RESEARCH STATUS OF INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION ECOSYSTEM: DATA ANALYSIS FROM CNKI IN CHINA

Innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem is a hot and difficult issue in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship education research in recent years. The research on innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem in China has gone through 10 years of research and development. In order to grasp the current status, hotspots, trends and future of innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem research in China, 158 sample documents from the CNKI database were taken as the research object, and the bibliometric method was used to visualise and analyse the big data of the literature in terms of the amount of papers published annually, the research topics, the distribution of disciplines, the high-yield authors, the journals of the published papers, the institutions of the published papers, the high citations, the number of downloads, and the categories of the sources. Comparison. The results found that: China's innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem research is mainly divided into the disciplines of higher education and vocational education; journals such as Innovation and Entrepreneurship Theory, Research and Practice, Journal of Heilongjiang Institute of Education and Modernisation of Education are the main dissemination carriers; PKUC is the main source of journals for high-quality theses; Huangshan College, Wenzhou University, Northeast Normal University and Henan University of Technology are the main publication institutions ; Jiangsu Provincial Fund Project and Ministry of Education Fund Project are the main funding funds.

RESEARCH ON CONSTRUCTING THE INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION ECOSYSTEM OF APPLIED UNDERGRADUATE UNIVERSITIES IN CHINA IN THE DIGITAL ECONOMY ERA

In the context of the rapid development of the digital economy, this paper meticulously constructs an innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem for applied undergraduate universities in China, based on the innovation ecosystem theory framework. This system comprehensively and systematically covers essential components such as ecological entities, key elements, organizational structure, internal connections, and core functions. The primary objective is to drive profound innovation in teaching models by establishing a multidimensional goal system, implementing cross-disciplinary talent cultivation strategies, designing an integrated curriculum system, and utilizing a data-driven, smart technologyintegrated teaching practice platform. Based on this framework, the paper further proposes practical pathways for the innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem of applied undergraduate universities in China under the digital economy background. It aims to establish a collaborative operation mechanism among various elements, stimulate the innovation vitality of all entities, optimize the supporting structure of the innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem, and thus help applied undergraduate universities overcome development bottlenecks and move towards a broader stage of development.

Applying parametric modelling to generate the ecosystem path of innovation and entrepreneurship education in applied undergraduate colleges and universities

Abstract This paper firstly researches the generation path of innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem in applied undergraduate universities from the four aspects of education ecosystem, teacher team, conceptual change and system mechanism. Then, it constructs the ecological index system of innovation and entrepreneurship education and transforms the model into a parametric model by modeling the mean value parameter and dispersion parameter and approximating the smooth function of the model by using the Bayesian P-spline method. Finally, University H is taken as an example to evaluate and test the innovation and entrepreneurship education system based on the parametric model. The results show that education and teaching occupy a large proportion of the ecosystem, indicating that by actively initiating or participating in the innovation and entrepreneurship education ecology, applied undergraduate colleges and universities can rely on social capital endeavors to prompt a constant input of resources into the ecosystem, thus maintaining the benign and sustainable development of the innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem.

How to drive sustainable entrepreneurial intentions: Unraveling the nexus of entrepreneurship education ecosystem, attitude and orientation

AbstractWhile the nexus of the entrepreneurial education (EE) framework shapes education policies and promotes entrepreneurial opportunities to achieve global sustainable development goals, studies on the potential mechanisms by which the ecosystem dimension of entrepreneurial education (EEE) influences entrepreneurial behavior are still scarce. To address these lacunae, this research study investigates the interaction between EEE elements (institutional environment, course curriculum, and academic incubators) and sustainable entrepreneurial intention (SEI) and in addition, examines the role of attitude towards sustainability (ATS) as a mediator from the resource dependence perspective, deploying the theories of planned behavior and social cognitive career. Furthermore, we examine the moderating role of sustainable entrepreneurial orientation (SEO) in the relationship between ATS and SEI. We developed and tested a model on a sample of 402 university and academic institution students with diverse academic backgrounds using partial least squares structural equation modeling. Results indicate that ecosystem elements of EE and attitudinal attributes are crucial factors in promoting SEI. The indirect impact of EEE involves fostering ATS, which in turn augment SEI. The results also reveal that SEO is a moderator that shapes attitudes and career intentions towards sustainable entrepreneurship. In sum, the present empirical study sheds light on the pathway to build sustainable entrepreneurial careers through analyzing the ecosystem framework of entrepreneurship education. Implications, limitations, and future research avenues are discussed in detail.

Structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis: an innovative female entrepreneurship education ecosystem in China

PurposeThis study aims to add a gender perspective to the current ecosystem of entrepreneurship education whereby an innovative model of the female entrepreneurship education ecosystem (FEEE) consisting of five stakeholders (university, government, society, enterprise and the international community) is examined.Design/methodology/approachThe study conducted an online questionnaire among 505 respondents from two universities and one higher vocational college in China. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was used to test the correlation between factors and structural equation modeling (SEM) was applied to test the five hypotheses proposed in the study.FindingsThe results indicated that the five stakeholders (the university, government, society, enterprise and international community) positively affect FEEE. The study emphasizes the urgent demand to consider gender perspectives in the ecosystem of entrepreneurship education and provides plausible ways to conduct female-targeted education with the joint efforts of different stakeholders.Practical implicationsThe study aims to increase the number of future female entrepreneurs, enhance the future skills of female students in the digital era and ultimately advance humankind. The study emphasizes the urgent demand to consider gender-perspective in the entrepreneurship education ecosystem and provides plausible ways to conduct female-targeted education with the joint efforts of different stakeholders.Originality/valueThis paper sheds light on evaluating FEEE through five stakeholders' dimensions, which explores the solutions to the current female entrepreneurship education (FEE) issues.

With the gradual implementation of the national innovation-driven development strategy and the rapid growth of new technologies, new formats and new product markets, it has provided new requirements for the innovative training of Chinese colleges. In order to further stimulate their awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship, cultivate their entrepreneurial spirit, and enhance their innovation and entrepreneurship skills, the relevant regulations promulgated by the State Council and the Ministry of Education have promoted the rapid development of innovation and entrepreneurship education in higher education in China. However, there are also many difficulties in the process of education, such as: on the one hand, the science and technology entrepreneurship competition is also in full swing. However, the talent construction of dual-innovation teaching is also relatively thin, in addition, the scientific and technological entrepreneurial talents within the campus are relatively scattered and the utilization rate is not high. Therefore, on the basis of educational ecology and other theories, it is very important to establish a dynamic college innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem, and study the relationship and operation mechanism of each role in the ecosystem, so as to promote the coordinated development of various elements.

Random Matrix Model for the Ecological Model of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education for College Students

The introduction of the ecological perspective into the research of entrepreneurship education is an important transformation of the way of thinking. Using the thinking forms such as integrity, diversity, and openness, it analyzes the ecological role relationship of the various elements of entrepreneurship education itself, and the relationship between the entrepreneurship education system and the external social ecology. The relationship between the system and the influence of various elements on the effect of entrepreneurship education is clarified to ensure that entrepreneurship education achieves practical results. From the perspective of ecology, based on the research on entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, on the basis of ecological cognition of entrepreneurship education, this research attempts to solve many problems in the current implementation of entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities through the theoretical construction of an ideal college entrepreneurship education ecosystem. The problem of ecological imbalance can better serve the practice of entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities. At the same time, theoretically expand the horizons of entrepreneurship education research in colleges and universities, and further promote the “conditional” integration of ecological thinking and entrepreneurship education. This paper introduces the random matrix theory and introduces the related theory of Monte Carlo method. The weight assignment of the evaluation index system is realized, which lays the foundation for the quantitative evaluation. The weight coefficients of the indicators at all levels are determined by the analytic hierarchy process, and the importance of the indicators is judged by the weight coefficients, so as to realize the scientific quantitative evaluation of the innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem. At the same time, the scientificity of the evaluation index system is verified by means of the method of reliability and validity test. The conclusions of this study theoretically solve the main problems existing in the evaluation of the current innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem. By building a complete evaluation index system for the innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem in colleges and universities, it helps researchers and users to clarify the connotation and elements of the innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem in colleges and universities, and fully taps the “hidden” elements of evaluation indicators, making the evaluation more comprehensive.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship of College Students Based on Random Matrix Big Data Analysis Model Educational Ecological Model Optimization

In this paper, the random matrix big data analysis model is thoroughly studied and constructed, the ecological model of college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship education is analyzed, and the optimization model of college students’ Innovation and entrepreneurship education environmental model based on the random matrix big data analysis model is designed. This paper briefly explains the random matrix and its M-P rate theory deduces the idea of feature extraction by the difference of eigenvalue limit spectrum distribution between different nonrandom matrices and random matrices, gives the data matrix representation method of FEMPL and the specific feature composition basis, and describes the steps of FEMPL feature extraction. A performance model for predicting the running time of Hadoop jobs is constructed using a random matrix. In this paper, innovation and entrepreneurship education has been carried out gradually, and the innovation and entrepreneurship education curriculum, platform, and mechanism have been progressively established. However, there is still a gap between the proper level of innovation and entrepreneurship education development. This study takes education ecology as the research perspective, analyzes the ecosystem of typical schools of innovation and entrepreneurship education, summarizes the dimensions and parameters of the invention and entrepreneurship education ecosystem, constructs an ecological model of innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students, and analyzes the problems and causes of the current innovation and entrepreneurship education ecology for college students based on the model, to propose specific strategies to promote the ecological development of innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students.

Design of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Ecosystem in Universities Based on User Experience

The conventional college innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem is not considered to be designed for low energy consumption, and there is confusion in function switching, which leads to a large value of packet loss rate in system transmission. In this paper, we analyze the construction of college innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem and construct the scientific ecosystem of college innovation and entrepreneurship education based on user experience so as to realize college. At the same time, it takes into account the principle of green and low energy consumption of system hardware and software design, in which the hardware part selects S3C6410 RISC microcontroller as the core component to build the structure of educational ecological controller, connects a 16 bit buffer in parallel outside the controller, uses the buffer as the actual conversion port, specifies the function switching bearing interface, uses a protocol conversion chip, and designs the data acquisition circuit structure. The software part builds a model of user experience elements, sets to get an ecological interaction interface under the interoperability between the model and information data, and uses JAVA programming to realize functional modules according to the deviation of educational information shown by users. The experimental results show that the educational ecosystem designed in this paper has high data throughput, high fault tolerance, and low packet loss rate and system energy consumption, which verifies the effectiveness of the system.

Construction of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Ecosystem in Higher Vocational Colleges from the Perspective of System Theory

Innovation and entrepreneurship (IAE) education in higher vocational education is mainly to cultivate college students’ innovative spirit and ability, and it is an important way to promote economic development. However, the current academic research on the construction of IAE education ecosystem in higher vocational school (HVS) is relatively weak. In order to improve the IAE education ecosystem of HVS and strengthen the innovation of HVS education system, this study systematically discusses and analyzes the system from the four aspects of system boundary, state, power, and movement and further innovates and constructs the IAE education ecosystem of HVS on the basis of university education system, subject cooperation, and mechanism management. The results prove the feasibility of HVS IAE education ecosystem from the perspective of system theory, enhance the cultivation of HVS talents’ IAE ability, and are of great significance to promote the comprehensive reform of higher vocational school education system.

Student entrepreneurship ecosystems at Australian higher education institutions

PurposeDespite the significance, university student start-ups and student entrepreneurship ecosystems (SEEs) have been subject to little research. This study aims to apply a qualitative emergent enquiry approach to explore best practice SEEs in Australia, complimented by narratives from leading scholars in higher education institutions with the aim of delineating the integrative components of SEEs.Design/methodology/approachAdopting the entrepreneurial ecosystem framework and aligned to the social cognitive theory, this paper explores the components and dynamics of SEEs, contributing to an understanding of how such components can better support the growth, sustainability and success of student start-ups. The authors extend entrepreneurship research on social construction using narrative research.FindingsThe findings provide guidelines for researchers, entrepreneurship scholars and educators, entrepreneurship students, policymakers and practitioners to enhance the impact and success of university student start-ups by adopting a student ecosystem approach.Research limitations/implicationsThe narratives represent a limited number of universities with an opportunity for further research to empirically measure the impact and outcomes of SEEs. The research is exploratory, inherently conceptual and emergent, providing an opportunity for validation of narrative frameworks in future studies.Practical implicationsThe findings may assist university managers to be more aware of their own subconscious preferences to student entrepreneurship and start-up initiatives, which may be useful in refining their impact and offerings regarding a quest toward the entrepreneurial university.Social implicationsFrom social perspectives, the alignment of the components of SEE has the ability to enhance and shift the entrepreneurial mindset of entrepreneurship students, notwithstanding enhancement of intentionality and self-efficacy.Originality/valueThis is the first study of SEEs in Australia, highlighting the importance of the integration of entrepreneurship education programs, entrepreneurship education ecosystems, the entrepreneurial university and specific start-up initiatives such as university accelerators. Furthermore, students may enhance their entrepreneurial mindset by actively engaging in such ecosystems.

The Evaluation of Synergy between University Entrepreneurship Education Ecosystem and University Students’ Entrepreneurship Performance

The interactive mechanism between college and university entrepreneurship education ecosystem and their students’ entrepreneurial performance needs to be further discussed, as college and university students are an important force in entrepreneurship. Since there is a lack of symbiotic mechanism analysis and interactive optimization research using ecological methods, this paper constructs the evaluation index system of entrepreneurship education ecosystem and entrepreneurship performance evaluation index system and uses the entropy weight method to determine the weight of various indicators in the index system more objectively. In this paper, Lotka–Volterra model in ecology is used to deeply study the mechanism between college and university entrepreneurship education ecosystem and entrepreneurship performance. Lotka–Volterra multichoice goal programming (MCGP) model is used to optimize the collaborative relationship between college and university entrepreneurship education ecosystem and entrepreneurship performance. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the research method. The results show that Lotka–Volterra multichoice goal programming (MCGP) method is effective in evaluating the synergy between college and university entrepreneurship education ecosystem and the students’ entrepreneurship performance.

The Influence of Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Education on Entrepreneurial Intention: Evidence From Universities in China's Pearl River Delta.

Entrepreneurship may be taught, and entrepreneurship education is flourishing at colleges and universities. However, previous documents show that entrepreneurship education is inconsistent with the research conclusions of entrepreneurial intention, which is a lack of discussion on the mediating effect of government subsidies from external resources. Based on the cognitive behavior theory, a mediating effect of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial strategy and entrepreneurial intention is built. By collecting the data of 334 questionnaires of college students in Pearl River Delta in China, a structural equation is used for empirical analysis. The result indicates that entrepreneurship education does not have a significant influence on entrepreneurial intention; exploration innovation and exploitation innovation have a positive influence on entrepreneurial intention, and exploration innovation and exploitation innovation have a mediating effect on entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention; government subsidies have a positive regulating effect on exploration innovation, exploitation innovation, and entrepreneurial intention. In this article, the application of the cognitive behavior theory in the field of entrepreneurship research is expanded to provide the theoretical basis for building the entrepreneurship education ecosystem, which is conductive to innovation and entrepreneurship to promote regional economic development.

Exploration of Chinese Characteristics of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Ecosystem in Colleges and Universities

The construction of university innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem is a hot concern for international entrepreneurship education theory and practice.However, China's specific national conditions and path of characteristics determine that the Western model cannot be copied. It must, on the basis of comprehensive experience of ancient, modern and abroad, based on China's national conditions, make Chinese choices and reflect Chinese characteristics.We should focus on building the “Chinese consensus” on the construction of the innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem in universities, building a solid “Chinese confidence”, highlighting the “Chinese style”, and building a “Chinese model”.

Research on the Construction of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Ecosystem in Colleges Guided by Fostering Virtue in Education

Focused on the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem guided by “Fostering Virtue in Education,” colleges are grounding efforts in the new development stage, applying the new development philosophy, and creating a new framework of development. Under China's new era, fostering character and civic virtue is the due meaning of innovation and entrepreneurship education in higher education. Adoption of this strategic approach accelerates the transformation of economic development mode, and build an innovative country. It is also an education strategy which can improve the quality of talent training and innovation & entrepreneurship education. An important way to promote the all-round development of university students is to implement the core measures of increased employment by entrepreneurship and the full employment of graduates, which is related to the fundamental issue of “who to cultivate, how to cultivate and for whom to cultivate.” In the new era, innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities should be based on the local conditions, respond to the needs of the times, connect with the national development strategy, grasp the correct development direction, become an important force to promote the national economic development and social harmony and progress, cultivate the new force of “mass entrepreneurship and innovation” in line with the requirements of the times and the country, and realize the transformation of university functions and missions. To carry out the fundamental task of talent cultivation in universities.

Key Elements and Their Roles in Entrepreneurship Education Ecosystem: Comparative Review and Suggestions for Sustainability

This paper examines two core issues of the university-based entrepreneurship education ecosystem by explicating the key elements of the ecosystem and their roles, and the development process and sustainable construction strategy of the ecosystem. Thirty stakeholders of ecosystems from the US universities were interviewed, and the transcripts of these interviews were coded through a three-phase process, including open, axial, selective coding, and were analyzed based on the grounded theory. It was found that (i) the key elements of the university-based entrepreneurship education ecosystem consist of six units (colleges and universities, learners, educators, government, industry, and community) acting as initiators and seven factors (entrepreneurship curriculum, entrepreneurial activities and practices, organizational structure, resources, leadership vision, core faculty, and operating mechanism) acting as the intermediaries; (ii) These key elements constitute three independent functional subsystems, namely, teaching and innovation, support, and operation that are interconnected by the universities; (iii) The development process of a university-based entrepreneurship education ecosystem involves seven steps as preparation, germination, growth, equilibrium, stagnation, recession, and collapse; (iv) For sustainability, suggestions on a solid foundation, continuous investment, and constant monitoring are provided to university administrators and policymakers to advance higher education’s contribution to social and economic development.
