Implementasi Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Siswa

The aim of this research is to develop a learning model that can improve student achievement. Analyzing the effectiveness of the problem-based learning model (PBM) can improve student achievement higher than the previous learning outcomes that do not use PBL learning models in SD Negeri Kagok 01 Slawi District, Tegal Regency. Knowing the form of support from the principal, other teachers and facilities in the implementation of the PBM learning model. The target of this research is expected to find empirical data and facts is the desired product of this research and development in the form of PBM learning models. The research method will be implemented namely Field Prasurvey (factual model), collecting data relating to: (a) students; (b) teaching and learning process; (c) teacher and (d) facilities and environment. The draft model (a) design of the model, consists of formulating competencies, determining material, and preparing lesson plans, determining methods, media, and evaluation; (b) Application of the model by conducting a pre test. (c). Application of the model by conducting a post test. (d). Conduct analysis by comparing pre test and post test scores with t tests. From the results of calculations with the t test obtained, the empirical t test is greater than the t test in the table, so it is concluded that the PBM model is more effective.

The Implementation of ADDIE Model in Developing Career Guidance Program in Senior High School

The research aims to reveal the factual design and conceptual design of the preparation of career guidance programs at Pontianak 3 State Senior High School. Sixty twelve grade science students and two guidance and counseling teachers were also the subjects of the survey. Quantitative data were obtained using questionnaires as main data and interviews as additional data. The results of data processing show that most of the assessment needs have been carried out in a high category. However, the response of the guidance and counseling (BK) teacher stated that there were still weaknesses in the factual model of the preparation of the BK program in the field of career guidance including the principal, homeroom teacher and subject teacher had not been involved in the preparation of the BK program. So this finding is the basis for the preparation of the conceptual design of career guidance programs, that the involvement of principals, homerooms and subject teachers has been apparent in the process of developing a career guidance program.

The purpose of this study is to: (1) analyze the factual model conditions, (2) designing a model of authentic assessment, (3) determine the validity of the model of authentic assessment and (4) assessing the practical of the final model of authentic assessment of learning process in elementary school of Margasari, Tegal. The method used is the Research and Development (R & D), which consists of the preliminary study stage, stage of development and evaluation phase. Respondents are teachers. The model is validated by experts and practitioners with Delphi technique. Quantitative descriptive technique is applied to test Practicality of model that measures the ease aspects of the use models and benefits by giving questionnaires to the respondents to the teachers as users of the product. The results showed that: (1) the factual model condition of authentic assessment is still prioritizing aspects of knowledge as the basis of assessment, (2) the design of assessment model used authentic assessment based on the planning, implementation, and processing, (3) the validity of the authentic assessment model consists of validity learning device and assessment instruments. The validity of the learning device has a validity rate of 76.25% (good), while the validity of assessment instruments have a validity rate of 86% (excellent) and (4) practical authentic assessment models used in the assessment of Elementary School seen from the response of good teachers amounted to 89.8% (very practical).

Pengembangan Pelatihan Paten Untuk Meningkatkan Kinerja Camat Dalam Melaksanakan Program Pelayanan Administrasi Terpadu Kecamatan

Kecamatan integrated administration service training (patent) aims to improve the operational quality of patents. This study aims to analyze the factual model, design a hypothetical model and develop a patent training model in order to improve the performance of the camat in leading the implementation of patents. The research method is research and development. Data collection techniques include documentation studies, observations, interviews, and questionnaires, data validity is done with reliability, validity, and triangulation of data, while data analysis techniques use qualitative, quantitative and experimental models. The results showed that the factual model of needs analysis, training planning and target material was only for the staff of the district apparatus. Based on the factual model, a hypothetical model is included: (1) planning oriented to improving the performance of the subdistrict head; (2) implementation: following general and specific learning objectives and actual issues, success stories and (3) control: at the end of the training pre-test and post-training are conducted. Then the final model of patent training was developed to improve the performance of the subdistrict head. Conclusion: Patent development training can improve one's managerial ability, managerial skills: a) Technical skills, b) Skills in human relationships and c) Conceptual skills. Research Implications: The Central Java Provincial Government conducted a more in-depth study of training needs to strengthen the delivery of public services in realizing good governance. Districts always create innovations to improve better public services.

Pengembangan Model Kemitraan Sekolah Dengan Orang Tua Melalui Media Sosial Dalam Peningkatan Mutu Berbasis Sekolah di Sekolah Menengah Swasta

<p>The purpose of this research is to analyze the factual model of school partnership with parents through social media in school-based quality improvement management in SMA Kristen 1 Salatiga and result in the development of school partnership model with parents through social media in school-based quality improvement management in private high schools. It is Research and Development (R & D) research. Data collection techniques used interviews and documentation studies. The development phase is done through (1) Potential and Problem, (2) Data Collection, (3) Product Design, (4) Design Validation, and (5) Design Repair. The results showed that SMA Kristen 1 Salatiga had run the family education program quite well. Several activities in the family education program at the school has been implemented before the schools get funding from the government partnership program. Schools have also begun to seek the use of social media as a means of strengthening communication with parents and other stakeholders, but nevertheless in its development in the field of management has not been maximized. The researchers also found no model formulated by the school associated with this family education program because the new school programmed the partnership into a family education program within one year. The product of this research is a school partnership model with parents through social media at a private high school equipped with guides for the implementing parties.</p>

PENGEMBANGAN MODEL MANAJEMEN PELATIHAN DAN PENGEMBANGAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER BERLOKUS PADEPOKAN KARAKTER

This research develops a model of characteristic training and character education management to produce academic, profession, and vocational (potential teacher and teacher) teachers who have superior competence in disseminating noble character of the nation. By using Researh & Development approach, this research uses Padepokan Character locus PPKn FIS Unnes Department. The subjects of the study were the newly graduated Unnes students, the young teachers in Semarang City and Central Java Province. The factual model of training management and the development of character education that runs so far contains weaknesses in various aspects, from planning, implementation, to evaluation of activities. On the basis of the analysis of a number of weaknesses of the factual model is then carried out the reconstruction of the conceptual model departs from the review of ethical factors and emotic factors. Conceptual model is then refined again by accommodating the results of focus group discussion with the stake holders and utilize the potential and resources owned by the character padepokan Unnes Political Education and Citizenship. This model has incorporated various aspects of the training, from the refinement of the factual model greed, the consideration of ethical factors and the emotional factors, as well as the aspirations and needs of the stake holders, so it is feasible to experiment in the wider domain.

Defining Miscarriages of Justice in the Context of Post 9/11 Counter Terrorism

This paper examines a number of different definitions of miscarriages of justice including a broad and influential definition provided by Clive Walker in the 1990’s that extends miscarriages of justice well beyond factual innocence or even wrongful convictions to include a variety of rights violations and unjust laws. It argues that Walker’s definition applies well to post 9/11 counter-terrorism. Moreover, it raises troubling questions for both criminalization strategies and the use of various alternatives to the criminal law including military and immigration detention and targeted killing. Nevertheless the paper concludes that a Walker’s broad rights based approach to understanding miscarriages of justice has not been embraced in common consciousness. It suggests that the best examples of post 9/11 recognitions of miscarriages of justice fit more closely a more limited factual innocence model that is unsuited to apply to modern terrorism prosecutions and most other forms of modern counter-terrorism. It also concludes that this factual innocence model has focused on innocent rendition victims and innocent victims of targeted killed and has not yet produced recognized wrongful convictions such as the famous Irish wrongful convictions recognized before 9/11 and this raises questions whether post 9/11 counter-terrorism offences have defined innocence out of existence.

Estimating model evidence using data assimilation

We review the field of data assimilation (DA) from a Bayesian perspective and show that, in addition to its by now common application to state estimation, DA may be used for model selection. An important special case of the latter is the discrimination between a factual model–which corresponds, to the best of the modeller's knowledge, to the situation in the actual world in which a sequence of events has occurred–and a counterfactual model, in which a particular forcing or process might be absent or just quantitatively different from the actual world. Three different ensemble‐DA methods are reviewed for this purpose: the ensemble Kalman filter (EnKF), the ensemble four‐dimensional variational smoother (En‐4D‐Var), and the iterative ensemble Kalman smoother (IEnKS). An original contextual formulation of model evidence (CME) is introduced. It is shown how to apply these three methods to compute CME, using the approximated time‐dependent probability distribution functions (pdfs) each of them provide in the process of state estimation. The theoretical formulae so derived are applied to two simplified nonlinear and chaotic models: (i) the Lorenz three‐variable convection model (L63), and (ii) the Lorenz 40‐variable midlatitude atmospheric dynamics model (L95). The numerical results of these three DA‐based methods and those of an integration based on importance sampling are compared. It is found that better CME estimates are obtained by using DA, and the IEnKS method appears to be best among the DA methods. Differences among the performance of the three DA‐based methods are discussed as a function of model properties. Finally, the methodology is implemented for parameter estimation and for event attribution.

Padepokan Karakter: Model of Character Development

<p>This study was aimed at describing the portraits of the factual management model of character reinforcement applied nowadays, developing the hypothetical management model of character reinforcement in Padepokan Karakter or a character hermitage. This research was conducted under research and development approaches. The subjects of this research were the informants (students, lecturers, teachers, school principals), documents, and events. The data were collected through interviews, observations, documentations, considerations of specialists and practitioners, focused group discussions, and questionnaires. The results indicated that the factual model of character reinforcement was done by integrating characters on subjects described in the functions of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The development of management models of character reinforcement recommended in this research was managed through the function of planning, organizing, implementing and controlling the characters in the character hermitage. The device of character reinforcement available in the character hermitage was effective and influential to reinforce the students ‘ character.</p>

Rozumowanie per analogiam w prawie precedensowym: reguła, konkurencja, poszukiwanie i uzasadnienie dla korzystania z analogii

The article addresses some of the specific issues that concern reasoning by analogy in the context of precedential law. It specifically touches on such questions as the necessity of the mediation of a general rule (norm) in an analogical pattern of inference, ways of resolving conflicts between competing analogies, the process of searching for potential analogies as well as the reasons for applying judicial precedents in concrete instances by recourse to analogy. The latter is done against the background of the merits and demerits of the so-called rule-based model of judicial precedent and its core notion: ratio decidendi . All the aforementioned issues have been analysed from the perspective of two basic approaches to analogical reasoning in precedential law – i.e. the factual and rational model of legal analogy, which have been described in the previous article. The analyses take into account the stances and opinions of leading past and contemporary logicians, philosophers and legal theorists mainly, but not exclusively, from Anglo-Saxon countries.

Holistic Academic Supervision Model for Cultural Art Teachers of Vocational High Schools

<p>This study is aiming at (1) describing and analyzing the current implementation of academic supervision (factual model), (2) generating and analyzing academic supervision model as needed (hypothetical model), and (3) identifying and analyzing the effectiveness of a holistic model of academic supervision (the final model). The method employed in this research was the Research and Development (R&D) method, which was divided into three phases: a preliminary study, stage of development and evaluation stages. The data sources were the school superintendents, teachers, as well as students. Further, the data were collected by conducting interviews, questionnaires, and observations. Results showed that the current implementation of academic supervision was considered less effective. The academic supervision which is considered as appropriate for cultural art teachers is a holistic academic supervision. It involves school superintendents and cultural art teachers who are supervised, starting from the planning stage up to the follow-up stage, so that, a good relationship between them will be established. It is concluded in this study that a holistic academic supervision model is effective to enhance the professional competence of cultural art teachers.</p>

This approach can reduce the level of vibration and noise.

The first account has been named “factual model” and the second “rational model”. This terminology was adopted due to the fact that the judgment of similarity within the factual model is deemed to be a direct result of the very facts of the cases being compared, or of the unfathomed mystical workings of human intuition (emotions) or the outcome desired for the case at hand. The rational model in turn is based upon the notion of precedential reasons and casual facts, which are the facts that are relevant in the light of such reasons. Dependence upon these two notions makes the rational model more predictable and explicable. In certain circumstances, however, analogy to proceeds needs here some additional factors which do not stem from the gist of this model. The factual model, unpredictable though it may seem to be, is faster and apt to provide us with just, or socially desirable, conclusions, especially when utilized by person of a great legal knowledge and experience. Two other possible accounts of analogical reasoning in precedential law, i.e. principle-based model and proportional model, have been rebutted. The reason is: a lack of analogical pattern of thinking involved and serious difficulties in its legal application respectively.

Models of Public Theology*

Abstract In this article, different models of public theology are characterized according to the reasons given for the importance of and need for a public theology (foundational models) and the ways proposed for its realization (action models). There are three emphases of identified foundations: the first understands public theology as a task driven by God (model of disclosure); the second anchors the need for public theology in religious questions that affect all of humanity (universal model); the third bases itself on the finding of the public presence of religious discourse in contemporary society (factual model). With regards to the prospects for action, three principal ways are identified, which affirm the possibility of the publicization of theology: addressing different audiences, such as the academy and the church (model of the audience); articulating itself through a style and an accessible form of argument (apologetic model); addressing contextual challenges (contextual model).

Neuro-Kinematics Based Dexterous Robotics Hand Force Optimization

The complexity of computing appropriate distribution of manipulation forces among fingers of a four-fingered robot hand defined in a dynamically Task-Space coordinate task is addressed. Finger-object interactions are modelled as point frictional contacts, consequently, the system is indeterminate. Hence, an optimal solution does necessitate for controlling forces acting on a grasped object. A fast and efficient method for computing optimal grasping and manipulation forces is presented based on a quadratic optimisation formulation, where computation has been based on using the nonlinear factual model of contacts. Furthermore, in order to achieve grasping while in motion, the hand inverse Jacobian has to be intensively computed, consequently, we investigate an efficient approach of employing an artificial neural network for the multi-finger robot hand in which the object motion is defined in. The approach followed here is to let an ANN to learn the nonlinear inverse kinematics functional relating the hand joints positions and displacements to object displacement. This is done by considering the inverse hand Jacobian, in addition to the interaction between hand fingers and the object being grasped and manipulated.

Oleic acid coating on the monodisperse magnetite nanoparticles

Monodisperse magnetite nanoparticles provide a more factual model to study the interface interactions between the surfactants and magnetic nanoparticles. Monodisperse magnetite nanoparticles of 7 and 19 nm coated with oleic acid (OA) were prepared by the seed-mediated high temperature thermal decomposition of iron(III) acetylacetonate (Fe(acac) 3) precursor method. Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) reveal that the OA molecules were adsorbed on the magnetic nanoparticles by chemisorption way. Analyses of transmission electron microscopy (TEM) shows the OA provided the particles with better isolation and dispersibility. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) measurement results suggest that there were two kinds of different binding energies between the OA molecules and the magnetic nanoparticles. The cover density of OA molecules on the particle surface was significantly various with the size of magnetite nanoparticles. Magnetic measurements of the magnetite nanoparticles show the surface coating reduced the interactions among the nanoparticles.
