Ideological Battles Ahead of The First General Election in South Sulawesi

This study focuses on the ideological struggle in the 1955 elections in South Sulawesi. The practice of democracy made SARA the main menu of its implementation. Collected in electoral district twelve, South Sulawesi was in a tense political situation—the relaxation of the rules for organizing elections added to the dark traces of organizing this democratic party. The historical method is used in this research, which formulates research problems from a historical perspective. Prediksi Ancaman Keamanan dan Antisipasinya Pada Pemilu Serentak 2024

ABSTRACT: The aim of the article is to provide a prediction of the threat of simultaneous elections in 2024 by highlighting the threat of absenteeism or white groups, the threat of delays in election logistics, the threat of identity politics, the threat of successful team conflict, and the threat of security disturbances. The method used is a literature review from secondary sources related to threat prediction and anticipation. The findings in this article show that the readiness and cooperation of election organizers, the police and political parties is very important to reduce and manage threats from the beginning to the end of the 2024 simultaneous elections.

Mitigasi Risiko Dan Jaminan Social Bagi Penyelenggara Pemilu 2024

Abstract; It is the constitutional mandate of the Republic of Indonesia to make elections a means of popular sovereignty and to be held every 5 years. Reflecting on the 2019 experience, elections were held simultaneously based on the Constitutional Court Decision MK No. 14/PUU-XI/2013 which simultaneously held presidential elections and national parliamentary elections and was followed up in Law No. 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections which also simultaneously held local parliamentary elections (provincial and district/city DPRD) along with presidential-vice presidential elections and parliamentary elections national (DPR and DPD). In the future 2024 elections it has been anticipated through a strict recruitment process for election organizers and for social security the Presidential Instruction of the Republic of Indonesia has been issued Number 2 of 2021 concerning Optimizing the Implementation of the Employment Social Security Program.

OPTIMIZATION OF SIMP (SOLIDITY, INTEGRITY, MENTALITY, PROFESSIONALITY) ELECTION SUPERVISORS TO ACHIEVE DEMOCRATIC, HONEST AND FAIR ELECTIONS

A democratic country is a country whose government is run based on the principle of popular sovereignty. Popular sovereignty means that the people have the ultimate power to determine state policies and regulations. The people can use this power in various ways, such as elections, referendums, and petitions. The purpose of this writing is to maximize the performance of general election supervisors to realize democratic, honest and fair general elections. The research method uses descriptive qualitative analysis using data taken from literature sources and then analyzed. The results of the study that as election organizers must have an attitude of solidarity, integrity, mentality and professionalism. The responsibility of the election supervisor is the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu). Bawaslu as an institution responsible for implementing general elections is obliged to improve the loyalty, performance and behavior of election supervisors in order to achieve democratic, honest and fair general elections. Optimizing the behavior of election supervisors to improve integrity can be done with technical guidance, consolidation between election administrators and digitalization of supervisory applications

Participation of Special Needs Communities in the 2019 Legislative Elections in Medan City

This article explores the participation of individuals with special needs/disabilities in the 2019 legislative elections in Medan City. Despite numerous regulations governing the rights and participation of disabled voters in elections, their political rights, particularly the right to vote, are often overlooked in practice. This is evident in their low participation rates in elections, especially in Medan City. The research aims to assess the level of participation and political behavior of disabled individuals in elections and evaluate the efforts of the Medan City Election Commission (KPU) in enhancing their participation. The research method employed is qualitative descriptive, using interviews and in-depth analysis as data collection techniques. The findings indicate inaccurate data regarding disabled individuals in Medan City and low participation rates due to the lack of professionalism among polling station officers in data collection and services. This study recommends recruiting polling station officers based on qualifications and relevant experience to provide maximum and professional services in their duties. The data updating process should also be improved through collaboration between election organizers, the Department of Social Affairs, and the Department of Population and Civil Registration to collect data on disabled individuals in Medan City more effectively. Demokratisasi Kedaulatan Rakyat Dalam Pemilihan Kepala Daerah Serentak Tahun 2024

Article 1 paragraph 2 of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia states that sovereignty is in the hands of the people. In the concept of a democratic state, the people have the sovereignty to choose state leaders to realize the ideals of the Indonesian state, one of which is to educate the nation's life and prosper its people. Elections and Pilkada are the main gateways for implementing sovereignty as mandated by the Constitution. However, the implementation of elections and regional elections which are often marred by the many frauds and deviations in practice makes the existence of the people's sovereignty questioned. The legal issues studied in this study are realizing people's sovereignty in regional head elections as well as the concept of regional head elections in a democratic country. The results of the research show that the new people's sovereignty will really be realized when the people are free in choosing, the regional election organizers maintain neutrality so that the regional elections are far from fraudulent in short true sovereignty will be realized if the principle of fairness and justice is successfully implemented.

Prevention of Election Violations on The Money Political Mode Conducted by Candidate Members of the 2024 Legislative

The research specification used in this research is descriptive analytical method by explaining, describing, and correlating legal regulations and theories with the problems that occur. The results of the study show that efforts to prevent election violations related to the money politics mode committed by legislative candidates in 2024 can be carried out through several steps, including the government must strictly enforce the law against money politics violations. SISTEM PEMILIHAN UMUM (PEMILU) JOKO WIDODO - JUSUF KALLA TAHUN 2014

The 2014 General Election of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia (2014 Pilpres) was held on 9 July 2014 to elect the President and Vice President of Indonesia for the 2014-2019 period. The announcement of the results of the 2014 presidential and vice-presidential elections was won by the Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla pair by obtaining a vote of 53.15% in accordance with the KPU RI decision on July 22, 2014. Research using a qualitative approach emphasizes the analysis of inductive thinking processes related to the dynamics of relationships between observed phenomena, and always uses scientific logic. Observation of the concept of accountability, this study focuses on finding weaknesses or deficiencies in the implementation of financial management. This study took the KPU of North Sumatra Province as the research area. With a focus on the implementation of financial management in the implementation of the 2019 Election. The main reason for this research is that since the establishment of this institution as an Election Organizer, even though the KPU has succeeded in holding the Election, in terms of financial management the KPU has not yet received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the BPK. So the researcher feels that it is necessary to look for the causes of not going well with accountability at the KPU office of North Sumatra Province through this scientific research. This scientific research is carried out based on conceptual studies and through analysis using scientific research methods that can be scientifically justified and effective. So based on this assumption, researchers are interested in conducting research with the title analysis of the quality of financial reports at the General Elections Commission secretariat of North Sumatra Province.

The Role of Regional Bawaslu as a Supervisor in the Prevention and Hndling of Election Administration Violations in the City of Sukabumi

Background. General elections are held simultaneously, including the election of members of the House of Representatives, members of the Regional Representative Council, President and Vice President, and to elect members of the Regional People's Representative Council, where in each process towards general elections there are several stages that need to be carried out by election participants. Purpose. In the general election stages, there are often negligence committed by election participants, one of which is election administration violations, election administration violations are violations committed by election participants or election organizers during the election stages. Method. In this research, the author uses normative juridical research methods that are qualitative in nature. Results. Based on the findings made by the Sukabumi City Bawaslu, there were 19 findings of administrative violations in Sukabumi City committed by 2019 election participants, including 16 violations of campaign props and 3 violations of campaigns without notification letters to the police. From the findings by the Sukabumi City Bawaslu related to administrative violations, the Sukabumi City Bawaslu is authorized to receive, examine, review, decide reports from the public or findings by the Election Supervisor related to alleged election administration violations. From the alleged violation of election administration, the settlement uses a fast event in accordance with Article 40 of Perbawaslu No. 8 of 2022. From the many findings of alleged election administration violations, Bawaslu of Sukabumi City made several prevention efforts including appeals, Bawaslu of Sukabumi City delivered appeals to the community, election officials, and election officials. Conclusion. This study aims to determine the state of political literacy of the Keboansikepl community, as well as to understand the role of the KPU in the context of the state of political literacy. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach, to reveal phenomena related to political literacy based on the results of research documents conducted by the Sidoarjo Regency KPU. as well as information from informants from the KPU of East Java Province. The results of the study conclude that the state of political literacy in the Keboansikep community is still very limited only to literacy related to the electoral process and does not reflect education that is oriented towards strengthening the system of understanding and actualizing the rights and obligations of citizens. The new political education is carried out by the KPU through socialization activities, technical guidance (technical guidance) and voter education which it will carry out in the context of the agenda for the stages of the election that will be held as election organizers. The state does not yet have an educational program to improve systemic and sustainable political literacy. The disappointment of the voting community towards the attitude and performance of the leaders and representatives of the people from the general election results in an anomalous phenomenon where the public is known to have knowledge and understanding of politics but it is not consistent with their attitudes and behavior. Legal Politics of Holding the 2024 Elections the Absolute and Ideal and Constitutional

Background. The holding of simultaneous elections on April 17 2019 is a new history in the general election process in Indonesia. This is an implication of the Constitutional Court Decision Number 14/PUU/2013 in the case of reviewing Law Number 42 of 2008 concerning the General Election of the President and Vice President. Even though the simultaneous elections have been judged to be better than the previous elections, it does not mean that they do not have deficiencies in their implementation. Purpose. The most shocking problem was the large number of fatalities by election organizers which were considered to be the impact of the 2019 simultaneous election and other technical problems. Method. Looking at the various sides that emerged from the 2019 elections, the Association for Elections and Democracy (Perludem) conducted a judicial review of the 1945 Constitution to the Constitutional Court as outlined in the Constitutional Court Decision Number 55/PUU-XVII/2019. Results. In his argument, the applicant conveyed a number of things related to the analysis that had been carried out in the implementation of the simultaneous elections which were held in 2019 yesterday. PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT KOTA SOLOK MELALUI KOMUNIKASI PUBLIK: UPAYA MENINGKATKAN PARTISIPASI PEMILIH PADA PEMILU TAHUN 2024

The communication referred to here is the use of appropriate strategies in communicating. The results of this service explain to the Ad HoC Paitian about various strategies that can be used to communicate. Juridical Review of the Arrangement of Duties and Functions of the Tolitoli Regency KPU Secretariat in the Implementation of General Elections According to Law Number 7 of 2017

KPU is an institution that holds the mandate of the 1945 Constitution as Election Organizer in Indonesia. The purpose of this writing is to find out the legal arrangements of the two internal institutional elements between the Tolitoli Regency KPU Membership and the Tolitoli Regency KPU Secretariat in the success of the General Election. The method used is the normative legal method and from the collected data, it will then be identified for further processing and qualitative analysis. Analysis of Polling Station Supervisor Recruitment (Ptps) in Kecamatan Welcome to The 2020 Samarinda Mayor and Vice Mayor Elections

This study aims to determine the Recruitment and Selection of Polling Station Supervisors in the Welcome District in the 2020 Samarinda Mayor and Vice Mayor Elections and their supporting and inhibiting factors. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research. Sampling technique with purposive sampling technique. For data collection techniques, including 1) In-depth interviews, 2) Observation participation, and 3) Documentation studies. As for data analysis techniques, namely Miles and Huberman's interactive model data analysis techniques. The results of the study showed: 1) The screening carried out by the Panwaslu of the Welcome District for Prospective TPS Supervisors in the Welcome District, in this case, is related to the completeness of administrative files, such as Application Forms, Statement Letters, e-KTP, K.K., Diplomas, and other supporting documents. The screening of TPS Supervisory Candidates is more about the material aspect, where the Recruitment Committee examines the files of TPS Supervisory Candidates in the TWelcome District in more depth. Most of the deaths of polling station supervisory candidates in the TWelcome sub-district are due to ties with fellow election organizers, such as their husbands/wives also being KPPS, being involved as members of political parties, the team of one of the candidates, and the e-KTP concerned has been recorded as supporting independent candidates. In the process of selecting TPS Supervisory Candidates in TWelcome District who will later be assigned as TPS Supervisors at 122 polling stations spread across Sambutan District, some of the essential assessment indicators are experience in elections, understanding of election regulations, and being able to apply for the Siwaslu program. Supporting Factors in the Recruitment of Polling Place Supervisors (PTPS) in the 2020 Samarinda Mayor and Deputy Mayor Elections, namely 1) High public interest and interest to be involved in elections, primarily registering to become a Polling Station Supervisor in Welcome District and 2) The growing use of electronic media facilitates information related to Polling Station Supervisor Recruitment in Sambutan District. The Inhibiting Factors in the Recruitment of Polling Station Supervisors (PTPS) in the 2020 Samarinda Mayor and Deputy Mayor Elections, namely 1) The situation and conditions of Covid-19 make people reluctant to do activities in crowded places, 2) Most people who have an interest in becoming polling station supervisors must be aborted because the e-KTP concerned has been recorded as an independent person supporter, 3) Most people who have an interest in becoming polling station supervisors must be dropped because they do not meet the qualifications in terms of age and education level, and 4) The Welcome District Panwaslu must compete with the Welcome District Election Committee (PPK) and Candidate Pairs, because at the same time, the KDP recruits the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS), even numbering 7 (seven) people per polling station, plus the Prospective Spouse who recruits his Witnesses.

Meningkatkan Kualitas Pemilu Serentak Tahun 2024 Melalui Pemanfaatan Teknologi Digital

Holding elections in a democratic country like Indonesia is an implementation of people's sovereignty and is used to elect executive and legislative leaders and form a new government to improve people's welfare. Utilization of digital technology, especially social media, is important in holding simultaneous elections in 2024 to expedite the election process as well as a medium of communication and information to the public or voters. This paper aims to examine the extent of the role of digital technology in facilitating the 2024 simultaneous election stages and encouraging increased public participation. Based on the results of the study it is known that digital technology is used in the election stages by organizers and plays a role in helping the process of organizing election stages to be more efficient, fast, accurate and transparent. On the other hand, improving the skills and expertise of election organizers also needs to be done to increase professionalism and prevent mistakes.

DAYA DUKUNG POLITIK DALAM PEMILIHAN UMUM KEPALA DAERAH (STUDI HISTORIS KONFLIK PEMILUKADA TOLITOLI TAHUN 2010)

Overlapping KPU decisions regarding the status of Aziz Bestari's participation in the 2010 local leaders election of Tolitoli after his deputy Amirudin passed away at the campaign stage sparked anger and vertically violent conflict. The research aims to determine the political carrying capacity in the 2010 Tolitoli post-conflict local election. The research method used is qualitative with a historical research type, where the data source comes from previous research studies, interview documents, stories of original actors and eyewitnesses to the 2010 post-conflict local election conflict, authentic evidence in the form of KPUD's archives, photos, newspapers, online media, literature, and applicable laws/regulations. The informants were 11 people determined by purposive sampling. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using data analysis techniques according to B. Mathew Miles and A. Michael Huberman. The results of the study, the KPU's decision in the 2010 Tolitoli Regency post-conflict local election damaged the values of harmony in society, the interpretation of Article 63 paragraph 2 of Law No.32/2004 was not easy to understand, especially by the implementor, there was a violation of the election organizers' code of ethics, and the attitude of the KPUD those who print new ballots without waiting for the decision of the Constitutional Court.

PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PENGAWASAN PEMILU DI DESA NGUJUNG, KECAMATAN MAOSPATI, KABUPATEN MAGETAN

The purpose of writing this journal is to achieve balance and realize a democratic state based on Pancasila. Bawaslu Regulation Regulation of the General Election Supervisory Agency Number 21 of 2018 concerning Supervision of the Implementation of General Elections which regulates forms of public participation. The method used in the implementation of community service uses legal and practical counseling methods. In this socialization, it is a form of community participation in supervising general elections. Community service activities are carried out for the community and village officials regarding the form of community participation in supervising general elections. The results of the implementation of community service are the importance of the participation of elements of the community in this oversight function will affect the realization of strengthening the authority of Bawaslu in the implementation of elections in Indonesia where this also has an influence on the law enforcement of election organizers in Indonesia, in this case is community participation, the benchmark for community participation here can be measured from the existence of community participation in supervising the implementation of elections, especially in Ngujung Village to achieve balance and realize a democratic state based on Pancasila.

Institutional System Reform in the General Election Commission Through the Implementation of Digital-Based Applications

The advancement in science and technology, particularly in the information systems field, is proceeding rapidly. It is necessary to implement digitally-based applications to reform the institutional system to support the work and performance of the General Election Commission as the general election organizer. The qualitative research method explains and reveals how to reform the General Election Commission's institutional system by implementing digitally-based applications. Reference sources include books, scientific journals, laws and regulations, internet sources, and other relevant sources pertinent to this investigation. This study aims to discover, comprehend, and analyze information concerning institutional system reform at the General Election Commission via the implementation of digital-based applications. The research reveals that the General Election Commission is a state agency responsible for organizing general elections. Reform in an institution is necessary, a requirement of the times, due to the impact of technological advancements in all fields, systems, or orientation changes made to make things better than before. Changes made to the institutional system by the KPU have made it easier for the KPU to carry out its duties and responsibilities of providing the public with access to transparency, monitoring, and oversight at all stages of the election. Included are the Political Parties Information System (SIPOL), the KPU Member Information System and Ad Hoc Agency (SIAKBA), the Civil Service Information System (SIMPEG), as well as the Protect Your Rights Mobile Application and the Check Members of Political Parties Candidates for Election Contestants Through ID number.
