Numerical methods for optimizing logistics systems in the process of inventory management

Scientists have always faced the task of evaluating the effectiveness of the functioning of complex systems, which unambiguously include logistics systems of transport (water, air, rail, automobile and their combinations) and stocks of products (goods), which (stocks of goods) are in static (warehouses) and dynamic (transport) states over time. A huge amount of theoretical material has been accumulated in this field of knowledge, which has been repeatedly tested and successfully applied, especially in relation to logistics systems. However, as is known, on the basis of an efficiency assessment, similar systems are compared, the operation of the systems is promptly evaluated, the system's compliance with its purpose is checked, the presence or absence of targeted targeting is found out, etc. Hence, the relevance of the mathematical apparatus (numerical methods) for optimizing stocks of products (goods) is determined as a calculation for reasoned decision-making on effective inventory management using transport and storage capacities on an economic basis: the objective function is to minimize costs. Cost reduction in the processes of functioning of logistics systems due to the action of two basic laws – the law of saving time and the law of conservation of energy is one of the main modern directions for increasing their efficiency as complex systems [1-5]. Therefore, the optimization of logistics systems according to the criterion of costs (losses) in the processes of their functioning is defined as the formulation of the research task. The aim of the work is to develop the application of numerical methods for optimizing logistics systems in the process of inventory management. The novelty consists in the application of numerical methods and the calculated ratios obtained, which can be used in the practice of the logistics system of water, air, rail and road transport for inventory management by optimizing the determined losses (costs). The result consists in the developed method of studying theoretically calculated losses occurring in the processes of functioning of logistics systems of all types of transport and their combinations (hereinafter transport). The theoretical significance of the results obtained is the development of the application of numerical methods for optimizing logistics systems in the process of inventory management, including: a set of factors and criteria for optimizing logistics processes; a method for modeling and optimizing the processes of functioning of logistics transport systems; a method for analyzing losses in the processes of functioning of logistics transport systems. These theoretical provisions make it possible to optimize the processes of functioning of logistics transport systems and, ultimately, to increase the efficiency of providing consumers, which is of important socio-economic importance.

Methodological approaches to analysis of efficiency of functioning of logistics system of the enterprise

Introduction. Analysis of efficiency of functioning of logistics system of the enterprise is a real tool for managing such a system, ensuring its stability and dynamic development. Also such an analysis is a tool for searching adequate directions of providing and increasing the efficiency of functioning of logistics system of the enterprise. The purpose of this paper is to explore and develop the methodological approaches to analysis of efficiency of functioning of logistics system of the enterprise. To achieve the purpose of the paper, the set of methods of theoretical generalization (induction, deduction, analogy, abstraction, comparison, generalization, grouping, analysis, synthesis, causality), abstract-logical and tabular methods are used. Results. The importance of researching methodological provisions to analysis of efficiency of functioning of logistics system of the enterprise are proven. The key criteria of the efficiency of functioning of logistics system of the enterprise are determined. The objects, subjects, main tasks, directions, principles, methods, information base of analysis of efficiency of functioning of logistics system of the enterprise are substantiated. An algorithm for analyzing the efficiency of functioning of logistics system of the enterprise is developed. The directions of the analysis are highlighted and characterized. The main indicators of efficiency of functioning of logistics system of the enterprise are systematized and grouped according to the directions of analysis. Conclusion. Based on the results of analysis the efficiency of functioning of logistics system of the enterprise, strategic prospects for its optimization are developed and the most optimal management solutions for further development are determined. Further research should focus on developing strategic and tactical vectors of increasing the efficiency of functioning of logistics system of the enterprise.

Modeling of transportation and technological processes in automated systems

The purpose of the study is to create a problem-oriented model of transport and technological processes in automated systems. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to develop methodological aspects of creating an automated modeling system. The content of the basic principles of problem-oriented modeling in the study of an integrated automated system for managing stocks and transport and technological processes is revealed in the paper. At the same time, methodological aspects of creating automated modeling systems, namely, a conceptual mathematical model for the analysis and standardization of technical and economic indicators are considered. The functioning of logistics systems, namely, system modeling (supply — transport) is also considered. The problems of interaction and relationships, optimization of resource flows, and increasing the efficiency of management decisions making have been solved. It is shown that modeling resource flows involves adjustments through iterative redistribution of interregional and intraregional supplies among suppliers and consumers. Combining product items into one delivery leads to savings in stocks formation costs by reducing the number of orders. To create effective automated control systems, it is necessary to study in detail the primary object — the logistics and technical support system itself. The creation of applied mathematical and software is a promising direction for solving this problem and developing it as an automated modeling system. In this regard, when creating such automated control systems, it is most advisable to use a model-oriented approach, which is based on the principles of system analysis, standardization, classification and modularity. Thus, it is shown that the use of the problem-oriented approach to creating an automated modeling system makes it possible to reduce the labor intensity of its development and implementation, to provide the opportunity to unify algorithms for solving a problem, but also to apply standard methods for processing experimental results.

PROBLEMS AND CHALLENGES OF DATA ANALYTICS IMPLEMENTATION IN THE LOGISTICS SECTOR OF UKRAINE

Data analytics is a vital component of modern logistics management in Ukraine. It relies on methods and tools for processing, analyzing, and interpreting large volumes of data with the aim of discovering useful relationships, patterns, and peculiarities of the functioning of logistics systems. One of the key aspects of data analytics is data collection and processing. This requires having a structured database that can be accessed to obtain the necessary data. The data collection process may involve various sources such as logistics systems, reference information, electronic databases, and more. After collecting the data, it is essential to process and prepare them for further analysis. Another crucial aspect of data analytics is data analysis and interpretation. Various methods and tools are used for this, including statistical analysis, machine learning, analytical models, etc. Data analysis enables the detection of trends, dependencies, and hidden information that can be valuable for decision-making in logistics processes. Data interpretation involves seeking meaning and significance of the obtained results and converting them into practical recommendations and strategic decisions.
 The importance of data analytics in logistics processes cannot be overstated. In today's environment, when the Ukrainian market is becoming increasingly competitive, the ability to analyze information quickly and efficiently can be a decisive factor for success. The third key aspect is the use of the data obtained. After analyzing and interpreting the information, companies must be able to implement the knowledge gained into their logistics strategies. This may include optimizing supply chains, improving customer experience, or introducing new technologies.
 Data analytics plays a key role in modern logistics management. It allows companies not only to understand the current state of the market, but also to predict future trends, adapt to changes, and remain competitive. To use data analytics effectively, organizations must invest in developing their analytical capabilities, including staff training, implementing the latest technologies, and creating effective mechanisms for collecting and processing data.

PROBLEMS AND PERSPECTIVES OF THE FUNCTIONING OF NATIONAL LOGISTICS SYSTEMS ON AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT MARKETS

This article examines the main trends in the creation and development of the logistics concept in normal conditions and in the conditions of military operations on the territory of Ukraine, where, in particular, an analysis was carried out and, based on its results, the main elements of the functioning of logistics systems to ensure the competitive advantages of agricultural entities in the food market were identified. The leading role of the supply chain of agricultural products in logistics is emphasized and the scenarios of its development under the influence of external factors are considered. At the same time, the main aspects of the restoration of supply chains, taking into account large-scale military operations on the territory of Ukraine, are highlighted in such areas as transparency in the supply chain, availability of stocks, realistic demand of the end consumer, etc. In addition, it has been proven that logistics is one of the key elements of the development of the state'seconomy in general and the agricultural industry in particular. It has been determined and proven that the prospects for the development of the logistics services market in Ukraine directly depend on the state of the country's economy as a whole. In the process of writing the article, one's own vision of the functioning and peculiarities of logistics chain management in conditions of uncertainty and the influence of negative trends was proposed. These trends include: a decrease in export and import volumes due to the blockade of ports; changing the structure of logistics flow directions; a significant increase in risks and unforeseen threats to the supply of goods. The proper definition and conditions of functioning of logistics chains of agrarian enterprises in conditions of full-scale war are given.

Совершенствование показателей транспортного потока в структуре интегрированной логистической системы

The authors reveal the concept of an integrated logistics system. On the example of a machine-building enterprise (medium-scale production), the transport subsystem of providing logistics is considered in detail, depending on the type of production, the scale and geographical location of the enterprise, the industry affiliation of the enterprise, the type, weight and dimensions of the products, methods of selling products (directly or through suppliers), the use of the method of logical outsourcing, the sale of products within the country or its export deliveries. For finding reserves when building service and infrastructure flows, the following criteria of the transport flow are determined and investigated: the criterion of the turnover of the car, the criterion of the average daily mileage of the car, the criterion of the static load of the car, the criterion of the dynamic load of the car, the criterion of the performance of the car, the car traffic. Based on the improvement of the structural scheme of the integrated logistics system, the authors propose a methodology for a comprehensive assessment of the functioning of logistics systems according to the indicators, the calculated accumulation intervals before and after the implementation of the integrated logistics system are given. The approach proposed by the authors allows considering an integrated logistics system in a complex to improve the quality of management activities and finding reserves in the organization of the transport flow.

ФОРМУВАННЯ БІЗНЕС-МОДЕЛІ ЛОГІСТИЧНОГО ПІДПРИЄМСТВА В УМОВАХ ЦИФРОВОЇ ТРАНСФОРМАЦІЇ

The article is devoted to the definition and justification of strategic aspects of the formation of a business model of a logistics enterprise in the conditions of digital transformation. During the research, it was found that the processes of digital transformation have a significant impact not only on the final results of domestic logistics enterprises, but also on the formation and implementation of strategic plans and their prospects. The authors emphasized that the strategic formation of the business model of domestic enterprises is significantly complicated not only by the accelerated pace of business development due to digital transformation, but also by economic and political instability in our country. In the conditions of digital transformation, traditional logistics strategies are not always appropriate to use, therefore there is a need to take into account foreign experience in the formation of business models and its adaptation in the activities of domestic enterprises. Strategic aspects of modern business models must be adapted to the real conditions of conducting domestic business, that is, the difficulties of wartime and the consequences of digital transformation. The authors stated that the current conditions of functioning of domestic enterprises were significantly complicated by economic and political instability and the introduction of martial law in connection with Russian military aggression. Enterprises do not work so much to maximize profit as to survive and maintain their positions in the market. The market requires the logistics business to take into account constant changes, develop competitive advantages, predict possible changes in demand, etc. The authors of the article believe that it is the formation of a business model of development that enables a logistics enterprise to effectively and rationally carry out its activities. In the course of the study, the authors suggested adapting existing business models to modern complex business conditions and adapting them to the functioning of logistics systems.

Technical and economic feasibility of using agricultural biomass (grain straw and oilseeds) for heat production in Kazakhstan

A steady trend of recent decades is the search and implementation of efficient, rational and renewable sources of thermal energy to reduce environmental pollution. Agricultural biomass pellets can be used as biofuels. Purpose – issues of development of bioenergy in Kazakhstan, economic feasibility of using this technology by managing supply chains of grain straw and oilseeds from the field to the consumer are considered. Methods – analysis of logistics audit, which examined the characteristics of supply chains from raw materials to energy resources, taking into account each stage of logistics: harvesting, storage, transportation, associated costs and the flow of information through logistics channels. Results – main logistics chains for the delivery of this organic energy carrier, its cost and complex logistics operations in production and use of energy, as well as losses at each stage, are determined. It has been determined that potential amount of waste varies for various crops and regions of the republic. Recommendations have been developed for functioning of logistics system for the supply of waste materials of agricultural production as fuel for boiler house and directions for improving the efficiency of logistics means of communication based on existing and potential ways of importing biomass are shown. Conclusions – agro-industrial complex will receive significant benefits from the use of renewable energy sources (RES) through "green" technologies. In addition to environmental benefits, renewable energy will reduce operating costs and improve energy security of the enterprise. Renewable energy production will help diversify the income of economic entities in agro-industrial complex through the sale of surplus electricity produced, as well as various types of biofuels – promising type of renewable energy resources with high calorific value.

ОСНОВНІ ХАРАКТЕРИСТИКИ ПОНЯТТЯ ЛОГІСТИКИ І СИСТЕМИ УПРАВЛІННЯ ЛАНЦЮГАМИ ПОСТАЧАНЬ

Despite the more than two-thousand-year history of logistics, its general problem still exists – the problem of an unsatisfactory level of logistics theory, misunderstanding of the true meaning of logistics. This is manifested in different understanding of logistics in different historical eras; even in one era, there are different understandings of logistics by different authors. And as a result, the low efficiency of logistics practice due to unnecessary actions not related to logistics itself. Therefore, the costs of such logistics, especially for small enterprises, may exceed the results of using the logistics itself. The problem of determining the true meaning of logistics is becoming urgent.
 The article examines the concept of logistics, characterizes its essence, analyses the levels of logistics systems, their use in the process of international cooperation. It is shown that the effective functioning of logistics systems and the improvement of the global logistics infrastructure significantly affect the development of international cooperation.
 The article highlights the economic essence and significance of logistics. It was determined that the correct functioning and correct interaction of structural elements of logistics processes at the enterprise will contribute to increasing the effectiveness of management decisions. Domestic and foreign definitions of the term «logistics» are analysed. General aspects of the modern understanding of logistics are highlighted. It was determined that logistics allows you to control all processes where savings can be made.
 The classification of logistics is presented. The integration of logistics with the main spheres of the enterprise is shown. The article presents a study of modern trends and prospects for the development of the logistics services market in Ukraine, factors that hold back the development of the logistics market in our country, and also analyses the position of Ukraine in the global ranking of logistics efficiency and draws conclusions about the priority directions for its improvement.
 To achieve the goal, the following general scientific and special research methods and techniques were used in the work: comparative analysis of scientific literature and information sources based on methods of comparison, systematization and generalization; generalization of analysis results and logical generation of conclusions.

PECULIARITIES OF DEVELOPMENT OF LOGISTIC SUPPORT FOR USING OF UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES

The main aim of the report is creation an unified theory of logistics of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine based on the existing theories of armament and the logistics of the Armed Forces, the general laws and determined trends, principles, forms and methods of the use of the logistics of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and impact Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) on this theory. Based on the information analysis on critical UAV maintenance tasks including tasks unique to UAV operations, and the facilities and personnel involved in maintenance, the issues of UAV maintenance were grouped into three categories. 
 The objective function of the logistics system of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is formulated, which is to achieve compliance of the capabilities of this system with the predicted volume of tasks of the logistics given the use of UAV. In order to implement this compliance it is necessary to ensure the convergence of requirements and capabilities at all levels of logistics management. 
 The assessment of the functioning of the Air Forces logistics system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is proposed on the basis of the stated views on the logistics theory of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by assessing the set of real capabilities of each subsystem that is the part of its structure and system as a whole. 
 At the same time, the assessment of the quality of the logistic support of the military units (formations) of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine should be related to the level of implementation of the potential capabilities of the logistics system when solving problems of each subsystem at the stages of combat training, unblocking and operational deployment, preparation and conduct of operations (combat actions), restoration of combat capability of troops (forces).

Methodological approaches to efficiency evaluation logistics system of pharmacy network

The paper reveals the important characteristics of methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of logistics systems. Peculiarities of functioning of logistics systems of pharmacy networks are characterized. Based on the acquaintance with the scientific works of the founders on this issue, approaches to assessing the effectiveness of the logistics system are systematized. A system of evaluation indicators for each component of the logistics system is proposed. The logistics system of the business entity, and this fully applies to the logistics system of pharmacy networks, is not in a permanent state. Dynamic changes in the system are due to the influence of macro-environmental factors and changes in the internal nature, which pose the task of developing the system to ensure its adequacy to new conditions. It is the development of the system is the basis for improving the efficiency of its operation and the ability to achieve goals through the solution of a certain range of tasks. In such conditions, the study of the development of the logistics system of the pharmacy network deserves special attention. Existing approaches to assessing the development of the logistics system do not exclude, but complement each other, creating a methodological basis for the formation of effective management decisions on logistics management of the business entity. As a result of research of scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists on a problem of a choice and formation of indicators of an estimation of efficiency of logistic systems, we proposed a system of evaluation indicators for each component of the logistics system. In this case, in our opinion, such a system should include not only indicators that characterize the efficiency of the functional components of the logistics system of the pharmacy network (supply, production, transportation, warehousing, sales), but also indicators of efficiency subsystems, namely organizational and management, infrastructure and resource subsystems. This system approach will allow to take into account the impact of all components of the logistics system of the pharmacy network on the efficiency of its operation.

Logistics systems in modern conditions of the network infrastructure of the country’s transport complex

The article is aimed at studying the essence of the functioning of logistics systems, as well as determining how the use of innovations affects the economic development of enterprises and their logistics systems. The authors use innovative and system-integrated approaches to the development of functioning of logistics systems. The main results of the study are: development of an augmented classification of innovations in the logistics system, which contributes to the determination of objective and adequate models of economic situation and directions of their development, determination of vectors of innovative development of logistics systems in a modern business model, proposal of priority directions for improving functioning of logistics systems. Article materials may be useful in formulating a strategy for innovative development of logistics systems, which will contribute to their harmonization and adaptation to modern dynamic changes in the external economic environment and increase the investment attractiveness of enterprises.

International Logistics Systems: Research of Transformations under the Influence of Recession and Definition of Perspective Directions of Logistics Architecture Development

The recession caused by the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the activities of economic operators in the vast majority of sectors. It is obvious that the impact of the pandemic factor on the transport and logistics sector has reached a significant scale. Logistics companies involved in the movement (delivery) and storage of goods (cargo) were directly affected by SARS-CoV-2. As an integral part of production and distribution chains both domestically and in the global market, logistics companies directly promote trade and commerce and help companies deliver their products (goods) to customers (buyers, consumers). Thus, supply chain disruptions caused by the pandemic significantly affect the competitiveness of companies, communications, economic growth, job creation and preservation, business scaling. The paper examines the functioning of logistics systems and international transport supply chains in the difficult conditions of recession caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. A critical analysis of the architecture, capabilities and efficiency of global logistics and the challenges that shape modern trends and behaviour (production, sales, marketing, etc.) of economic entities. The paper examines the effects of the SARS-Cov-2 pandemic on the efficiency of these systems, namely – economic and marketing aspects, as well as changes in the organizational structure. The study identifies and analyses current transformations of trade and logistics relations and emphasizes the need to develop a new logistics architecture taking into account key factors influencing the industry through the definition of a set of economic (financial, commercial, investment) indicators that reflect the state of the industry with further development of effective strategic measures to support and develop logistics architecture based on innovation and implementation of non-conflicting business practices.

Uloga, značaj i pristupi izučavanju logistike

Introduction/purpose:The paper presents the development of logistics as a specific field of military branch, a contemporary field of business and a scientific discipline which inspires many researchers, theorists and practitioners to approach logistical problems from various aspects. The essence of logistics is an integrated approach to all its constituent activities, which reduces costs and increases the efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics system in supporting the primary activities of an organization or a technical system. Due to intensive and multidimensional development of logistics and its applications in various fields, the need for highly educated logistics personnel with specialized knowledge for performing a wide range of activities in the logistics system is becoming increasingly necessary. Methods: Based on the description of military, business, national and humanitarian logistics and a comparative analysis, their mutual relationship is shown. Results: Based on the performed analysis, an explanation of the importance of studying logistics as a multidisciplinary science and pointing out the need for specific training of logistics personnel was given. Conclusion: Logistics is intensively developing in various fields depending on the goals of the system (organizational and technical) it supports. In general, commercial logistics is evolving faster than military logistics, and many innovative commercial logistics solutions are being deployed in military logistics. However, certain solutions that produce good results in the commercial sector do not produce adequate results in the military. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out research and study of the functioning of logistics systems in different fields and carefully integrate individual solutions into the military logistics system. As the most complex logistics system, military logistics requires specific staffing and training of logistics professionals.

ЛОГІСТИЧНА ДІЯЛЬНІСТЬ В СИСТЕМІ МАРКЕТИНГУ ТА ЗБУТУ ПРОДУКЦІЇ АГРАРНИХ ПІДПРИЄМСТВ

Introduction. The article emphasizes the importance of the role of the sales channels and the logistics system of the agricultural enterprise. This necessitates their improvement in order to en-sure marketing activities. Forms of product promotion are determined in accordance with economic content, economic and economic conditions of distribution, production and economic relations, place on the market. Choosing distribution channels is a difficult decision for the manufacturer, because of the need to take into account many aspects of the functioning of logistics systems. The purpose of scientific research is to determine the nature and role of logistic activity in the marketing and sailing of agricultural products. Results. The zero-distribution channel, which is most often used by producers in the activities of agricultural enterprises, is characterized. The conditions, under which it is appropriate to use this sales channel, are identified. The specifics of logistics activities and the relationship between the intermediary and the manufacturer are outlined. The essence of two-level and three-level sales channels is characterized, their participants are defined and the conditions for effective interaction between them. The factors that influence the choice of direct or indirect channel of interaction between producer and consumer are systematized. The logistics system and distribution channels are identified as one of the most important components in ensuring the competitiveness of agricultural products. The role and essence of marketing communications in the process of logistic activity of agricultural enterprises is established. The effectiveness of Internet communications, including information portals, is highlighted. The influence of state authorities on the logistic systems formation of agricultural enterprises in the process of products sale is determined. The essence of marketing infrastructure is outlined. Formation of grain marketing channels for logistic activity of domestic agricultural enterprises is proposed. The purpose of the sales department of the agricultural enterprise in its logistic activity is characterized. Conclusions. Logistics activities are important in the marketing of agricultural products. Domestic manufacturers need to consider a large number of factors to determine the feasibility of using different types of distribution channels in the logistics system. Improvement of logistic activity of agrarian enterprise is the key to maintaining the proper level of competitiveness of its products. Last-Mile Delivery for Consumer Driven Logistics

Abstract Nowadays, one of the main tasks of logistics is the effective movement of material flow from the producer to the end user. Modern scientific methods are devoted to solving various problems at different stages of the logistics system. But, at the same time, the efficiency of the functioning of logistics systems on last mile delivery is considered isolated to the problems of increasing the overall efficiency including the end-consumer. There is an interaction between the costs of material flow distribution, consumer expenses and traffic flow movement costs in the city related to purchases. The demand influence on distribution channel of material flows in logistics systems is presented. The proposed approach can be used for evaluating a logistics system’s overall efficiency considering the demand. Practical advice for improving logistics systems according to consumer’s influence are given.

ANALYSIS OF LEGAL FORMS STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS OF GRAIN LOGISTICS

The article analyzes some aspects of the development of vertically integrated structure of the grainsub analyzed national experience of these sub grain structures are considered the most common model ofintegrated units of the grain market. In modern terms, «integration» becomes multifunctional character and isused to describe the various spheres of economic reality. The analysis of organizational and economic conditions for the functioning of logistics systems in sub zernoproduktov, defined functional areas of logistics inzernoproduktov subdivision. It is proved that each specific functional areas is the result of the transformationprocesses in the economy or start-ups to meet the business interests of their respective owners. The Role of Consumers in Logistics Systems

Abstract Nowadays, one of the main functions of logistics is material flow distribution from the producer to the final consumer. Modern scientific methods and models pay attention to numerous tasks at different stages of the logistics system. But, simultaneously, the efficiency of interaction of logistics systems is considered in isolated form not taking into consideration the problems of improving the efficiency of the whole society. Meanwhile, there is a connection between the expenses of trade organizations, industrial enterprises and consumers. This leads to the need to take into account the consumer’s component in the logistics system. The development of logistics approach based on consumer’s profit-loss opens new opportunities to improve the service and the efficiency of the logistics system. Influence of consumer on the efficiency of functioning of logistics system is examined in the article; interaction of logistics system and consumer is defined; prerequisites that determine the need to take into account consumers in the design of logistics systems are disclosed; models that allow determining the integrated effectiveness of their interaction are proposed.
