Processes of development of digitalization of economic systems 
 of the Russian Federation

The article reflects the issues of digitalization of the Russian economy at the present stage of its development. Itpresents an analysis of the Program Digital economy of the Russian Federation, which is based on the goals, solving problems, performing sales activities of digitalization, timing, and key directions of the state policy of Russia in the formation of conditions for the functioning and development of the digital economy. Thearticle shows that the circulation of information in digital form is the main factor of social production, improving the quality of life of the population, developing the competitiveness of state, ensuring national sovereignty and sustainable economic growth of state. The implementation of this Program requires high-quality interaction between the state, business and science, since its implementation requires the formation of at least a dozen leading national companies high-tech industrial enterprises that develop end-to-end technologies and manage digital platforms, which will carry out their activities on world markets and form a strategic ecosystem, research structures and leading industry enterprises that ensure the systematic development of the digital economy of Russia. The Program implementation indicators show that the effectiveness of innovation development in theindustrial sector of digitalization determines the creation of future markets, allowing industrial enterprises to create the image of the future of the regions, to carry out complex innovative activities. The relevance of theimplementation of the State Program Digital Economy of the Russian Federation, which includes the processes of innovative development of the region on the basis of NTI, is that digitalization and the creation of innovations, allows enterprises to gain leadership among similar manufacturers, producing products with asignificant degree of knowledge intensity, forming new product and technology markets. Digital technologies and innovative development of the region on the basis of NTI is the creation of a network integration grouping of the industrial complex on the basis of an innovative ecosystem. A significant result of this study is the formation of a model of the innovation ecosystem of the region based on NTI. The model shows that the development of NTI startups is carried out with the help of the regional infrastructure of innovation support, the main element of which is the innovative regional clusters representing the regional ecosystem of innovation support. The main importance in the ecosystem is played by the network connections of participants in innovation activities and their organizational and technological capabilities (points of industrial technological growth and development). Thepaper reflects that the implementation of the Program for creating a digital society based on STI to create new markets and technologies is based on the development of innovative activity of the economic systems of theregion. In the proposed model of the ecosystem of digitalization of the region, the author has developed analgorithm for evaluating the effectiveness of its activities.

Pursuing interpersonal value: An interdependence perspective.

The current research examined the interpersonal implications of pursuing goals to be valued by others as a relationship partner, termed interpersonal value goals. Across 3 experiments, a large cross-sectional study, 2 daily experience studies, and a 1-year longitudinal study with behavioral observation of conflict interactions, the pursuit of interpersonal value was associated with higher quality interactions and relationships, as suggested by multiple outcomes, including responsive and prosocial behavior, adoption of compassionate goals, confidence in being valued, more positive sentiments from interaction and relationship partners, and judgments of relationship quality. Relationship commitment predicted adoption of interpersonal value goals, which partially mediated effects of commitment on these outcomes. Effects of interpersonal value goals on responsive and prosocial behavior were especially strong when participants perceived that prosocial behavior was instrumental to obtaining interpersonal value, and when participants had relationship partners who responded favorably to prosocial behavior. New measures of pursuing interpersonal value appeared valid and reliable. These results contradict prior research on self-image goals, which suggests that trying to be seen by others in desirable ways is interpersonally destructive. The discrepancy appears to be attributable to the inclusion of items assessing perfectionism and dominance tactics in the self-image goals measure. Taken together, these findings suggest that pursuing interpersonal value usually promotes close relationships, but that some means to achieving interpersonal value, such as perfectionism and dominance, may often undermine relationship quality. Distant Russian as foreign teaching requires use of new teaching techniques and methods, allowing to compensate for the following disadvantages of online learning: the lack of "live" contact with students, high-quality interaction between the teacher and the students, difficulties in objective assessment of the students’ knowledge, weak interest of students in learning the material, their lack of motivation. The article discusses the possibilities of organizing online learning using the Moodle platform and Zoom application, which allows not only to get in touch with students, but also has some additional features (sharing the screen, message boards, demonstrating various documents with the ability to make notes to both the teacher and students, showing videos, listening to audio files, students working in mini-groups and pairs using session halls), optimizing the process of interaction between participants of the educational process. In addition, the author views interactive Internet programs, the use of which in the classroom and in the independent work of students contributes to the involvement of students in educational activities, form a positive motivation, interest in the process of obtaining knowledge, activate interaction between students and teachers, make the process of online communication more "alive".

Improving Primary Care Medication Processes by Using Shared Electronic Medication Plans in Switzerland: Lessons Learned From a Participatory Action Research Study.

BackgroundSeveral countries have launched health information technology (HIT) systems for shared electronic medication plans. These systems enable patients and health care professionals to use and manage a common list of current medications across sectors and settings. Shared electronic medication plans have great potential to improve medication management and patient safety, but their integration into complex medication-related processes has proven difficult, and there is little scientific evidence to guide their implementation.ObjectiveThe objective of this paper is to summarize lessons learned from primary care professionals involved in a pioneering pilot project in Switzerland for the systemwide implementation of shared electronic medication plans. We collected experiences, assessed the influences of the local context, and analyzed underlying mechanisms influencing the implementation.MethodsIn this formative action research study, we followed 5 clusters of health care professionals during 6 months. The clusters represented rural and urban primary care settings. A total of 18 health care professionals (primary care physicians, pharmacists, and nurses) used the pilot version of a shared electronic medication plan on a secure web platform, the precursor of Switzerland’s electronic patient record infrastructure. We undertook 3 group interviews with each of the 5 clusters, analyzed the content longitudinally and across clusters, and summarized it into lessons learned.ResultsParticipants considered medication plan management, digitalized or not, a core element of good clinical practice. Requirements for the successful implementation of a shared electronic medication plan were the integration into and simplification of clinical routines. Participants underlined the importance of an enabling setting with designated reference professionals and regular high-quality interactions with patients. Such a setting should foster trusting relationships and nurture a culture of safety and data privacy. For participants, the HIT was a necessary but insufficient building block toward better interprofessional communication, especially in transitions. Despite oral and written information, the availability of shared electronic medication plans did not generate spontaneous demand from patients or foster more engagement in their medication management. The variable settings illustrated the diversity of medication management and the need for local adaptations.ConclusionsThe results of our study present a unique and comprehensive description of the sociotechnical challenges of implementing shared electronic medication plans in primary care. The shared ownership among multiple stakeholders is a core challenge for implementers. No single stakeholder can build and maintain a safe, usable HIT system with up-to-date medication information. Buy-in from all involved health care professionals is necessary for consistent medication reconciliation along the entire care pathway. Implementers must balance the need to change clinical processes to achieve improvements with the need to integrate the shared electronic medication plan into existing routines to facilitate adoption. The lack of patient involvement warrants further study.

New trends and competition in the market of higher education services in the context of digitalization

The aim of the study was to analyze new trends, competition and structural changes in higher education in the context of digitalization. The main directions of higher education development in the XXI century are identified. It is shown that by 2020, new trends in the market of higher education services have appeared and fully manifested themselves, due to three key factors: 1) increased global competition; 2) the active introduction of digital technologies in higher education; 3) the impact of the global COVID pandemic on educational technologies. It is shown that the coronavirus pandemic was a powerful incentive for the transition to digital technologies in higher education. Thanks to digitalization, the structure of the market has changed, and the number of players has increased significantly, and the market consists of private and public institutions, ministries of education and government agencies, educational, consulting and test (rating) companies, etc. Moreover, the global competition of universities for quality is becoming more organized and technically equipped; it increasingly relies on impersonal methods of assessing quality using digital technologies. At the same time, the authors draw a number of conclusions about the negative consequences of distance education. It is shown that competitiveness and accessibility of educational services for different categories of citizens in the difficult conditions of global challenges and threats, the wave pandemic, is ensured through high-quality interaction of all participants in the process, the activity of scientists and practitioners around the world, and state support for teaching initiatives in all regions of the country.

Possibilities of transesophageal echocardiography for assessing the volemic status of patients during direct myocardial revascularization operations on the beating heart: a review

Introduction. Uncertainty about approaches to optimizing monitoring and tactics of hemodynamic correction today directly affects the effectiveness of interventions. This problem is especially pronounced in the case of patients with high cardiac risk, as well as in the case of rapidly developing intraoperative hemodynamic disorders, which are a specific feature of some cardiac surgical interventions, such as myocardial revascularization operations on a beating heart. In such a situation, the key factor for the success of the operation is the coordination of the work of the surgeon and the anesthesiologist. Objectives. To determine the main approaches to monitoring and assessing the volemic status of a patient during direct myocardial revascularization operations on a working heart and to evaluate the possibility of transesophageal echocardiography as such a monitoring tool. Materials and methods. The search was carried out in the electronic databases PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science Core Collection; the analysis was carried out based on works published in the period from 2001 to 2021. Results. The resulting material, which includes validated peer-reviewed studies, randomized clinical trials, major systematic reviews and meta-analyzes, provides an overview of global experience in optimizing fluid loading and its characteristics in cardiac surgery patients. According to the analyzed data, there is no consensus among specialists on the above issues, and many important factors remain outside the framework of everyday clinical practice. For high-quality interaction, a combination of highly informative monitoring and proven tactics of conducting perioperative infusion therapy in response to the dynamically changing condition of the patient is required. Conclusions. To develop unified criteria for hemodynamic correction in each individual situation, it is necessary to assess the volemic status in patients who undergo myocardial revascularization on a beating heart in real time. In this vein, transpesophageal echocardiography is presented by the authors as the tool of choice for optimizing monitoring during off-pump coronary artery bypass graft surgery.

Its negative role is manifested in the negative effect of service personnel on the industry areas that are part of the integrated safety and security system of the enterprise. The services created at the enterprise are the guides in the implementation of the departmental requirements, and to ensure the reliable functioning of the presented industry areas (subsystems) of safety, they need high-quality organizational interaction with each other. Moreover, this applies not only to the period of the emergency, but also to the everyday conditions of the functioning of an industrial enterprise. To solve this problem, a methodological justification is presented in the application of indicators of the effect of the human factor on complex safety and security. It allows to calculate the coefficient of influence of each of the services through their managerial effect on the assigned branch area of safety. Approaches are analyzed using the existing methods of organizing the integrated safety and security of the enterprises, the features of their application are considered. At the stage of conducting analytical studies, the application of the method of direct deterministic factor analysis is proposed, which makes it possible to detail the indicators of the influence of factors, break them into components. At the stage of synthesizing the obtained analytical results, it is proposed to use the goal tree method based on the inverse calculations, which allows us to obtain the coefficients of increment (decrease) of gaps (erroneous actions) of service personnel that arise in the dynamic process of fulfilling their job functions.

Understanding nonverbal communication cues of human personality traits in human-robot interaction

With the increasing presence of robots in our daily life, there is a strong need and demand for the strategies to acquire a high quality interaction between robots and users by enabling robots to understand users&#x02BC mood, intention, and other aspects. During human-human interaction, personality traits have an important influence on human behavior, decision, mood, and many others. Therefore, we propose an efficient computational framework to endow the robot with the capability of understanding the user&#x02BC s personality traits based on the user&#x02BC s nonverbal communication cues represented by three visual features including the head motion, gaze, and body motion energy, and three vocal features including voice pitch, voice energy, and mel-frequency cepstral coefficient &#x0028 MFCC &#x0029 . We used the Pepper robot in this study as a communication robot to interact with each participant by asking questions, and meanwhile, the robot extracts the nonverbal features from each participant&#x02BC s habitual behavior using its on-board sensors. On the other hand, each participant&#x02BC s personality traits are evaluated with a questionnaire. We then train the ridge regression and linear support vector machine &#x0028 SVM &#x0029 classifiers using the nonverbal features and personality trait labels from a questionnaire and evaluate the performance of the classifiers. We have verified the validity of the proposed models that showed promising binary classification performance on recognizing each of the Big Five personality traits of the participants based on individual differences in nonverbal communication cues.

Conversation analytic role-play method (CARM) for early childhood teacher education

ABSTRACT Here the authors explore everyday teaching strategies that work to implement early childhood curriculum frameworks, using published transcripts of video-recorded data of real-life teacher–child interactions in early childhood centres in Australia and New Zealand. The analysis uses a conversation analysis approach to reveal the sequences of action (talk and gesture) in the co-construction of pedagogical interactions. The authors illustrate how this approach builds on Elizabeth Stokoe’s Conversation Analytic Role-play Method (CARM), helping guide early childhood teachers in their interactions with infants, toddlers and young children. They argue that emphasis on real rather than recalled events and close attention to the sequential organisation of talk are central to understanding teaching and learning in early childhood education. The importance of promoting skills and knowledge in the mechanisms of high-quality interactions – that can respond to different contexts, children and concepts for learning – is emphasised, rather than a prescriptive ‘best practice’ template.

Initial examination of social compensation and honing frameworks for sexual minority social life and well-being

The present study used an ecologically-valid approach to address the lack of understanding of similarities and differences in social network size and social interaction quality, and links to affect, among same- and different-gender couples. People in couples who self-identified as a woman with a woman ( n = 48), man with a man ( n = 40), woman with a man ( n = 33), and man with a woman ( n = 33) completed a single measure of social network size, and momentary assessments of social interaction quality and affect throughout their days over two weekends. Women reported lower interaction quality, less positive, and more negative affect (actor effects); similar results were also found for those who were partnered with a woman (partner effects). However, results showed an interaction of actor and partner gender, such that people in different-gender couples experienced lower interaction quality, less positive, and more negative affect than same-gender couples. Overall, results provide preliminary evidence of a honing framework, where people in same-gender couples hone their social networks down to high-quality interaction partners, more than people in different-gender couples, and experience similar links between social interactions and affect compared to people in different-gender couples.

Digital Health Coaching Programs Among Older Employees in Transition to Retirement: Systematic Literature Review.

BackgroundThe rapid increase of the aging population is pushing many national governments to reshape retirement legislation in order to extend older adults’ working life. Once retired, older adults can be invaluable resources for the community as family carers, as volunteers, or by returning to work. Healthy aging is one of the main conditions for being able to work longer and being active after retirement. The latter, indeed, represents a very sensitive life transition, which can entail psychological and social difficulties. Interventions for promoting older workers’ health and well-being and supporting the transition to retirement are on the top of the policy agenda of most European countries. Recently, computer-based and digital health interventions have been seen as promising means to reach this purpose.ObjectiveThis systematic literature review aimed to explore studies on digital health coaching programs for older workers that followed a user-centered design approach and evaluated their effectiveness in providing older adults with guidance for adopting a healthy lifestyle and being active in the community.MethodsThe search identified 1931 papers, and 2 relevant articles were selected by applying specific eligibility criteria.ResultsTo our knowledge, only few digital health coaching programs have targeted the population of older workers to date; there is an insufficient number of studies on the efficacy of such programs. The results show the difficulties of assessing the efficacy of digital coaching itself and with respect to older employees. The 2 studies suggest that digital health programs for workplaces can improve various aspects of older employees’ well-being; however, they considered health mainly from a physical perspective and neglected contextual, social, psychological, and cultural factors that can influence older workers’ health and general well-being. Future digital health coaching programs should adopt the healthy aging paradigm as a multidimensional lens for interpreting the impact of eHealth technology on aging and retirement. The literature around this issue remains at an embryonic state, and this gap needs to be filled by further investigations that apply a user-centered approach for designing the technology, test innovative research methodologies, and adopt new technical solutions for high-quality interaction design.ConclusionsFurther digital health coaching programs aimed at supporting healthy and active living for older workers and retirees are necessary. The user-centered design approach is recommended in order to fully address the users’ health needs and the technological requirements throughout development. Moreover, the healthy aging perspective allows inclusion of physical, social, and psychological factors influencing the transition from work to retirement, as well as the experiences and interactions of individuals with the technology.

Assessing the effects of intergroup contact on immigration attitudes

ABSTRACT A significant number of native-born citizens hold anti-immigrant attitudes. Social science scholars often point to intergroup contact between native-born citizens and foreign-born residents as the solution to group threat fears regarding immigrants. Through social interaction, prejudice and stereotypes are expected to be replaced by empathy and positive attitudes. Studies indicate that immigrant friendship, greater frequency of contact in more social domains, and higher quality interactions, lead to pro-immigrant attitudes, while intergroup contact under poor social conditions may have null or negative effects. Methodological changes and an analytical focus on contact structure and interactional process will offer a better test of intergroup contact theory as it pertains to attitudes toward immigrants.

Enhancing Confidence and Coping with Stigma in an Ambiguous Interaction with Primary Care: A Qualitative Study of People with COPD

Meaningful and high-quality interactions between people with COPD and healthcare professionals are essential to accomplish effective and efficient self-management.This study’s aim was to explore how people with COPD experience COPD-related interactions with healthcare professionals in primary care, and how these interactions influence their self-management and how they cope with their disease.Interviews were performed with eight women and five men with COPD, and grounded theory guided data collection and analysis.The analysis resulted in a theoretical model and the core category (Re)acting in an ambiguous interaction, representing a dynamic process in which healthcare priorities, healthcare professionals’ attitudes and participants’ personal emotions were important for the participants’ experiences of interactions, and how they managed and coped with their disease.Mutually respectful and regular relationships with healthcare professionals, along with a personal positive view of life, empowered and facilitated participants to accept and manage their disease. In contrast, experiences of being deprioritized and not taken seriously, along with experiences of fear and stigma, disempowered and inhibited participants in making healthcare contacts or forced them to compensate for experienced insufficiencies in primary care.In order to facilitate meaningful and high-quality interactions and enhance patient-provider partnerships in primary care, there is a need to improve the status of COPD, as well as to increase competence in COPD management among healthcare professionals and support the empowerment of people with COPD. Findings from this study could guide the implementation of improved self-management support in primary care for COPD and other chronic conditions.

Complex Revision Arthroplasty Planning with Telemedicine Expert Advice

Relevance. An increase in the number of revisions is an inevitable consequence of the growth of primary arthroplasty number. The imperfection of implants and the lag in patient’s seeking medical help significantly increase the number of complex revisions. Extensive bone defects after removal of an unstable implant urge us to think about the better methods of these defects compensation and implants fixation. The purpose — was to assess the modern telemedicine opportunities for improving the preoperative planning of the complex revision arthroplasties. Materials and Methods. The study comprised 13 patients undergone revisions for implant instability in a regional orthopedic department using telemedicine differed advices including 11 hip and 2 knee arthroplasties. All patients had extensive bone defects. Results. In 12 cases, the surgeries were performed according to the recommendations from the expers of the Vreden National Medical Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics, St. Petersburg, Russian Federation. In one case, an individual system had been proposed as the main choice, but the preoperative plan was changed in favor of standard revision components. The short-term results of the surgeries were assessed as satisfactory. Conclusion. The use of modern information technologies for preoperative planning makes it possible to more accurately determine the indications for choosing implants. In particularly difficult cases, it becomes necessary to use individual implants. The right final choice depends on high-quality preoperative planning and effective interaction among medical hospitals of various levels.

Development of an effective business intercommunicating system based on the electronic document management introduction for a construction company

In context of industry 4.0, where the information component and intercommunicating technologies prevail over the traditional interaction forms, and the business intercommunicating sphere goes into virtual space, enterprises face the need to develop a new business intercommunicating system in order to improve the business intercommunicating system and improve management efficiency in general. The business intercommunicating basic unit is a document. The documents’ movement in all cases reflects the management apparatus organizational structure and the responsibilities distribution between its constituent parts. The basic business processes’ point automation during the documents’ exchange with external contractors becomes insufficient and in modern conditions requires a total transition to the document management in electronic form. The article proposes the measures aimed at modernizing the information flow schemes and the document management system for integrating electronic intercommunicating processes into the construction company management model. The purpose of this article is to propose a method for improving the business intercommunicating system of a construction enterprise based on its business model reengineering and the digital technologies’ introduction. Actually, the method will include the structural analysis stages, logical design, construction and verification of the “as-is” model, the requirements’ formulation for a digital business intercommunicating system, the business processes’ reengineering, the “to-be” models’ formation. As a result of the system project’s implementation, it was possible to streamline all accounting and settlement processes; reduce losses associated with the documents’ movement, effectively organize the employees’ work and ensure their high-quality interaction; speed up the process of exchanging information with external contractors; provide the opportunity to receive various analytical data for management decisions.

The ANEMONE: Theoretical Foundations for UX Evaluation of Action and Intention Recognition in Human-Robot Interaction

The coexistence of robots and humans in shared physical and social spaces is expected to increase. A key enabler of high-quality interaction is a mutual understanding of each other’s actions and intentions. In this paper, we motivate and present a systematic user experience (UX) evaluation framework of action and intention recognition between humans and robots from a UX perspective, because there is an identified lack of this kind of evaluation methodology. The evaluation framework is packaged into a methodological approach called ANEMONE (action and intention recognition in human robot interaction). ANEMONE has its foundation in cultural-historical activity theory (AT) as the theoretical lens, the seven stages of action model, and user experience (UX) evaluation methodology, which together are useful in motivating and framing the work presented in this paper. The proposed methodological approach of ANEMONE provides guidance on how to measure, assess, and evaluate the mutual recognition of actions and intentions between humans and robots for investigators of UX evaluation. The paper ends with a discussion, addresses future work, and some concluding remarks.
