Sunni Shia conflict in Sampang in 2011.

Parenting Patterns of Substitute Parents for Children of Indonesian Migrant Workers

This research is motivated by the importance of parenting education for the families of Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI) working abroad, especially in the Donomulyo District, Malang Regency, which has become a major concern for the government. With a focus on strengthening social capital and Spiritual Capital, this study aims to address horizontal conflicts resulting from poverty conditions and conflicts among families and social environments. This dissertation focuses on strengthening social capital in parenting education for the families of Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI) working abroad, with a study on the behavior of caregivers and children from TKW familiesin the Donomulyo District, Malang Regency. It aims to provide insights and practical recommendations to support the fulfillment of child custody rights in the context of TKI families working abroad by strengthening social capital and Spiritual Capital. The research uses a qualitative method, involving interviews, documentation, and observation, and uses interactive data analysis as a data analysis technique. By exploring how strengthening social capital can influence parenting practices in the context of poverty and horizontal conflicts, as well as how this can support the fulfillment of child custody rights. The results show that poverty conditions drive the choices of migrant laborers, creating closed horizontal conflicts within families and social environments. To create social concern for the children of migrant laborers, strengthening Spiritual Capital in social capital is needed, including Bridging Social Capital and Bonding Social Capital, oriented towards family and community actors in shaping attitudes and behaviors that are friendly to children. Implications include strategies to increase social capital and Spiritual Capital, as well as the importance of developing deep communication and social support between families and communities.

SUNAN KUDUS' STRATEGIC APPROACH TO CULTURAL ADAPTATION IN THE SELF-OTHER PERSPECTIVE

Sunan Kudus is one of the Walisongo (the nine revered saints of Islam in Indonesia) figures with a particular way of delivering his teachings. To adapt to the community when conveying the teachings of Islam, he employed art and culture as a medium, established architectural foundations, and established social harmony, so much so that the people of Kudus became relatively untouched by horizontal conflicts. This article aims to explore the cultural adaptation models carried out by Sunan Kudus, find the underlying life principles he utilized, and analyze the thoughts and value principles he maintained within the conceptual framework of self-relationship and self-other relationship. The current research is a field study supported by literary data. The research results of this study indicate that he carried out approaches to the community by emphasizing attitudes of mutual respect, humility, and capacity to benefit the surrounding environment. He demonstrated ways of gaining public sympathy through caution and gradual progress. He entered the community’s life, approached the community members, and understood the things they needed. He applied a cultural approach and technology to help the community fulfil its needs. Prioritizing fostering tolerance among them, he highly encouraged the promotion of community approach that avoided the use of violent means. This study complements the literature on Sunan Kudus about the concept of self-other. This is a new finding concerning the life concepts of Sunan Kudus in his relationship with others, with these concepts functioning as a means for him to win the hearts and minds of the people of Kudus to follow the teachings of Islam and to consider him as a role model. The study results have yet to reveal the concept of self-other in terms of the relationship between human beings (Sunan Kudus) and other creatures.

Analisis Kebijakan Restorasi Ekosistem Gambut di Indonesia dengan Discourse Network Analysis

After the forest fires in 2014-2016, the Government of Indonesia (GoI) placed the restoration of the peatland ecosystem (RPE) as one of its priority policies in the environmental sector. This study seeks to analyze RPE in Indonesia using a discourse network analysis approach. Researchers utilize Twitter as primary research data. This data was processed with R, rDNA, and Gephi. Researchers found three network patterns that are connected to RPE efforts in Indonesia. First, affiliate networks connect actors and the concepts voiced by the actors. This network involves various actors such as government institutions, civil society organizations, private corporations, universities, research institutes, foreign governments, international organizations, and local citizens. The dominant concept in the affiliate network is peatland restoration and multi-stakeholder collaboration. Second, the actor congruence network assigns Mangrove and Peatland Restoration Agency (Badan Restorasi Gambut dan Mangrove or BRGM) as the dominant and central actors. However, some actors are not connected to the core network and create separate sub-groups. Third, a network of conflicts between actors involving four conflict themes: Government Regulation Number 57/2016 concerning Amendments to Government Regulation Number 71/2014 on Protection and Management of Peatland Ecosystems, peatland conversion, horizontal conflicts between the local community and plantation corporations, and prevention and law enforcement related to forest fires. The researcher recommends BRGM to: (a) strengthen collaborative practices with the various parties involved in RPE; (b) beware in converting peatland so it does not damage the peatland ecosystem landscape; (c) integrate community conflicts with plantation corporations as part of the RPE agenda in Indonesia. The researcher also recommends NGO activists in Indonesia who care about peatlands to continue monitoring and criticizing the RPE process in Indonesia, and fight for local community groups that have been marginalized by the RPE process. Researchers also encourage plantation corporations, both oil palm plantations and industrial timber plantations, to jointly guard RPE in Indonesia by not opening up new land as part of the actual contribution of the Indonesian people to climate change adaptation and mitigation.

Kewenangan Pemerintah Daerah Dalam Pengelolaan Wilayah Pesisir dan Pulau-Pulau Kecil

Introduction: The regional authority to manage the resources of coastal areas of the sea and small islands as far as 12 miles for the province based on Law No. 9 of 2015 concerning the Second Amendment to Law No. 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government causes horizontal conflicts of sea plots in the society. Not only conflicts between government institutions (sectoral conflicts) but also related to regional authorities in managing coastal marine resources and small islands.
 Purposes of the Research: To analyze various provisions of laws and regulations governing the authority of local governments in the management of coastal areas and small islands, as well as the role of local governments in the management of coastal areas and small islands.
 Methods of the Research: The type of research used is normative legal research that studies how legal norms are. The data collection method uses the library research. This study used secondary data obtained from various literature and regulations.
 Results of the Research: The results showed that since the enactment of Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government, the authority to manage marine waters by the Regency / City Government has decreased. The zoning area as far as 0-4 miles which was originally managed by the Regency / City Government is now managed by the Provincial Government so as to make the zoning of the Provincial authority 0-12 miles. While the authority to manage sea areas more than 12 miles is carried out by the Central Government. In addition, the authority of Regional Governments in the management of coastal areas is also regulated in Law No. 1 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law No. 27 of 2007 concerning Management of Coastal Areas and Small Islands, Article 1 and Article 63 of Regional Governments organize government according to the principle of autonomy, which is a division of elective concurrent government affairs, where Regional Governments play an important role in community empowerment.

PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP KEBERADAAN GAJAH DI DESA TEGAL YOSO KABUPATEN LAMPUNG TIMUR

The public's perception of the existence of elephants, which are often on community cultivated land and outside forest areas, is very important to study, as a guide in mitigating conflicts between humans and elephants. This conflict has economic, socio-cultural and ecological impacts. This research aims to analyze the economic, social and cultural impacts of human-elephant conflict, based on community perceptions. This research was carried out in Tegal Yoso Village, East Lampung Province. This research method was carried out by means of field surveys and interviews with the community as many as 30 respondents. The results of this research show that people understand that elephants are considered protected animals, but elephants are also destroyers of people's crops or plant pests. The economic impact that occurs is the size of the potential harvest of agricultural crops, especially corn, rice and cassava. This conflict causes crop failure losses of 30% -100% of agricultural crops. On the other hand, elephant activity results in damage to work huts, lookout towers, human injuries, broken bones and even fatalities. This conflict also resulted in socio-cultural impacts on the community, such as horizontal conflicts between communities and vertical conflicts, namely between the community and Way Kambas National Park officials. On the other hand, the community agrees that there is social responsibility in the form of mutual cooperation in controlling elephant attacks. Another effort that has been implemented is the construction of embankments and canals. The community agrees that efforts to resolve the conflict between elephants and humans continue to be made. The community hopes that Way Kambas National Park can provide the latest innovations in overcoming conflict.Keywords: conflict, economic and social-cultural, impact, elephants, people

SOLUSI PENGENTASAN KEMISKINAN PERSPEKTIF ALQURAN

Poverty is a serious problem faced by humanity, including in Indonesia. Poverty that is left without a solution will threaten the faith, morals, and thoughts of each individual. More than that, poverty is also very vulnerable to threatening social and national life by causing horizontal conflicts in society. The Quran as a syifa' is expected to be able to provide several solutions to alleviating existing poverty. This research aims to analyze the solutions offered by the Quran regarding poverty alleviation. This research adopts qualitative research whose data comes from the Quran. Quran verses are grouped into relevant themes. Grouping was carried out by reviewing studies by previous scholars. Research finds that empowering potential through work, creating social justice, appropriate use of resources, and distribution of wealth are the Quran's solutions to poverty. The Quran not only emphasizes the importance of each individual's hard work but at the same time also opposes the elite's monopoly on economic resources and encourages the creation of universal social justice.

Penguatan Nilai-Nilai Toleransi Dan Multikultural Melalui Huma Lentera Pada Masyarakat Desa Tarusan Danum Kabupaten Katingan

Strengthening the values of tolerance and diversity is essential in the life of the nation and state today. Horizontal conflicts based on Ethnicity, Race, Religion, and Class are increasingly influencing the situation. Therefore, it is important to promote genuine tolerance, as seen in Tarusan Danum Village, Katingan District. The purpose of community service there is to strengthen tolerance and diversity which is starting to decline. The method used in this service is PAR (Participation Action Research). The results show that in Tarusan Danum Village, in difficult situations, people help each other regardless of religion. Gotong-royong in cleaning public cemeteries is also carried out regardless of religious differences, because people see all religions as part of God's creation. This mutual help increases harmony between religious communities and promotes moderation and tolerance in religion. This service succeeded in strengthening religious moderation, strengthening tolerance, and building togetherness among people of various religions in Tarusan Danum Village

Toward Peaceful Dialogues; Sunni, Shi’a and Ahmadiya

The violence due to theological issues, especially as experienced by Shi’a and Ahmadiya in Indonesia suggests that religious sensitivity in a modern and democratic society is still a latent danger for the emergence of theological conflict in Muslim society. Even though they are in the same house (Islam) and referring to the same holy book, however, the reality shows that horizontal conflicts due to theological interest still occur and even pose a threat to religious life. Theological reasons are used as arguments to terrorize, attack, and eliminate other groups who are regarded differently. This research intends to reveal the common ground of the three theological schools, the impact of theological conflict, and to describe the role of the Indonesian government and society to create a conducive atmosphere in religious life.

Wacana dan Praktik Moderasi Beragama pada Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kota Metro

A moderate understanding of religion is a necessity for all Indonesians living side by side with various religions. Misunderstandings and extremes in understanding religious teachings can be a source of problems that can then lead to horizontal conflicts in society. An attitude of acknowledging the existence of others, respecting and respecting each other's differences, and not imposing desires in a violent way for the sake of creating harmony between religious communities. Indonesia as a country with religious diversity has the potential for friction between religious communities. This service is implemented at SMKN 1 Metro in order to increase knowledge, understanding, and moderation among students. By using the service learning method, this service tries to close the distance between campuses represented by lecturers and students who have problems in the community. The results were previously 14.5 percent of students did not understand religious moderation, after understanding religious moderation then tested through a post test and the results were 100 percent of students knew religious moderation. Students who answered religious moderation means being in religion has increased to 89.3 percent. Even as many as 20 percent previously considered religious moderation as an extreme attitude in religion no longer exists.

Ibrāhīm ‘Umar al-Biqā’ī: Embracing Previous Traditions Through Intertextual Interpretation

This article delves into the scholarly contributions of al-Biqā’ī, a thinker whose intellectual journey unfolded amidst the turbulent backdrop of the Crusades, a period marked by intense horizontal conflicts between Muslims and Christians. Despite the charged atmosphere of polemical exchanges, al-Biqā’ī’s approach to intertextual interpretation sets him apart as a unique figure. His receptivity to Christian and Jewish traditions in his Qur’anic interpretations reflects an openness that defies the prevailing discord. This study scrutinizes al-Biqā’ī’s perspective on the status of the Gospel and the Torah within the realm of Qur’anic interpretation. Employing textual analysis, we argue that al-Biqā’ī permits references to the Gospel and the Torah as complementary sources (isti’nās) within the interpretive framework. However, he restricts their use as foundational or legal arguments (istidlāl and ihtijāj), particularly in theological or doctrinal matters. Within the theological context, al-Biqā’ī advocates against referencing the Gospel or the Torah. Nevertheless, when these references are confined to the complementary realm, such as citing historical narratives more elaborately detailed in the Gospel and Torah, they enrich insight, knowledge, and the narrative fabric of Qur’anic interpretation.

Human Ontology in Critical Pedagogy and Its Implications for Multicultural Islamic Education

Plurality is an undeniable social reality. But unfortunately, lately there are many phenomena that show tension due to differences in identity. In this article, this is understood as the result of education that is not based on a correct view of human’s true nature. What happens is that education treats humans like programmed machines that can swallow all facts according to the interests of the authorities or elites. This condition is very dangerous because it negates students' ability to understand and reflect on diversity. So that pluralism is only understood as knowledge in theory, not as a reality that occurs every day. Horizontal conflicts are also very prone to occur due to the lack of individual acceptance of multiple realities. Because of this, it is deemed necessary to reorient education so that education is based on the view of the whole human being and enables students to be more adaptive in responding to the reality of plurality. In this article, this effort is made by integrating human ontology of critical pedagogy with the multicultural Islamic religious education. The focus on multicultural Islamic religious education is based on the consideration that religion is an important identity for a person and that Islam is the religion embraced by the majority of the Indonesian population. It is shown here that critical pedagogy understands human nature as an independent, conscious and egalitarian being. This ontology inspires a learning methodology that encourages dialogue, mutual understanding, critical awareness, and produces actions to overcome injustices.

There are many things that made us interested in this book where the book discusses a lot about the conflicts that exist on campus with the community, from this we can learn and also respond as students or the campus knows how to solve problems or solutions. which exists. The conflict incidents in this book can give us practice to prevent this from happening in the future and on other campuses. The theories provided in the studies can also be a source of reference for us as students. In the first chapter of this book, it discusses a university that has many agents of change, there are lecturers as educators or researchers, there are students who are always making changes in thinking and trying new methods and lifestyles, there are administrative and technical staff who have specific managerial and technical skills in supporting the teaching and learning process and managing the entire campus area. Small conflicts have continued to occur throughout the history of the development of this campus. The nuances of conflict between the Unimal campus community and the surrounding gampong community are actually an extension of the vertical and horizontal conflicts that have existed in Aceh for a long time, between the government (central and regional) and the Free Aceh Movement. It is the main discussion in this book. Like the conflict between the residents of the gampong around the campus and Unimal, it has been ongoing and intertwined with the wider conflict, the Aceh conflict which has been going on for quite a long time since 1953 which has put Aceh into a territory that is rebelling against the Central Government. This peace agreement became the initial capital for creating new socio-political conditions in post-conflict Aceh and as a prerequisite for carrying out rehabilitation and reconstruction activities for the area after being hit by the tsunami disaster on December 26, 2004. Several stages in the peace process were successfully passed with generally quite positive results. even unexpectedly; demobilizing GAM and decommissioning its weapons; non-organic redeployment of TNI/POLRI; amnesty for GAM political prisoners; reintegration of former GAM members; the enactment of Law Number 11 of 2006 concerning the Government of Aceh; and the election of the head of the Aceh administration and local elections at the district and city levels throughout Aceh.

An Alternative for Conflict-Based Criminal Settlement Based on Positive Law and Islamic Law

Procedural criminal law proceedings were seen to be ineffective and could even trigger a deeper conflict in Indonesia. This study aimed to identify an alternative for the settlement of criminal acts that originate from horizontal conflicts, based on positive law and Islamic criminal law, considering that Muslims make up the majority of the Indonesian population. This is crucial, considering Indonesia has more than 1,300 tribes and ethnicities. This study used a normative method with a philosophical and conceptual approach. The study results showed that, first, from the positive law perspective, criminal proceedings can be done through restorative justice, such as giving more attention to victims in the criminal justice process; penal mediation; peace; reconciliation, and political decisions. From the Islamic law perspective, settling by forgiveness; Islah; and political decisions are possible.
