Evaluating the Role of Customer Relationship Management in Enhancing Customer Satisfaction: A Study of Arusha Urban Water Supply and Sanitation

This study explores the impact of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) on customer satisfaction at the Arusha Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (AUWSA). Employing a case study research design, the research targeted AUWSA customers and staff, using convenience and purposive sampling techniques to select a sample size of 100 individuals. Both primary and secondary data were utilized, with primary data gathered through questionnaires and interviews, and secondary data obtained from various documentary sources. Data analysis involved both quantitative and qualitative methods, with descriptive and inferential statistics applied to the quantitative data using SPSS. Qualitative data was analyzed through content analysis. The findings reveal that Information Technology (IT) significantly enhances timely information processing, facilitates effective customer communication, and promotes efficient service delivery, thereby reducing customer complaints and administrative errors. The study concludes that IT is crucial for improving customer satisfaction and recommends further research to explore CRM's impact on customer satisfaction in other service industries in Tanzania.

Bird-View Exploration of Internal Controls and Financial Performance of Selected Savings and Credit Co-Operative Societies in Moyo District, Uganda

This article explores internal controls and financial performance of selected savings and credit cooperative societies in Moyo district, Uganda. Utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, a descriptive cross-sectional research design was employed. The population consists of 56 participants. Data was collected with surveys and interviews. Findings revealed that internal controls are the pillar of any financial institution and SACCOs are not excluded and good financial performance is the motive for having good internal controls implemented in the SACCOs. In spite of the role played by internal controls, SACCOs have continued to face challenges relating to liquidity, profitability, efficiency; in terms of cost per borrower, and alleged malpractices. The above challenges could be attributed to weak internal control system, as this sets a base for misappropriation of organization’s resources. It is on this note that the study calls for the implementation of a systematic risk assessment process that identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks. Regularly update risk assessments to adapt to changing circumstances. More so, there is need to maintain effective internal control communication and proper flow of information down, across, and up within all sections of the organization. This includes clear communication of roles and responsibilities. Invest in continuous training and education for SACCO staff and members to ensure they have a strong understanding of internal controls, ethics, and risk management. Develop and regularly update comprehensive policies and procedures that clearly outline internal control processes, responsibilities, and expectations. Application of Earned Value Analysis Method and Earned Schedule Method to Time and Cost Control In Bank X Building Project

Construction projects are activities that must be completed within limited time and resources. This research aims to identify risky activities and make control efforts to reduce the level of hazard risk in the installation of steel box girder on the bridge. This research used a mixed methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Data were collected through surveys and interviews with 60 respondents from 35 bridge projects. The results showed that there were 29 variables of work accident risk factors, including 3 variables with moderate risk levels, 24 variables with high risk levels, and 2 variables with extreme risk levels. The highest risk factors were mobilization that caused congestion and crane overturning during girder lifting that caused operators to fall. To reduce the risk level, efforts are made to ensure all work is done correctly, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure an effective communication system in the installation of steel box girders on the bridge. The findings can serve as a basis for policy makers to develop better OHS regulations and guidelines, as well as provide valuable information for the development of more effective safety training programs for workers in the construction sector.

Something between a colleague and a tool: exploring the complex nexus between the role, responsibilities, and expectations of language assistants in multinational police settings in Kosovo (1999–2018)

ABSTRACT The United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) included armed international police officers (IPOs) vested with transitional executive authorities from 1999 to 2018. IPOs initially assumed full policing responsibilities in cooperation with language assistants (LAs), until recruited Kosovo Police officers (KPOs) underwent training and integrated into multinational police teams. Drawing on twenty-three ethnographic interviews conducted between 2018 and 2021, this article explores stakeholders’ perspectives on the role and expectations of police LAs. The analysis reveals that, besides serving as communication facilitators, cultural mediators, fixers, and repositories of cultural knowledge and information, LAs transcended conventional translator and interpreter roles by proactively assuming police officers’ responsibilities, including statement-taking, assisting with reports, and proofreading. However, LAs encountered trust issues stemming from IPOs’ apprehensions about losing control due to the language gap and deviations from literalism, coupled with KPOs’ concerns about LAs’ potential influence on their performance evaluations and promotions. Moreover, IPOs from authoritarian states and militarized police backgrounds tended to perceive LAs as tools rather than equal team members. Interviews indicate that a professional LA, beyond linguistic proficiency, embodies strong interpersonal skills and professional qualities essential for fostering trust and effective communication.

Modern Classification of Respiratory Diseases: Innovations in the International Classification of Diseases of the 11th Revision

A comprehensive analysis has been performed on the innovations in the classification of respiratory diseases introduced in ICD-11, comparing it with the previous ICD-10 version. This analysis underscores the critical importance of implementing a more detailed and systematic approach to categorizing diseases of the respiratory system. The enhancements found in ICD-11 have been proven to open up new opportunities for the timely and high-quality provision of medical and pharmaceutical care. This is particularly significant for patients suffering from various injuries, including those resulting from traffic accidents, participation in combat operations, and thoracic injuries. The updated classification system in ICD-11 allows for more precise diagnosis and treatment plans, which is essential for improving patient outcomes. By providing a more granular level of detail in disease categorization, healthcare professionals can better understand the nuances of respiratory conditions. This leads to more effective communication among doctors, pharmacists, and patients, thereby improving the legal and professional relationships within the healthcare system. Integrating the ICD-11 classification into educational and training programs is essential for advancing the qualifications of specialists. By incorporating it into curricula and professional development programs, medical practitioners can stay abreast of the latest advancements in disease classification and patient care. This integration is also vital for eliminating medical errors, as a more detailed classification system reduces the likelihood of misdiagnosis and improper treatment. Furthermore, adopting ICD-11 supports the ongoing development of the healthcare sector in Ukraine. It aligns the country's medical practices with international standards, facilitating better collaboration with global health organizations. This alignment is crucial for enhancing the overall quality of healthcare services provided to the population. In conclusion, the transition to ICD-11 represents a significant advancement in the classification of respiratory diseases. Its implementation is imperative for improving medical and pharmaceutical care, enhancing specialist training programs, and strengthening the doctor-pharmacist-patient relationship. The Application of Nanotechnology in Various Food Categories and Packaging

Nanotechnology has the potential to revolutionize the food industry by enhancing safety, quality, and shelf life. However, public acceptance is crucial for successful commercialization. This study provides a comparative analysis of consumer perceptions, attitudes, and willingness to purchase nanotechnology-based products across various food categories (processed foods, beverages, dairy, meat, fresh produce) and packaging applications (active, intelligent, biodegradable). Findings indicate that acceptance varies significantly based on food category and packaging type. Key influencing factors include perceived risks/benefits, knowledge/awareness, trust in regulations, and sociocultural/demographic variables. The study emphasizes the need for effective risk communication, transparent labeling, and public engagement to enhance consumer trust. Insights can guide policymakers, researchers, and industry in developing targeted strategies to address concerns and promote responsible nanotechnology development in the food sector.

Brain networks in newborns and infants with and without sensorineural hearing loss: A functional near-infrared spectroscopy study.

Understanding the impact of early sensory deficits on brain development is essential for understanding developmental processes and developing potential interventions. While previous studies have looked into the impact of prenatal experiences on language development, there is a lack of research on how these experiences affect early language and brain function development in individuals with sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL). To investigate SNHL effects on early brain development and connectivity in 4-month-olds vs healthy newborns and controls. The research involved analyzing the functional brain networks of 65 infants, categorized into three groups: 28 healthy newborns, 22 4-month-old participants with SNHL, and 15 age-matched healthy participants. The resting-state functional connectivity was measured and compared between the groups using functional near-infrared spectroscopy and graph theory to assess the brain network properties. Significant differences were found in resting-state functional connectivity between participants with SNHL and age-matched controls, indicating a developmental lag in brain connectivity for those with SNHL. Surprisingly, SNHL participants showed better connectivity development compared to healthy newborns, with connectivity strengths of 0.13 ± 0.04 for SNHL, 0.16 ± 0.08 for controls, and 0.098 ± 0.04 for newborns. Graph theory analysis revealed enhanced global brain network properties for the SNHL group, suggesting higher communication efficiency at 4 months. No significant differences were noted in network properties between 4-month-old SNHL participants and neonates. A unique pattern of central hubs was observed in the SNHL group, with 2 hubs in the left hemisphere compared to 6 in controls. 4-month-old infants with SNHL have a distinct brain network pattern with efficient long-distance information transmission but less effective local communication compared to age-matched controls.

Growing green: Exploring the drivers of citizens’ participation in Italian urban and peri-urban forestation governance

Urban and peri-urban forests (UPUFs) are essential components of urban landscapes that offer multiple benefits to local communities, above all to those who live in large cities. This realization has fueled the interest of the scientific community in understanding citizens’ attitudes and perceptions towards UPUFs, focusing on the diverse ecosystem services they provide in social and environmental terms. However, less attention has been paid to the citizens’ perceptions and attitudes about UPUFs in relation to their willingness to participate in their governance. This quantitative study aims to address this gap by identifying the main factors that affect citizens’ participation in UPUFs governance. Conducted in large Italian Metropolitan Functional Urban Areas, composed of a city and its commuting zone, with a population above 500,000 inhabitants, this study provides valuable insights into citizens’ willingness to participate in UPUFs governance. Results indicate that citizens' socio-demographic factors (especially education, age, and income) and the frequency of visits impact their perception of UPUFs. High positive perceptions of environmental quality and low perceptions of the negative impact of UPUFs promote active participation in governance, especially among young citizens with heightened green space sensitivity, among those dissatisfied with current green space management and those advocating for effective communication campaigns. These findings can provide a practicable scientific reference for municipalities to refine their corresponding decision-making and communication, and to devise effective urban forest programs.

Adopting Verbal and Non-verbal Communication Strategies in Oral Discussion by Omani University Students

Effective communication, both verbal and non-verbal, is key to the success of university students in academic and professional settings. This paper examines how Omani university students use these communication strategies during oral discussions, focusing on the balance between spoken words and non-verbal cues like body language and eye contact. The study finds that while students mostly rely on verbal communication, non-verbal signals play an important role in making their message clearer and more impactful. Recommendations are offered to help students better integrate both forms of communication, improving their readiness for both academic challenges and future careers.

Introducing a Framework for Surgical Discharge Summaries to Improve Accuracy and Succinctness in a Busy District General Hospital.

Background Discharge summaries (TTOs) are essential documents in the effective communication between primary and secondary care, particularly in conveying critical post-discharge instructions to patients. Inconsistencies and omissions in TTOs can significantly undermine patient outcomes and disrupt continuity of care. This is particularly relevant to surgical patients, who often require specific follow-up care such as the removal of clips or drains shortly after discharge. Following the recent transition from paper-based to electronic records at a busy district general hospital (Royal Blackburn Hospital, Blackburn), the quality of TTOs was noted to be substandard.This quality improvement project aimed to enhance the accuracy and clarity of surgical TTOs. Methods A targeted framework was developed in collaboration with local consultants and the consideration of national guidelines to guide the content of surgical TTOs, focusing on five essential components: Reason for Admission, Intervention, Surgical Details, Discharge Plan, and Follow-up Instructions. Initial retrospective data analysis includedTTOs (n=60) across five surgical wards, evaluating their quality against the framework. The framework was then introduced via educational initiatives and integrated into the hospital's electronic patient record (EPR) system (CERNER). The impact of these interventions was assessed through data collection after two Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles. Results Baseline data highlighted significant deficiencies; 42 (70%) of TTOs were missing at least one key element, with missing follow-up details most often the reason. Many TTOs also included excessive or inappropriate information, and their format varied greatly depending on individual writing styles. Following the first PDSA cycle and the introduction of the framework, the numberof TTOs containing all essential data points increased by 14 (30% increase), while those missing two or more elements decreased by 16 (48% decrease). After the second cycle, further improvements were observed, with the number of TTOs missing one or more data points decreased by 6 (21%). Despite the overall progress, follow-up information continued to be the most frequently omitted element. Feedback from resident doctors was positive and the unanimous opinion was that the framework improved not only the quality of TTOs, but also how efficiently they were written. Conclusions Implementing a standardised framework significantly improved the quality of surgical TTOs, particularly by increasing the inclusion of critical information. These results are encouraging. However, anecdotal evidence suggests there is a lack of training in writing TTOs at both undergraduate and foundation levels. Ongoing efforts are required to address these areas to ensure a sustained improvement in quality.

The federal government intervened to establish the company with the aim of restoring the services and profitability of bankrupt railways. As it developed, Conrail's railway network covered major cities and industrial centers in the Northeast and Midwest of the United States, possessing a strong market position and strategic value. Therefore, Conrail had become a target for mergers and acquisitions by large railway companies such as CSX and Norfolk Southern. Through mergers and acquisitions, the acquiring party could expand market coverage, enhance operational network connectivity and competitiveness. This is a complex and multi-layered issue, the CSX acquisition of Conrail involved financial and market implications, legal obstacles, competitive pressures, and strategic objectives. By analyzing these themes in depth, we could understand the key issues and response strategies that enterprises face in the M&A process, providing valuable experience for future M&A transactions. The study applied methods such as comparative analysis and case model analysis to analyze the main challenges, response strategies, and effects comprehensively and systematically in the M&A process, providing reference for similar cases. Overall, CSX's acquisition of Conrail demonstrates how companies can achieve acquisition goals and long-term development through flexible strategies, effective communication, and professional management in the face of complex legal, market, and operational challenges.

THE IMPORTANCE OF TEACHING CULTURE IN ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES (ESP)

The importance of teaching culture within English for Specific Purposes (ESP) programs is underscored by the necessity for cultural competence and linguistic proficiency, particularly in professional communication. ESP differs from General English education by tailoring instruction to the specific linguistic needs within various professional and technical domains. As the globalised professional world increasingly demands effective intercultural communication, ESP programs must integrate cultural education to prepare learners for authentic interactions across cultural boundaries. This paper examines the importance of cultural aspects in professional communication and the integration of cultural education into ESP curricula, supported by the theoretical frameworks of Byram, Morgan et al. (1994), constructivist perspectives (Hughes & Sears, 2004), intercultural competence (Fantini, 1997), culturally relevant pedagogy (Ladson-Billings, 1995), multicultural education (Parker, 2019), and cultural intelligence (Earley & Ang, 2003). By delving into these pedagogical models and theories, the paper aims to demonstrate that cultural competence is not just an additive element but a core component of ESP curricula, essential for fostering professional, communicative competence among learners. Linguistic Diversity and Inclusion: Exploring International Students Attitudes Towards Their Own Accents and Those of Native English Speakers

International students studying in English-speaking countries represent a diverse linguistic background and may exhibit varying degrees of accent, which can influence their self-perception and their perception of others. Accordingly, the paper examines the attitudes of international students toward their own accents and those of native English speakers, with particular emphasis on their adaptation processes in academic and social contexts. In this paper, semi-structured interviews were conducted with undergraduate and postgraduate students from China, with varying levels of English proficiency and length of residence in the UK, which aims to elucidate the nuanced attitudes of international students towards accents and their adaptation strategies. The results show that while many students initially perceived British and American accents as prestigious and attempted to imitate them, as they progressed through the language environment they were more inclined to prioritize effective communication and intelligibility over achieving a perfect native accent. This shift is consistent with existing literature, which emphasizes the importance of prioritizing clarity and mutual understanding. Inclusive language policies that prioritize linguistic diversity and communicative effectiveness, thereby fostering learning environments that are conducive to language acquisition.

The Impact of Strategic Leadership on the Advancement of SMEs in Rwanda

Small and medium-sized enterprises commonly referred to as SMEs are important in the 21st century research since they have stood out as the core players in ensuring economic growth, innovation and job creation in the 21st century's rapidly evolving global economy. The study was carried with the general aim of examining the impact of strategic leadership on the advancement of SMEs in Rwanda. The specific objectives of the study were: to examine the extent to which strategy formulation and planning influences the advancement of SMEs in Rwanda; to establish how strategic communication influences the advancement of SMEs in Rwanda; and to find out the influence of strategy evaluation of the advancement of SMEs in Rwanda. The study adopted a descriptive research design. A total of 500 headers of the SMEs in Kigali Rwanda classified as manufacturing, processing and service SMEs were chosen and a sample size of 150 used with a response rate from the questions used in data collection being 135 translating to 90% return rate. Results indicated that as the per the regression model, it is indicated that 25.8% (R2 =0.568) advancement on SMEs in Rwanda can be explained by a combined effect of the three variables of strategic leadership including strategic formulation/planning, strategic communication and strategic evaluations. This is clear indication of a strong predictive power of the independent variables of the dependent variable SMEs advancement. More narrowly, Strategy Formulation and Planning (B = 0.285, p < 0.001) significantly influenced SME development when controlling for a co-efficient of R2 =.306, suggesting that by optimizing their planning practices an increase in such operations is causally related to greater performance of SME. This factor explained 30.6% of the total variance in SME progression. SME Advancement was likewise influenced significantly by Strategic Communication (B = 0.337, p < 0.001) having the highest Beta borrowed value of 0.353 as summarized in Table 9. Better communication practices (defined as clear, consistent messaging and stakeholder engagement) explain 35.3% of the variation in SME growth and development. SME: Strategy Evaluation (B = 0.391, p < 0.001) had the highest effect in SME advancement with Beta value of 0.376 This means that being continually evaluated and corrected according to performance indicators are one of the significant factors in SME success. It was the most powerful predictor of SME advancement, explaining 37.6% of variance in SME advancement. When the hypotheses were tested, the conclusions were made that: H1: There is a significant relationship between strategy formulation and planning and the advancement of SMEs in Rwanda. Result: Accepted (B = 0.285, p < 0.001). Also, as per H2: There is a significant relationship between strategic communication and the advancement of SMEs in Rwanda. Result: Accepted (B = 0.337, p < 0.001). Finally, H3: There is a significant relationship between strategy evaluation and the advancement of SMEs in Rwanda. Result: Accepted (B = 0.391, p < 0.001). Based on these research findings, the study recommends that SMEs in Rwanda should invest in comprehensive strategy formulation processes, implement effective communication systems, continuously evaluate their strategic initiatives, and adopt innovative technologies to enhance their competitiveness and ensure sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving business environment.

Parental Perspectives on Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccination in Gulf Cooperation Council Countries: A systematic review.

This systematic review aims to synthesize existing research on parental knowledge, attitudes, and barriers to human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Following PRISMA guidelines, this systematic review analyzed parental knowledge, attitudes, and barriers to HPV vaccination in 6 GCC countries. A comprehensive search across multiple electronic databases (Embase, Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature, Scopus, Ovid MEDLINE, Web of Science, and PubMed) was conducted, focusing on studies published between January 2010 and December 2023. Inclusion criteria targeted studies in English or Arabic involving parents in GCC countries, excluding non-research publications and those not using survey techniques. The review included 7 studies from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. No study was found in Oman, Bahrain, and Kuwait. The findings highlighted low knowledge and awareness of HPV and the vaccine, with significant variation across studies. According to our review findings, the level of awareness in the 7 studies was found to be low to high. These studies collectively illustrate a range of awareness levels, from as low as 11% awareness of the HPV-cervical cancer link to as high as 68% general awareness of HPV. Attitudes towards vaccination were poor in Saudi Arabia but more positive in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. Major barriers included safety concerns, lack of information, and cultural beliefs. Despite moderate awareness in some GCC countries, substantial knowledge gaps and vaccine hesitancy persist. Targeted educational campaigns, effective communication strategies, and involvement of community leaders are essential to improve HPV vaccination uptake.

General practitioners’ views on inappropriate prescribing for older patients: a qualitative study through focus groups

BackgroundInappropriate prescribing (IP) is a common problem in the older population. Despite numerous attempts to tackle this issue, it remains a public health concern. In most European countries, general practitioners (GPs) are responsible for global primary care and are thus gatekeepers for the adequacy of medicines, specifically for older people. An in-depth analysis of the situation is necessary to understand why this phenomenon is still prevalent and to identify solutions that could help avoid IP in primary practice.MethodA qualitative study based on five focus groups (FG) comprising nine to thirteen general practitioners was conducted in the French-speaking part of Belgium. Participants were recruited among the Local Medical Evaluation Groups (LMEG) and selected to guarantee heterogeneity in working organisations, years of professional experience, gender and age. All interviews were recorded with prior agreement and transcribed in verbatims. The transcripts were coded and analysed to highlight the primary themes, considering dominant and marginal discourses.ResultsFifty four GPs participated in the study, with an average experience of 30 years. IPs are perceived as a significant problem in the older population, leading to dangerous health situations. The issue is associated with polypharmacy and multimorbidity, and GPs stated to manage IP using their clinical experience. Most of the study participants faced difficulties managing IP, mostly due to the specificity and complexity of elderly care. Indeed, managing an older patient is challenging due to medical complexity, poor adherence to drug regimes, or low medical literacy. In addition, the medical environment of general practice is challenging, with multiple providers, lack of time, prescribing routine and the absence of effective communication with specialists or other care providers. Additionally, the tools and support available to help medication management in primary care are inadequate. Enhancing collaboration with pharmacists is perceived as a strong potential facilitator.ConclusionThis article addresses the complex management of IP in the old age, from the point of view of GPs. Interesting clues were highlighted, like the need to clarify roles of healthcare providers, the better fit of tools to facilitate medication’s review with particularities of GPs needs and the empowerment of pharmacist collaboration.

Employee Insights into Organizational Justice and Job Performance: The Case of Insurance Companies

This paper explores employee insights into organizational justice and job performance. It also examines the association between employee insights into organizational justice and their personal traits and analyzes the association between employee insights into organizational justice and job performance. This study used descriptive statistics as well as correlation analysis. The survey data were gathered from 250 employees of ten insurance companies (including both life and non-life) in Kathmandu Valley. The results indicate a significant and positive association between employee insights into organizational justice and job performance. It indicates that the justice of management matters a lot in enhancing employee job performance at work. The study's findings also reveal a substantial association between all employees' demographic characteristics and their insights into organizational justice. It indicates that when employers treat their employees fairly, they do well on the job. To develop a climate of organizational justice, organizations must ensure that rewards and resources are distributed fairly. It should prioritize clear compensation policies, fair reward systems, and performance-based incentives. It must also prioritize the establishment of fair and consistent decision-making systems by creating standardized systems for evaluations, promotions, and disciplinary actions. In addition, fostering respectful and equitable interpersonal interactions can also help to build an environment of organizational justice. For this, organizations must train managers and supervisors on effective communication skills, emphasizing the importance of treating employees with dignity and respect, promoting open-door policies in which employees feel comfortable discussing concerns, and ensuring that managers provide clear and honest clarification for decisions. All of these activities ultimately increase employees' willingness to optimize their potential for higher levels of job performance.

Local Cultural Approach in Navigating Family Conflict: Understanding Cultural Strategies for Human Well-Being

Objective: This study explores the complexities of family conflict within a local cultural framework, focusing on its impacts on physical and mental well-being through mapping its intensity, root causes, and long-term consequences. The study aims to understand how unresolved interpersonal tensions can negatively impact emotional and social health, ultimately affecting harmony and balance within local communities. The approach uses a theoretical framework that underscores the importance of culture-based communication, negotiation skills that respect local norms, and appreciation for diverse perspectives as steps to reduce conflict and promote mental health. This research contextualizes conflict within various local cultural settings, specifically within families influenced by communal and intergenerational values. Through in-depth analysis of the family as the unit of study, variables such as communication and social relationships are examined with an emphasis on unique socio-cultural dynamics. The findings highlight the negative impact of unresolved family conflict on emotional well-being and the stability of social relationships within the family unit. Conflict can disrupt interpersonal dynamics, creating long-term disharmony that undermines family cohesion. These adverse effects underscore the need for systematic, ongoing interventions to support mental health and collective well-being. This study emphasizes the importance of addressing family conflict as a critical component in achieving the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of Good Health and Well-being. Interventions that adopt a local cultural approach—such as effective communication strategies and conflict resolution skills rooted in communal norms—are essential for fostering healthier and more harmonious family environments. By identifying three primary approaches—cultural rehabilitation processes, the development of communication that values local culture, and conflict management skills—the study provides practical insights aligned with global efforts to improve mental health and social well-being in accordance with the SDG framework.

Digital CRM in Nagpur's Primary and Secondary Schools: A Health Systems Approach to Enhancing Student Wellbeing in the Digital Transformation Era

Over the last couple of years, a significant increase in the use of educational technologies has changed the ways of student relationships and students’ well-being management. This study aims at establishing the extent and nature of utilization of Digital CRM system in primary and secondary schools in Nagpur from a health systems perspective, and the effects on students health. The research explores the effectiveness of the adopted digital CRM platforms to enhance more friendly, effective communication, and to create supportive mental and physical health student centred programs. The study utilizes survey questionnaires and short interviews with school administrators, teachers and students to determine the extent in which the digital CRM systems are effective and the difficulties encountered in the learning environment. Other relevant areas of interest include improvement in the services available to students, parents and strengthening of efficient mechanisms of collecting student health data for policy formulation. The details will describe the implication of the future digital CRM tools on the present issues related to the Nagpur students’ needs and the implications of health systems integration among schools. Based on this study it is suggested that digital CRM can greatly enhance the capacity of the school to support and respond to students’ needs through timely interventions, accessible collaboration communication, and a positive school climate. However, the program maintains several difficulties which have the potential to hinder valuable implementation: Data protection issue; Training of the system for the stakeholders; and Resource issues. Based on integrating the concepts of digital CRM with health systems the following recommendations for development of student’s wellbeing in the conceptual normal of digital transformation have been formulated by this research for the policymakers, educators, and technology suppliers.
