STYLISTIC PECULIARITIES OF K.I. SATPAYEV'S RESEARCH ON LITERATURE, ART AND THE EPISTOLARY HERITAGE OF THE SCIENTIST

Encyclopedic knowledge in many fields of science, in Kazakh folklore, literature, history, culture amazed contemporaries the first president of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan K.I. Satpayev. The first printed work of the future academician is connected with the artistic poetic world – with the Kazakh song and music culture. No less interesting are the letters, the addressees of which lived in Moscow and Leningrad, Almaty and Vinnytsia, Dushanbe and Zyryanovsk. The traditions of the epistolary genre have their origins in the cultural layers of previous eras and millennia. Realistic tendencies in the creation of a letter as a document of the era are based on the natural talent of the author, a high level of education and his refined culture. In terms of genre, letters are divided into political, journalistic, private. The creative manner of K.I. Satpayev, whose name relates to the history of the formation and development of industry in Kazakhstan, included scientific and precise thinking, logic and evidence, chronology. The letters of the academician and first President of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan are unique in style, combining clarity and personal involvement in the events of his epoch. Self-knowledge and self-analysis are the dominant features of the epistolary texts of an outstanding personality of national significance. The scientific novelty and relevance of this article is determined by the fact that a rich epistolary heritage is introduced into scientific circulation, capturing important milestones in life, essential aspects of the biography and scientific fate of K.I. Satpayev. The wise mentor of youth treated the upbringing of the scientific generation in a fatherly manner. The famous scientist is modest and strict with himself, but caring towards the participants of the Great Patriotic War, cultural figures, teachers, young scientists, schoolchildren, and children of fellow scientists. Thanks to the letters, the portrait of the world-famous geologist, the organizer of science, who was extremely demanding of himself, becomes more understandable, sincere and heartfelt.

Teacher characteristics as predictors of self-regulated learning encouragement

The aim of the research was to examine the predictors of teachers’ encouragement of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL), specifically focusing on the independent contribution of various teacher characteristics. These characteristics include: a) sociodemographic factors (gender, age), b) teacher beliefs, teaching approaches, and teaching efficacy, c) personality traits, d) type of school where the teacher works, school subject’s field of study and subject status, and e) the quality of teacher interactions in explaining teachers’ perceptions of SRL encouragement. The research was conducted on a sample of 251 teachers from primary and secondary schools using an online questionnaire. The results indicated that teacher characteristics (gender, age, teacher beliefs, teaching approaches, teaching efficacy, personality traits, subject’s field and subject status, and teacher behaviours) were related to SRL encouragement. This set of variables explained a moderate to relatively high proportion of the criterion variance (28% - 52%), with the most significant contributors being teacher beliefs, gender and age, personality traits, subject’s field of study and subject status, and teacher interactions, respectively. A mastery-oriented approach to teaching emerged as the most significant predictor of encouraging SRL. The encouragement of self-regulated learning is influenced by several factors, including the perception of teaching and learning as a process of empowerment, a mastery-oriented approach, higher teacher self-efficacy, female gender, older age, agreeableness, conscientiousness, intellect, subject’s positioning within the humanistic and social fields, optional subjects, and greater teacher helpfulness and friendliness. This research holds significant theoretical and practical implications for teacher encouragement of self-regulated learning.

Constructive perspectives: an influence of generative ai in teaching and learning

In 21st century education, the presence of AI is inevitable. Generative AI (GenAI) has emerged as one of the fastest technology take-ups in human history. Generative AI is transforming education by offering both exciting opportunities and presenting significant challenges. Technology works best as a tool used by great teachers, and it is important to take a joined-up pedagogical approach. Generative AI is increasingly being integrated into education to enhance teaching and learning experiences. AI in education has become one of the most significant innovations that has the potential of improving the quality of education, adapting teaching and learning to individual needs, and optimizing the management of educational institutions.Gen AI has the potential to impact the future of teaching and learning in various ways, such as changing how skill and knowledge assessments are designed and scored, experiences and teachers. As the technology evolves, its role in the classroom will likely continue to expand, offering even more opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Analisis Framing Model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki Terhadap Pemberitaan Peringatan Hari Guru Nasional 2024 pada Media Online Sokoguru.Id dan Mediaindonesia.Com

Mass media serves as a vital communication medium that delivers crucial information to the public. In the digital era, technological advancements have facilitated easier access to news for audiences. This study aims to analyze the framing of the 2024 National Teacher’s Day coverage on the online media platforms sokoguru.id and mediaindonesia.com. Using a qualitative approach guided by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki’s framing analysis model, this research uncovers how each outlet portrays the theme “Great Teachers, Strong Indonesia.” The findings reveal differing approaches: sokoguru.id focuses on tangible issues like teacher welfare and technological training, while mediaindonesia.com emphasizes symbolic tributes to teachers through celebratory narratives. Both platforms employed the inverted pyramid style in organizing their news and adhered to the 5W+1H elements. However, differences emerged in their thematic and rhetorical structures. This study highlights how media framing influences public perception of educational issues and underscores the importance of teacher welfare in building a high-quality education system.

Psychological safety in students’ clinical learning environment – thematic analysis of open-ended questions and DREEM questionnaire assessment

Introduction: The learning environment impacts students’ motivation, success and fulfilment, and central to this is the psychological safety of students. Psychologically safe environments lead to collaboration, positive learning experiences and effective practitioners. This study assessed the perception of clinical learning environments of medical and nursing students (NSs) using the Dundee Ready Education Measure (DREEM) and with two open-ended questions (OEQs): their memorable learning experience and the effect of being in medical school on their lives. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study using validated DREEM questionnaires and two OEQs: ‘tell us about a memorable learning experience in medical/nursing school’ (MLE) and ‘what impact has your time in medical/nursing school had on your life’ (IoL). Data were collected from fourth- to sixth-year clinical medical, and first- to third-year NSs. Questionnaire data were analysed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences. For the OEQs, an inductive approach was used for coding and thematic analysis. Coding was both semantic and interpretive. Results: One hundred and ninety-three students completed the validated questionnaires. Fifty-seven (29%) and 59 (30%) answered the OEQs MLE and Impact IoL, respectively. Thirty-four per cent of medical and 7% of NSs had a negative response to one of the two OEQs. Six themes emerged from the memorable learning experience question, three of which centred around student-centred teachings and two around emotional responses and psychological safety. ‘I reviewed my materials over and over, ate well, put on my best clothes and went to present. It was beautiful’, a third-year medical student. ‘The tutor was a great teacher who, when he teaches, students learn’, an NS. There were four themes on the impact on life questions, and these centred around personal development, social awareness, aspirations and psychological safety. ‘It has made me see that broken people break others’, a third-year medical student. The mean total DREEM score was 111 ± 10.2, interpreted as more positive than negative. In only two of the five DREEM domains, perception of the atmosphere and social self-perception were more negative than positive findings. Whilst there was near unanimity about their teachers being knowledgeable, and most students felt teachers were well-prepared for their teaching sessions, complaints about behaviours that adversely affected learning because of their negative impact on psychological safety in the clinical learning environment were very common. Conclusion: Despite the overall positive picture of clinical learning environments, there are significant areas of students’ welfare that need addressing to ensure psychologically safe clinical learning environment. Students’ feedback feeding into annual appraisals, and pedagogic courses are means to achieving students-centred learning environments.

“A Word About the Great Artist” by Fyodor Dostoevsky: the Beginning of the Literary Path of Lawyer Anatoly Koni

Anatoly Koni was not only a judicial, state, public and scientific figure, a teacher, but also a writer who left his memoirs of figures of Russian culture and deserved the recognition of his contemporaries. They nominated him for the Nobel Prize in Literature, elected him a member of the jury of the Pushkin Prize in Literature, an honorary academician of the Imperial Academy of Sciences in the category of fine literature, an honorary member of the Pushkin Lyceum Society and a freelance employee of the Pushkin House. The article pays special attention to the beginning of the literary activity of lawyer Anatoly Koni. The reason this talented judicial speaker tried his hand at writing was the sudden death of Fyodor Dostoevsky. These two outstanding contemporaries were linked by a friendship that lasted from 1873 until the writer’s death. They met at court sessions at the trials of Vera Zasulich and Ekaterina Kornilova, made a joint trip to the colony of juvenile lawbreakers, and in the late 1870s lived nearby and had the opportunity to visit each other. The lawyer’s literary career began in 1881, with a speech about Dostoevsky as a criminologist, which later became a repeatedly reprinted essay. The article examines the autograph of the speech, preserved thanks to the writer’s widow Anna Dostoevskaya, and reveals the main features of Kony’s artistic skill, reflected in his subsequent creative works: the influence of his legal profession on literary work, his preference for an impassioned style and didactic pathos, the use of figurative means of expression, and biblical allusions. Koni constantly reworked, supplemented and repeatedly republished his memoirs about Dostoevsky, but they were generally structured into three original essays included in his collected works: “Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky,” “F. M. Dostoevsky,” “More About Dostoevsky.” These texts analyze the work of the author of “Crime and Punishment” from a legal professional’s point of view, and also note the characteristic features of the writer and the person — “a model and a great teacher.” It was in the essay on Dostoevsky that Kony’s talent of an inspired writer was discovered, but Anatoly Fedorovich himself also played an important role in Dostoevsky’s life and work, honestly revealing to the writer the contradictory features of the Russian justice system and being an example of an excellent lawyer. The study uses a wide range of archival and memoir sources: the autograph of the speech of Anatoly Koni about Dostoevsky, his memoirs, the lawyer’s correspondence with members of the Dostoevsky family, notebooks and memoirs of Anna Dostoevskaya.

This text is an excerpt from the Master’s Dissertation that addresses THE TRIPLE BORDER OF BRAZIL, PERU AND COLOMBIA: CULTURAL DIVERSITY AS A TEACHING TOOL IN A 3RD YEAR CLASS OF PIO VEIGA STATE SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ATALAIA DO NORTE. Brazil is a country made up of great cultural diversity made up of different peoples, Africans, Europeans and indigenous people, each with their own customs, values ​​and beliefs, a mixture of different cultures. Schools located on borders, for example, are schools considered to have a higher rate of cultural diversity, as they are influenced by neighboring cities/countries. It is worth highlighting that Brazil has intense borders with several South American countries. Among these intense borders, in this study we will highlight the Triple Border: Brazil, Peru and Colombia. Although the school is a favorable environment for working with cultural diversity, what has been seen in the school environment is the great difficulty teachers have in integrating these diversities into their pedagogical practices. In this way, the school must assume the role of intermediary, for the study and knowledge of existing cultures within the school environment, through meaningful pedagogical practices. Thus, this study aimed to analyze how the cultural diversity of the triple border can contribute to the student training process.

Mursyid's Communication Patterns with the Naqsyabandiyah Congregation and Its Implementation in Religious Social Life in North Labuhanbatu Regency

<em>The aim of this research is to find out how the murshids interact with the social and religious diversity of the congregation at the Naqsyabandiyah persulukan tarekat Islamic boarding school in North Labuhanbatu subdistrict. Specifically, this research will investigate and analyze how the murshids interact with the social and religious diversity of the congregation in the Pondok Persulukan environment. Apart from that, the research will look at whether the murshids are successful in implementing their communication patterns or not. Qualitative research is used to collect data as a whole. Data was collected through interviews, observation and document examination. A thorough interview was conducted with the murshid, who was a great teacher and the person responsible for the practice of persulukan. In addition, the congregation was interviewed to confirm the results of the interview with the murshid. Apart from that, observations are carried out as a method to ensure that what is conveyed is appropriate to the conditions in the field. However, data documentation consists of reference books or materials taught to the congregation by the murshid. The multi-situation research model, modified from Miles and Huberman, was used to analyze this research data. To gain novelty, research begins by presenting single site data, creating a proposition, and then conducting cross-site research. The results of the research show that the murshid's communication pattern is integrated and has no impact on the results or accuracy of the message conveyed about the tarekat's teachings on the knowledge and practice of the congregation's (communicants) tarekat teachings. Even though the murshid's communication pattern is short, or one-way communication, there is no miscommunication regarding the content of the message received by the congregation. Therefore, this short communication pattern will have an impact on the results and accuracy of the message conveyed.</em>

Modelling Cellular Response to Ionizing Radiation: Mechanistic, Semi-Mechanistic, and Phenomenological Approaches - A Historical Perspective.

Radiation research is a multidisciplinary field, and among its many branches, mathematical and computational modelers have played a significant role in advancing boundaries of knowledge. A fundamental contribution is modelling cellular response to ionizing radiation as that is the key to not only understanding how radiation can kill cancer cells, but also cause cancer and other health issues. The invention of microdosimetry in the 1950s by Harold Rossi paved the way for brilliant scientists to study the mechanism of radiation at cellular and sub-cellular scales. This paper reviews some snippets of ingenious mathematical and computational models published in microdosimetry symposium proceedings and publications of the radiation research community. Among these are simulations of radiation tracks at atomic and molecular levels using Monte Carlo methods, models of cell survival, quantification of the amount of energy required to create a single strand break, and models of DNA-damage-repair. These models can broadly be categorized into mechanistic, semi-mechanistic, and phenomenological approaches, and this review seeks to provide historical context of their development. We salute pioneers of the field and great teachers who supported and educated the younger members of the community and showed them how to build upon their work.

#InstaMind: teachers’ beliefs on educational technology to promote seamless technology integration in early education

BackgroundThe digital revolution has deeply affected every aspect of our daily lives, including education, transforming how we learn and teach. In Italy, this transformation has occurred naturally for the alpha generation, born in the era in which technology is an integral part of their education. Conversely, for teachers who are not digital natives, adapting to this technological era is a considerable challenge. This challenge is increasing for Italian teachers working with preschoolers. Indeed, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, such technologies were sparsely utilized within early education. This study aims to explore Italian teachers’ beliefs through internal factors—i.e., self- efficacy, outcome expectations, and interest, toward the integration of educational technology in teaching.MethodsTo this end, the standardized Intrapersonal Technology Integration Scale was selected to measure the Italian teachers’ beliefs. The study includes 180 teachers working with the alpha generation, which encompasses children currently attending pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and primary education.ResultsThe results obtained from the comparison among the three groups of teachers (pre- kindergarten, kindergarten, and primary education) on the internal factors are manifold. Mainly, although all teachers are interested in educational technologies, there is a reluctance and low self-efficacy perception to use them with preschoolers. Specifically, pre-kindergarten teachers perceive themselves as less effective and satisfied using such technologies than kindergarten and primary teachers. Moreover, greater teachers’ age and greater teaching experience predict a lower level of perceived self-efficacy and outcome expectations, highlighting resistance toward technological change. All results and their implications are detailed in this text.DiscussionThis study suggests focusing on perceived self-efficacy, offering customized training to enhance it, exploiting the teachers’ interest, enriching teachers’ knowledge through scientific dissemination seminars, and using an effective method. To conclude, understanding teachers’ beliefs is a challenge to better meet the needs of the digital-native generation and harness the potential of educational technologies in childhood education.

The Role of Kindergarten Teachers Fostering Play-Based Instruction

Teachers play an important role for the students learning and development. There are varieties of learning strategies on today’s generation which are effective to the student’s development and learning. Fostering a play based learning, especially in kindergarten students is a great learning strategy for all kindergarten teachers. Teachers have an important role incorporating play in the lesson that will make the students have fun while learning, and make it easier way for the teachers to teach the young learners. This study utilized descriptive phenomenological research design as a method to characterize the experiences of the subjects. The study conducted at a pre-school. The participants of the study are those kindergarten teachers who foster already the play-based learning in their classroom, who already have experiences in fostering this kind of learning strategy. Due to the study is using descriptive design, the researchers conducted a face-to-face interview to all the participants of the study that will lasts between 30-40 minutes. The researchers used semi-structured interview in which the questions are open-ended style. The data were utilized using the Collaizi's analysis method to examine the collected data in this study. This strategy enables a thorough investigation, allowing the researchers to develop a comprehensive interpretation of the data and eventually arrive at a dependable result. After a long analysis of the themes of the interview, it summed up with 4 concepts and end of up a general concept which it is called the Constructive Journeying of the kindergarten teachers.. As a result, the constructive journey of the kindergarten teachers is the effective and recommended role that the kindergarten teachers must possess if they foster the play based learning in their discussion. In order to become a great and effective teacher, using the 4 themes to derive a generalized concept, the Constructive Journey. This shall help the teachers to reflect and enhance their teaching ways and develop the learning of the young learners through fostering the play- based learning.

Stanislavsky’s Legacy: From Vasily Toporkov to Oleg Yefremov and Oleg Tabakov

This article discusses the continuity of Konstantin Stanislavsky’s pedagogy directly to his disciple Vasily Toporkov, and from him to his students Oleg Yefremov and Oleg Tabakov. Toporkov joined the Moscow Art Theatre (MAT) as an actor eleven years before Stanislavsky’s death, which allowed him to participate in the final phase of Stanislavsky’s life’s work and his development of the method of psychophysical actions. Struck by Stanislavsky’s authority, scrutiny, and caring attitude towards all actors, as well as other co-workers of the theatre, Toporkov transmitted this legacy, together with the practical knowledge that he had gained, to Yefremov and Tabakov, recounting vivid stories and anecdotes about Stanislavsky. The article traces the professional development of both men: each founded his own theatre, Yefremov the Sovremennik, and Tabakov the Tabakerka. Thus, whether or not they set out to do so, both Yefremov and Tabakov followed Stanislavsky’s life example, when he founded the MAT. Their decision to follow Stanislavsky’s example was a logical consequence of this great teacher’s life-affirmative, spiritual, material, and intellectual legacy, which is on a par with the most significant humanistic writings. The key spiritual-physical aspects of Stanislavsky’s legacy have been passed down in a straight line from Stanislavsky to his students, from them to their students, and so on, from one generation of the Moscow Art Theatre to the next, until the present day.

Sustaining professionalism: Teachers as co‐enquirers in curriculum design

AbstractIn England, the development of teachers' curriculum design capabilities has been identified as a ‘challenge remaining’ (Department for Education [DfE]. (2022). A recent White Paper (Department for Education [DfE]. (2022). Opportunity for all: Strong schools with great teachers for your child. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/opportunity‐for‐all‐strong‐schools‐with‐great‐teachers‐for‐your‐child) offered access to a publicly funded online platform as a solution. Drawing on Stenhouse's concepts of teachers as researchers and curriculum as an inquiry process, this article argues that such a policy initiative restricts both curriculum and professional development. An alternative approach to curriculum design, one based on Stenhouse's conception of the iterative development of teachers' professional and curriculum knowledge is profiled. In this article, we, as four teacher‐researchers, analyse a project which featured the Curriculum Design Coherence (CDC) model. We share insights gained from our involvement, both in relation to our professional learning and the impact of our curriculum design work on our pupils. We argue that the ‘othering’ of teachers in research contributes towards the under valuing of practice‐informed evidence in policy making. We draw on the work of Lawrence Stenhouse to inform a different means of generating educational research evidence, one that sustains teacher‐researchers through engagement with principles and concepts so as to inform policy and curriculum development.

Pedagogical art of K. D. Ushinsky through the prism of historical reality

Introduction. The founder of Russian pedagogical anthropology K. D. Ushinsky connected the art of teaching with the need for interdisciplinary anthropological research into the process of transferring knowledge and a system of values to the younger generation. The article attempts to analyze the reasons for the long-term rejection at the state level of the principles of «the art of creating something that does not exist» as Ushinsky defined pedagogy, and to identify the main promising directions for possible current application.Materials and Methods. During the research, within the framework of an interdisciplinary approach, historical-biographical, historical-legal, historical-pedagogical methods, general scientific principles and approaches to scientific analysis were used.Results. As the purpose of the educational and pedagogical influence K. D. Ushinsky saw the formation of a generation of free, intellectually developed citizens capable of creation – the patriots of Russia. Due to certain circumstances of an ideological and administrative-political nature, his teaching was not fully accepted and did not become widespread during his lifetime. Only in the middle of 1930s the state turned to the legacy of K.D. Ushinsky. Later Soviet society failed to perceive the creative potential of the great teacher. Modern Russia should not miss this chance.Discussion and Conclusions. The conclusions presented in the article can be attributed to fundamental provisions, the implementation and development of which can give not only a short-term effect of optimizing teaching activities, but also serve as a strategic guideline for the development of modern society.

Perception of Undergraduate Medical Students in the Online OG Learning During COVID-19 Pandemic- A Cross Sectional Study at a Tertiary Care Medical College

Objectives: The COVID-19 pandemic has become a great teacher, and online teaching-learning has become the need of the hour during this crisis. In order to improve online medical education and include innovative methods to increase the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains of teaching-learning, it is essential to understand students' perceptions of this online teaching method. Methodology: A cross-sectional study was conducted among medical undergraduates at a tertiary healthcare institution involving students of third, sixth, and eighth semesters. All the students who were willing to participate were included in the study. Data was collected using a predesigned, self-administered validated questionnaire consisting of socio-demographic variables, perceptions about course content, teachers and online assessments, their rating of traditional classes compared to online classes, and their experiences with online learning. Results: A total of 295 Undergraduate medical students belonging to the third, sixth, and eighth semesters of the MBBS course were included in the study. 85% of the students felt that the online OG classes during the COVID pandemic were enjoyable. A statistically significant association was found between student's course content and gender. The ease of staying at home, studying at one's own pace, and saving the transport cost were more acceptable to the students. Lack of communication between the patients and teachers and network issues were identified as problem areas. Conclusions: Hence, online teaching may replace traditional medical teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hakim Habibur Rahman (1881-1947), a distinguished Urdu literary journalist of the Bengali literary society, renowned politician and famous Unani physician who had been honoured with the title of ‘Shefaul Mulk’ given by the British government and ‘Magician of Bangla’ given by Syed Sulaiman Nadvi, is one of the best intellectuals of Bengal in the first half of the 20th century. This short-lived personality was born in Chotakatra, Dhaka. After that, He studied in Dhaka, Kanpur, Lucknow, Delhi, Agra and gained expertise in Unani medicine and returned to Dhaka. He contributed in various fields in his varied career. He had outstanding contributions to the Muslim Renaissance movement of Bangladesh and Sir Salimullah's political and educational movement. He was one of the founders of Dhaka University (1921) and Dhaka Museum (now know as National Museum of Bangladesh). He played a significant role in spreading Urdu language and literature in Dhaka. He is called the pioneer of Urdu journalism in East Bengal and Asam. During that period, he established a big library by collecting Urdu, Persian and Arabic books written on Bengal and through this effort he tried to preserve the Bengali old history and tradition. In short, as a bearer of Muslim nationalism and a great teacher and physician, Hakim Habibur Rahman was a successful poet and essayist, translator, literary compiler, dramatist, biographer, historian, politician, organiser and a journalist.

The influence of K. D. Ushinsky on the development of the practice of social pedagogy and social work

This article is a brief overview of the professional activities of the great teacher and scientist K. D. Ushinsky in educational institutions, with which his labor activity as a reformer in education is connected. The author in his work repeats the well-known facts about his pedagogical work in the Yaroslavl Demidov Law Lyceum, the Gatchina Orphanage and the Smolny Institute for Noble Maidens. The emphasis is on the characterization of the transformations in the system of upbringing and education of that time, which affect precisely the social component of this process. In the article, the author compares the changes that were carried out by K. D. Ushinsky, with the modern practice of social work with children and adolescents in the context of social upbringing and education. The author summarizes his thoughts by concluding that the ideas of K. D. Ushinsky, which appeared more than a century and a half ago, are of great interest to modern social specialists working with the population. The classical pedagogical heritage of the Russian scientist opens up rich opportunities for intensifying social and pedagogical activities with students today, including in the practice of psychosocial work with the population.

CO-RELATION OF SUSHRUTOKTA NADI YANTRA AND MODERN SURGICAL INSTRUMENT: AN ANATOMICAL PERSPECTIVE

Ayurveda is the oldest medical system, and anatomy is one of the oldest modalities of the medical system. An-cient Indian scientists explored essential knowledge of practical anatomy. Neither in Sushruta nor in charak is there any indication of animal dissection; they perched about human dissection only, and the yantra used in it are also specially designed for human dissection only, which are now adapted by modern with different names. Dissection is the first milestone in the journey of being a doctor. Sushruta, the great sage surgeon, philosopher and teacher of ancient India, is renowned worldwide for his contribution to surgery. His conception of surgical instruments, description of quality, methods of manufacture and usage are unique, as there were no earlier com-prehensive descriptions of similar surgical instruments by any surgeon in India and the world. Sushruta was the first surgeon in the world to describe different types of surgical instruments, including endoscopes.

2023 passed in the Russian Federation as the Year of the Teacher and Mentor in honor of the 200th anniversary of the birth of K. Ushinsky. The anniversaries of teachers S. Rachinsky, I. Yakovlev, A. Makarenko, V. Sukhomlinsky were also celebrated. In 2023 SPbGIK celebrated the 105th anniversary of the founding of the university. The continuity of pedagogical ideas, forms and methods in the works and practice of great teachers in the development of Russian education is traced. Attention is drawn to the commonality in recognizing the value of the native language, introducing children to the folklore tradition in primary education, universal accessibility and democracy of education. The relevance of the ideas and experience of S. Rachinsky is considered in the context of the role of religion as one of the most important foundations of national identity. Nationality of education, education of the dignity of children and youth based on the formation of challenging work, creative, moral and aesthetic principles of the individual, the ability to cooperate, and self-discipline characterize the vector of development of education in the activities of these teachers, their development of the ideas of K. Ushinsky. The fame and popularity of names, books, memories, methods of teachers in scientific communities, the practice of organizations in Russia and the world are emphasized.

The article presents information on the results of the interactive creative forum dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the great teacher and mentor Konstantin Dmitrievich Ushinsky “Pedagogical skill is the basis for success in additional education of children,” which was organized by the All-Russian Center for the Development of Artistic Creativity and Humanitarian Technologies under the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and held in Moscow on May 31, 2023.
