Some Results of Extended Beta Function and Hypergeometric Functions by Using Wiman’s Function

The main aim of this research paper is to introduce a new extension of the Gauss hypergeometric function and confluent hypergeometric function by using an extended beta function. Some functional relations, summation relations, integral representations, linear transformation formulas, and derivative formulas for these extended functions are derived. We also introduce the logarithmic convexity and some important inequalities for extended beta function.

Extensions of beta and related functions

In this paper, we introduce and investigate a new extension of the beta function by means of an integral operator involving a product of Bessel-Struve kernel functions. We also define a new extension of the well-known beta distribution, the Gauss hypergeometric function and the confluent hypergeometric function in terms of our extended beta function. In addition, some useful properties of these extended functions are also indicated in a systematic way.

Some Inequalities of Extended Hypergeometric Functions

Hypergeometric functions and their inequalities have found frequent applications in various fields of mathematical sciences. Motivated by the above, we set up certain inequalities including extended type Gauss hypergeometric function and confluent hypergeometric function, respectively, by virtue of Hölder integral inequality and Chebyshev’s integral inequality. We also studied the monotonicity, log-concavity, and log-convexity of extended hypergeometric functions, which are derived by using the inequalities on an extended beta function.

New extension of beta, Gauss and confluent hypergeometric functions

There are many extensions and generalizations of Gamma and Beta functions in the literature. However, a new extension of the extended Beta function B_(ζ〖, α〗_1)^(α_2;〖 m〗_1,〖 m〗_2 ) (a_1,a_2 ) was introduced and presented here because of its important properties. The new extended Beta function has symmetric property, integral representations, Mellin transform, inverse Mellin transform and statistical properties like Beta distribution, mean, variance, moment and cumulative distribution which ware also presented. Finally, the new extended Gauss and Confluent Hypergeometric functions with their propertied were introduced and presented.

Extended elliptic-type integrals with associated properties and Tur\xe1n-type inequalities

Our aim is to study and investigate the family of (p, q)-extended (incomplete and complete) elliptic-type integrals for which the usual properties and representations of various known results of the (classical) elliptic integrals are extended in a simple manner. This family of elliptic-type integrals involves a number of special cases and has a connection with (p, q)-extended Gauss’ hypergeometric function and (p, q)-extended Appell’s double hypergeometric function F_{1}. Turán-type inequalities including log-convexity properties are proved for these (p, q)-extended complete elliptic-type integrals. Further, we establish various Mellin transform formulas and obtain certain infinite series representations containing Laguerre polynomials. We also obtain some relationship between these (p, q)-extended elliptic-type integrals and Meijer G-function of two variables. Moreover, we obtain several connections with (p, q)-extended beta function as special values and deduce numerous differential and integral formulas. In conclusion, we introduce (p, q)-extension of the Epstein–Hubbell (E-H) elliptic-type integral.

An Extension of Beta Function by Using Wiman’s Function

The main purpose of this paper is to study extension of the extended beta function by Shadab et al. by using 2-parameter Mittag-Leffler function given by Wiman. In particular, we study some functional relations, integral representation, Mellin transform and derivative formulas for this extended beta function.

ON A NEW GENERALIZED BETA FUNCTION DEFINED BY THE GENERALIZED WRIGHT FUNCTION AND ITS APPLICATIONS

Various extensions of classical gamma, beta, Gauss hypergeometric and confluent hypergeometric functions have been proposed recently by many researchers. In this paper, we further generalized extended beta function with some of its properties such as symmetric properties, summation formulas, integral representations, connection with some other special functions such as classical beta, error, Mittag – Leffler, incomplete gamma, hypergeometric, classical Wright, Fox – Wright, Fox H and Meijer G – functions. Furthermore, the generalized beta function is used to generalize classical and other extended Gauss hypergeometric, confluent hypergeometric, Appell’s and Lauricella’s functions.

Integral transforms and probability distributions involving a generalized hypergeometric function

Abstract Various extensions of the beta function together with their associated extended hypergeometric and confluent hypergeometric functions have been introduced and investigated. In this paper, using the very recently contrived extended beta function, we aim to introduce an extension F v p , q ; λ ; σ , τ u {{}_{u}F_{v}^{p,q;\lambda;\sigma,\tau}} of the generalized hypergeometric function F v u {{}_{u}F_{v}} and investigate certain classes of transforms and several identities of a generalized probability distribution involving this extension. In fact, we present some interesting formulas of Jacobi, Gegenbauer, pathway, Laplace, and Legendre transforms of this extension multiplied by a polynomial. We also introduce a generalized probability distribution to investigate its several related properties. Further, we consider some special cases of our main results with an argument about the derived process of a known result.

On generalization of extended Gegenbauer polynomials of two variables

Recently, many extensions of some special functions are defined by using the extended Beta function. In this paper, we introduce a new generalization of extended Gegenbauer polynomials of two variables by using the extended Gamma function. Some properties of these generalized polynomials such as integral representation, recurrence relation and generating functions are obtained.

An extension of beta function, its statistical distribution, and associated fractional operator

Recently, various forms of extended beta function have been proposed and presented by many researchers. The principal goal of this paper is to present another expansion of beta function using Appell series and Lauricella function and examine various properties like integral representation and summation formula. Statistical distribution for the above extension of beta function has been defined, and the mean, variance, moment generating function and cumulative distribution function have been obtained. Using the newly defined extension of beta function, we build up the extension of hypergeometric and confluent hypergeometric functions and discuss their integral representations and differentiation formulas. Further, we define a new extension of Riemann–Liouville fractional operator using Appell series and Lauricella function and derive its various properties using the new extension of beta function.

Generalized Wright Function and Its Properties Using Extended Beta Function

Solving a linear partial differential equation witness a noteworthy role of Wright function. Due to its usefulness and various applications, a variety of its extentions (and generalizations) have been investigated and presented. The purpose and design of the paper is intended to study and come up with a new extention of the genralized Wright function by using generalized beta function and obtain some integral representation of the freshly defined function. Also we present the Mellin transform of this function in the form of Fox Wright function. Furthermore, we obtain the recurrence relation, derivative formula for the said function and also by using an extended Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative, we present a fractional derivative formula for the extended Wright function.

A NEW EXTENSION OF THE HURWITZ- LERCH ZETA FUNCTION AND PROPERTIES USING THE EXTENDED BETA FUNCTION \(B_{p,q}^{(ρ,σ,τ)}(x,y)\)

The purpose of present paper is to introduce a new extension of Hurwitz-Lerch Zeta function by using the extended Beta function. Some recurrence relations, generating relations and integral representations are derived for that new extension.

On a $$\psi $$-Generalized Fractional Derivative Operator of Riemann–Liouville with Some Applications

Various extended beta functions have been investigated by many researchers (Mubeen et al. in FJMS 102:1545–1557, 2017; Ozergin et al. in J Comput Appl Math 235:4601–4610, 2011; Parmar et al. in J Class Anal 11:91–106, 2017). Our aim in this paper is to develop $$\psi $$ -generalized Riemann Liouville fractional derivative operator by using $$\psi $$ -generalized beta function. We also present some new results on $$\psi $$ -generalized beta function and introduce some integral representations of $$\psi $$ -generalized hypergeometric functions. Moreover, we establish fractional derivative formulas of some known functions and discuss the properties of Mellin transform. Further we discuss some applications based on generating relation for the $$\psi $$ -generalized hypergeometric functions with the help of new $$\psi $$ -generalized Riemann–Liouville fractional derivative operator.

A (p,ν)-extension of Srivastava’s triple hypergeometric function HC

We obtain a (p,?)-extension of Srivastava?s triple hypergeometric function HC(?) by employing the extended Beta function Bp,?(x, y) introduced in Parmar et al. [J. Class. Anal. 11 (2017), 91-106]. We give some of the main properties of this extended function, which include several integral representations, the Mellin transform, a differential formula, recursion formulas and a bounded inequality.

Extended Bessel-Maitland function and its properties pertaining to integral transforms and fractional calculus

The aim of this paper is to establish an (presumably new) extension of generalized Bessel-Maitland function by using the extension of extended beta function. In addition, investigate several important properties namely integral representation, derivatives, recurrence relation, Beta transform and Mellin transform. Further, certain properties of the Riemann-Liouville fractional calculus associated with extended generalized Bessel-Maitland function are also investigated.

A (p,ν)-extension of the Appell function F1(⋅) and its properties

In this paper, we obtain a ( p , v ) -extension of the Appell hypergeometric function F 1 ( ⋅ ) , together with its integral representation, by using the extended Beta function B p , v ( x , y ) introduced in Parmar et al. (2015). Also, we give some of its main properties, namely the Mellin transform, a differential formula, recursion formulas and a bounded inequality. In addition, some new integral representations of the extended Appell function F 1 , p , v ( ⋅ ) involving Meijer’s G -function are obtained.

CERTAIN EXTENDED SPECIAL FUNCTIONS AND FRACTIONAL INTEGRAL AND DERIVATIVE OPERATORS VIA AN EXTENDED BETA FUNCTION

Various extensions of the Euler’s beta function have, recently, been presented and investigated. Here, choosing to use a fully extended beta function, we introduce an extended hypergeometric function, an extended confluent hypergeometric function, and an extension of the Appell function F_ 1 . We, also, use the fully extended beta function to introduce an extended Riemann-Liouville type integral operator and investigate its associated formulas and generating relations. The results presented here, being very general, can be specialized to yield some known and new results.

Convexity and inequalities related to extended beta and confluent hypergeometric functions

In the paper, the authors establish the logarithmic convexity and some inequalities for the extended beta function and, by using these inequalities for the extended beta function, find the logarithmic convexity and the monotonicity for the extended confluent hypergeometric function.

New Extension of Beta Function and Its Applications

In the present paper, new type of extension of classical beta function is introduced and its convergence is proved. Further it is used to introduce the extension of Gauss hypergeometric function and confluent hypergeometric functions. Then we study their properties, integral representation, certain fractional derivatives, and fractional integral formulas and application of these functions.
