The article is devoted to the study of the modern stage of the evolution of digital marketing. Attention is focused on the concept of marketing 4.0 with a focus on the differences in the application of marketing tools in the previous concept, which made it possible to distinguish the focus of marketing orientation at the present time. The main characteristic of Marketing 4.0 is the combination of traditional media (such as physical points of sale, television advertising, radio, etc.) and digital (e-commerce, online advertising, social media, etc.). This forces to reconsider how the customer interacts with the brand, what are the touch points, what is the path to purchase. Some concepts used by marketers, such as segmentation, targeting, positioning, customer journey, have been further developed. Alan Perez in his own research clearly distinguishes the differences in marketing concepts, therefore, in this study, the modern focus of marketing orientation was distinguished. A critically important customer segment is generation Z, which is characterized by individual self-expression, dialogic and realistic perception, refers to many sources of information and integrates virtual and offline experiences. Young people played that social role by creating and interpreting trends. They deeply believe in the effectiveness of dialogue to resolve conflicts and improve the world, make decisions and treat institutions very analytically and pragmatically. The behavior of Generation Z can be characterized by uncertain identity, dialogicity and realism, and consumption by uniqueness, limitlessness and ethics. The main marketing tools are analyzed and attention is focused on digital ones. The integrated approach of using traditional and digital marketing tools with the adaptation of traditional to the needs of the 4.0 concept using a personalized approach is analyzed. The relationship between modern marketing and artificial intelligence tools is indicated. The relationship of modern marketing with AI tools is reflected in such tasks as data creation and analysis, personalization, chatbots, automation of various aspects of marketing.

RESULTS OF MARKETING RESEARCH ON SOCIAL ASPECTS OF THE MARKET FOR PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL LABOR NEEDS

The development of Ukraine as a legal, democratic, and socially oriented state is closely linked to the shaping and evolution of the modern labour market. To achieve this, it is necessary to establish clear and comprehensive mechanisms and systems for accessing this market. Special attention should be given to creating and utilizing additional employment opportunities for individuals with special needs. Currently, individuals with disabilities face significant obstacles to equal competition in the labour market, leading to violations of their right to work, and a lower employment rate compared to the general population. This can initiate a process of gradual exclusion from the sphere of employment, resulting in increased unemployment rates and deepening poverty. The study of international experience in providing employment support for individuals with limited work capabilities is relevant in this context. The focus is on identifying opportunities to apply this experience in Ukraine. Special attention should be given to adapting and implementing technologies, special training programs, and incentivising employers to create an inclusive environment and provide equal opportunities in the labour market. It covers the implementation of measures for workplace adaptation, financial support for employers, and the active involvement of educational institutions and the public in the process of forming suitable infrastructure for inclusive employment. The experience of foreign countries in the field of social protection and employment stimulation for individuals with limited capabilities can serve as a basis for developing and implementing effective national-level strategies that contribute to the inclusion of all segments of the population in Ukraine's active labour force.

Utilizing Big Data Analysis for the Fusion Examination of Labor Market Evolution within the Gig Economy

The advent of the gig economy has triggered an unprecedented transformation in labor markets worldwide. Leveraging an intricate network analysis, this paper aims to delve into the multi-layered complexities of labor market metamorphosis within the context of a digital gig economy. We construct a bipartite labor-market network model that allows us to explore the nexus between gig workers and employment platforms using a robust set of parameters – connectivity, centrality, and clustering coefficient. Consequently, our empirical investigation elucidates how traditional labor market paradigms are being disrupted, engendering the emergence of new socio-economic stratifications. The results unveil a counterintuitive network structure where high centrality does not necessarily correlate with enhanced economic benefits for gig workers. Moreover, the findings underscore the potential pitfalls of a skewed clustering coefficient, manifesting as increased vulnerability to systemic shocks. The ubiquity of digital technology has engendered a seismic shift in economic frameworks, predominantly by initiating the concept of the gig economy. Although a plethora of research has been conducted on the gig economy from various disciplinary vantage points, limited endeavors have been undertaken to explore the intricacies of labor market changes via a network analysis paradigm. As a result, this study provides vital insights for policymakers, platform operators, and labor market participants, promoting a nuanced understanding of the gig economy’s implications for labor market architecture.

The price is right in 2-sided markets: Review and hypothesis generation

Price advantage distinguishes a sharing economy. Two-sided markets underlie sharing economies and contribute to price advantage. Airbnb employs a platform based on 2-sided markets which are lower in price than traditional hotels. Next, we investigate internet technology as a major disruptive innovation. We demonstrate the impacts of internet marketing as an outgrowth of internet technology. The continued growth of the sharing economy is examined within the framework of internet marketing evolution. We then study the growth of the sharing economy due to use of the Internet. The growing importance of access to consumption supersedes possession through ownership. The Airbnb case is our prime case study and it will be used to illustrate that most consumers benefit from 2-sided markets. Five major hypotheses are generated on the benefits of 2-sided markets, and implications for entrepreneurship are discussed.

Uncovering Backers’ Intention to Participate in Reward-Based Crowdfunding: The Role of Value Cocreation

The ongoing dynamic market evolution has reshaped the way companies can create value, thanks to new funding models and new market opportunities, especially in the early business stages. In particular, with the growing development of crowdfunding models, scholars and practitioners are questioning how backers can cocreate value by funding new entrepreneurial initiatives through digital platforms dedicated to this new form of financial support. Therefore, positioning this article in the knowledge and engineering management literature, the current research explores whether two subdimensions of value cocreation (VCC), knowledge sharing and interaction, may help to understand backers’ intention to participate in a reward-based crowdfunding (RBCF) campaign. In particular, using the partial least square structural equation modeling approach on an original sample of 3574 backers, in this article, we find that knowledge sharing, understood as backers’ expertise as well as the preparedness of the proponent team, and the interaction between the campaign actors contribute to explaining backers’ participation in an RBCF initiative. The research supports the relevance of backers’ engagement in terms of VCC as an experiential benefit for the success of an RBCF initiative. From this perspective, our study suggests that both entrepreneurs and platforms should consider VCC in the design and setting of RBCF campaigns.

This research takes a deep look at the resilience concept which plays a vital role in building and ensuring the economic and social renewal of Ukraine during the war and postwar periods by providing considerations of key trends for strategic resilience of the e-commerce market in Ukraine. It is proposed to perceive resilience as an attribute that can be formed, secured, and developed. Resilience also can bring several advantages to enterprises, namely: overcoming and/or recovering from shock, increasing productivity, obtaining options for development, seizing new opportunities, and realizing tangible and intangible advantages. The paper points out the potential of e-commerce technologies to enable small businesses to achieve long-term resilience. The author proposes to define strategic resilience which is proposed to be understood as a dynamic process and result of the enterprise's adaptation to the negative impact due to ensuring functioning, obtaining new development opportunities, acquiring new qualities, and transitioning to a more favorable state of functioning. The development of Ukrainian e-commerce market is promising due to the increase in growth rates and volumes of online purchases, as well as the opportunities to enter foreign markets and offer cross-border online purchases of goods and services. The research allowed identifying the following tendencies of the current development of Ukrainian e-commerce market, in particular: growth of volumes and rates of use of e-commerce as a means of supporting the activities of enterprises; continuous adaptation of e-commerce enterprises to changes in consumer behavior; personalization of goods and services; spread of omnichannel commerce; spread of innovative e-commerce business models; increase of social commerce; dissemination of technological innovations; increasing role of sustainable development and social responsibility of small and medium businesses. However, there are still a number of inhibitors that slow down Ukrainian e-commerce market evolution, particularly: damage and destruction of infrastructure; disruption of logistics chains; insufficient development and monopolization of the payment services market; as well as security and data privacy issues.

The rapid evolution of the digital financial asset market and its growing integration with traditional financial instruments, coupled with its global reach and unrestricted cross-border capital mobility, necessitate a thorough research of these market instruments. Specifically, it calls for an assessment of their potential as alternatives to conventional financial instruments. At the same time, there are many factors contributing to an increased risk of regulatory gaps in the financial market: structural vulnerability of the market of digital financial assets, high volatility of the value of crypto-assets, low transparency, the possibility of a spillover of risks from the market of digital financial assets to other financial markets, as well as the lack of regulatory consensus among financial regulators in the countries of the world. The research objective is to determine the role of investment tokens in today’s financial market, their utility in attracting investment resources on blockchain-based trading platforms, and the nuances of their classification as securities. The article delves into the core concepts and intricacies of regulating securities tokens and analyses quantitative metrics depicting the development of the investment token market and its relative share in the global financial market compared to other financial assets. Notably, the author outlines key criteria for securities regulators to consider when determining whether tokens should be classified as securities. The article reveals the main models of the initial offering of investment tokens, highlights their features, and shows their adaptability to changing conditions within the digital financial asset market and the evolving needs of market participants. It is evident that all current models for raising funds through investment tokens, including IEO, IDO, and STO sub-models, trace their roots back to the Initial Coin Offering (ICO) model and, fundamentally, do not differ significantly from traditional capital-raising models such as Initial Public Offering (IPO) and Secondary Public Offering (SPO) in traditional financial markets. This substantiates the need for global financial regulators to take actions aimed at officially classifying investment tokens as securities. Expanding securities legislation requirements to encompass issuers of investment tokens, particularly concerning information disclosure, promises to mitigate instances of fraud within the digital financial asset market. Such measures would fortify investor protection and reduce the vulnerability of financial markets as a whole.

Within the scope of this article, an overview is provided on the contemporary landscape of digital marketing, highlighting its various forms and their utilization within the scientific and theoretical domain as well as practical applications within a diverse spectrum of companies. Additionally, the article presents empirical research findings on the multifaceted interactions between marketing initiatives and their target audience, employing diverse communication channels and methodologies. Statistical metrics and graphical representations are employed to elucidate the growth and maturation of the digital marketing field, offering insights into industry-specific trends, geographical variations, and the financial investments committed to this evolving domain. This article also delves into various Internet platforms that have significantly influenced the evolution of digital communications within the realm of commerce. Furthermore, it is observed that the digitalization of trade has hastened the globalization of economic relations, simplifying trade interactions and eradicating geographical boundaries between nations, particularly in the context of promoting branded products. In addition, the author underscores the critical importance of adhering to specific guidelines to gain a competitive edge through the utilization of digital communication technologies and tools. These guidelines encompass comprehensive knowledge about consumer and buyer behavior, analytical processing of sales data, rigorous assessment of key performance indicators against financial expenditures, optimization of return on invested capital and intellectual resources, and the development of a crisis model that encompasses challenges related to the synergy between financial operations, resource allocation, and marketing activities. Unconventional Monetary Policy and Long‐Term Interest Rates

AbstractThis paper constructs a survey‐based measure capturing the evolution of market's expectations of the Federal Reserve's Large‐Scale Asset Purchases (LSAP) program during 2008–18, and examines the transmission mechanism of unconventional monetary policy. Estimation results suggest that both signaling and portfolio balance channels of the LSAP were important in lowering long‐term interest rates; Moreover, the Federal Reserve's forward guidance policy had led to a gradual extension of market's projections of the duration of the LSAP, making its effects more persistent. Model estimation also explains the 2013 taper tantrum well, and suggests that the LSAP's effects might have declined during QE III.

Evolution of government and market under China’s reform era: through the perspective of state capacity

There are two main stream theories explaining China’s rapid economic development in the reform era: new institutionalism and developmental state theory. Realizing the weaknesses of two main stream theories and based on China’s unique experience as both a transitional economy and developing economy that experienced rapid industrialization and marketization, scholars also developed other theories with some revisions of the above two mainstream theories. While these theories have very different focuses, they agree on the importance of state capacity. The author argues that the Chinese Communist Party composes the institutional foundation of state capacities to promote economic growth and build market institutions, and discusses three important aspects of how party strength and state capacity helped the market transition, government restructuring and enterprise reform. The future challenges are discussed in the conclusion.

Defining trends in the evolution of the Russian gas market

The new “driving force” of the liberalization of the conditions for the functioning of the gas sector associated with demonopolization and the formation of an effective structure of the domestic gas market with a high level of competition and fair principles of the organization of natural gas trade for Russian consumers are the ongoing changes in the economic situation in the global energy market. Against the background of the expected decline in pipeline gas exports to Europe (the volume of decline may amount to 100 billion cubic meters in the medium term) it is important to focus efforts on the development of the domestic gas market, since the task in these conditions is more urgent than ever. First of all, to accelerate the transition to market pricing mechanisms (except for the population) using indicative prices on the stock exchange and within the framework of inter-fuel competition. Currently, gas prices in the domestic market are subsidized by exports, which, as mentioned above, is going to decrease, which in turn will lead to a decrease in such subsidies, and accordingly, there will be a need for higher rates of price growth in the domestic market. The importance of further development of gas exchange trading in Russia is emphasized on various government platforms. The main guidelines for improving the exchange mechanisms for the sale of natural gas are contained in the “National Plan (Roadmap) for the development of competition in the Russian Federation for 2021-2025”. It should be noted that the development of gas exchange trading should take place by increasing the economic attractiveness for participants, creating favorable economically conditioned prerequisites for an equal supply of gas to the exchange for all sellers, as well as developing an appropriate regulatory framework.
