Pollution is a growing concern in relation to the environment, the factors that cause the increase in this index raise a concern for measures that reduce damage, thus sustainability aims for improvements for the future and seeks to adopt measures that help reduce pollutant rates. The construction sector is an area that enhances damage to the environment, green houses have emerged as a practice to reduce this damage through techniques that enable less aggression to the ecosystem. For this reason, this paper aims to present the measures adopted to reduce pollution in green building and to inform that it is possible to build sustainably. This project seeks to aggregate subjects on the topic addressed and thereby improve knowledge, was developed theoretically and sought quality when discussing the subject, was based on bibliographic research with scientific materials to describe the results, is presented in this work the main Characteristics for a home to be considered ecological and the results obtained is the presentation of the main elements employed, the materials used, the factors that reduce pollution and the techniques employed in ecological construction.
