Digital media plays a crucial role in developing critical thinking skills in science learning in elementary schools in the 21st century. This research aims to explore the impact of using digital media in improving students' critical thinking skills. The literature review research method is carried out by analyzing various books and journals, where students are introduced to science learning through various interactive digital media. In this context, the application of digital media in science learning in elementary schools not only helps students understand scientific concepts, but also empowers them with essential critical thinking skills to face the demands of the 21st century world. The implications of these findings can provide a basis for the development of more innovative and relevant learning strategies in the future.

The influence of the guided discovery learning model on critical thinking abilities and scientific attitudes

This research aims to examine improving students' critical thinking skills and scientific attitudes using the Guided Discovery Learning learning model. Critical thinking and scientific attitudes are important aspects to develop in learning, especially in science learning in elementary schools. Critical thinking is part of the cognitive work process and a scientific attitude develops affective aspects. A quasi-experimental study using a pretest-posttest control group design is the research methodology. Students in the fifth grade at SDN Bukit Duri 05 in South Jakarta served as the research subjects. The control group received therapy using the Free Discovery Learning learning model, whereas the experimental group received treatment using the Guided Discovery Learning learning model. According to the study's findings, there was no difference between the experimental class's and the control group's early critical thinking skills. The results showed that there was no difference between the experimental class and the control class in terms of early scientific attitude abilities. Additionally, compared to students in the control class, those in the experimental class showed a different growth in critical thinking abilities. Lastly, it was discovered that the experimental class and the control class had different rising scientific views.

Analysis of Pre-Test and Post-Test Results of Motor Skills through the Implementation of Small Games in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PESH) Learning in Elementary Schools

This research aims to evaluate the impact of implementing small games in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PESH) learning on the improvement of motor skills among elementary school students. The research method employed is a pure experiment with a quantitative approach. Data was collected from 17 students through motor ability tests, including the Shuttle Run, throw and catch ball, and Stork Stand Positional Balance tests. Pre-test and post-test results were analyzed to obtain average scores, standard deviations, and variances. The research findings indicate an enhancement in students' motor skills following the implementation of small games in PESH learning. In the Shuttle Run test, there was an increase in the average score from the pre-test (19.2141) to the post-test (18.7294). The throw and catch ball test also exhibited an improvement in the average score from the pre-test (16.4118) to the post-test (19.6471). In the Stork Stand Positional Balance test, an increase in motor skills was also observed, with the average score shifting from the pre-test (11.3618) to the post-test (7.9676). Furthermore, statistical analysis also indicates a decrease in the standard deviations and variances in the post-test results compared to the pre-test, indicating an enhancement in measurement consistency. This improvement reaches approximately 13.73% in the enhancement of students' motor skills. The results of this research offer positive implications for the effectiveness of using small games to enhance students' motor skills within PESH learning. This underscores the significance of creative and playful approaches in optimizing the learning process to achieve holistic physical education objectives.

Evaluation of the Effectiveness of ADLX-Based Curriculum Management in Integrated Learning: Case Study in an Islamic Elementary School in DKI Jakarta Province

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of Active Deep Learning Experience (ADLX) Based Curriculum Management in the context of integrated learning in Islamic Elementary Schools in DKI Jakarta Province. This research methodology uses a case study approach with a focus on the process of implementing ADLX and integrating integrated learning in the school. This research involves an in-depth analysis of the ADLX curriculum management strategy implemented in Islamic Elementary Schools. Data was collected through classroom observations, interviews with school administrators and teachers, as well as analysis of documents related to curriculum and integrated learning. Evaluation is carried out by paying attention to aspects of effectiveness, efficiency and impact on students' understanding and learning motivation. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of implementing ADLX-Based Curriculum Management in the context of integrated learning at the Islamic Elementary School level. It is hoped that the implications of this research finding can contribute to the improvement and development of curriculum policies and provide direction for educational practitioners in optimizing the use of ADLX-based technology in integrated learning.

The Effect of Numbered Head Together (NHT) Model on Elementary School Learning Motivation (Literature Study)

Penelitian bertujuan dalam rangka mengukur rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS, yang dikarenakan kurangnya inovasi guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM). Tujuan penelitian ini guna mengetahui pengaruhnya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) Terhadap motivasi belajar IPS di sekolah dasar . Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik penelitian kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan analisis studi literatur yang pengambilan datanya atau instrumen-instrumen penelitian dari sumber primer dan sumber sekunder. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data primer dan data sekunder maka diperoleh bahwa pembelajaran yang diterapkan dengan model Numbered Head Together (NHT) berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar IPS. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran yang menggunakan strategi atau model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap motivasi belajarnya lebih rendah (hasil belajar).Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) Terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS.

English is an important international language used in various areas of life. Therefore, improving the ability to speak English at the elementary school level is a must to face increasingly complex global challenges. Learning English in elementary school is not just about understanding grammatical structures and vocabulary, but also developing effective speaking skills. This study aimed to determine the improvement of speaking skills in English language learning in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection tools in the form of literature studies. The conclusion is that learners' rejection of the teaching and learning process should be viewed as a "neutral" attitude, which is not related to good and bad values. The positive affective strategy is represented by four behaviors: laughter to show pleasure or satisfaction, smiling to show satisfaction, and showing pleasure because funny things are fun.

Learning in elementary schools involves various challenges and problems, especially those related to students' developmental characteristics. Teachers are expected to be able to design and implement learning that is appropriate to students' cognitive, social and emotional development. Students' learning motivation in elementary schools can be a serious obstacle, affecting the achievement of learning outcomes. Classroom management is considered the key to creating an effective learning atmosphere and motivating students. This research aims to determine the classroom management patterns implemented by elementary school teachers in the city of Surabaya regarding the problem of low student learning motivation. This research is qualitative research with a multi case study type, using the Explanatory Survey method. The informants consisted of 23 elementary school teachers in the city of Surabaya, selected using a cluster random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through interviews, and data analysis was carried out descriptively qualitatively. The research results show that the main obstacle in learning is students' passivity and noise which is triggered by low learning motivation. Some teachers apply a Student-Centered Learning (SCL) approach to overcome this problem, placing students as active subjects. Classroom rules, learning contracts, and inspirational stories are considered effective classroom management strategies. Teachers also provide interactive feedback and emphasize an emotional approach to increase students' sensitivity.

This research method uses the research and development method. This research aims to develop student learning modules that are suitable for student learning in lower grades, and improve the quality of teacher teaching in learning. The research was carried out at SDN 054905 Paya Redas with research subject II. The results of the research that has been carried out show that there are several students who have difficulty reading, there are still students who cannot distinguish letters and have not memorized the letters of the alphabet. One method that can motivate students to improve their learning is by using the SAS ( Synthetic Structural Analytical ) Method. Data collection techniques use documentation and questionnaires, while data analysis techniques use percentages . The result of the development stage is to produce a reading module product. Thus, it can be concluded that the development of reading skills modules is based on Synthetic Structural Analytical (SAS) is included in the very valid or very feasible category. Thus, it can be concluded that the feasibility of the beginning reading and writing module based on Synthetic Analytical Structural (SAS) in class II elementary school learning is included in the very feasible category.

Teacher Evaluation of Islamic Religious Education Subjects as Improving the Quality of Student Learning at SDIT UMMI Bengkulu City

Purpose of the study: The purpose of this evaluation research is to explore in depth the performance of teachers in learning activities as material for evaluating the learning system at SDIT UMMI Bengkulu City. In the standard learning implementation process which consists of 3 stages or dimensions, namely: planning the learning process, implementing the learning process, and assessing the learning process.
 Methodology: This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive data type. This research was conducted at SDIT UMMI Bengkulu City. Data collection is carried out using interview techniques or questionnaires. In this research, the researcher collaborated with 2 teachers and the Head of SDIT UMMI Bengkulu City.
 Main Findings: Based on the results of interviews with Islamic Religious Education subject teachers at SDIT UMMI Bengkulu City, planning, implementation and assessment were good. Likewise, attention from foundations and school principals who give full attention to teachers so that they can continue to develop their potential and improve their teaching performance.
 Novelty/Originality of this study: Evaluation is a measuring tool and an effort to determine the level of success achieved. Evaluation activities are able to provide information about deficiencies or possible errors that need to be corrected in the future. Evaluation activities can encourage teachers to improve the quality of education in the future. This research is a novelty from previous research as a reference for improving the quality of student learning in elementary schools.

The utilization of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) in elementary school learning

This research aims to explore the use of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) in the learning context at the elementary school level. The research approach applied was qualitative with a focus on case studies at SD Negeri 16 Banda Aceh, class 4. Data collection was carried out through classroom observations, interviews and document analysis. The research results show that the integration of TPACK in learning in elementary schools has a positive impact. Teachers have succeeded in integrating information and communication technology (ICT) well in planning and implementing learning. They use various ICT tools and applications that are appropriate to the learning content as well as effective teaching strategies. In addition, teachers are also able to apply pedagogical and content knowledge effectively to facilitate interesting and meaningful learning for students. There are several challenges faced by teachers in implementing TPACK. Some obstacles include limited access to ICT devices and resources, lack of training capable of developing TPACK competencies, as well as obstacles in integrating TPACK into the existing elementary school curriculum. The findings of this research provide a deeper understanding of the use of TPACK in learning at the elementary school level. The implications of this research can be the basis for developing teaching materials and educational policies that support the integration of TPACK in the learning process in elementary schools.

The Use of ICT as a Resource and Media for Modern 21st Century Learning in Primary Schools

The advancement of technology and information makes human life easier, but at the same time it makes some humans lack morals and behave badly due to lack of socialization. Behind all the bad impacts on the development of technology, there are also positive impacts in it, such as in the field of education. One of the positive impacts is ICT (Information and Communication Technology) learning media. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) as a Source and Media for Modern 21st Century Learning in Elementary Schools. This research uses quantitative methods, data obtained from distributing questionnaires and through interviews. The results of the study explain that the usefulness of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) as a source and modern learning media in elementary school children is very useful and helps students in carrying out learning. The conclusion of this study explains the usefulness of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) as a source and modern learning media in elementary school children is very helpful in the learning process. The researcher realizes the limitations of this study were only conducted in elementary schools in one of the districts in West Sumatra province, the researcher hopes that future researchers can conduct the same research with a wider range in order to continue this research. Researchers also recommend to researchers who will continue to be a benchmark in conducting research related to the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) as a modern learning resource and media in elementary schools.

Vocabulary learning for slow learner students in inclusive elementary schools: A case of Magetan Regency, East Java, Indonesia

This study aimed to describe and explain the conditions for learning vocabulary for slow learners in inclusive elementary schools. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach. Sampling was carried out on students with slow learners at 10 inclusive elementary schools in Magetan Regency, East Java, Indonesia, which were selected based on regional considerations. The data sources selected were 10 special accompanying teachers, vocabulary learning activities in class, and documents or archives related to slow learners. Data collection techniques include passive participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses an interactive analysis model, which is carried out through three activity flows: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the vocabulary of slow learners is minimal when compared to that of other normal students. Slow-learner students have difficulty using vocabulary in reading and writing and are weak at stringing letters into words. Factors that hinder slow learners’ vocabulary mastery include being less accustomed to using Indonesian and the lack of support from parents. Teaching materials taught by the teacher include the introduction of new terms, synonyms, antonyms, and standard words, filling in gaps in sentences, and constructing sentences with the available words.

Implementasi Ekopedagogi Dalam Pembelajaran Sekolah Dasar : Meningkatkan Kesadaran Lingkungan Dan Keterlibatan Siswa

This research aims to find out how ecopedagogy is implemented in elementary school learning to increase environmental awareness and student involvement. This article was prepared using the systematic literature review (SLR) method. Searches were carried out using Google Schooler. In the initial stage of the journal search, 235 journal articles were obtained with a time limit, namely from 2014 to 2023. The procedure for searching and selecting articles in this study used preferred reporting items for systematic reviews & meta-analyses (PRISMA). Ecopedagogy discusses three main areas, namely technical ecoliteracy , critical ecoliteracy, and cultural ecoliteracy. The implementation of ecopedagogical integration in elementary school management which aims to instill environmental character values ​​from generation to generation can be carried out in several forms, namely integration in the curriculum and learning by including an understanding of ecology in the subjects or materials taught and the application of methods or media. Environmentally caring character education aims to instill values ​​and awareness of the environment in students. Case studies of the application of ecopedagogy in education show that it can be applied through digital media and multi-dominant learning to develop cognitive, psychomotor and environmental awareness. Barriers to implementing environmentally caring character education in schools include internal factors such as students' bad habits and lack of knowledge, as well as external factors such as inadequate learning support equipment and lack of cooperation between teachers and parents. Collaboration between teachers, students, parents, and the community is essential for successful implementation.

Objective: This research serves as a preliminary study to outline the framework and projection of ethnomathematics studies, particularly concerning the integration of ethnomathematics into mathematics curriculum and the development of mathematics learning objectives using an ethnomathematical approach. Method: The research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology involving identifying, evaluating, and interpreting relevant literature on the research topic. Results: The findings reveal that the ethnomathematical approach effectively enhances students' understanding of mathematics. Students exhibit higher motivation and satisfaction with mathematics learning when connected to their local culture. Novelty: This research shows that the ethnomathematics approach facilitates the development of teachers' competencies in integrating cultural elements into mathematics education. Both teachers' recommendations and research findings support the inclusion of ethnomathematics in mathematics curricula both directly in developing learning tools and materials and in curriculum policies. Additionally, there is potential for technology applications to support ethnomathematics learning, enabling students to study mathematics independently. In conclusion, integrating ethnomathematics holds significant potential in improving students' mathematical understanding, connecting mathematics with local culture, and motivating students to learn mathematics more enjoyable and relevantly.

Qualitative research method with descriptive data display is the method used in this research, with three important stages, namely data collection through interviews, observations, and document studies, data reduction to conclusion drawing, and data validity testing with triangulation techniques. Innovation in fine arts learning in class IV SD Negeri Balaraja I is carried out by increasing teacher competence in fine arts learning, and developing fine arts learning activities by optimizing the use of technology in learning, Technology is also used to establish cooperation and collaboration with parents and partners. It aims to create innovative fine art learning and the ability of students to create original and varied works of art.

It involves the use of various methods, techniques, and approaches to organize the learning process. The strategy must be in accordance with the needs and characteristics of students. In the educational context, learning strategies are the basis for teachers in designing effective and meaningful learning experiences for students. This includes selecting subject matter, determining appropriate strategies, and the required learning media. Digital-based technology in learning in elementary schools is a very useful advancement in the learning and teaching process where there are digital aspects of resource books, assignments, assessments and student attendance books that can be used in the school environment and become preschool infrastructure. And digital technology is a more effective communication tool when designing a more student-oriented environment where teachers can develop creative skills in digital science.

The Effectiveness of Interactive Learning Media Based on Adobe Flash in Improving Learning Achievement at Primary Schools

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Adobe Flash-based interactive learning media that is used in improving the learning outcomes of elementary school students. Student learning outcomes must be improved in order to have competencies by learning outcomes and graduate quality standards. Primary school is the foundation in the education system that must be followed by every student. If a student receives a good and quality education and learning in elementary school, it will be easier to get an education and to learn at the next level of education. The use of adobe flash-based interactive learning media can help students to learn better and easier to understand the learning material. Teachers can create learning to enjoy learning systems and improve student learning achievement. This research uses research and development (R&D) design to produce an adobe flash-based interactive learning media product. The product is firstly carried out due diligence by media experts and learning material experts, which are then conducted experiments. The experiments were carried out on 35 students as the experimental class and 35 students as the control class. Data collected through observation and test student learning outcomes. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and t-tests to determine differences in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class. Based on the overall assessment results of each stage that has been passed, the interactive learning media based on Adobe Flash is feasible to use and shows an increase in student learning outcomes in primary schools. Student achievement using adobe flash-based learning media is better than student achievement in the control class. Teachers can use adobe flash-based interactive learning media in improving the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. This media is very appropriate to be developed in creating a fun learning for students by developing more new teaching materials and motivating students to study hard.

The Effectiveness of Tonglish Application in English Language Learning for Elementary School Students

English language learning in primary schools has an important role in forming the basis of foreign language skills for students, and early mastery of English is considered a worthwhile educational investment for the future. However, challenges in English learning at the primary school level are often related to low student motivation, conventional teaching methods, and limited teaching resources. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Tonglish application in English language learning in elementary schools. The app is designed to improve students’ English skills through interactive features such as vocabulary quizzes and learning videos. This research uses quantitative experimental method with a True Experimental Design, namely Pretest-Post-test Control Group Design. Two groups of students from grade 5 of SD Muhammadiyah Ambarketawang 2 were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group used the Tonglish app for two meetings, while the control group did not use the app. Data were collected through a pretest and post-test consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions on? The results showed that there was a significant difference between the English scores of students who studied using the Tonglish application compared to those who did not. The average score of students who used the Tonglish app was 84.40, while students who did not use the app were 51.40. What about the statistical result showing the significance of the implemented app?; Then there should be hypothesis testing? The use of the English app significantly improves elementary school students’ learning outcomes in English subject.
