The thermal neutron capture cross sections of 48Ti, 51V, 50,52,53Cr and 58,60,62,64NI were re-estimated using recent data on the thermal neutron capture cross-section of the 14N. The γ-ray spectra emitted after thermal capture were studied using the IEA-R1 2 MW research reactor and a pair spectrometer with a Ge(Li) detector and two NaI(Tl) scintillators. The spectrometer efficiency calibration curve was verified by calculating the prompt γ-ray intensities from the 35Cl(n,γ) 36Cl reaction.
