The Impact of Green Logistics on the Sustainable Development of Enterprises

This study examines the importance of green logistics for the sustainable development performance of enterprises. It analyzes the connotation and application of green logistics, the significance of corporate sustainable development, and the relationship between the two, to clarify the decisive influence of green logistics in contemporary enterprises. At the same time, it points out the existing problems in the development process of green logistics from multiple perspectives, indicating that the further development of green logistics requires the efforts and cooperation of enterprises, governments, and multiple parties in the supply chain. Following this positioning, several conceptual solutions are proposed, such as the innovation and sustainable utilization of green technology and green management in logistics, and the government's role as a third party in regulating the application of green logistics. The research results have theoretical significance, highlighting the impact of green logistics on corporate sustainable development and the important role of the government in sustainable development. The practical significance includes improving corporate sustainable development performance indicators in the technical and management dimensions, in order to further improve the organization's sustainable operations and behavior.

Exploring New Paths for the Internationalization of Vocational Colleges in the Era of Artificial Intelligence

This study analyzes the internationalization development changes of one vocational college in China over the past 10 years. Based on the new requirements and trends of vocational education in the era of artificial intelligence , effective suggestions are proposed for the internationalization development of vocational education from the aspects of establishing international consulting organizations, attracting international capital investment, learn from other vocational colleges, formulating international cooperation plans, building industry education integration communities, constructing international curriculum resource databases, shortening students' learning time in school, changing classroom learning modes, increasing online practical training time, and building international cooperation alliances. This study is expected to promote the improvement of vocational colleges in curriculum construction, teaching resources, learning modes, school enterprise cooperation, and platform construction, ultimately achieving sustainable development of vocational education.

Strategies for Improving the Employment Ability of Vocational and Technical College College Students under the Background of School Enterprise Cooperation

School enterprise cooperation has a significant positive impact on students' knowledge application ability, skill mastery level and professional quality, which can indirectly promote the improvement of students' employment ability. This paper puts forward the strategies for improving the employability of Vocational and Technical College College Students under the school enterprise cooperation mode, including four aspects: the design of customized courses, the strengthening of practical teaching links, the optimization of the structure of teachers and the construction of continuous feedback and adjustment mechanism, so as to improve the employability of Vocational and technical college college students.

The Impact of Human Resource Management on Financial Performance: A Systematic Review in Cooperative Enterprises

This paper presents a systematic review that examines the influence of human resource management (HRM) on financial performance in cooperative enterprises, utilizing the PRISMA approach. To gather relevant resources, we formulated a search strategy using predefined keywords such as “HRM”, “Financial Performance”, and “Cooperative”. After applying the inclusion criteria (full articles, online accessibility, English language, and relevance to the topic), 26 articles were selected for review. The findings of this analysis reveal a positive relationship between HRM practices and financial performance, with HRM driving both efficiency and profitability. High-performing HRM functions enhance employee productivity while ensuring personnel welfare and improving the organizational climate. Modern HRM practices are crucial in increasing employee engagement, fostering innovative cultures, and improving operational efficiency. These practices directly affect financial performance by linking employee engagement with product quality, profitability, and retention. Based on the studies reviewed, this paper contributes significantly to the existing literature and offers key conclusions that can be drawn from the findings.

‘You can’t buy a revolution, but you can support a paper fighting for one’: Journalism cooperatives’ organizational traits and journalistic missions

This article explores journalism cooperatives, a sub-field of journalism practice and a type of news organization that is becoming more popular as an organizational option in journalism internationally. While other non-traditional ways of funding and producing news – such as non-profit media or crowdfunding initiatives – receive growing attention from journalism researchers, cooperative enterprises remain largely neglected. This study develops an inventory of 29 such news outlets in Europe, North America, and South America. It presents a portrait of the cooperative field in journalism in terms of founding year, geographic location, linguistic tendencies, and cooperative sub-types. Second, based on an analysis of the official websites of seven of these cooperatives, the article describes the revenue sources, workforce, governance structures, and missions of such needs-rather than profit-driven news outlets. The study finds that their organizational traits oscillate between alternative media, non-profit media, and mainstream media attributes. However, in addition, journalism cooperatives possess a unique feature, namely internal democratic governance mechanisms, which have the potential to increase public trust in the news media. Moreover, for the seven cooperatives investigated here, this potential is enhanced further as they assign a key role to audiences as owners, managers, and funders of the organization (they are either reader-owned or co-owned by journalists and readers). I argue that the results of this exploratory study on journalism cooperatives, together with existing research on news non-profits, invite us to consider that the social economy might be a better default home for journalism than the capitalist marketplace.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE GLOBAL AIR TRANSPORTATION MARKET IN CONDITIONS OF TURBULENCE

The purpose of the article is to develop and substantiate the strategic priorities of international cooperation of air transport enterprises of Ukraine in war and post-war times based on the study of turbulence factors affecting the activity of the global air transport market, as well as the analysis of the strategic development of the world's largest airlines in crisis conditions. The methodological basis of the research is scientific theories of economic cycles and crises, theories of market equilibrium, theories of market structures, theories of cooperation and integration. Both general scientific and special methods of scientific knowledge were used – historical-logical, descriptive-analytical, analysis and synthesis, methods of quantitative and qualitative comparisons. The informational basis of the article is monographic studies and periodical publications of Ukrainian and foreign economists, analytical reports of international aviation organizations, international consulting companies and analytical centres. The article examines the essence, structure and modern trends in the development of the global air transport market. Turbulence factors affecting the dynamics of air transport are identified and justified, including geopolitical instability, economic downturns, rising fuel prices, pandemics, technological innovations etc. The impact of crises on international air transportation was assessed, and the peculiarities of the regulation of the world air market were considered. The role of global strategic alliances in the formation of the world market of air transportation is determined, it is established that international cooperation of air transport enterprises allows to increase the market share. The results of the research made it possible to justify the strategic priorities of international cooperation of air transport enterprises of Ukraine in war and post-war times. Research results can be used for scientific justification and further creation of proper conditions for the effective functioning of the global air transport market, as well as in the development of new strategies for air transport enterprises of Ukraine, which will allow them to remain stable and competitive in conditions of uncertainty and growing threats.

Teaching Reform of BIM Modeling and Realistic 3D Integration Application

BIM technology is based on three digit technology to achieve information integration and sharing throughout the entire life cycle of buildings, which can effectively improve design and construction efficiency. Realistic 3D technology is a technology that digitally presents real-world objects and scenes in high-precision, high-efficiency, and high fidelity 3D form, which can objectively and realistically reflect the real world and provide rich spatial analysis functions. This article integrates real-life 3D and BIM modeling technology and applies it to practical teaching of civil engineering majors in vocational colleges, explores its teaching practice methods, and proposes reform measures such as deepening course design, innovating teaching methods, deepening school enterprise cooperation, and improving assessment and evaluation systems. In order to enhance students' competitiveness in employment and continuously promote the teaching reform of BIM modeling courses.

Research on the Cultivation of Artificial Intelligence Professionals in Vocational Colleges

With the rapid development of the global economy and the continuous advancement of technology, the artificial intelligence industry has become a new engine for the development of the world economy today. China's vocational colleges have launched a wave of professional construction in the era of artificial intelligence. However, during the construction process, there have been problems such as a mismatch between the level of education and the needs of industry enterprises, a dilemma in the positioning of talent training goals, curriculum construction lagging behind the actual application of enterprises, a lack of teaching staff and low level of specialization, low coupling of demands between school enterprise cooperation, and obvious lag in the construction of practical teaching conditions. In response to technological changes and industrial development trends, vocational colleges should actively take measures to address these issues under the macroeconomic regulation and specific coordination of the government, with the full participation of industry enterprises. To cultivate more high-quality talents with innovative spirit, practical ability, and international competitiveness for the artificial intelligence industry.

Circular economy and twin transition in the cooperative movement: The case of Climate Circular Coop research project

The twin transition (TT) towards a circular economy (CE) and digital economy is vital for achieving the United Nations' Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. While research has predominantly focused on traditional enterprises, the role of cooperative enterprises in this transition remains underexplored. The Climate Circular Coop (CCC) project coordinated by the University of Ferrara in collaboration with research offices of the Italian Cooperatives Federation Area Studi Legacoop, and the University of Roma TRE, aims to address this gap by identifying the drivers and barriers cooperatives face in adopting CE and digital technologies. Through the development of a targeted survey, the project seeks to compare the efforts of cooperatives against other enterprise-forms to identify similarities and differences when implementing TT and environmental sustainability practices, such as circular economy (CE). Initial findings suggest that cooperatives and other enterprise-forms, such as SMEs, are influenced by similar barriers and drivers yet the intrinsic community-focused and democratic nature of cooperatives may position them as pivotal players. Comprehensive research is essential to enhance understanding and inform policies that support sustainability development through cooperatives exactly due to their specific business model (BM).

Analysis of International Cooperation Management Strategies of Enterprises under the Background of the “Belt and Road”

With the deepening of the “Belt and Road” initiative, Chinese enterprises are facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges for international cooperation. This paper mainly analyzes the current situation, existing problems, and coping strategies of enterprise international cooperation management in the context of the “Belt and Road”. This article expounds on the importance of the “Belt and Road” initiative for international cooperation of enterprises and analyzes the key links of international cooperation management of enterprises from the aspects of internationalization strategy, cross-cultural management, risk prevention and control, and resource integration. Finally, combined with the case, this paper puts forward the management strategies and suggestions that enterprises should adopt in international cooperation, to provide a useful reference for Chinese enterprises in international cooperation in the construction of the “Belt and Road.”

How Can the Government Promote Sustainable Cooperation between Schools and Enterprises? A Quadrilateral Evolutionary Game Study

Sustainable cooperation between schools and enterprises is crucial to maintaining a dynamic balance between the supply and demand of talents and driving the advancement of new quality productive forces. As a result, facilitating school–enterprise cooperation has become an important concern in many countries. However, there remains a gap in understanding the approaches taken by central and local governments to foster such cooperation through the lens of evolutionary game theory. Therefore, this paper develops a quadrilateral evolutionary game model involving schools, enterprises, the central government, and local governments by building the payoff matrix and calculating expected payoffs of different strategies to analyze the conditions under which governments can effectively promote school–enterprise cooperation. Our findings indicate that benefit is a decisive factor that affects the strategies of all parties. Increasing incentives and penalties from the central government and local governments can stimulate school–enterprise cooperation, but these measures are not sustainable in the long term. Additionally, the impact of the central government’s incentives and penalties on local governments in promoting school–enterprise cooperation is limited. Enhancing policy efficacy and the practical outcomes of school–enterprise cooperation is essential, which not only strengthens the bond between schools and enterprises but also ensures deep and enduring governmental involvement. Some suggestions are put forward at the end.

Fuzzy Evaluation Model for Operational Performance of Air Cleaning Equipment

Global warming has led to the continuous deterioration of the living environment, in which air quality directly affects human health. In addition, the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic has further increased the attention to indoor air quality. Indoor clean air quality is not only related to human health but also related to the quality of the manufacturing environment of clean rooms for numerous high-tech processes, such as semiconductors and packaging. This paper proposes a comprehensive model for evaluating, analyzing, and improving the operational performance of air cleaning equipment. Firstly, three operational performance evaluation indexes, such as the number of dust particles, the number of colonies, and microorganisms, were established. Secondly, the 100(1− α)% upper confidence limits of these three operational performance evaluation indexes were deduced to construct a fuzzy testing model. Meanwhile, the accumulated value of ϕ was used to derive the evaluation decision-making value. The proposed model can help companies identify the key quality characteristics that need to be improved. Furthermore, the competitiveness of cooperative enterprises towards smart manufacturing can be strengthened, so that enterprises can not only fulfill their social responsibilities while developing the economy but also take into account the sustainable development of enterprises and the environment.

The Impact of Multidimensional Proximity on Enterprise Cooperative Innovation Performance

Internet development, information availability, and Chinese enterprises’ cooperative green technology innovation

Cooperative green technology innovation is potentially the answer to the lack of motivation for independent green innovation, which can effectively alleviate many difficulties faced by enterprises engaging in independent green innovation. Internet development provides new opportunities to stimulate innovative cooperation of enterprises. However, little literature has studied the impact of Internet development on enterprises' cooperative green technology innovation. Based on the data of Chinese A-share 3284 listed companies from 2010 to 2019, this paper uses a panel two-way fixed effects model to assess the effect of Internet development on enterprises' cooperative green innovation. The findings are: (1) Internet development significantly drives firms' collaborative green innovation behavior. The result remains robust even after performing a series of robust tests. (2) The Internet empowers green innovation cooperation among firms by improving information availability, including market information availability and technical information availability. (3) The heterogeneous results show enterprises use the Internet to accomplish high-quality collaborative green innovation. Internet development is more helpful in encouraging the cooperative green innovation of enterprises located in central cities and state-owned enterprises. This study provides novel and targeted policy implications to empower enterprises’ green innovation cooperation and drive sustainable economic development through Internet development.

How Does University-Industry Collaboration Drives the Green Innovation?

Breaking through the company’s own green knowledge barriers through school-enterprise cooperation has become an important means for companies to expand market competitive advantages and environmental governance. This article uses China’s non-financial listed company data from 2010 to 2021 to study the causal effect of school-enterprise cooperation on corporate green innovation. The results passed a series of robustness tests and confirmed that school enterprise cooperation can improve the level of green innovation of enterprises. This paper also uses the instrumental variable method to mitigate the causal relationship between the two. The results show that school-enterprise cooperation can still significantly improve corporate green innovation. The results of the mechanism test confirm that school-enterprise cooperation will promote corporate green innovation by reducing corporate green innovation risks and easing corporate financing constraints. At the same time, the heterogeneity analysis results show that school-enterprise cooperation has a better effect on improving green innovation for enterprises in heavily polluting industries, enterprises in years with low economic policy uncertainty, and enterprises with a high degree of government-enterprise connection. The findings of this article help to understand the intrinsic mechanism between school-enterprise cooperation and corporate green innovation, and confirm that school-enterprise cooperation can improve the climate and environmental innovation system, which has important practical significance for the construction of the industry-university-research system.

Comparative study of funding sources for faculty development following COVID-19 in China and the United States

In the post-epidemic era (COVID-19) context, funding university faculty development in China and the United States faces severe challenges. From the perspective of government education grants and social donations from foundations, except for top-ranked universities, most universities have faced increasing difficulties in financing faculty development. In this context, the U.S. government and U.S. universities have promoted university–enterprise cooperation for a long time, and faculty research teams independently seek enterprises’ financial support. These efforts have effectively alleviated the problem of insufficient funding for faculty development. In doing so, these cases provide a valuable example for the funding of faculty development in China. Universities, businesses, and local governments should think about “directed cooperation subjects” from the standpoint of funding units. As a result, university instructor growth will be accomplished through a progression from “money” to “win-win cooperation” and ultimately “wisdom.” As a result, long-term collaboration is required between local governments, businesses, and academic institutions. Moreover, there are two aspects to cooperation between local governments, businesses, and academic institutions. First, collaboration tends to be closer when economic conditions are better; conversely, cooperation tends to be lower when conditions are worse. Second, cooperation is more likely when the program has greater influence.

Visualizing the construction of subject librarianship in chinese higher education libraries: A knowledge graph-based analysis

This study investigates the evolution and current status of subject librarianship in Chinese higher education spanning the past 25 years. Utilizing scientometric analysis, we construct knowledge graphs, encompassing publication trends, co-citation and co-occurrence networks, and the burstiness of keywords. The data are drawn from 504 articles in the Chinese Social Science Citation Index (CSSCI) database. The analysis sheds light on knowledge domains, evolutionary routes, and research hotspots within this field. The graphs delineate intricate connections among subject librarianship in Chinese higher education, involving universities, faculties, students, cooperative enterprises, and government. Significantly, these services play pivotal roles in information resource construction, scientific research, intellectual property support, and propaganda. The progression of subject librarianship in Chinese higher education is driven by innovations in information technology, user demands and policy advocacy. The knowledge graph-based exploration of subject librarianship holds substantial implications for libraries further constructions, particularly in enriching content and enhancing quality, aligning with the criteria of the new education public policy outlined by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.

LogTODIM-PROMETHEE technique for development evaluation of school-enterprise cooperation from the perspective of collaborative education based on the probabilistic linguistic group decision-making

The integration of industry and education can be literally explained as the role of education in providing intellectual support and production services for the development of industries in a country or region, evolving from an auxiliary role in industrial development to a supporting role in industrial development. The government, enterprises, universities, and intermediaries are all the main bodies of industry education integration, and school enterprise cooperation is the core. The two basic functions of universities, namely “applied scientific research” and “social services”, must be highlighted. How to strengthen the cultivation of applied talents and improve the quality of talent cultivation in universities is a problem that universities must face in their transformation. Strengthening school enterprise cooperation and promoting the integration of industry and education is an effective way to solve this problem. The development evaluation of school-enterprise cooperation from the perspective of collaborative education is a multiple-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problem. Recently, the Logarithmic TODIM (LogTODIM) and PROMETHEE technique was employed to put forward the MAGDM issues. The probabilistic linguistic term sets (PLTSs) are employed as a technique for characterizing uncertain information during the development evaluation of school-enterprise cooperation from the perspective of collaborative education. In this paper, the probabilistic linguistic LogTODIM-PROMETHEE (PL-LogTODIM-PROMETHEE) technique is constructed to put forward the MAGDM under PLTSs. The MEREC technique is employed to obtain the weight values under PLTSs. Finally, a numerical example for development evaluation of school-enterprise cooperation from the perspective of collaborative education is put forward to validate the LogTODIM-PROMETHEE technique.
