The article researches the professional risks arising from the admission of contractors to perform high-risk work at the facilities of oil and gas industry enterprises. The involvement of contractors is an additional source of danger. Based on this, the client is obliged to identify all the factors of this source of danger and assess the level of professional risks. The scientific literature describes the methodology of the process of hazard identification and assessment of professional risk levels, but there are no studies related to considering the fact of involvement of contractors as a separate source of danger when assessing the level of professional risks.
