Composition and properties of oil fractions in tyumen crude from the Ust'-Barlyk oil field

1. Ust'-Balyk crude is characterized by potentially high content of high index oil fractions and in hydrocarbon composition, particularly in content of aromatic and sulfur compounds, it differs from other sour crudes of the Soviet Union. 2. High index oils (VI 95-93) from this crude treated with phenol contain a large amount of aromatic hydrocarbons (44–55%) and sulfur (above 1%).
