<em><span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 152%; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';" lang="IN">The progress of the development of life in Indonesia affects the lifestyle, especially students. Student, someone who demands education at higher education, has many necessities of life to fulfill his studies and daily life. Online arisan is an alternative for students to save money to fulfill their daily needs. This study aims to see how to see members who are online arisan, see which ones contribute to online arisan in fulfilling student lifestyles, and see a review of Islamic economics on online social gathering activities in the Islamic economics faculty of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. The research method used a qualitative approach with data techniques, namely primary data and secondary data. Research subjects, the owner of the arisan and (9) members of the online arisan. Data techniques are premier data and secondary data. The data analysis methods used in the study were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Measurement project interoperability for real-time data gathering systems

The Internet-of-Things devices have allowed the increment of the Spatiotemporal resolution in the Real-time Data Gathering Systems. However, this has increased the complexity due to the heterogeneity of sensors. Thus, it is important to know how data can be understood aware of its context at the edge. Also, a transversal perspective is expected for aligning and reusing as many sensors as possible (based on an experimental design). Because of the hardware limitations, the experimental design should be communicated as simple, integrated, and consistent as possible under single content fostering the projects’ complementarity. This work describes a strategy for defining and communicating a set of measurement projects, following a conceptual hierarchy derived from a measurement ontology. Every project definition is obtained from the user requirements following a well-established strategy. BriefPD is introduced as a data interchange format that is self-contained, partially verifiable (through a Merkle tree insight), consistent, and does not require the use of tags to determine the content meaning. BriefPD generates a project definition in 6.27 ms (1.9 times quicker than JSON-equivalent), consuming 20.39% of JSON’s size. A Github library is provided with the reference implementation jointly with a ‘Code Ocean’ capsule for reproducing the simulation results.

General models for topology layout of oil and gas star-tree pipeline network

Oil&gas gathering pipeline network structure is a significant part of oil&gas field construction, and the rational construction of pipeline network is directly related to the efficiency and benefits of oil&gas field production. Therefore, optimizing the gathering and transportation system of oil and gas fields is the key to reducing development costs. The star-tree type pipe network is widely used in the gathering and transportation system. In order to optimize the star-tree pipe networks (STPNs) that has restrictions on the processing capacity and gathering radius of the station as a whole, this paper establishes four models of pipe network layout with specific constraints. They are Mixed-Integer Linear Programming Models with a large number of discrete variables. We take two virtual fields as examples, use CPLEX solver to solve the above four models as a whole, to obtain the optimal scheme, and also figure out the investment of the pipeline network. We further optimize the hierarchical optimization of the pipeline network with special constraints, then compare and analyze results obtained by the overall optimization. Finally, models are applied to an actual oil field and an actual gas field as examples to optimize the layout, which verifies the validity and feasibility of the models.

Influence of water cut and rates of cooling on oil flow

Oils with anomalous properties are characterized by large values of density, viscosity, high content of paraffinic hydrocarbons and asphaltene-resinous substances (up to 30%), high pour point (35–38°C), which increases the likelihood of complications in the processes of production, field gathering and oil treatment. Therefore, for many countries with cold climatic conditions, the problem of improving the low-temperature properties of oils is one of the most pressing problems in the production and transportation of hard-to-recover oils. Recent studies show that the rates of heating / cooling processes have a great influence on the rheological properties of natural oil mixtures during heat treatment. The experience of operating oil fields shows that in oil gathering and transportation systems, due to the water cut of oils and the aggressiveness of formation waters, persistent oil emulsions are often formed, which complicate the commercial preparation of oils. The article presents the results of studies of the influence of the water cut factor on the transportation of well products, as well as the effect of the cooling rate on the pour point of oil emulsions. Laboratory studies have shown that an increase in the water content in emulsions of more than 40% leads to a significant increase in viscosity over the entire temperature range. It is also shown that an increase in water cut increases the pour point of oil by 7-14°С.

Regulatory oversight on the use of experimental therapies during a pandemic: The case of early access to convalescent plasma therapy in three LMICs

Clinicians, especially in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), contend with limited economic and healthcare resources in deciding appropriate and feasible care for their patients. Some of the LMICs affected by COVID-19 implemented convalescent plasma therapy without sufficient regulatory guidance. Based on this experience, there are several requirements going forward, including: the need for an immediately accessible data gathering and processing system; the necessity of establishing regulatory pathways for early access to experimental treatment during emergency situations; and the accompanying reporting and monitoring requirements must be set. The different stakeholders must also be properly incorporated in the system that such a pathway will create, without neglecting to properly inform the public of the patient rights especially during an emergency situation.

Determination of boundary temperature and intelligent control scheme for heavy oil field gathering and transportation system

Heavy oil gathering and transportation system is increasingly attention and the realization of intelligent control has become the oilfield development direction and trend in the future. In this paper, boundary temperature is defined as safe inlet temperature and optimal oil transportation temperature. The intelligent supervisory control and data acquisition system was used to collect the production data of an oilfield in Western China in real-time. The heavy oil transportation pipeline was divided into 9 types through big data analysis. The safe inlet temperature under different conditions was determined by flow loop experiments. Then the total heat transfer coefficient was corrected by the least square method, and the optimal oil transportation temperature was calculated by the mathematical model. The results indicated that the relationship of the temperature drop along the pipeline could be more accurately predicted by the modified total heat transfer coefficient. Heavy oil field gathering and transportation system had low-temperature transportation potential in summer and winter. Liquid production, water cut, and the ambient temperature had a significant effect on the temperature gradient and safe inlet temperature. The heavy oil with high liquid production and high water cut had the greatest potential for low-temperature transportation. An oilfield intelligent control and management scheme is proposed to effectively guide heavy oil production. This study is of great significance to guide the optimization of operation parameters of heavy oil field gathering and transportation system, realize energy saving and consumption reduction, and ensure the efficient and stable operation of the pipeline.

Study and determination of regularities in variability of oil rheological properties to enhance oil recovery

The processes of oil production, collection and treatment are complicated by a complex of problems associated with the formation of stable oil emulsions, deposits of asphalt-resin substances and paraffinic hydrocarbons, inorganic salts. Moreover, the formed sediments often have a complex blend composition. Especially, at the late stage of oil field development, as a rule, procedures of gathering and processing of oil are complicated, in particular, by wall mud cake, low pressure, and also by an increase in the water cut of the product, with an increase in the volume of chemicals used during repair works and for production stimulation. Under these conditions, it becomes relevant to determine the regularities in changes of the rheological properties of oil to prevent complications in pumping equipment and flow strings, pipelines, equipment, and tank farm of oil gathering systems. The use of ultrasonic waves in electrophysical advanced recovery has a number of advantages, including simple and fast application, protection from wellbore damage, high profitability, low operating costs, significant compatibility with other enhanced oil recovery methods, and widespread application. This paper provides a technical and economic assessment of the effectiveness of electrophysical stimulation in the production field in Western Kazakhstan. The use of electrophysical stimulation technology in the production fields shows high technological efficiency. A decrease in the oil viscosity in a bottomhole zone of a production well during the use of ultrasound leads to an increase in the flood front during the water-driven operation of the reservoir. This matter was addressed in the present paper.

Asphalt pavement macrotexture monitoring in cracked surfaces by using an acoustical low-cost continuous method

Road surface friction is one of the most important parameters determining road safety and macrotexture is one of the important factors affecting it. There are two types of traditional and automated data gathering methods. One of the disadvantages of automated methods is the high cost of purchasing or manufacturing. The purpose of this study is evaluating the feasibility of a low-cost dynamic method based on tire/road noise to evaluate the macrotexture of cracked non-porous asphalt pavements.To this end, the tire/road noise gathering system has been developed inspired by the ISO 11819-2 standard. The developed system has been used for data collection alongside with the health monitoring system of the Amirkabir University of Technology. After data gathering, the relationship between macrotexture indices (laser-based) and tire/road noise features has been evaluated. Using artificial neural networks, models for relating different sound and macrotexture indices in each frequency band are presented with the best correlation result being R2 = 0.76 between MPD and power spectral density in the 500 to 1500 Hz frequency band. The results indicate that in cracked pavement surfaces, by focusing on the vibration mechanism, acceptable results can be achieved in macrotexture monitoring by using interaction noise.

Benefits and Limitations of Methods of Measuring Food Losses and Their Economic and Non-Economic Significance – The Case of Bakery and Confectionery Industry

Abstract The urgent challenge of reaching sustainable development goals (including those pertaining to the limitation of food losses and waste) raises social awareness in this area. At the same time, a need arose to conduct studies focusing on the creation of a system of gathering and reporting data on food wastage and procedures helping to reduce its scale. The article presents and discusses the benefits and drawbacks of selected methods of data collection used for estimating of food losses in processing sectors, based on a case of the bakery and confectionery industry (the mass balance method, quantitative studies – questionnaire/survey methods, qualitative research – in-depth interviews, direct measurement). Attention was paid to the importance of methodological, technical, organisational and legal aspects. The starting points were the methods for certain links in the food chain identified in EU legal documents of 2019. Bakery and confectionery businesses make up around 40% of the number of entities operating in the agri-food sector in Poland, holding an important place in the food economy. The sector's losses are around 2.5% of the mass of the manufactured products, with the highest losses attributable to production departments in bakeries. The complexity of manufacturing processes of a wide range of bakery and confectionery products raises numerous problems with regard to measuring losses, especially in the methodological, technical, organisational and legal aspects. The mass balance method should be considered the most recommended for measuring losses in the bakery and confectionery sector. Collected knowledge can be used on a practical level, to create reporting systems about food losses in our country for selected food sectors. Such actions will allow meeting the reporting requirements of the European Commission (EC) and to monitor process of food loss reduction.

IoT Solution for AI-Enabled PRIVACY-PREServing with Big Data Transferring: An Application for Healthcare Using Blockchain

Internet of Things (IoT) performs a vital role in providing connectivity between computing devices, processes, and things. It significantly increases the communication facilities and giving up-to-date information to distributed networks. On the other hand, the techniques of artificial intelligence offer numerous and valuable services in emerging fields. An IoT-based healthcare solution facilitates patients, hospitals, and professionals to observe real-time and critical data. In the literature, most of the solution suffers from data intermission, high ethical standards, and trustworthiness communication. Moreover, network interruption with recurrent expose of sensitive and personal health data decreases the reliance on network systems. Therefore, this paper intends to propose an IoT solution for AI-enabled privacy-preserving with big data transferring using blockchain. Firstly, the proposed algorithm uses a graph-modeling to develop a scalable and reliable system for gathering and transmitting data. In addition, it extracts the subset of nodes using the artificial intelligence approach and achieves efficient services for the healthcare system. Secondly, symmetric-based digital certificates are utilized to offer authentic and confidential transmission with communication resources using blockchain. The proposed algorithm is explored with existing solutions through multiple simulations and proved improvement in terms of realistic parameters.

The application of Clean and Healthy Lifestyle should become a daily habit. Although it seems simple, in reality there are still many people who do not pay attention to the importance of Clean and Healthy Behavior for the health of themselves, their families, and the surrounding environment. Clean and Healthy Lifestyle is a movement that aims to improve the quality of life and public health. Among the Clean and Healthy Lifestyles is the habit of defecating in healthy latrines. Data from the Seluma District Health Office shows that there are still many residents in Seluma District who defecate openly. Various efforts have been made to accelerate the reduction of open defecation; but the results are not optimal. The healthy latrine social gathering system is expected to be a “leverage tool” in realizing healthy latrine ownership and mobilizing the values of community social solidarity. The target of the activity is families in Kungkai Baru Village, Air Periukan Subdistrict, Seluma Regency, Bengkulu Province who do not yet have permanent healthy latrines, are committed to “latrine social gathering groups”, and get recommendations for “good behavior” from community leaders. The results of the activity show that: 1. There has been an increase in the quality of environmental health and family health, especially for underprivileged groups, 2. This activity supports the achievement of the Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Health for 2020-2024 concerning Clean and Healthy Lifestyles, 3. This activity is a response to the problems of poor families who have not been able to build latrines so that they have healthy latrines which have an impact on improving the health quality of the village environment which is getting better, healthier, clean and comfortable as well as increasing social solidarity. 4. This latrine social gathering program is a complement to the “zero open defecation” program and the renovation program for uninhabitable houses, and 5. This activity initiated the realization of Kungkai Baru Village as a village free of open defecation.

Analysis and Research of Port Gathering and Transportation System in Tokyo Port

Port industry belongs to the basic industry of national economy, is the most advanced window of a country’s opening to the outside world, and is an important hub for communication of economic and trade exchanges. The unimpeded collection and distribution energy directly affects the development of port throughput and the development of integrated port area. Therefore, it is one of the key factors to control the efficiency and benefit of port logistics service. This paper analyzes the existing problems of the Tokyo port distribution system and proposes corresponding countermeasures.

AN IMPROVEMENT OF PRODUCTIVITY BY REAL TIME MACHINE MONITORING SYSTEM: A case study of printing industry

Digital technologies and automation integration is one of the promising directions to increase productivity in the manufacturing. A consulting project to promoting the adoption of digital technology under the policy of the Department of Industrial Promotion, and Thailand 4.0 to help small and medium entrepreneurs (SMEs) to assess and gain readiness to the use of cyber-physical including digital technology. The real-time data gathering system for monitoring and displaying information is presented. For example, IoT based sensors is applied in digital counting of machine-made goods. This data can be used to analyze the root cause of a manufacturing process problem, for example, time lost due to discontinuity of work or setting up. Best practices are observed at a printing factory. The implementation shows the effective data acquisition even the running speed of a machine is high. The owner and manager gain real-time access to the dashboard through their mobile phone or personal computer. Therefore, they can manage their jobs instantly and remotely. Moreover, the stored data can be downloaded in Excel format. The data can be used in process waste analysis. The numerical results of using this system, overall equipment productivity and efficiency (OEE) were increased by 10% to 15%, approximately.

The exchange of self-incriminating information of athletes between sports organisations and law enforcement

Sports organisations generally have the burden of proving sports rule violations of sportspersons subject to their rules and regulations. Sports rule violations can generally be proven by any reliable means. A common approach taken by sports organisations in this respect is the implementation of so-called cooperation and reporting obligations embedded in their regulations. On this basis, athletes can be obliged to provide all kind of documentary evidence related or unrelated to the matter under investigation. This may cause problems to the privilege against self-incrimination of athletes. In addition, obtaining self-incriminating information in internal sports investigations carried out by private sports organisations can have legal and personal consequences that go well beyond the professional life of athletes. The integrity of sport has been characterised as a public interest due to the social impact of amateur and professional sports in most societies. As a consequence, negative sports-related conduct, such as doping or the manipulation of sports competitions, has been criminalised in various national laws to protect sporting values and preserve the role model function of athletes for young members of our society. This development has led to cooperation between sports organisations and law enforcement agencies, such as prosecutors and the police. Specifically, both collaborate in order to assist the other party’s investigations of sports rule violations and criminal offences, respectively. However, the exchange of intelligence between sports organisations and law enforcement may cause some legal tension. If the same misconduct of athletes leads to both internal sports investigations and criminal proceedings, athletes could be forced to provide self-incriminating information in internal sports organisations, which could then be subsequently transmitted to law enforcement. This system of intelligence gathering raises serious concerns regarding the procedural fairness thereof, keeping in mind the detrimental effects for sportspersons under investigations. A closer look is thus necessary to the legitimacy of the exchange of intelligence. Therefore, the aim of this article is to shed some light on this issue and clarify if and under what conditions internally obtained evidence can be passed on to law enforcement agencies.

Mapping Long-Term Care in Jamaica: Addressing an Ageing Population

Jamaica’s ageing population, high prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and associated functional impairments suggest the need for a sustainable long-term care (LTC) system. This paper describes the current LTC system in Jamaica. A review of empirical and grey literature on LTC was supplemented with consultations and interviews and group discussions for knowledge exchange, impact and engagement events with stakeholders being conducted as part of a project on dementia care improvement. Four key findings emerged: (1) Jamaica’s LTC system depends substantially on informal care (both unpaid and paid); (2) there is a need for strategic coordination for LTC across the state, cross-ministerial, private, and volunteer sectors; (3) compulsory insurance and social protection schemes appear to exacerbate rather than narrow socioeconomic inequalities in LTC; and (4) there is a lack of systematic LTC data gathering and related information systems in both the private and public sector—for both institutional and community-based care. For LTC in Jamaica and the broader Caribbean region to be sustainable, more evidence-informed policies and practices that address inequalities in access to services, ability to pay for care, direct support from government, and the risk of needing LTC are needed.

General Optimization Model of Modular Equipment Selection and Serialization for Shale Gas Field

The potential technical and economic advantages and flexible operability of modular equipment make it increasing widely used in gas field production and development. In addition to considering the manufacturing process, the selection and serialization of modular equipment should be made according to the productivity prediction of a gas well, so as to meet the field demand to the greatest extent and enhance the flexibility of gathering and transportation system. This article proposes a method to determine the use planning of modular equipment in shale gas field. Considering the processing capacity, processing cost, floor area, construction cost of modular equipment, and the changes of market supply and demand, an optimization model is established. On the basis of the abovementioned model, the method of serialization of modular equipment is proposed. The effectiveness of the model is verified by an actual case study. It is proved that the model can optimize the layout of modular equipment, make the modular equipment run efficiently and economically, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. This study provides a reference for optimizing the equipment management strategy and promoting green production practice of shale gas production.

Creation of a comprehensive algorithm for analysis of oil fields to increase their economic attractiveness and technological potential

The article proposes an algorithm for analyzing the development scheme and the gathering system for oil fields at a late stage of development in order to increase their investment attractiveness. The algorithm is carried out in several stages and is based on the use of the theory of fuzzy sets, which allows us to consider the field as a kind of fuzzy set and break down individual aspects of its operation into subsets.

Pergeseran Praktik Jual Beli Ke Sistem Arisan Pada Masyarakat Desa Dulamayo Selatan Kabupaten Gorontalo Perspektif Hukum Ekonomi Syariah

Selling and buying goods with the regular social gathering system is the same as selling and buying in general. However, buying and selling with this social gathering system is a sale and purchase that is carried out when one party gets a lottery at the social gathering, only getting goods, not money. This study aims to determine the factors that cause buying and selling of goods with the regular social gathering system and how the perspective of sharia economic law on selling and buying goods with the regular social gathering system in Dulamayo Selatan Village. This research is field research with an empirical juridical approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the data collected were analyzed by qualitative descriptive. Based on the results of the research and discussion carried out, it is known: first, buying and selling goods with the regular social gathering system is carried out because it is caused by internal factors, namely the chairman of the regular social gathering gains from money, the price of goods, and discounts if someone gets a lottery by taking money, as well as other factors external, namely because there are parties who cannot afford to buy goods in the case and because Dulamayo Selatan Village is very far from urban areas. Second, buying and selling goods with the regular social gathering system in Dulamayo Selatan Village; in the view of sharia economic law is not allowed because it contains elements of usury, and the practice of the regular social gathering goods being replaced with money is also not allowed because it violates the agreement at the beginning of the sale and purchase of goods with the regular social gathering system and is detrimental to the regular social gathering members.

Praktek Jual Beli Barang Sistem Arisan di Desa Gardusayang Kecamatan Cisalak Kabupaten Subang Dalam Perspektif Ekonomi Syariah

This research was conducted in Gardusayang Village, Cisalak District, Subang Regency. bermuamalah is one form of convenience for humans to fulfill everything related to their daily needs as living creatures and social beings, among the actions of the community to meet material needs is social gathering, but members still do not understand the practice of buying and selling goods arisan system in Islamic economic perspective. This study aims to provide a description of the implementation of the sale and purchase of social gathering system items, a review of the sharia economy on the sale and purchase of social gathering system goods and the impact of the sale and purchase of social gathering system goods. This research is a qualitative type with an empirical approach, data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation. In this study the data source consisted of primary data and secondary data. From the results of the study that the practice of buying and selling goods arisan system in the Village of Gardusayang Cisalak-Subang in the implementation of the social gathering members have been willing and agreed to accept the social gathering system made by the head of the social gathering that the members are willing to pay the social gathering according to a mutually agreed period of time. In this economic review of arisan sharia, it is permissible in Islamic Shari'a because it brings more benefits to arisan participants as a means of mutual assistance between them, so that it can have an effect or impact on improving family welfare, because through this arisan they can meet various his necessities such as buying something that might be difficult to buy if he only relied on the opinion of his family
