Implementation of Islamic Religious Education Courses at the Center for the Implementation of Personality Formation Courses (PP-MPK) Universitas Sriwijaya, Indonesia

Islamic religious education has an important role in shaping the character and morals of students in higher education. The implementation of religious education aims to create a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent, but also has strong moral and spiritual integrity. In Indonesia, the implementation of religious education is strengthened by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education. The method in this research uses qualitative methods with content analysis techniques. This student character formation course aims to instill noble values and build strong personalities in students. The implementation of learning material is carried out face-to-face in lecture classes and through e-learning. Islamic Religious Education at PP-MPK Sriwijaya University is a mandatory course which aims to equip students with a broad knowledge base, develop critical thinking skills, and shape student character. This course covers various topics related to Islamic teachings and is implemented through face-to-face, virtual face-to-face and via e-learning methods. The implementation of Islamic religious lectures is not only carried out in the classroom but is also carried out at the Al Ghazali Mosque on the Palembang and Indralaya campuses. In addition to promoting activities at the campus mosque, this activity aims to put into practice the learning of the theory that has been obtained in the classroom, so that students can later put it into practice. learning outcomes into the real world.

Improving Students' Social Emotional Abilities Through PKN Subjects in Class X of SMAN 14 Medan

This research was written with the aim of finding out the influence of PKN learning on the development and character formation of students through improving social emotional abilities as outlined in the material on the Position of Pancasila as the Foundation of the State, View of Life and State Ideology. The background to this research is that there are learning problems caused by teachers' lack of attention to students' affective development, which hinders progress in other aspects, namely students' cognitive and psychomotor skills, the lack of students' social-emotional abilities in the classroom resulting in disharmony between students and other students. between students and teachers. These problems appear when learning is taking place, students show attitudes that are oriented towards the problem of low social emotional abilities, such as students not showing optimal self-confidence, when asked questions, students are just silent and sometimes answer with answers that are stuck to the book and lack confidence, then students do not dare to be themselves but are more fixated and less creatively active in carrying out learning activities, students are less independent in solving the problems they are given, when there are problems between fellow students the students tend to be apathetic and lack good social sense, and students lack of courage to take decisions and take responsibility. This was seen when given the order to choose a group leader, no one dared to volunteer and had to be appointed first by the teacher. The solution to these problems is provided in this research, namely by taking a social emotional learning approach to students through PKN subjects using a chain whisper game so that students can build character according to good social emotional skills. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of research being Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles, and each cycle has two meetings with a total of 2 cycles totaling 4 meetings, each cycle is arranged in stages namely Planning, Implementing Action, Observation and Reflection. The subjects in this research were class The results in this research were that there was a good and significant increase, where the results obtained were good with achievements passing the threshold category of 80%. Based on the data obtained above, it can be concluded that efforts to improve students' social emotional abilities have increased significantly, initially the total average at the first meeting of the first cycle was 54%, increasing to 77% and in the second cycle the initial value was 76% to 84%.. The results obtained show that the research has passed the success category limit of 80% with the final result being 84% with Good status.

Fostering Islamic Leadership Skills in Students Through Training Activities

Background: Qualitative research focuses on naturalistic and phenomenological observations to explore complex issues. Specific Background: This study investigates the leadership development of high school students in the Basic Leadership Training (LDKS) program through direct observation. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies lack in-depth analysis of LDKS's specific processes and effectiveness in shaping students' leadership character. Aims: The research aims to uncover the effectiveness of LDKS by observing participant activities and interactions. Results: Findings indicate that LDKS enhances key leadership qualities such as communication, teamwork, decision-making, and responsibility through structured activities and peer learning. Social media is a social structure that comes from individuals and organizations that are bound by the similarity of its users. Social media is an online media that is used as a means of social interaction online on the internet. On social media, users can interact with each other, communicate, share networking and various other activities online. Social media is made to meet human requirements because humans as social beings, are created to socialize. Because the development of the era is increasingly advanced, the main purpose of which is to facilitate users of social media so that they can connect with someone in one country, even between countries or between continents, making it easy for users to socialize. However, in today's modern era, social media does not only function as usual, it turns out that social media has influences on the character education of students who use it. Talking about strengthening the formation of student character through character education in the current context is very relevant to overcoming the moral crisis that is happening, especially in schools. Whether it is recognized or not, there is currently a real crisis that is worrying in the school environment involving students.

Membentuk Karakter Siswa Melalui Pembelajaran Seni Rupa di SMP Islam Pacet

This research aims to examine the role of fine arts learning in character formation of students at Pacet Islamic Middle School using a neuroaesthetic approach. Fine art is not only seen as a medium for visual expression, but also as a means of cognitive and emotional development that contributes to the formation of positive characters, such as creativity, discipline, cooperation and responsibility. A neuroaesthetic approach is used to understand how students' brains respond to aesthetic stimuli in the art learning process and how these experiences influence the development of moral and ethical values. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects involved class VIII students at Pacet Islamic Middle School. The research results show that fine arts learning is able to stimulate students' character development through various creative and aesthetic activities. Visual stimulation provided through fine art media influences brain functions related to emotion and cognition, which in turn facilitates the formation of better character. The conclusion of this research is that fine arts as part of education not only improves students' aesthetic abilities, but also makes a significant contribution to the formation of their character. Therefore, fine arts learning should be integrated more deeply into the educational curriculum to optimize student potential, both in terms of academics and character formation.

Penanaman Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk Pembentukan Karakter Siswa di SD Alam Hayuba Wlahar Wetan Kecamatan Kalibagor Banyumas

This research aims to reveal: firstly an overview of character education, secondly to explain the forms of strategies used by schools in instilling character education values. The research method used in this research is a qualitative type of research, where data collection is carried out through documentation, interviews and observation. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, namely: collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and concluding. To test the validity of the data, credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability tests were carried out. The results of the research reveal findings regarding: (1) the description and form of character education at SD Alam Hayuba Wlahar Wetan, this can be seen from the values ​​developed at the school, namely: religious values, discipline, responsibility, honesty, love of the environment, passion reading, and creative. (2) strategies used by schools and teachers in instilling educational character values, namely: role model strategy, foster care methods, enforcement of discipline, habituation activities, as well as integrity and internalization. the importance of every PAI teacher being an actor in character education in schools, manifested in systematic strategies and programs. The instilling of PAI values ​​at Alam Hayuba Elementary School contributes significantly to the formation of student character. Students show improvements in aspects of morals, discipline, responsibility and cooperation. A holistic approach and a supportive environment are key factors in the success of this program.

REVIEW OF EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY: A CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PANCASILA PROFILES IN THE SCHOOL CURRICULUM

This study explores the implementation of the Pancasila Profile in the school curriculum through the perspective of a review of educational philosophy. Pancasila, as the foundation of the Indonesian state, has a central role in shaping the character and morality of the younger generation. The focus of this research is on a critical analysis of how the values of Pancasila are reflected and integrated in the structure of the formal education curriculum. The research method uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through literature analysis, interviews with teachers, and observation of educational practices in selected schools. The context of the implementation of the Pancasila Profile involves an understanding of the way Pancasila values are articulated in curriculum objectives, education policies, and implementation strategies at the national and local levels. The results showed that the implementation of the Pancasila Profile had a significant impact on the formation of student character and the integration of Pancasila values in learning. However, challenges such as resistance to change and inconsistent understanding of Pancasila values were also identified as aspects that needed attention. This research contributes to an in-depth understanding of how educational philosophy plays a key role in shaping the implementation of the Pancasila Profile. These findings provide a basis for recommendations for improvement and development of education policies that are more effective in making Pancasila values a key pillar in formal education. The implications of this research can help direct steps towards a more sustainable education system and in accordance with the spirit of Pancasila as a moral guide for Indonesia's young generation.

PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN KARISMATIK KIYAI DAN BUDAYA ORGANISASI DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER SANTRI DI PONDOK PESANTREN AL-AMIN PARENDUAN KABUPATEN SUMENEP

The aim of the research is to determine the factors that can influence the character of students. The population in this study was 8,086 students at the Al-Amien Perenduen Islamic Boarding School, Sumenep Regency. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, so that a sample of 100 students was obtained. This research is quantitative research using the variabels kiyai leadership style (X1) and organizational culture (X2) as independen variabels. Meanwhile, the student character variabel (Y) is the dependent variabel. This research uses primary data by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The primary data obtained was then analyzed using SPSS. The data analysis techniques used include data quality testing, classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research show that the kiyai's leadership style and organizational culture on the character of the students at the Al-Amien Perenduen Islamic Boarding School, Sumenep Regency, have a very strong or very high correlation. The kiyai's leadership style and organizational culture have an influence of 65.61% on the character formation of students at the Al-Amien Perenduen Islamic Boarding School, Sumenep Regency.

The purpose of this research is to examine the effectiveness of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in character formation of students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that character formation is very effective through the strategy of habituating attitudes, activities, and rules that serve as references in the school environment. Character is also formed through the example of teachers as role models for students. The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum can significantly shape students' character through habituation and exemplary behavior. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of the role of schools and teachers in shaping students' character with integrity.

Impact of Improving Discipline of Vocational School Students Post Field Work Practice Program (PKL)

The lack of discipline of post-PKL students at vocational schools requires genuine efforts to maintain academic achievement and preparation for the world of work. This research aims to determine efforts to improve the discipline of vocational school students after the PKL program at SMK MUH 1 Sukoharjo—descriptive qualitative research using the Miles & Huberman method. Data was obtained through non-participant interviews, direct observation, and documentation studies of students, teachers, and SMK MUH 1 Sukoharjo staff. Data analysis includes data reduction, presentation, and conclusion to understand efforts to improve student discipline after PKL. The research found that the PKL program at SMK MUH 1 Sukoharjo was a strategic step in improving student discipline. This can be seen from an increased understanding of discipline application of disciplinary values, to positive changes in students' attitudes and behavior. This positive impact is not only felt in daily life at school but also leads to a significant increase in academic achievement. The PKL program at SMK MUH 1 Sukoharjo has succeeded in creating a learning environment that supports the holistic formation of student character and discipline. In conclusion, the PKL program at SMK MUH 1 Sukoharjo has succeeded in proving its effectiveness in improving student discipline, as seen by increasing understanding of the concept of discipline, application of values, to positive changes in student attitudes and behavior, as well as positive changes in student attitudes and behavior—significant increase in academic achievement.

The research method is qualitative with a qualitative-phenomenological approach. The subject of this activity is vocational college students who are determined by purposive sampling. The object of the research is students with their daily drivers in the form of gadgets. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, the data was analyzed with the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results of this activity are in the form of an important role in adding elements of religious values for students as the main foundation of national values and parameters of religious norms that synergize and are introduced in every lecture to produce Muslim students who are pioneers of change and overcome the problems of the state and nation.

This research aims to discuss educational management's role in improving graduates' quality through character education at MA Al Qodiri Jember and MBI Amantul Ummah Pacet Mojokerto. The discussion reveals the concepts and implications of the role of educational management in the context of two Islamic boarding school-based schools using multi-site qualitative research methods. Data was obtained through closed interviews, documentation, and discussion forums to fulfill the research, and then the data was analyzed through triangulation. Educational management at both schools plays a crucial role in emphasizing student character formation. Developing a curriculum oriented towards character education and implementing character education programs is the main focus in producing graduates who are academically superior and have good character. With a directed and integrated approach, MA Al Qodiri Jember and MBI Amantul Ummah Pacet Mojokerto emphasized that character education is not just an addition but the essence of education itself, which forms quality individuals who are ready to contribute positively to society. Character formation in students is a crucial aspect of modern education, with teachers serving as primary role models. This study aims to analyze the impact of teacher exemplarity on student character development and identify effective strategies for its implementation. Using a qualitative approach, the study combines literature analysis with in-depth interviews of 15 teachers and 30 students from various educational levels. Results indicate that teacher exemplarity significantly impacts student character formation, particularly in aspects of integrity, discipline, empathy, and work ethic. Effective strategies include consistency between words and actions, positive attitudes in facing problems, and respectful interactions. Key challenges include social pressure and time constraints. The research concludes that teacher exemplarity plays a vital role in creating a conducive learning environment and shaping positive student character. These findings imply the need for enhanced teacher professional development programs focusing on exemplarity aspects and the integration of character values into school curricula.

This research aims to analyze the influence of the full day school system on learning motivation and character formation of students at SD Nasima Semarang. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with data collection through questionnaires given to students and teachers. The research results show that the implementation of the full day school system has a positive impact on student learning motivation, which is characterized by increased interest and participation in learning activities. Apart from that, this system also plays a significant role in forming student character, such as discipline, responsibility and cooperation. However, there are several challenges that need to be considered, such as student fatigue and the need for varied teaching methods. Application of the Wordwall Application in Social Studies Learning to Develop Independent Character in Elementary School Students

The independence of students in elementary schools is considered to be still low, because many students are still dependent on teachers for learning, and friends who are more brilliant in doing questions. The culture of cheating when taking exam questions reflects that students do not have confidence in their abilities. This research aims to provide a description of the use of the Wordwall application as a learning medium for Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in cultivating the independent character of students in elementary schools. Researchers used descriptive qualitative research with data sources from interviews, observation and documentation. The data obtained was then narrated to get a general overview of the application of the Wordwall application in cultivating the independent character of Bustanul Ulum Islamic Elementary School students. The results of the research show that there is a change in attitude that occurs after using learning media in the form of the Wordwall application. Changes can be seen from students' activeness during the learning process, and the reduced habit of asking more brilliant friends when doing questions and exams. Educators are expected to be able to innovate and think creatively with existing features as alternative learning media to achieve learning goals, one of which is the formation of student character.

Development of Pop-Up Book Media based on Heroic Values in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

This research aims to develop innovative learning media in the form of a Pop-Up Book based on heroic values for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The research results show that the Pop-Up Book media developed is valid and suitable for use in learning with a validity level of 88%. Implementation on 13 class V students at MI Nurul Hidayah Prajekan Bondowoso showed a positive response with an acceptance rate of 86.15%. This media not only increases students' interest and understanding of the subject matter, but is also effective in instilling moral values such as courage, sacrifice and patriotism. Teacher training in the use of this media is very necessary to optimize its use in the learning process. Further research is recommended to develop other moral value-based learning media and evaluate the long-term impact of using Pop-Up Book media on student character formation.

The Implementation of Moral Character Education in SD Tunas Metropolitan

This research aims to determine the implementation of character education in elementary schools in SD Tunas Metropolitan. Character education has recently become the subject of public debate regarding its implementation and the loss of character values such as honesty, courtesy, friendliness and religiosity which is gradually becoming an erosion of foreign culture. Hopefully this research can be a reference in building and implementing character education in elementary schools and the community. The type of research used was qualitative research conducted at SD Tunas Metropolitan. Primary data was collected from the results of in-depth interviews with key informants, namely: the principal, deputy principal, principal and students. After the data is collected, it is then analyzed using inductive techniques with the following steps: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this research are that student character formation can be done through internal strategies and external strategies. Internal strategies can be implemented through four activities, namely activities in the teaching and learning process, daily activities in the form of school culture, habit formation activities, and internal and external activities. Meanwhile, external strategies can be implemented through the family environment and community environment. If all these strategies can be implemented well, the student's personality will be formed firmly.

Analysis of Teachers' Difficulties in Instilling the Character of Discipline and Responsibility of Elementary School Students After Covid 19

Learning is now changing to face-to-face learning after previously being carried out online for more than a year during the COVID-19 pandemic. Direct learning after the pandemic has greatly affected the formation of student character, especially in terms of responsibility and discipline. This descriptive qualitative research aims to explain the difficulties and solutions of teachers in instilling discipline and responsibility values in students at SD Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta after the COVID-19 pandemic. The resource person was a grade II teacher of SD Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity tests are performed using data source triangulation techniques and method triangulation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the research found by researchers can be concluded that: first, there are difficulty factors that hinder teachers in an effort to instill discipline character education and responsibility in students, including: lack of student learning motiivation, diverse student characters, situations and conditions of the new normal period, student absorption, lack of cooperation between parents and educators. Evaluation of Scout Activities as a Means of Character Formation at the Junior High School Level: An Analytical Review

This research aims to find out: the context of Scout Extracurriculars in shaping student character; input to Scout Extracurriculars in shaping student character; the process of Scout Extracurriculars in shaping student character; and projects for Scout Extracurriculars in shaping student character. This research uses evaluation research. Research activities to collect data and present accurate and objective information regarding Scout extracurriculars at SMP Negeri 35 Medan based on established criteria. The results of this evaluation research show that the context aspect shows that the character of Scout students has been implemented well, but the support from the preparation of Scout extracurricular activities and the input aspect have been implemented well with the components in scouting development and aspects of the process of forming the character of Scout students from the implementation of Scout extracurricular activities. Not yet fully included in the planning document, the product aspects of Scout student character formation in the implementation of the evaluation are carried out only independently based on the coach's observations. The usefulness of the results of this evaluation will direct coaches to realize complex learning outcomes and build growth in learning experiences for students.
