Evaluation on Core Competitiveness of Construction Enterprise Based on Multi-Level Gray Evaluation Method

The core competitive index system is proposed from construction enterprises characteristics. Due to fuzzy characteristics of core competitive index, a multi-level gray evaluation model is established for construction enterprises. And the effectiveness of this model is illustrated by an example.

Reliability Evaluation of Thermal Power Units Operation Based on Grey Fuzzy Theory

The thermal power units operational reliability is the fundamental guarantee of smooth operation of electricity system. According to the problem of thermal power units operational reliability evaluation, a comprehensive evaluation method is put forward based on grey fuzzy theory. Firstly, this paper establishes an evaluation index system by the analysis of factors affecting the reliability of thermal power units. And then a reliability evaluation model of thermal power units operation is built based on grey fuzzy comprehensive evaluation which combined with the grey cluster theory and the fuzzy algorithm. At last, the numerical example is shown to verify the feasibility of the grey fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.

Effect Evaluation of Experiment Teaching Based on Grey Evaluation Method

That the basic education reform conforms to the demand of teaching development as well as the professional capabilities, teaching level, and teaching effectiveness of experimental class teachers are supposed to be improved has become the important objectives of developing and optimizing the experimental teaching reform. This paper firstly analyzed the present situation of experiment teaching effect evaluation , and then analyzed the advantages of gray evaluation method in the experiment teaching effect evaluation compared with the traditional experiment teaching effect evaluation. Thus this paper built the optimized experiment teaching effect optimization system by further applying the gray evaluation method to analyze and evaluate the experiment teaching effect and then optimize teaching evaluation process, and finally improve work efficiency and evaluation accuracy .

Study on Grey Comprehensive Evaluation Based on the APH of the Site Selection of China Inland Nuclear Power Station

The site selection of China inland nuclear power station is key issue in its early preparations, and there are many issues which affect it. However, now the study of the site selection of inland nuclear power station limits to the discussion on its influence factors, and the lack of scientific evaluation method to evaluate the reasonableness of the site selection. This article firstly uses analytical hierarchy process to establish index system for inland nuclear station location; secondly establishes the evaluation model based on the grey comprehensive evaluation method; and finally applies the model to one location of a nuclear power station for instance, which confirm the feasibility of the model. The grey comprehensive evaluation of this article can provide scientific and effective evaluation method for the site selection of inland nuclear power station.

Study on Optimal Selection for Soft Soil Foundation Treatment Methods of Port Engineering

In this paper, advantages and disadvantages of single evaluation methods in solution selection of soft soil foundation treatment are analyzed and evaluated. Grey multilevel evaluation model combined AHP method and GRAP method is used in method selection of soft soil foundation treatment. Three kinds of soft soil foundation treatment schemes to be adopted in breakwater engineering construction in the west area of Yantai port are analyzed. And optimal selection of soft foundation treatment schemes is realized. It indicates that grey multilevel evaluation methods is reliable in results and possesses certain practical applicability and effectiveness, which provides a new way for optimal selection for soft soil foundation treatment methods of port engineering.

Grey Evaluation Model Based on Reformative Triangular Whitenization Weight Function and Its Application in Water Rights Allocation System

In the actual analysis of grey clustering evaluation, the length of a grey clustering interval was partially longer, which is determined by the grey clustering evaluation method based on the center-point triangular whitenization weight function. In response to problems like this, this paper proposes a new grey evaluation method on the basis of the reformative triangular whitenization weight function. Motivated by ideas of the end-point and the center-point triangular whitenization weight functions, we construct a new compact-center-point triangular whitenization weight function. Then, several aspects of the three kinds of triangular whitenization weight functions are compared, such as the crossing properties of grey cluster, clustering coefficients, rules for grey clustering interval, rules for choosing end-points and clustering performance. In the following, this paper proposes an example about the evaluation of a basin initial water rights allocation scheme, which analyzes the three methods to further verify that the new grey clustering evaluation method is feasible and effective. The results indicate that the compact-center-point triangular whitenization weight function precedes the end-point triangular whitenization weight function and the center-point triangular whitenization weight function soundly.

Evaluation of measurement uncertainty based on grey system theory for small samples from an unknown distribution

To evaluate measurement uncertainty for small sample size and measurement data from an unknown distribution, we propose a grey evaluation method of measurement uncertainty based on the grey relation coefficient. The uncertainty of measurement is analyzed using grey system theory, and the defects of the grey evaluation model of measurement uncertainty (GEMU) are studied. We then establish an improved grey evaluation model of measurement uncertainty (IGEMU). Simulations show that the precision of IGEMU is greater than that of GEMU, and that sample size has only a small effect on the precision of IGEVU. In particular, IGEMU is applied to evaluating measurement uncertainty for small sample size and measurement data from an unknown distribution. The measurement uncertainty of total profile deviation, which is measured by the CNC gear measuring center, can be evaluated by a combination of IGEMU and the Monte Carlo method.

Improved Grey Correlative Method for Risk Assessment on Mine Ventilation System

The improved grey correlative model was put forward in order to improve the objectivity of grey synthetic evaluation method. Balanced degree was ascertained by entropy theory. Weighted grey correlative degree was synthesized by grey correlative coefficient and entropy weights. Balanced adjacent degree, which was derived from weighted grey correlative degree and balanced degree, was taken as the evaluation criteria in the improved model. Therefore, grey synthetic evaluation result is more reasonable. The model has been applied in the risk assessment on mine ventilation systems in the 4th, 5th and 6th mines Pingdingshan Coal Group Corporation Ltd. The order preference of ventilation systems was attained. At the same time, the problems existing in mine ventilation systems were pointed out, and the corresponding countermeasures were put forward. The evaluation results indicate that the improved method be more reasonable and objective than general grey correlative method.

Evaluation of Traffic Safety of Curved Section with Gray Theory Based on the Driving Track

Curved section is one of the sections where happened extraordinarily serious traffic accidents in China. Until now, one kind of the traffic safety evaluation method based on the accident indexes, the other based on the non-accident indexes, just as the traffic conflict technique. But there are difficulties in collecting data when the evaluation of traffic safety on specific road sections is applied. So, one safety evaluation method for the curved sections is putting forward, in which the deviation value between the driving track and safe trajectory is used as the evaluation index, and the gray evaluation method is applied. The case study shows that, the method in this paper could be a new way for traffic safety evaluation.

Multidimensional Grey Evaluation Method for Aeronautic Electronic Components & Devices Selection

Aeronautic electronic components & devices selection is an important means to improve the aeronautic product reliability in its development stage. This paper proposes a multidimensional grey evaluation method to evaluate the electronic components & devices selection process by four indexes after the analysis of aeronautic production contractors and component manufactures. A memory selection example was presented to prove the feasibility of the proposed method. The proposed method can avoid the evaluation error effectively due to subjective factors and help to improve the product use reliability.

Smart City Development Level Assessment for Tianjin Using AHP and Gray Comprehensive Evaluation

The principle character of smart city is not only show up as information technology and the internet of things, but also more emphasis on the coordination development of intelligent integration system for information, innovation and society resources. Based on above studies, this paper proposes comprehensive evaluation model on smart city development level for Tianjin. The Multi-level index system is established with three dimensional goals, including development level of informatization, innovation capability and resource utilization. Afterwards, the weightiness of index is determined by the way of AHP, and the gray comprehensive evaluation method is used to analysis the smart city level of Tianjin and attempt to provide a few suggestions. The result shows that the proposed algorithm is effective.

Application of Gray Fuzzy Theory in the Post Evaluation of the Huaihe River Treatment Engineering

Chinese Huaihe River treatment engineering had made brilliant achievements which provided a reliable guarantee of social stability, development and prosperity of watershed economy. As a means of decision-making and management of construction project, the post evaluation of the project was an essential element of basic procedures of project management. Combined with the gray fuzzy evaluation method, project post evaluation on the Huaihe River engineering was conducted in this paper. The result showed that the gray fuzzy evaluation method could reduce the influence of subjective factors impacted on project post evaluation to some extent, and make the qualitative issues quantification possible.

Study of Cushioned Package Assessment via Multilevel Grey Evaluation Method

Six steps for cushioned package development based on the fragility theory are limited in the packaging cost and environmental protection. The author considered synthetically various cushioned packaging design relevant factors and built an assessment model of cushioned package based on multilevel grey evaluation method. By using this model, the author quantized the assessment process, and made it easier to be manipulated. The results of the comprehensive evaluation will be objective and scientific. The model can be widely used in cushioned package scheme optimization.

Identification and evaluation of active fault in the reservoir head of Three Gorges Project based on grey statistical model

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to apply grey statistical model to identify and classify live fault rupture.Design/methodology/approachBased on grey statistical mode, this paper uses eight faults' ripping speed observation data from 1997 to 2001, according to the grey statistics method for analysis, and recognizes active fault rupture situation. Using the conventional methods, namely taking all faults monitoring stations' average dislocation rate to analysis and make judgment, the average results are obtained.FindingsThe results show that the results are closer to reality because the grey statistical evaluation method has considered dislocation rate and other discrete factors.Practical implicationsThe method exposed in the paper can be used to monitor and recognize live fault rupture in earthquake prediction.Originality/valueAccording to the fault dislocation rate, this paper advances active fault rupture identification and classification method based on grey statistical model.

An Evaluation of the Arctic Route’s Navigation Environment

Along with the development of global warming, the commercial navigation of the Arctic route is getting even more likely, and the whole world is paying more and more attention to it. The analysis of the factors that affect the navigation environment together with the evaluation of the Arctic route’s navigation environment will have an important reference value for the further study of the Arctic route. Thus, based on the summarization of the status and the navigation accident statistics of the Arctic route, the paper establishes an evaluation index system and makes a preliminary evaluation of the Arctic route's navigation environment through a grey fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Since a lack of accurate data, the indexes' value is given by the expert grading method. Through analysis, we come to conclude that the hydrological factors, navigation aids and information factors are the main factors that affect the Arctic route's navigation environment. Besides, the sea ice concentration, icebreaker and navigation experience are individually the primary factors of the hydrological environment, navigation aids and information environment. As the North Pole goes warming, the hydrological environment will gradually transform, therefore, the navigation aids and information environment in the Arctic will gradually become the limiting factors of the Arctic route's navigation environment. The results of this paper can provide some beneficial reference for the utilization and supervision of the Arctic route.
