Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah terhadap Motivasi Kerja Guru SD Negeri Kecamatan Sekadau Hilir

This study investigates the influence of school principals' leadership styles on the work motivation of elementary school teachers in Sekadau Hilir District. Using a quantitative correlational design, data were collected through surveys distributed to all teachers in public elementary schools within the district. The findings reveal a weak but positive relationship between the principal's leadership style and teacher motivation. Transformational leadership styles exhibited a stronger impact compared to other styles, emphasizing the role of inspiration and support. Additionally, the influence of leadership was moderated by local work culture, suggesting that cultural factors significantly shape the effectiveness of leadership in fostering teacher motivation. These results underline the need for adaptive leadership that aligns with cultural dynamics to enhance teacher motivation and overall educational quality.

Strengthening and Empowering of Community Observer and User of Biomass Waste Utilization Facility in Tadukan Raga Village, Deli Serdang Regency

Biogas is renewable energy that can be used as substitute of LPG and generator fuel. One of the uses of non-B3 biomass waste into energy has been implemented in Tadukan Raga village in Sinembah Tanjung Muda (STM) Hilir District, Deli Serdang Regency, which has been operating since 2018. This facility consists of a biogas producing unit and mushroom grumpy. This biogas unit is only capable of producing biogas which can be distributed to 20 points of the house, and the mushroom grumpy is also only limited to one type of mushroom, namely straw mushrooms. Apart from that, mushroom grumpy as a container for growing straw mushrooms is done by using empty oil palm bunches mixed with cow rumen. Therefore, the University of North Sumatra Community Service Institute conducted: (1) Operational training for biomass reactors through making starters to increase biogas production in facilities for utilizing non-hazardous biomass waste into energy (2) Addition of biogas piping networks and biogas stoves to nearby residents' homes. at facilities for utilizing non-B3 biomass waste into energy (3) Training on the decomposition of non-B3 biomass waste through the cultivation of straw mushrooms at facilities for utilizing non-B3 biomass waste into energy (4) Counseling on downstreaming of straw mushroom products at facilities for utilizing non-B3 biomass waste into energy.

Pemilihan Lokasi TPA Regional untuk Kota Medan dan Kabupaten Deli Serdang

The increase in the rate of development, population growth, and socio-economic activities has triggered an increase in waste generation, which is increasingly complex with conventional waste management that relies on collection, transportation, and disposal. This study aims to find a solution through three main stages: identification of waste conditions, preparation of a decision support system using the AHP Method, and analysis of the area with GIS application. The results of the study show that Limau Mungkur Village, STIM Hilir District, is considered the most appropriate location in the study area. Based on these results, the concept of selecting the criteria of Land Use, Hydrology, Groundwater Level Depth, Flood-prone Area, Settlement Distance, Zone Slope, Geology and Airport Distance became a determinant in the selection of location alternatives.

Meningkatkan Karakter Gotong Royong Peserta Didik dalam Pembelajaran PAKBP dengan Model PBL Fase C Kelas V di SDN 23 Periang

This research aims to describe the extent to which the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in PAKBP subjects can improve the mutual cooperation character of class V Phase C students at SDN 23 Periang, Kayan Hilir District, Sintang Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK), with two cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. The activity stages are planning, implementation, observation, analysis and reflection which are carried out face to face. The research is entitled "Improving Students' Mutual Cooperation Character in PAKBP Learning Using the PBL Phase C Model for Class V at SDN 23 Periang." The research was carried out at SDN 23 Periang from 13 to 20 September 2024. The research subjects were students in class 5 Phase C. The object of the research was the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in improving the mutual cooperation character of students in class V Phase C. Data collection was carried out by means of direct observation and distribution of questionnaires. Data analysis techniques: data collection, data condensation, presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the PBL model can be an effective approach in developing students' cooperative character. The results of the research also show that there is a significant increase in the mutual cooperation character of students, and is able to encourage the growth of an attitude of mutual cooperation. Through group activities and structured discussions, students are trained to respect each other's differences of opinion, share responsibility, share information and collaborate to achieve common goals. .

Pengaruh Interaksi Sosial terhadap Kemampuan Emosi Anak Usia Dini di Raudhatul Athfal Tunas Kualuh Kecamatan Kualuh Hilir Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara

This study aims to determine the effect of social interaction on the emotional abilities of early childhood in Raudhatul Athfal Tunas Kualuh, Kualuh Hilir District, North Labuhanbatu Regency and identify the effect of social interaction on children's emotional abilities. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research, the population in this study involved 30 respondents and respondents using instruments that were tested for validity and reliability of sampling techniques using probability techniques, data collection instruments using observation and documentation. As for the formulation of the problem, namely how is the social interaction of children in RA Tunas Kualuh, how is the emotional ability of children in RA Tunas Kualuh, and is there an influence of social interaction on children's emotional abilities in RA Tunas Kualuh? The data analysis techniques used are normality test, and homogeneity test and hypothesis test (T test). Based on the results of the study that the validity test shows that the instruments for social interaction variables (X1) and emotional abilities (Y2) are valid and reliable. Normality test with Kolmogorov-Smirnov shows that the data is normally distributed (Asymp.Sig. = 0.370). The homogeneity test showed that the variance between groups was homogeneous (Sig = 0.517). The results of the hypothesis test (T test) indicated that social interaction has a significant influence on children's emotional abilities (Sig = 0.000), with a Beta coefficient of -0.723. This study concluded that social interaction plays a significant role in influencing children's emotional abilities in RA Tunas Kualuh, with the instruments used being valid and reliable. Thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted that social interaction does have a significant influence on children's emotional abilities.

Study of Bacterial Contamination in Katingan River in Katingan Hilir Subdistric

River water pollution is caused by waste, particularly bacterial contamination resulting from a variety of waste types generated by community activities on the river coast. Stream water that is sullied with microbes, whenever utilized reasonably, will be exceptionally risky for the strength of stream seaside networks. EKSPLORASI KERAGAMAN PLASMA NUTFAH PADI LOKAL KUANTAN SINGINGI BERDASARKAN MORFOLOGI GABAH DAN BERAS

Farmers in specific region can play a crucial role in preventing the extinction of rare rice varieties by maintaining their commitment to local rice production. This not only contributes to the economic stability of the community but also necessitates exploration efforts to identify and gather specific plant species at risk of extinction. This study employs a descriptive research design to identify, gather, and compare the relationships between local rice genotypes in the Kuantan Singingi regency. The survey method utilizes a planned sample of rice seeds.The exploration process involves observing geographic coordinate locations, collecting local rice seeds, and examining grain and rice morphology based on Bioversity International, IRRI, and WARDA standards from 2007. The Kuantan River, with an altitude ranging from 28.95 to 61.56 meters above sea level, is prone to frequent flooding. A morphological study of grains reveals that, out of 26 local rice genotypes, one pair exhibits the highest similarity rate of 71% when compared to more diverse types. Notably, the white sironda rice from Pulau Madina village in Kuantan Hilir district and pandan wangi rice from Pauh Angit village in Pangean district are identified as the most identical genotypes. By identifying and preserving unique and highly-potential indigenous rice genotypes, this research significantly contributes to the enhancement of food stability, rural economy, and genetic resilience of rice plasma in Indonesia.

Analisis Faktor-faktor yang Memengaruhi Produktivitas Usaha Sawit Swadaya di Kecamatan Sekadau Hilir

Oil palm is one of the plantation crops used to meet human needs, so every year there is an increase in demand and an increase in land used for oil palm plantations. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that influence the productivity of independent oil palm in Sekadau Hilir District. The research method used in this study is a survey method. The variables used are Seedlings, Fertilizers, Pesticides, Labor, and Pruning. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that simultaneously, seedlings, fertilizers, pesticides, labor, and pruning affect the productivity of independent oil palm businesses. This is based on the simultaneous test which shows the calculated F value of 73.810 > F table (2.443) with a significance value of 0.000 < α (0.05). Partially, fertilizer and labor factors influence the productivity of independent oil palm businesses, with respective significance values of 0.00 < α (0.05) for fertilizer and 0.034 < α (0.05) for labor.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) TOWARD INDEPENDENT VILLAGES IN THE STRATEGIC BORDER AREA

State border areas are areas that have strategic positions. Because of this weakness becomes a strategic issue in the border area as the front porch of the country. The border area of Indonesia as the external face of the country is impressed if its management is more predicated on a safety approach (safety belt approach). Villages in Indonesia are still areas that are quite difficult to untangle; it is often narrated that he is lagging in development affairs so that social, economic, infrastructure and other developments seem to be neglected. The Village Sustainable Development Goals are a development concept that places more emphasis on environmentally friendly development and protects the culture and interests of the local community. This study aims to see how the goals of sustainable development (SDGs) are in the border villages of the Rokan Hilir district. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, observation, and interactive photography techniques to gain an in-depth understanding of the research problem. Informants were determined by purposive sampling technique. After the data has been collected, it is analyzed using an analytical approach using the N-Vivo 12 to explain, present and place the data so that conclusions can be drawn and drawn. To achieve sustainability, cooperation is needed in the 3 dimensions of the SDGs which balances development on the economic, social, and environmental dimensions. The results of the study show that the Village Sustainable Development Goals, especially Teluk Pulai Village in the border area of Rokan Hilir District, have not been realized based on indicators of fulfilling sustainability. Apart from that, it can also be seen from the SDGs achievement targets that were not achieved which ultimately had an impact on the Village SDGs Score of 35.96 and the Developing Village Index (IDM) with a Developing status. The SDGs goals in the border area have not been realized, including a lack of village development programs where the planned programs only focus on meeting the needs of the village community so the SDGs Village goals needed by the community are not planned.

INSTITUTIONAL GOVERNANCE IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF OIL PALM REPLANTING POLICY ON PEATLANDS

Oil palm is one of the leading plantation commodities and has a strategic role in the national economy. Indragiri Hilir Regency is one of the areas with the fastest-growing oil palm plantations in Riau Province. The area of oil palm plantations owned by People's Plantations (RA) in Indragiri Hilir Regency in 2022 will be 308,197 Ha with a total production of 912,875 tons. The research objective was to determine institutional governance in the implementation of Palm Oil Replanting in the peat hydrological area in the Indragiri Hilir district and the role of governance in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a relevant literature study approach, using a data analysis technique, namely literature analysis. The results of the study show that the management of the Palm Oil Replanting program in the Indragiri Hilir district has not been maximised because the implementation process is hampered by land status, which raises several challenges for stakeholders. The problem of palm oil governance is not only in the absence of regulations but in policy interventions in the field. Relevant institutional and policy arrangements lead to a balanced and successful implementation of the smallholder palm oil replanting program.

The Role of Religious Education on Islamic Legal Awareness in Relation to Marriage in Kuantan Hilir: Case Study of Unrecorded Marriage Practices

The experience of addressing unregistered marriage cases underscores the significant legal issues faced by such couples, particularly concerning children born out of wedlock without registration. Overall, this research underscores the criticality of marriage registration and Islamic legal education in safeguarding the legal rights of spouses and children.

PRRI Suppression Operation in Sungai Pagar (1958-1961)

The establishment of PRRI was a reaction to the leadership of President Soekarno and to create a more decentralized government in Indonesia. The first joint operation known as Operation Tegas led by Lieutenant Colonel (Inf) Kaharuddin Nasution in Pekanbaru.The research problem was the destruction process of PRRI in Sungai Pagar, Kampar Kiri Hilir in 1958-1961. This research aims to (1) know the background of the emergence of PRRI in Riau (2) to know the PRRI movement that occurred in Sungai Pagar 1958-1961 (3) to know the actions in an effort to suppress PRRI in Sungai Pagar by the Republican Army. This research is a library research study. The method used in this research is qualitative historical methods covering four stages including: heuristic, critism, interpretation, and historiography. As for the location of the research that is in Sungai Pagar Village, Kampar Kiri Hilir District, Riau Province. The result showed that the destruction of PRRI in Sungai Pagar was based on the involvement of US CIA who provided weapons and drop it at Pekanbaru and Sungai Pagar village which is approximately 30km from Pekanbaru became one of the areas used by PRRI troops in resistance to the Republican army.

How does the existence of PT Sapta Karya Damai's oil palm plantation affect the socio-economic conditions of the community in Natai Baru Village, Utara Mentaya Hilir District, Timur Kotawaringin Regency. The method used in the research is the Mix Method method is a research method that combines quantitative methods with qualitative methods to be used together in a research activity. Social Conditions, before the existence of oil palm plantations (PT. Sapta Karya Damai) the education level of respondents in Natai Baru Village was low. But along with the company, the level of children's education is classified as good because there are already supporting facilities and infrastructure. Community leadership and participation in organizational membership in Natai Baru Village is good, because there are several people who participate. It can also be seen from changes in Economic Conditions, the existence of oil palm plantations in Natai Baru Village not only opens up employment opportunities, but has a direct influence on the income of people who work in oil palm plantations. The fixed income obtained by the community is of course very helpful for people's lives, such as increasing community income and fulfilling their life needs. Analisis Produksi Budidaya Ikan Nila di Kecamatan Kusan Hilir Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu

This research was conducted to find out how business income production and what is the level of tilapia farming business scalein Kusan Hilir District, Tanah Bumbu Regency. By using the Cobb-Douglas model. The respondent of this study were 32 tilapia cultivators. Processing data with analysis revenue and production function analysis using Cobb-Douglas softwere Evies 12. The results of this study indicate tilapia aquaculture business income in Kusan Hilir District, Tanah Bumbu Regency experienced a profit of Rp 79.451.000 with and average profit of Rp 2.482.843. The results of the business scale of tilapia aquaculture production with and elasticity value of 0.802 which means that the value is less than 1 so that the level off business scale tilapia cultivators in Kusan Hilir District, Tanah Bumbu, are at the decreasing return to scale.

Distribution of density and zoning patterns of mangrove forest in eastern coastal Sumatera, Indonesia

Indonesia has the largest mangrove forest in the world, touching 3.2 million hectares or the equivalent of 22.6% of the total mangrove forests, and the results of the updated national mangrove map in 2021 cover an area of 3,364,080 hectares. One of the mangrove ecosystems located in Wonosari Village, Panai Hilir District, Labuhanbatu Regency, focuses on analyzing each zone’s density distribution and formation. This study aims to analyze the density distribution of mangrove vegetation in 2002 and 2022 and the formation of mangrove vegetation. The method used in this research is NDVI analysis and IVI analysis by conducting vegetation analysis. The results obtained are the density of vegetation in 2002 and 2022, the highest density class value, namely density with an NDVI value range of 0.3 – 0.4 with an area of 415.61 ha in 2002 and 2022 with an area of 495.53 ha. The vegetation density class in 2002 and 2022, which experienced the greatest increase, was the vegetation density class covering an area of 79,92 ha, and the very dense vegetation density decreased by 111.80 ha. The mangrove vegetation formation is divided into three zones: the open zone found Rhizophora mucronata, Bruguiera parviflora, and Avicennia alba.
