PERANCANGAN WEBSITE PENGELOLAAN DATA KARYAWAN UNTUK PENERAPAN KEBIJAKAN WFH PADA PT. MEDIA KOTAK PINTAR

The research conducted at PT. Media Kotak Pintar highlights the challenges arising from the adoption of Work From Home (WFH) practices, which have not been fully addressed. The company faces difficulties in managing employee data, particularly in the manual and fragmented online leave request process across different platforms. Therefore, this study aims to design a web-based system to address these issues. The research methodology employed is Prototyping, involving stages such as needs identification, rapid design, prototype development, testing, and communication with users. Figma is used for designing the website interface, while MySQL serves as the database. The designed employee data management system encompasses attendance records, salary information, and leave requests. The system aims to facilitate employees in efficiently managing their data, expediting the leave request process, and ensuring data consistency. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance the efficiency of the HR department and provide a better experience for employees in managing their data and leave processes. This research is relevant in the context of evolving work dynamics during the pandemic, where WFH has become the norm.

Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Karyawan Terbaik Menggunakan Kombinasi Metode AHP dan PROMETHEE

Employees are one of the most important assets for a company to be able to survive, develop, compete and earn profits. In an increasingly competitive business world, competition drives companies to work harder to improve their quality. And it takes maximum effort to improve employee performance. One of them is to choose the best employees in hopes of improving their performance. The difficulty in making decisions made by the HRD department in determining the best employees is due to the large amount of employee data and the selection process that still uses manual methods, causing a long processing time in decision making. Decision Support System selection of the best employees is carried out using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the weight of the criteria, as well as the use of the Preference Ranking Organization Method Of Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE) method to find the overall order/ranking. Based on the results of the process of applying the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and Preference Ranking Organization Method Of Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE) to determine the best employee performance evaluation goes to the employee with the name effendi with a score of 0.8426 where the value of each attendance criterion is 80%, “Very Good” skills, “Very Good” Teamwork, “Good” Discipline, “Good Enough” Ethics.

The challenges of personnel management for public service organizations in the era of technological disruption in Indonesia

This thesis examines the challenges of personnel management for public service organizations in the era of technological disruption in Indonesia. The advent of new technologies has significantly impacted various aspects of personnel management, including the adoption of technology-enabled HR systems, the redesigning of job roles and responsibilities, and the need for upskilling and reskilling initiatives. The thesis begins with an introduction that highlights the context and significance of the topic, followed by a thorough review of the relevant literature and theoretical frameworks. The methodology section outlines the research approach and data collection methods utilized in the study. The findings of the study reveal that the adoption of technology-enabled HR systems brings both opportunities and challenges. While these systems enhance efficiency and streamline processes, they also require careful consideration of factors such as employee training, data security, and resistance to change. Furthermore, the era of technological disruption necessitates the reevaluation and redesigning of job roles and responsibilities to align with emerging technologies. This requires organizations to proactively identify the impact of technology and develop strategies to equip employees with the skills needed for the digital age. The thesis explores the significance of enhancing employee engagement and motivation in the face of technological disruption. Clear communication, employee recognition, career development opportunities, work-life balance initiatives, empowerment in decision-making, and employee development programs are identified as crucial factors in fostering employee engagement and motivation.

Information Technology for Maintaining Records of the It Company Facilities

Accounting of premises is the process of storing, processing and manipulating accounting data of premises. In IT companies, effective premises accounting is of particular importance: it can help reduce costs, improve staff performance, and increase business efficiency. The need to keep records of the premises of an IT company always arises in the case of many offices or many manipulations of their data. Optimal use of space is one of the key factors in ensuring the efficiency of IT companies. The convenience of operational access to all the relevant information on the premises already greatly simplifies the conduct of business for IT companies. The availability of information technology with an analysis and decision- making system reduces the complexity of some accounting processes to a few mouse clicks by one of the relevant managers of the company. Study object – is the process of accounting for premises in an IT company, including the processes of collecting, processing, analysing, and displaying information necessary for efficient use of space. Scope of research - is the information technology for maintaining records of the IT company facilities, which allows to use of the space as efficiently as possible while minimizing costs. The goal this of research is to develop an IT company’s premises accounting information technology that will serve not only as a place to store and review accounting data but also as a platform for reserving places or premises and analysing their condition in accordance with regulatory documents and laws of Ukraine. The development of information technology for the accounting of premises for IT companies is a key component for solving the problem of efficient use of space and reducing costs. The developed technology allows collecting, processing, and analysing information on the use of premises in real-time, which will ensure effective control over the use of space and allow timely response to changes in requirements. This technology should be considered as a decision-making system, which not only manipulates data but also helps analyse and select information according to the user’s relevant requests. Among the important features and functions of the premise accounting technology can be attributed: to the creation, editing and deletion of premises from the system; analysis of the condition of the premises; access to all accounting and analytical data using a chatbot, which is built using an artificial intelligence system; booking a place or room for any amount of time during the day; review of current reservations of each room: review of all created reservations of a specific user; manipulation of employee data: registration, editing and deletion of users from the system, which can only be done by the manager.

Pembangunan Website Informasi Kepegawaian Pada UPTD Teknologi Komunikasi Dan Informasi Pendidikan

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a crucial element in modern life, encompassing the management, manipulation, and transfer of information across media platforms. UPTD Teknologi Komunikasi dan Informasi Pendidikan is a Structurally Integrated Service Unit under the East Kalimantan Provincial Education Office. UPTD plays a strategic role in providing technology-related services in the field of education. However, UPTD faces challenges in the inefficient and slow management of employee data, with 28 employees whose personnel data remains unoptimized. To enhance efficiency, the author plans to develop a web-based personnel information system. The problem statement includes inadequate system support, resulting in slow employee search and report generation processes. The objective of this system is to design an efficient, precise, and accurate personnel data management system, aiming to improve work productivity within UPTD Teknologi Komunikasi dan Informasi Pendidikan. The outcome of this initiative is the design of a website serving as an information portal for UPTD profile, developed using the Content Management System (CMS) WordPress.

Employees are people involved in the company organization to carry out their duties based on their position or position. The current employee performance appraisal process is still carried out manually so that the element of subjectivity is very high, in addition to the relatively large number of employees making the employee determination time longer and sometimes late. The purpose of this study is to design a Decision Support System for employee performance appraisal at Otanaha Hospital so that the appraisal process and the decisions obtained are appropriate. The method used is the Weighted Product Method because this method is more efficient and the time needed in calculations is shorter and easier. The system is designed with php and html programming. Database used MySql language, with modeling using Unified Modeling Language. The result of this study is that it can make it easier for Otanaha hospital to assess and view employee data information and the results of performance appraisals of honorary employees and civil servants

The nonlinear relationship between employee stock ownership plans and firm performance: Evidence from China

Two opposing forces (positive and negative) have been theoretically expounded to explain the relationship between employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and firm performance. However, the direction of this relationship remains a puzzle, especially in countries where state ownership is significant. This paper draws on the “Guidance on the pilot implementation of employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) by listed companies” issued by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) to assess the moderating effect of state ownership on the relationship between ESOPs and firm performance. Using employee and executive stock ownership data from 620 Chinese listed companies between 2014 and 2020, I find an inverted U-shaped relationship between employee stock ownership and firm performance. However, the inverted U-shaped relationship holds only for non-state-owned Chinese firms. Finally, a U-shaped relationship between executive ownership and company performance has been found.

One example of the latest information system developments is in the world of mining in terms of workforce management. One of the companies that requires a workforce management information system is PT Lestari Berkat Sejahtera, because this company still uses a manual workforce management system. The author has a solution, namely by creating an employee data management application. The aim of making this application is to provide easy access for HRD staff, admins and employees to view information and manage existing human resource data.

The Library and Archives Office of Samarinda City has not yet implemented an information system to facilitate the management of employee data and the Rank Order List. In light of this issue, we propose a solution and recommend the creation of a Rank Order List based on a website. The method we utilized for developing this website is data collection. The outcome of this community service is the successful creation of a website implemented in the Library and Archives Office of Samarinda City, eliminating the need for manual data input.

Development of Desktop-Based Employee Payroll: A Case Study on PT. Bio Pilar Utama

As a result of periodic shifts, technological advancements are becoming more varied. The payroll system for employees is one of them. Payroll must follow the company’s standard operating procedures (SOP) to determine several issues. Thus, the system can be customized to match the company’s specific needs and SOP. The administration and finance departments encounter difficulty processing employee payroll due to frequent errors in employee data entry, including position, department, income, and deductions. The absence of a payroll information system that can reliably and rapidly calculate employee salaries and provide timely reports has become the primary source of the difficulty. The designed employee payroll information system only processed PT. Bio Pilar Utama’s payroll data. Facilitating the administration and finance departments to input data, calculate salaries, store data, and generate reports on employee payroll could be achieved through the newly developed employee payroll information system.

Upper Airway-Related Symptoms According to Mental Illness and Sleep Disorders among Workers Employed by a Large Non-Profit Organization in the Mountain West Region of the United States.

The relationships between selected upper airway-related symptoms (speech disturbances, voice disorders, cough, and breathing abnormalities) and mental illness and sleep disorders have been previously demonstrated. However, these relationships have not been compared in a single study with consideration of potential confounding variables. The current research incorporates a descriptive study design of medical claims data for employees (~21,362 per year 2017-2021) with corporate insurance to evaluate the strength of these relationships, adjusting for demographic variables and other important confounders. The upper airway-related symptoms are each significantly and positively associated with several mental illnesses and sleep disorders, after adjusting for demographic and other potential confounders. The rate of any mental illness is 138% (95% CI 93-195%) higher for speech disturbances, 55% (95% CI 28-88%) higher for voice disorders, 28% (95% CI 22-34%) higher for cough, and 58% (95% CI 50-66%) higher for breathing abnormalities, after adjustment for the confounding variables. Confounding had significant effects on the rate ratios involving cough and breathing abnormalities. The rate of any sleep disorder is 78% (95% CI 34-136%) higher for speech disturbances, 52% (95% CI 21-89%) higher for voice disorders, 34% (95% CI 27-41%) higher for cough, and 172% (95% CI 161-184%) higher for breathing abnormalities, after adjustment for the confounding variables. Confounding had significant effects on each of the upper airway-related symptoms. Rates of mental illness and sleep disorders are positively associated with the number of claims filed for each of the upper airway-related symptoms. The comorbid nature of these conditions should guide clinicians in providing more effective treatment plans that ultimately yield the best outcome for patients.

The ability of employee disclosures to reveal private information

AbstractManagers may provide incomplete disclosure for various reasons (e.g., high processing costs, operating uncertainty, proprietary concerns, agency conflicts, etc.). In contrast, rank‐and‐file employees face fewer of these limitations. Through “wisdom of the crowd” displayed on social media, employees can aggregate their individual private beliefs to provide an informative business outlook. Using employee data from Glassdoor.com, we find that employee business outlook disclosures reveal more information in loan spreads of private lending contracts when firms have more opaque information environments. Furthermore, we observe that employee disclosures help to reveal more private information when the business outlook is worsening and as employees’ collective knowledge increases. This relation is more prominent when employees are expecting worsening performance, consistent with employee disclosures revealing more private bad news. Our study demonstrates the conditions under which employee disclosures on social media are more likely to disseminate private information.

E-HRM SYSTEM AT THE FISH BREEDING RESEARCH CENTER (BRPI) SUKAMANDI USING WATERFALL METHOD

This research discusses the theme of developing an information system for human resource management (HR) at the Sukamandi Fish Breeding Research center(BRPI). Some processes at BRPI are still carried out in common ways, such as applying for leave, transferring employees, pension information, and preparing reports. This condition results in problems that arise, such as delays in managing and processing employee information and data by Civil Service Staff. This is designing an e-HRM (electronic-Human Resource Management) information system that can produce accurate information in a short time, as well as providing a reference basis for agencies in overcoming existing problems. The research method used is the waterfall development model which begins with analyzing user needs based on the actors involved, designing tailored to user needs, implementation, verification and the final stage of maintenance. The discussion in this research includes employee data management, such as employee transfers, leave requests, pension information, and making reports at BRPI Sukamandi. The result of this research is to design and build an information system for BRPI Sukamandi that makes it easier for Civil Service staff to organize, process and maintain data about personnel (employees) and then increase the productivity of each employee.

 Working remotely or what we know as Work From Anywhere is still a trend after the COVID-19 pandemic. Working from anywhere and anytime can increase productivity and reduce transportation costs, and is accompanied by fast internet support, good communication and collaboration platforms so this is very popular and in demand. When implementing WFA, it has its own challenges, namely data security. Not all organizations are supported by a reliable IT infrastructure that can protect employee data during WFA. One of the security system technologies that can be used during WFA is VPN. Currently there are many VPN protocols that can be used for WFA. However, in implementing a VPN network, there are several things that must be considered to ensure that the VPN network is successful and functional, such as security, choosing the right architecture, selecting technology and protocols, scalability, quality of service, management and monitoring, as well as security and privacy policies. ZeroTier is a next-generation VPN that is easy to configure, can support multiple devices, and uses an end-to-end connection, eliminating the need for a centralized VPN server. In implementing VPN ZeroTier the method used is the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC). This methodology is used to plan, implement, and manage a VPN network with ZeroTier to function according to WFA needs.

Customer complaints service is one of the spearheads of increasing customer satisfaction. The intended customer is the employee of the company itself. Coordinated and complete customer complaint handling can provide a positive image of the company / organization. Complete and effective services need to be supported by a coordinated system and cover an entire service cycle that begins with making a complaint, receiving a complaint, updating the complaint status or recapitulation of incoming complaints as a reference for management to assess which domains the customer complains about. This customer complaints management information system is designed to help PT. Semen Baturaja Tbk Palembang to manage and monitor customer complaints. This system focuses on the delivery of complaints from customers based on the type of complaint submitted. Incoming complaints are recorded and then delegated to related parties, as well as monitored the settlement status of the complaint. In this system can also manage customer registrants and company employees to be able to submit complaints and any process in changing the status of complaints or employee data and customer data stored in the report. This system can help management to improve the quality of service, so as to increase customer satisfaction. The method of making the system include system analysis in the form of Flow Chart, system design in the form of Context Diagram, DFD, Use Case Diagram and Activity Diagram The result of the system is applied into web design using PHP programming language and database management using MySQl with Apache web server.

Rancang Bangun Aplikasi pengelola Data Pekerja Berbasis Website Di BRI Kendari Cabang Samratulangi

The large number of workers managed makes it difficult for BRI officers at the Samratulangi branch to manage them. Management of employee data at the Samratulangi branch of BRI was previously managed via Microsoft Excel. Management carried out manually causes several problems, including the difficulty of identifying workers whose work terms have expired and the number of workers being managed is quite large and takes a long time. This problem can be solved by building a worker data management application. Application development is carried out using the prototype method. In this research, the application is designed to be able to manage workers' data well, be able to manage workers' attendance, know the active status of workers, and be able to issue Specified Time Work Agreement Decree in a timely manner. Based on the prototype method, researchers carry out the communication stage to obtain information about the problems faced by users. At the Quick plan and Modeling quick design stage, researchers began to design the UML and display in prototype form to then create a User Interface. Next, at the Feedback and Delivery stage, researchers ask for feedback and suggestions regarding the application that has been created which will then be developed and improved according to user input. So the system is created so that users can run the system according to their needs. Based on the test results using a blackbox, the system is designed according to its function and use.

Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pegawai Berbasis Desktop (Studi Kasus: LPP RRI Jayapura)

Human Resources Management Information System (HRMIS) is a critical element in organizations or institutions to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of employee data management. This research discusses the development of a desktop-based HRMIS at LPP RRI Jayapura to overcome challenges in employee data processing, such as the lack of user understanding of the existing system and issues in personnel administration. The research method used is the waterfall approach with steps including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The research location focuses on the HR and General Affairs department of LPP RRI Jayapura. Data collection is done through observation and interviews with the Head of the Administrative Division. The results of the research include system design, database table structure, user interface, and black box testing. This system features the management of job positions, ranks, employees, spouses, children, promotion, mutation, and report generation. Black box testing indicates that the system functions well. The conclusion of this research is that the development of a desktop-based HRMIS can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of employee data management at LPP RRI Jayapura. This system is expected to provide solutions to existing challenges and enhance the performance of personnel management in the institution.

Company PT. XYZ still uses conventional methods in recruiting employees and managing data, therefore a website-based system will be built to help the world of work face competition in the current era of globalization. The method used in this program uses the waterfall model method. This research will produce a recruitment and employee data processing system that utilizes technological developments to help companies and prospective employees so that all stages run more effectively and efficiently.
