Research hotspots and trend analysis of embryonic stem cell therapy based on bibliometric analysis

Objectives: This article was designed to deeply analyze the research status and frontier trend of embryonic stem cells (ESCs) therapy, and accurately understand the development stage and characteristics of ESCs therapy research. Methods: By entering keywords, downloading literature, applying bibliometric analysis software, and website, research trends in ESCs therapy from 2015 to 2024 were analyzed, covering annual trends, countries or regions, institutions, and authors. Results: The analysis reveals a general decline in publication volume since 2018, with stabilization observed in recent years, indicating ongoing scholarly interest in ESC research. The United States and China emerged as leading contributors, with China showing rapid growth since 2015. American institutions, particularly Harvard University, lead in publication volume, while the University of Cambridge stands out for its high citation impact. Prominent authors like Meissner Alexander play a central role in advancing the field through extensive collaboration. Key journals, including Cell Stem Cell and Nature, dominate ESC research publications. Conclusions: In the field of ESCs therapy, other countries need to make efforts to keep up with the United States, and try to innovate and expand the contents of stem cell studies. In summary, this article conducts a systematic review and trend outlook of stem cell-related studies, exploring current research trends and hotspots and emphasizing the importance of international collaboration and quality-driven research in ESCs.

Eric Cohen and his theoretical research in the sociology of tourism

Israeli sociologist Eric Cohen is one of the founders of the sociology of tourism. This scientist proposed both his own developments in the field of tourism, including the typology of tourists, the classification of ways to obtain tourist experience, and analyzed the general path of development of this branch of knowledge, resorting to understanding the theoretical and empirical works of other researchers, and also outlined trends and main topics of modern research in this field of knowledge. The theoretical research of this scientist has become an important reference point for researchers studying global processes taking place in the world, as well as complex interactions between tourists and locals. This article is devoted to the analysis of Eric Cohen's theoretical contribution to the sociology of tourism, his conceptual approach and the significance of his works for modern research. The author explores the theoretical research of Eric Cohen using general scientific methods of cognition, as well as genetic, comparative historical and other methods that reveal the specifics of the scientist's approach. The scientific novelty of this topic lies in the systematization of the main ideas of Eric Cohen and the study of his contribution to the study of the phenomenon of tourism and the development of the sociology of tourism as an independent discipline. The works of the Israeli sociologist Eric Cohen, his conceptual apparatus and analytical tools testify to the high importance of his works for modern sociological theory. His works maintain high citation rates and are regularly consulted by modern researchers. These publications cover a wide range of topics: from typologies of tourists, concepts of tourist experience, research on authenticity to the analysis of the state of sociology of tourism as an independent science, identifying trends and the main topics dominating here, which makes him one of the most influential scientists in this field.

Bibliometric Study of Electrochemical Advanced Oxidation Processes (EAOPs) for Wastewater Treatment

Electrochemical advanced oxidation processes (EAOPs) are at the forefront of scientific research as green technologies aimed at effectively purifying polluted aquatic environments. These methods utilize electrochemical processes to generate reactive oxygen species (ROS), such as the hydroxyl radical (•OH), either on the anode surface or within the bulk solution, which can partially degrade or completely mineralize organic pollutants. The aim of the article is to provide a bibliometric analysis of research articles specifically focused on the application and development of EAOPs in wastewater treatment over the past five years. Utilizing the most extensive database for literature searches, Web of Science Core Collection (WoS), which encompasses 95% of global publications, a total of 649 research articles were retrieved by limiting the search results to words associated with EAOPs in titles, keywords, and abstracts. The bibliometric dataset was then processed using CiteSpace and VOSviewer software. The People’s Republic of China is emerging as the country with the highest production in the field, demonstrating a strong commitment to research and a leading role in international cooperation. This leadership is evident through China’s substantial contributions to the body of literature and its extensive network of collaborations with researchers worldwide. Meanwhile, Australia, despite producing fewer publications, has achieved a high citation rate, underscoring the significant impact and influence of its research within the scientific community. One of the most promising and extensively studied topics in this field is the electro-Fenton process, which has garnered considerable attention due to its potential applications and remarkable efficiency in various contexts. The bibliometric analysis conducted in this study allowed for a detailed visualization of the currently available literature data and corresponding developing trends. By mapping out the key areas of focus, prominent researchers, influential journals, and collaborative networks, this analysis provides valuable insights. These insights can facilitate future joint research endeavors, enhance collaboration, and promote the sharing of knowledge and best practices among researchers globally.

A bibliometric analysis of drug resistance in immunotherapy for breast cancer: trends, themes, and research focus.

While breast cancer treatments have advanced significantly nowadays, yet metastatic, especially triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), remains challenging with low survival. Cancer immunotherapy, a promising approach for HER2-positive and TNBC, still faces resistance hurdles. Recently, numerous studies have set their sights on the resistance of immunotherapy for breast cancer. Our study provides a thorough comprehension of the current research landscape, hotspots, and emerging breakthroughs in this critical area through a meticulous bibliometric analysis. As of March 26, 2024, a total of 1341 articles on immunology resistance in breast cancer have been gathered from Web of Science Core Collection, including 765 articles and 576 reviews. Bibliometrix, CiteSpace and VOSviewer software were utilized to examine publications and citations per year, prolific countries, contributive institutions, high-level journals and scholars, as well as highly cited articles, references and keywords. The research of immunotherapy resistance in breast cancer has witnessed a remarkable surge over the past seven years. The United States and China have made significant contributions, with Harvard Medical School being the most prolific institution and actively engaging in collaborations. The most contributive author is Curigliano, G from the European Institute of Oncology in Italy, while Wucherpfennig, K. W. from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in the USA, had the highest citations. Journals highly productive primarily focus on clinical, immunology and oncology research. Common keywords include "resistance", "expression", "tumor microenvironment", "cancer", "T cell", "therapy", "chemotherapy" and "cell". Current research endeavors to unravel the mechanisms of immune resistance in breast cancer through theintegration of bioinformatics, basic experiments, and clinical trials. Efforts are underway to develop strategies that improve the effectiveness of immunotherapy, including the exploration of combination therapies and advancements in drug delivery systems. Additionally, there is a strong focus on identifying novel biomarkers that can predict patient response to immunology. This study will provide researchers with an up-to-date overview of the present knowledge in drug resistance of immunology for breast cancer, serving as a valuable resource for informed decision-making and further research on innovative approaches to address immunotherapy resistance.

A bibliometric analysis of quality and food safety management in the food development industry

Quality and food safety management (QFSM) presents significant concerns for developing countries worldwide. Researchers have not yet reached a consensus on the most complicated QFSM practices in the food industry. Our study aims to fill the research gap by visualising and analysing 537 articles on QFSM using Biblioshiny. Relevant publications from Dimensions, Scopus, and the Web of Science databases expose the current research status from 1982 to January 2024, without bias. We classified publications about Food Safety Management (FSM) and Food Quality Management (FQM) into four stages: the appearance stage (1982–1995), the stage towards increase (1996–2005), a rapid rise phase (2006–2014), and stable, rapid growth between 2015 and 2024. The review of QFSM recorded 5714 paper references and 1677 authors from 57 countries or regions. The most popular keywords are food quality, food industry, quality, and food safety management. China became the first in the group with 84 publications, while Belgium had the highest citations, with 738 total citations and 49.20 average article citations. The most productive institution is “Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates,” while Food Control is the most locally cited source. This study is the first to analyse QFSM resilience using biblioshiny. It is necessary to continue studying the strength of the food industry supply chain related to QFSM. The report identifies critical areas for improvement and future research to assist governments and businesses in developing adaptable food supply networks.

Global research on emerging trends of obstetrics during the COVID-19 pandemic: A bibliometric analysis.

Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) has caused continuous effects on the global public, especially for susceptible and vulnerable populations like pregnant women. COVID-19-related studies and publications have shown blowout development, making it challenging to identify development trends and hot areas by using traditional review methods for such massive data. Aimed to perform a bibliometric analysis to explore the status and hotspots of COVID-19 in obstetrics. An online search was conducted in the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) database from January 01, 2020 to November 31, 2022, using the following search expression: (((TS= ("COVID 19" OR "coronavirus 2019" OR "coronavirus disease 2019" OR "SARS-CoV-2" OR "2019-nCoV" OR "2019 novel coronavirus" OR "SARS coronavirus 2" OR "Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2" OR "SARS-COV2")) AND TS= ("obstetric*" OR "pregnancy*" OR "pregnant" OR "parturition*" OR "puerperium"))). VOSviewer version 1.6.18, CiteSpace version 6.1.R6, R version 4.2.0, and Rstudio were used for the bibliometric and visualization analyses. 4144 articles were included in further analysis, including authors, titles, number of citations, countries, and author affiliations. The United States has contributed the most significant publications with the leading position. "Sahin, Dilek" has the largest output, and "Khalil, Asma" was the most influential author with the highest citations. Keywords of "Cov," "Experience," and "Neonate" with the highest frequency, and "Systematic Review" might be the new research hotspots and frontiers. The top 3 concerned genes included ACE2, CRP, and IL6. The new research hotspot is gradually shifting from the COVID-19 mechanism and its related clinical research to reviewing treatment options for pregnant women. This research uniquely delves into specific genes related to COVID-19's effects on obstetrics, a focus that has not been previously explored in other reviews. Our research enables clinicians and researchers to summarize the overall point of view of the existing literature and obtain more accurate conclusions.

The distribution of coral reef fish biodiversity on Bontosua Island, Spermonde Archipelago, South Sulawesi Province

Background: Bontosua Island, located in the Spermonde Archipelago, is one of the strategic and historical islands in the region. The island plays a vital role in ecosystem conservation efforts by the local community, who are committed to preserving their natural environment. With dynamic ecosystem conditions, it is essential to understand the seabed cover and biodiversity on the island to support more effective conservation efforts. Methods: This study was conducted from March to September 2022 to mark the seabed cover of Bontosua Island and understand the relationships between coral reef fish species and the ecosystem. The method used was a stationary visual census, followed by descriptive analysis and one-way ANOVA to assess the biodiversity and diversity of coral reefs. Findings: The results showed a total of 1,306 coral reef fish from 9 families with 63 species identified, including the families Chaetodontidae, Serranidae, Lutjanidae, Haemulidae, Lethrinidae, Scaridae, Acanthuridae, and Siganidae. The families with the highest citations were Scaridae, Acanthuridae, and Siganidae. The highest coral reef fish were found in the north, west, and southwest of the island, where live coral areas are more dominant. Conclusion: This study shows that Bontosua Island has significant coral reef diversity, and certain areas, such as the north and southwest sides, have higher reported fish. These findings indicate the importance of these areas in conservation efforts. Novelty/Originality: This study provides a comprehensive picture of the seabed cover and coral reef fish diversity in Bontosua Island, which has yet to be widely discussed in previous studies. These findings provide a scientific basis for more targeted conservation strategies and help improve understanding of the dynamics of coral reef ecosystems in the Spermonde Islands.. Novelty/Originality of this article: This study proposes developing a community-based coral reef monitoring system that integrates local knowledge with digital mapping technology, aiming to increase the effectiveness of conservation and management efforts of marine resources on small islands.

Progress and trends of research on mineral elements for depression

ObjectiveTo explore the research progress and trends on mineral elements and depression. MethodsAfter querying the MeSH database and referring to the search rules, the search terms were selected and optimized to obtain the target literature collection. We analyzed the general characteristics of the literature, conducted network clustering and co-occurrence analysis, and carried out a narrative review of crucial literature. ResultsBipolar disorder was a dominant topic in the retrieved literature, which saw a significant increase in 2010 and 2019–2020. Most studies focused on mineral elements, including lithium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and copper. The majority of journals and disciplines were in the fields of psychiatry, neuropsychology, neuropharmacology, nutrition, medical informatics, chemistry, and public health. The United States had the highest proportion in terms of paper sources, most-cited articles, high-frequency citations, frontier citations, and high centrality citation. Regarding the influence of academic institutions, the top five were King's College London, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Barcelona, INSERM, and Heidelberg University. Frontier keywords included bipolar disorder, drinking water, (neuro)inflammation, gut microbiota, and systematic analysis. Research on lithium response, magnesium supplementation, and treatment-resistant unipolar depression increased significantly after 2013. ConclusionGlobal adverse events may have indirectly driven the progress in related research. Although the literature from the United States represents an absolute majority, its influence on academic institutions is relatively weaker. Multiple pieces of evidence support the efficacy of lithium in treating bipolar disorder (BD). A series of key discoveries have led to a paradigm shift in research, leading to increasingly detailed studies on the role of magnesium, calcium, zinc, and copper in the treatment of depression. Most studies on mineral elements remain diverse and inconclusive. The potential toxicity and side effects of some elements warrant careful attention.

CHARTING THE LANDSCAPE OF CORPORATE PHILANTHROPY: A BIBLIOMETRIC EXPLORATION OF TRENDS AND THEMES

Purpose: This study identifies the main area and current dynamics of Corporate Philanthropy (CP) and offers recommendations for future research directions. Design/methodology/approach: Using bibliometrics, we examined a sample of 558 studies from Scopus, an online abstract and citation repository, to examine the research activities relating to CP between 1955 and 2022. Articles and authors with high citation impact scores are identified based on the publication’s position and significance within the field. We then explore contemporary issues, identify possible limitations towards the development of the literature, and propose new lines of inquiry for future studies. Findings: In addition to providing an in-depth analysis, this study discusses recent discoveries and shifts in mindsets pertaining to Corporate Philanthropy, taking into account previously documented findings which regarded CP disadvantageous to many companies mainly due to money outflow. The ‘agency theory’ considers the relationship between a principal and its hired representative. Past reports cited managers leveraging on CP as a way to justify unnecessary expenses. Meanwhile, the latest studies discovered that CP brings in various advantages to the companies such as additional profit avenues, enhanced visibility, and stronger market presence, benefiting its stakeholders and securing the sustainability of those companies. Future research on CP can be expanded through our suggested research directions. Research limitations/implications: This study focuses on using the Scopus database as the primary source of the journals. Hence, our findings may differ from the studies conducted using other databases. Originality/value: This is among the pioneer studies using Harzing and VOSviewer software to analyse the development of CP studies. Several future research agendas are generated due to the review, which focuses on annual publication trends, the most prolific authors, the most cited papers, the most prolific countries, the most prolific institutions and the most abundant sources. Why do some academic articles receive more citations from policy communities?

AbstractWe (1) present the landscape of the citations of Public Administration and Policy (PAP) scholarly articles in policy documents and (2) examine influencing factors along three dimensions: collaborative teams, cross‐disciplinary interactions, and disruptive paradigms. Using data from the 30 most‐cited PAP peer‐reviewed journals and 38,062 documents from 1107 policy institutions, we find that 10.1% of all PAP scholarship receives high citations from both academics and policy communities. Collaborative teams, cross‐disciplinary interactions, and disruptive paradigms can all increase the citations within policy communities, yet the relationships are not linear. Nonacademic authors can consistently attract more policy citations, whether publishing alone or collaborating with academics. An article should ideally cite no more than 13 disciplinary subjects. No significant trade‐off between scholarly and policy impact as scholarly citations and the academic reputation of authors often translate into policy citations. These findings offer novel and concrete insights into optimizing academic research for policy impact.

Mapping the Nordic Research Landscape for the period 2016-2020: a comprehensive study of research outcomes, collaborations, and impact.

This article aims to study the research outcomes of five Nordic countries in terms of research publications, spend on R&D, outcomes and collaborations as these are important parameters to understand research thrust of the countries/regions, in addition to their innovation capability. The research outcomes of the Nordic countries in terms of the total number of publications, coauthored publications, publications with corporate collaborators, citations, the Field Weighted Citation Index (FWCI) and publications in different subject areas were retrieved using Scopus and its associate SciVal. The research outcomes were extracted for five years from 2016-2020. In addition, total population, researcher population and research spend of these countries have been obtained from World Bank data available for the year 2021. The analysis showed that Sweden has the highest population and the highest number of researchers in this region. All countries have the highest number of coauthored publications with the United States, followed by the United Kingdom, except Iceland, which has the second highest number of coauthored publications with Sweden. Denmark, followed by Iceland, stands prominent with reference to having publications with corporate collaborations. Denmark and Sweden have a high percentage of articles in first quartile journals, which is above the average for Nordic countries. Iceland stands at the top with the highest citations, which is depicted by high FWCI. Across subject areas, the Nordic countries have maximum publications in life sciences. Other prominent subject areas include technology and natural sciences. On analysing the research landscape of Nordic countries, maximum research output is in the field of life sciences and medicine, and most of the coauthored publications of these countries are with the United States. Denmark, with its exemplary research output, excels with maximum papers in top quartile journals and with maximum corporate collaborations and the highest FWCI.

International collaboration leading to high citations: Global impact or home country effect?

Scientific research has become more collaborative, which brings a number of advantages including higher citation rates. This study examines the factors contributing to higher citations by distinguishing between the quality of work and the home country effect. Using international co-authorship as a key variable, we analyze citation patterns across a diverse range of fields over a 10-year period, and differentiate between citations accrued in the authors’ countries and citations received in other countries. The results demonstrate the presence of both global impact and a home country effect. Specifically, publications with international co-authorship receive significantly more citations from abroad, which strongly implies that international collaboration fosters high quality research and positively impacts citation rates, especially when considering the relatively smaller foreign community size once the authors’ home countries are excluded. On the other hand, it is also observed that domestic citations from authors’ countries increase faster than foreign citations and the effect is more pronounced over a longer period of time, which suggests that home country effect plays an important role in accumulating citations through the increased visibility in the domestic research community. The study confirms the pivotal role of international collaboration in research impact and highlights the significance of network building.

A Bibliometric Analysis of the 100 Most-Cited Articles on Otoplasty.

A bibliometric analysis was conducted in April 2024, to review the current trends in otoplasty. It involved literature search on Scopus database for original articles using the query term "otoplasty" and "pinnaplasty", without restricting publication dates or selecting journals in the database. The top 100 articles with the highest citations were reviewed. Bibliometric analysis was performed using Scimago journal impact factor. The screening was done using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and MetaAnalyses (PRISMA) guidelines to extract the top 100 most cited articles in otoplasty. We excluded articles not focused on otoplasty, those involving other surgical procedures, and non-English articles. Scopus and manual screening were used together to perform citation analysis of selected articles. Mean values were calculated for the number of citations and citations per year. Of the 951 studies identified, 100 (10.5%) were analyzed in detail. The studies were published between 1941-2024, with a mean of 36 ± 23.7 citations per paper. The journal "Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery" reported the highest number (23[23%]) of articles, followed by "Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery" with 13% (n=13) articles. The highest number of articles originated from the United States (38%, n=38), followed by United Kingdom (15%, n=15). Our bibliometric analysis provides a comprehensive overview of the landscape of otoplasty research, highlighting key publications, authors, and journals. This study contributes to the understanding of the evolution and impact of otoplasty literature, laying the groundwork for further research and innovation in this field.

Research Hotspots and Trends of Interventions for Sarcopenic Obesity: A Bibliometric Analysis.

Sarcopenic obesity, characterized by both obesity and sarcopenia, significantly impacts health and independence of affected individuals. There is an urgent need to explore effective strategies for addressing or preventing sarcopenic obesity. An initial critical step is to promptly assess the impact of academic research in this field, considering factors such as geographical regions, authors, journals, and institutions. It is also essential to analyze current trends and identify potential areas that may inspire future researchers to conduct further studies, ultimately improving public health outcomes for individuals with sarcopenic obesity. To achieve this, bibliometric research was conducted using the Web of Science Core Collection database to identify English language articles and reviews focusing on sarcopenic obesity interventions published between January 1, 2004, and June 15, 2024, followed by a literature review. A total of 929 English-language articles were collected, consisting of 645 research articles and 284 reviews. Research output in the field has shown significant growth since 2017, reaching a peak of 139 papers in 2022. The United States leads in publication output with 234 papers and a total of 13,971 citations, highlighting substantial international collaboration. Both the United States and Europe are recognized as key academic hubs for sarcopenic obesity intervention research, characterized by robust academic interactions. Moreover, there has been a notable increase in publication volume from China, South Korea, and Japan. Noteworthy authors in this field include Boirie Y from Université Clermont Auvergne in France, Prado CM from the University of Alberta in Canada, Cruz-Jentoft AJ from Hospital Universitario Ramon y Cajal in Spain, and Prado CM from the University of Alberta, known for their high citation count. The University of Alberta leads in the number of publications, while the University of Verona in Italy leads in citation frequency. Journals with higher publication volumes in sarcopenic obesity intervention include Nutrients, Clinical Nutrition, and Journal of Cachexia Sarcopenia and Muscle. Among the top 20 keywords, the most relevant interventions for sarcopenic obesity are exercise, nutrition, resistance training, physical activity, and muscle strength.The primary evidence currently available suggests that resistance training is the most effective method for enhancing muscle strength in sarcopenic obesity patients. Additionally, combining protein supplementation with resistance exercise has shown encouraging results in reducing fat mass in these individuals. To progress in this field, it is crucial to foster collaboration among countries, regions, and academic institutions, promoting multidisciplinary partnerships.

Global Highly Cited Publication Trends and Research Hotspots in Osteoporosis and Bone Metabolic Cells: A Bibliometric and Visualization Analysis from 2013 to 2023.

Bone metabolic diseases such as osteoporosis are caused by disruption of the metabolic balance between osteoblasts and osteoclasts. Thousands of papers have been published on osteoporosis and bone metabolizing cells. The purpose of this study is to draw the publication trend of highly cited literature in this field through bibliometrics and to explore the research hotspot analysis. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the impact of countries/regions, research institutions, authors, keywords, relevant journals, and references in the field of osteoporosis and bone metabolic cells research, with a specific focus on the theme of "Osteoporosis and bone metabolic cells". Furthermore, utilizing bibliometric methods, the study aims to offer valuable insights and references for future research endeavors, as well as clinical prevention and treatment strategies in this domain. The Web of Science [WOS] Core Collection database was examined in order to identify articles with high citation counts from 2013 to 31 October 2023. The citation counts, authors, year of publication, source, journal, geographical origin, subject, article type, and level of evidence were further analyzed using the R bibliometric package. The VOSviewer software was utilized to visualize word co-occurrence in a total of 251 articles. Our search strategy included 251 highly cited articles published between 2013 and 2023 in the field of osteoporosis and bone metabolic cells. The number of publications in this field remains consistently high, indicating ongoing research interest. Notably, the United States has made significant achievements and contributions in this area. Xie Hui, Cao Xu, and Goodman, Stewart are among the main contributors to these advancements. NATURE MEDICINE has the highest journal impact factor of 82.9, highlighting its prominence. The JOURNAL OF BONE AND MINERAL RESEARCH ranks first with 1,322 citations. Keyword research topics in this field include osteoclast differentiation, osteoblast differentiation, and mesenchymal stem cells. Through citation analysis, we found that 195 articles have been cited more than 100 times, demonstrating their significance and impact. This study analyzed the relationship between osteoporosis and bone metabolic cells using a bibliometric method. The results of these analyses can help researchers gain a more direct and scientific understanding of trends in the field. Additionally, it can provide guidance in identifying hot research directions and offer new ideas for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.

We analyzed citation scores and income level of country of publication, as well as factors associated with high citation metrics. Overall, 566 studies during 2005 to 2023 were included. Of those 292, 51.6% were from North America, and 182 32.2% from Europe. The leading tumor site studied was endometrial cancer (57.4%). The majority (87.6%) of studies were retrospective and 13 (2.3%) were randomized controlled trials. Most studies (94.2%) originated in high-income countries. Articles from middle-income countries had lower citations per year as compared to high-income countries (median 1.6 vs 2.5, p =.002) and were published in lower-impact factor journals (median 2.6 vs 4.3, p < .001) when compared with high-income countries. Cervical cancer studies had higher representation in middle-income countries than in high-income countries (48.5% vs 18.4%, p < .001). In a multivariable regression analysis, journal's impact factor [aOR 95% CI 1.26 (1.12–1.40)], cervical cancer topic [aOR 95% CI 3.0 (1.58–5.91)], and North American publications [aOR 95% CI 2.07 (1.08–3.97)] were independently associated with higher number of citations per year. ConclusionThe majority of robotic surgery research in gynecologic oncology is retrospective and from high-income countries. Middle-income countries are not as frequently cited and are predominantly in lower-impact factor journals.

BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION IN CHINA: BASED ON CNKI DATABASE (2014-2023)

Innovation and entrepreneurship education is the engine and driving force to promote social and economic development and advancement. China's innovation and entrepreneurship education has been researched and developed for more than 20 years. In order to grasp the current situation, hotspots, trends and future of innovation and entrepreneurship education research in China, 1330 sample literatures in CNKI database are used as the research object, and bibliometric methods are adopted to visualise, analyse and compare the big data of the literature in terms of the annual volume of published papers, research topics, disciplinary distributions, authors of the published papers, journals of published papers, institutions of the published papers, high citations, downloads, and categories of sources, etc. The results are as follows. The results found that: China's innovation and entrepreneurship education research disciplines are mainly divided into higher education and vocational education; journals such as Education and Career, Science and Technology in Chinese Colleges and Universities, and Secondary School Politics Teaching Reference are the main dissemination carriers; Peking University Core is the main journal source; Northeast Normal University, Xiamen University, and Wenzhou Medical University are the main publishing institutions; and the National Educational Science Programming Project, and the National Social Science Foundation are the main funding funds.

RESEARCH STATUS OF INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION ECOSYSTEM: DATA ANALYSIS FROM CNKI IN CHINA

Innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem is a hot and difficult issue in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship education research in recent years. The research on innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem in China has gone through 10 years of research and development. In order to grasp the current status, hotspots, trends and future of innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem research in China, 158 sample documents from the CNKI database were taken as the research object, and the bibliometric method was used to visualise and analyse the big data of the literature in terms of the amount of papers published annually, the research topics, the distribution of disciplines, the high-yield authors, the journals of the published papers, the institutions of the published papers, the high citations, the number of downloads, and the categories of the sources. Comparison. The results found that: China's innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem research is mainly divided into the disciplines of higher education and vocational education; journals such as Innovation and Entrepreneurship Theory, Research and Practice, Journal of Heilongjiang Institute of Education and Modernisation of Education are the main dissemination carriers; PKUC is the main source of journals for high-quality theses; Huangshan College, Wenzhou University, Northeast Normal University and Henan University of Technology are the main publication institutions ; Jiangsu Provincial Fund Project and Ministry of Education Fund Project are the main funding funds.

SELF-IMPROVEMENT FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES: A COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT ENDEAVOUR

People with disabilities are those who have limitations in communicating with other individuals. Society’s negative view of people with disabilities still provides limitations, especially in terms of employment, so empowerment in improving the quality of their lives needs to be carried out. This research aims to provide an overview of empowerment for people with disabilities. This research is a literature review and this method is research that uses secondary data. Based data was obtained using the help of the Publish or Perish search tool with the keyword “Empowerment of People with Disabilities” on Google Scholar with a maximum number of results of 100 and 8 articles with high citations and only 6 articles will be taken. The research result concluded that empowerment of people with disabilities requires good cooperation from various parties, including the government, organizations of people with disabilities, families, the surrounding environment, and even the people with disabilities themselves. Things that can be done to improve the quality of education for people with disabilities are providing education, mentoring, training, social assistance, business capital, and empowerment.
