On October 15, 2021, at the St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, as part of the activities of the scientific school «Administrative and administrative-procedural activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia», the annual international scientific and practical conference «Actual problems of legislative regulation of migration processes on the territory of the CIS member states» was held , where they exchanged views on problematic issues of legislative regulation of migration processes, administrative and jurisdictional activities of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation in the field of migration, on theoretical and applied problems of improving legislation on administrative offenses in the migration sphere, on ensuring security and public order, improving police and other law enforcement activities, as well as the results of the conference were summed up. The conference became the next stage in the consideration and discussion of the scientific and theoretical foundations of the legal regulation of migration processes on the territory of the Russian Federation and made it possible to compare the scientific doctrine with the practical activities of the federal executive authorities of the region, non-profit, public organizations in matters of law enforcement in the field of migration and migration policy. During the discussion of the issue on the agenda, the conference participants exchanged views and experience on improving legislative regulation, finding effective forms and methods for regulating migration processes on the territory of the CIS member states, experience in law enforcement activities on migration issues and strengthening scientific and practical ties between employees of territorial bodies Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, educational, scientific organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, regional non-profit and public organizations. The conference was attended by representatives of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Ghana, the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe.
